We had a nice 2nd floor room, and it was quite ok for the price. I've seen more fancy rooms, but not at this price point in London, and everything worked fine. We didn't talk much with the staff, but when we did they were efficient and to the point (as in, not rude, but neither chatty).
Lousy place. It is cheaper if you book well in advance, but dirty, inhospitable and apartment without any service at all. Rooms smell, fittings broken, and no service. No facility to clean the apartment yourself as 'appliances' like broom or cleaner or even wiping cloth is not provided. If you think of a holidays here, forget it. If you think if business, forget it as after a hard day, you get to work in your room too. Avoid staying here if you can. Better pay higher and get at least some service. Only respite is the reception staff, who are polite and willing to help in their streight jecket.

Pleasantly surprised! Apartments really nice. Location excellent. Best bit was having our own balcony. Would have liked maid service and clean up but otherwise very good!
