It is the worst hotel in which I have been, to start the pictures that come out are not real, is a hovel of seedy, with a lack of control in the reserves I M P R E S I O N A N T E, we were 3 nights and 3 nights we had problems to sleep the first night our reservation for 10 people, not appeared, when we had printed and reserved and paid for. We stayed 4 in another hotel of seedy where salian chickpeas from pipelines, the rest stayed in another hotel had to sleep 2 in a single because had no beds, in an attic without basin, the day after more of the same, a person had to sleep on a mattress on the floor, and the next day the room as we had assigned it were one older couple, but it more strong is that we took the suitcases of the room without permission! We were hallucinating, the manager went to the room dl marriage, who were sleeping, wake them up and echo them the room that it was our, I'm explaining you roughly, the only thing that worried the manager was not contaramos nothing on the internet (? ) nothing of that, even more, we will denounce because what happened has no name, people, by very cheap that is not vayaisss! that it cheap comes out expensive, and in this occasion for all us was a without live without know where we were going to sleep…

As bas as people described it… I don 't recommend it, the 3 stars is a joke!

I would never in a million years recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms and en suite bathrooms are tiny, run down, and very dirty. Stains on the chairs, carpets, walls, tub, etc. The hallways smell of stale smoke and occasionally fresh smoke, despite the non-smoking policy. Floors are very creaky so don't expect to sleep very well if the people in the room above you are moving around. You are required to pay for your full stay ON ARRIVAL and you will NOT be refunded if you choose to leave early. I would highly suggest you request to see your room before paying for anything, if you dare try to stay at the Hyde Park Tower Hotel. You will not get any money back once you pay. If you are looking for an affordable stay, this hotel is NOT worth it, unless you are used to staying in filthy accommodations. The bar staff was incompetent and had to be walked through how to make drinks and which liquor to use. The only positive is that the location is one block away from some amazing restaurants and very close to Hyde Park and 2 Tube Stations. To sum it up: DIRTY UNREASONABLE SCAM Do not stay here!

Very small rooms, paint comes of the walls, grouting dirty, sink was blocked, very tatty looking, no toilett brush, every morning at 7am a very loud machine switched on outside the room window and the night was over, very good location, friendly staff but very unorganized and at breakfast the pressure was to much to cope with for the staff, leaking windows, nice towels, space between bed and walls around the bed was each side 20! cms only. All in all, no value for money, considering we paid between GBP 70 and GBP 125 per night. We (7 people) would not recomment this hotel.

Upon arrival we were told that rooms we had booked were not available, and we had been 'upgraded' from our double room into two single rooms, we were offered no alternatives and the reason was given as 'technical fault with our original rooms' upon speaking with other guests it appears that most people have been asked if they would change to single room which this hotel has allot of, leading to the conclusion that the hotel was overbooked. After complaining three times I was at last offered an English breakfast for my inconvenience. The rooms are in need of updating, the location is noisy but this is to be expected, very squeaky floor boards and beds in need of renewal, all in all I would look elsewhere I expected better even from a budget hotel as the staff appear to be lacking in basic customer skill, the best way to prove yourself as a hotel is how you deal with problems and in this case badly, but it's not as bad as the sky lane hotel Gatwick in 2002.

First, the hotel is a good deal for the price. The rooms are small, but the linens were clean. That's about it. The carpet is at least 20 years old and looks like it came from a homeless shelter. There is no way I would walk barefooted on the carpet. There was mold in the bathroom along with chipping and peeling paint. The reality is that management doesn't give a crap about their customers. Complaints are resolved only after 3-4 attempts. As an example, the remote control needed new batteries because the cover on the remote control was missing. I had to ask three times for new batteries over a four hour period and finally took batteries out of some of my portable electronics and fixed it myself. As an other example, the internet only worked half the time. When I asked about the internet at the front desk I was told "we just called the company and it will be fixed within 30 minutes". I was told this verbatim on three consecutive days. The internet wasn't fixed in "30 minutes". It would take 2-3 days. The good news is that there is a McDonalds the next street over and they had a great wireless signal. Never once did management offer a free drink, meal, or anything to compensate people for their trouble. The screeching fire alarm would go off randomly about every day or so. No explanation was given by management as to why this kept occuring. The continental breakfast is the SAME THING EVERYDAY. The staff puts out the same high sugar, high starch pastries every single day.
