Excellent hotel! set in a great location on London very close to Hyde Park. I stayed for 2 weeks and I felt very welcome! a delicious fresh cooked breakfast every morning and fresh tea and coffee. My room was a little small but had everything I needed! great service and great atmosphere.

Small Hotel with friendly staff. The lack of the lift you feel, especially if you are in the high floors, while you are lucky if you end up in the basement as at least for the breakfasts you do not have to make changes of plan. The bad thing being below is that the windows are at sight of anyone walking on the road and/or not. The room is small but it has the fridge and the big TV which, to my surprise, also has the USB PVR (which is usually found on TV of a certain tenor), but the bathroom looks like that of a cabin of a ship (in all senses).

Good attention, we arrived at 9am and got the room with no problem, and also we were invited breakfast that day! Small room But it was what we had hired. Good bathroom and clean.

Good location. 5 minutes walk to paddington station. Small rooms. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

Good value for money I was fortunate to have one of the rooms with the newly refurbished bathroom and the truth that came from pearls. It is not a hotel to stay and enjoy it, it is a hotel to spend the night and replenish energies of the kicked you have given to London. Besides, the breakfast very rich and most of the staff are nice and friendly, something that seems to be, it's hard to find in London. If it is to comment something bad would say their stairs, which are narrow and steep, but they make you warm after the cold London winter.

I put a star because I am obliged to vote. It's the worst place I've been. I do not count the number of times we had to change rooms (at least 4 times in a week and a half) because of aeration problem in the bathrooms, heating is too hot or cold, mice, lack of water flow in some bathrooms. Finally, bed bugs and a technician who swears he has never seen bed bugs in the room. Result? I have spots on the skin because of the bites, I had to shorten my trip and disinfect all my things not to bring these animals home. otherwise the location is good and the ladies of the breakfast are very welcoming.

Well worth the price we paid. Very happy with the location and the hotel itself. Would stay there again…

Rough start, but when everything was straighten out we had the best time. The guys at the place really took very good care of us ladies thanks GUYS.

This as got to be the worst place I've stayed in … the rooms are not only extremely small but roasting hot too… that's great if your wanting a sauna, there is no air con … the no lift factor can be ignored but the noise the staff make outside your bedroom windows at 1 and 3 am is a disgrace, I was unluckily enough to be in the basement so the outside light made the bedroom feel like daylight all night long… the shower room well. Let's just say it's nothing but a glorified caravan with no room to swing a cat and a dribble of water for a shower, the breakfast room was tiny considering the hotel is large, we spent 2 nights here and are extremely grumpy due to lack of sleep and sauna like temperatures, the bedding is outdated and the curtains are too, for the state of this hotel the price should be £25 a night I urge all those that consider staying here to avoid it at all costs … yes OK the location is ideal but the hotel really is not! AVOID AVOID AVOID … it's not even worth the one star I gave it … I also forgot to mention the sodden bites we both received during our 2 nights here … and no there is NO gnats …

Sufficient in the Accommodation. Food is Good. Very good transport connections.

Can't say enough good about this hotel… the staff is so great and the breakfast was Fabulous!

The Kingsway also includes the admiral in need of Renovation. The house has a problem with Moisture. In our room (Nr1) the drain of the toilet is defective, the heating shoots or is cold. The humidity in the room is so high that the water condenses on the Discs. The Admiral is not Recommended.

Perfect position, 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Kind staff. Full english breakfast. Really nice room with a big bed, big TV (with youtube, netflix etc. ) and a big shower. You can ear some noises from the inside of the hotel but that didin't disturb us, as we are used to it in every 3 stars hotel. I definetely going to come back here next time.

Cozy Otelchik, near Paddington Station, quite quiet place, excellent transport accessibility. Delicious English Breakfast. Very good.

We loved it here and have to give it 5 stars, great value for the money, the only thing there's no lift but very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and an unbelievable location, 10 minute walk to Oxford St, or walkthrough Hyde park and you're in Knightsbridge where Harrods is.

Double/twin room: the size of the rooms was according to the expectation for a super centrally located hotel. Furnishings have come a little in the years, but okay. But the bathroom (retrofitted) was unfortunately a disaster, it reminds of that of a motorhome, quite worn and extremely small. Therefore, the very large deduction, and the recommendation for longer stays to choose a different hotel.

Poor breakfast, really small bathroom and very dirty hotel but GREAT LOCATION.

Waiting three days for repair or replacement of kettle — so missing tea in the evening, particularly when staring at the dead kettle. And two taps are funny only on the 1st day) But no high expectations leads to no disappointment 8-)

-5 if possible Awful room and toilet. Mostly friendly staff. But I payed them extra 30 pounds cause I didn't have change they didn't give it back always finding excuses not to.

Bad! Room is too hot with no ventilation! Small bathroom. If possible, try your chances in some other hotel.

The only good thing about the hotel is its location and friendly staff. Having said that, we arrived late in the evening and were told that in our room the window was broken and the shower is not working so we were sent to the next door hotel in the basement where all the noise from the street is getting straight to your room. We were told that the next day we will get a good room in compensation. After getting back in the evening we were given a room in the third floor in the annex of the hotel (no lift of course) in a small double room where somehow they managed to put an extra bed (since we were 3), thus creating a congested room with no space to move around. Not quite the place you expect for the price you pay.

Positif: The staff is very nice, courteous, helpful and breakfast is included in the price (european standard or Full English breakfast). Location is perfect. Close the hyde park, 35 min walk to oxford street. 2min walk from paddington station. loads of corner shop around, local pub, and delis (fish and chips, india, italian, halal restaurants, mc do etc. ) Minus: this is a cheap hotel, great location but if you take on a single room or double for a single person you don't get the value for your money: you ll be disappointed. it inst a a 3 star hotel but more of a 2 star, unfortunately. unless you go for the rooms precising you want one double WITH bathroom (and a bath) Cleanness: could do so much more.

Check out reviews for the admiral which they also own and you're liable to be transferred to (it says in the small print they can do it). They also own other hotels they own which, according to a disgruntled customer I bumped into upon checking in, are unfit for a dog. Could be a lovely place. Location and price though, second to none.

My room was very small and noisy and there was no hot water for shower! The room itself was located on the third floor (fourth floor, in America! ), the steps were very narrow and steep, and they were not fun to negotiate with a full sized suitcase! Yes, you have to carry your own luggage! If you must stay here, at least ask for a room facing well-away from the street. I cannot stress the noise factor enough! If you stay in a room facing the street, good luck getting any sleep! I found myself tossing-and-turning, trying to get to sleep and even tried earplugs, to no avail! By the way, the bathrooms were very strange and inefficient! They were tiny, fiberglass cocoons with barely enough room to move about. They were so small, one could almost take a shower while going to the bathroom (actually, in my second room, this was quiet possible! ) Paddington is a nice enough and convenient location. The folks running the seemed very nice but, even this did not make-up for my very trying (and mostly sleepless) five day stay. Unfortunately, I would suggest avoiding this hotel (and the similar cramped and noisy hotels nearby) entirely and opting for something nice.
