Better than I expected for such a cheap room. I paid just under £45 for a double room which was reasonable size for a cheap hotel. Looked like it had recently had some refurbishment and was quite modern in appearance including a sparkling bathroom with an excellent shower. The bed did not have the most expensive and comfortable mattress in the world, but I've certainly had worse in more expensive hotels! Plus our room had French doors opening onto a tiny balcony (well, just a railing outside the doors really) that let in some fresh air and looked out over a bustling Praed Street. All in all, excellent value and would definitely stay there again.

Room was nice enough and shower has good pressure and size however breakfast was a huge let down had to eat at cafe next door. Lukewarm and inadequate selection and no real coffee.

It's not as bad as they paint it on the web. It is not a hotelazo but it is clean and the staff is correct.

What a surprise when we arrived! Deceptive publicity made by the Hotel Ascot which presents its rooms while the 9a is 30 m farther and much less standing …
Microscopic room with decoration and cleanliness more than dubious! window does not properly close so stream of icy air live from the bed all night (attempt to clog with vain towels).
Non-existent soundproofing, storage and insufficient space, only one light bulb works on the three in the room, no hot water if you do not think to activate the water heater 15 min before going to the shower …
Let's talk about the staff … little smiling or unpleasant.
Breakfast too expensive for what is offered! Food is basic and industrial and sometimes absent from one day to the next …
Positives: Comfortable and clean bed, clean water room and in good condition, hotel near metro and restaurants.

53pounds for a good sized triple room, with a large bathed. But the Wi-Fi and the remote control of the television must be paid separately. Great connection for your location in Paddington.

Obviously not a five star hotel but the best cheap hotel I've been in so 5* rating. I rocked up at 2am and they had a room available. Rates are cheap. Bathroom was actually very nice. All clean, comfortable and basic.

Nice but the name is completely different so we had to ask to find it.
Other Super negative note misses the lift and we were on the fourth floor.

It's oke. For the price it's a fine hotel. Location of the hotel is between station Paddington and Lancaster Gate. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, a bit mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Bathrooms differ in size. Roadside rooms have small bathrooms, rooms in the back of the hotel have larger bathrooms. One room in the back of the hotel was very warm in comparison to the roadside rooms. This room was not well ventilated. The exhaust of the restaurant was ride under the window, which made the room smelly. The lobby is very minimalistic. Breakfast is fine.

Nothing flashy, small rooms, but acceptable pricing… For London.
