I was there for 2 weeks. Friendly & helpful staff. They we are available 24/7. Room was a little small but I was out on the town everyday & most nights so was only in the room to sleep & shower. Close to the train station, taxis, a couple of markets & restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place & go back.

Close proximity to Paddington station and great access to busses and tourist spots. The hotel has no amenities (like a toothbrush or paste). There are local shops right next door and you can buy stuff there. However, there are a couple of chain stores within Paddington station and it is a lot cheaper to go to there to buy things, including snacks for the day trip.

Good hotel at a fair price. London is not a cheap city in terms of hotels. Abbey Court is a good hotel at a cheap price. It’s really near the tube and the park, if you’re willing to relax at the park. The room has carpets all over, and as a hyper allergic person, I was surprised that I didn’t have any problems. I guess they do a really good job at keeping them clean.

Rooms very small. On the fifth floor it gets extremely hot at night in summer. Sweat-driving nights guaranteed. Rooms are very bright. The showers are more hobbit-sized. From 1, 75 body length problematic. Rooms are reasonably clean, but every day I got dirty towels here. Staff only moderately friendly. Again I will not book here. There are certainly better alternatives in this price range.

The room was clean and comfortable. But I only give it 2 stars because it was extremely hot. The window would only open about 6 inches. The heat was unbearable. The hotel need to install air conditioning or supply fans.

We stayed here for the British Summer Time 2018 event at Hyde Park. The hotel is five minutes from Paddington station and a nice 15 minute walk through the park to the event and Marble Arch. A tube from Paddington will take you most anywhere else you want to go in London. Staff were helpful and attentive. There's a free left luggage for your last day. Breakfast was adequate, but could've been better. The nearby Sawyers Arms and Victoria pubs offer good food or there are decent restaurants on Praed Street. The best price I found was going directly through the hotel.

Hotel renovated, but cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. The only drawback was that the windows are made of wood and guillotine and the air passed through the grooves. But we covered with a leftover towel and we were very warm. Change of towels and cleaning daily. I recommend it.

Good area, nice frontage, leafy green busy street. Tiny room even smaller bathroom, shower tiny, no hand towel very very basic. Not overly clean very old condition. No air con asked for fan and was given one albeit begrudgingly as was all staff treatment as though we were a pain need to go on courses to learn customer service. Breakfast appalling insult actually, dried bun bit of cereal ham and cheese disgrace be better to go to Cafe get egg on toast and coffee 15 hotels never seen such a disgrace, waitress rude, said "you paid" what's your room number oh no good morning. Stupidly reception staff said only pay each day in case you dont like it dummy us paid for 2 days NO refund as we were warned. Smelly cooking smells invade room as we were in backside of the hotel. One room looked into our room not great Room service okay except will only take bin rubbish I had extra bag of newspapers nope get rid of it yourself. All in all apart from fab area I give this a big thumb down.

Convenient location close to Paddington station. The neighborhood is full of locals to eat. Nice and helpful staff Clean room. Sore notes: Very small bathroom, hot and cold water provided with two separate taps that make it impossible to wash with lukewarm water. The bags of the dirty linen remained in front of our room for the three days of the stay. All in all a good place to stay a few days in London.

Great Hotel, clean rooms, very helpful staff and especially in a great location! A stone's throw from the Metro and Hyde Park.

Only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was because we were woken up by something different every morning. The first day a loud alarm went off, second room service knocked on our door, and the last day we were woken up by someone hammering something really loud in the next room. Other than that, the hotel was fairly clean, classy and exactly what we needed.

Two steps from Paddington. Ideal If you arrive at the Heathrow Express from the airport… localcitos to buy food on the way and some pub to take a beer if you feel like it too.

Beautiful hotel we stayed for 4 nights very friendly and accomodating staff always helpful and a good laugh. Room was clean and beds/towels/tea coffee milk / cups changed every day with clean white sheets! Will deffo be coming back :)

Nice neighborhood, good location to Subway. The exterior view is more like the rooms are, very small, bathroom without heating and tiny. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast very little choice for too much money. Overall verdict for two nights to sleep the price was OK.

Nice hotel, if slightly dated. The price reflects the hotel fairly. Its a decent place to stay and echoing the sentiment of the other reviewers, the reception staff are really polite and helpful. Not 5 star, but only because they need to sort out general maintenance. At this point, they seem to be covering over the cracks, but its starting to show and might be an issue in the future if they let go of the reigns.

Never seen smaller rooms ever. You could literally use the toilet, brush your teeth and have your feet in the shower stall ALL AT THE SAME TIME. 2 of the 3 rooms were ready upon arrival, the 3rd room was not and we told them and agreed that it wouldn't be a BASEMENT room. Once we came back later that day to check in it was a basement room. I had to argue for 15 minutes with the hotel front desk staff to give me another option as I wasn't staying in the basement. Finally they after telling me there was no other option, they finally gave me 2 single rooms for our triple room for the one evening. Then we you leave for the day you leave your key at the front desk, upon return you ask for your room number and they give you the key (without even checking your last name against the room number) so anyone could walk in, ask for any room number key and presto your in someones room… Terrible Terrible experience at this hotel and will never ever return.

If you're looking for luxury, keep looking. But if all you need is a bed for the night that's close to Paddington Station and reasonably priced, then this will do the job. The hotel is slightly shabby, and laid out like a maze. My room once I'd located it was comically tiny, barely big enough for the single bed. But it was clean, there was a shower, toilet, TV, kettle crammed in there somehow. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, which was all I needed. Good enough, but no more.

Very, very friendly staff. Great location — only 1 min. To the next underground station Paddington. The breakfast was very simple though, the water boiler in our room didn't work and you couldn't lock the windows from the inside, so we didn't know if someone could break into our room from the outside.

Would never go to this hotel again in the winter. It was freezing in the room as the heating always turned on for a few hours. Luckily, they got a radiator. The location of the hotel is definitely top!

Average Hotel to be a low budget. The rooms are quite small but in London it is normal. Honestly the only big flaw was the general cleanliness of the room and the feeling of breathing dust.
Great location, close to train station, Subway and various night buses included.
The Wi-Fi is not very stable.

Very clean in good location, very friendly staff. However, a significant deficiency disturbs the whole. Example: Room 76 is suitable for small stature up to 135 cm twill size and max. 40 kg. As a man with 1, 80 cm you can only go to bed very restricted without touching the TV. No wardrobe, there would be no place in this mini-room. Only a small narrow shelf in which even the coat hooks are too big. Only a few storage possibilities, the luggage can only be left on the ground to be able to clear it. The wash-bowl in the bathroom has toilet size in very small WC's. The access to the toilet exrem narrow. I've never showered in such a small shower. If you want to shower you have to turn on the water when the door is open, when the water warms up the shower otherwise you shower cold for a while. If you turn in the shower, you press the Duschhahn again with the body. With a lot of humor you can tolerate it, I passed away in the 3 nights.

Clean room. Good decor. Reasonably priced. Room a little too small with no space to move.

Great location for Paddington, the fourteen was clean and comfortable. I would recommend.

Stay somewhere else… The only perk to this hotel is the location. You can find other places of similar price in the same area. They can't be worse… Front desk — The front desk seemed mostly annoyed. There was one time I interacted with a gentleman and he didn't seemed annoyed by my comments and conversation (they were never busy when I spoke with them). They followed a common European practice of turning the key into the front desk when you leave the hotel (pick it back up when you return). The difference here is they seemed quite annoyed if you came and went in short periods of time. What do they expect? It's their policy! They were virtually useless when it came to finding somewhere to do our laundry (they do not have any laundry services available to guests). We found a place that would deliver our clean laundry to the hotel, which we informed them of and again they made it seem like a bother (but they held it at the front desk as we requested). Cleanliness — The room seemed generally clean except we found a used hypodermic needle in the TV cabinet. This generally made us question the rest of cleanliness. Room — The room was very small (we had a larger room in a hostel). Because it was tiny the bed took up the room and we constantly banged toes/shins against parts of the frame (and we only had backpacks for luggage). It's also a maze to find your room.

The location is perfect. Close to the metro station of Paddington and 300 meters from the beautiful Hyde Park. The floor was carpeted floor and the Hall corridor a bit. The room was small and had a private bathroom also small, everything very clean, but nothing more that we were there to relax and take a shower because staffs very early at 7 am to see London (closed shops in November to 17 are at night and at 19). The room has TV tft 20 '' without Spanish channels (Italians and Germans if), wardrobe for clothes, I think that Wi-Fi of payment (I buy prepaid card with 1 gb £ 10). There was a heater of water, 2 cups, coffee, sugar and milk in small jars that make you the workaround if you want to take something newly raised. We asked a fourth floor room thinking that it would be something out the window and finally the window coincides with a cornice that blocks you vision 50%. The service correct but somewhat distant. Below are several bars, small Indian supermarkets in 24hrs, and very close to McDonalds and Burger King if you are hungry and you don't know where you get. In general the hotel not bad.
