We had a delightful experience here! The rooms and living spaces are quite comfortable and the amenities are of good quality. The location is also fantastic: super walkable to loads of restaurants and sights and also very close to a tube station for journeys further afield. The only disappointing element of our stay was the gym, as it was relegated to two crummy concerned hotel rooms while a new gym gets constructed or remodeled, but this only means that for future guests, the gym will be much better.

Lovely hotel. This will sound weird, but, unfortunately, they have remodeled and billi liner have any smoking rooms. That was a big reason we booked this hotel again. But the hotel, staff, and amenities are wonderful, and the location is absolutely perfect.

A very high end plush hotel. Great food and drink but not totally accessible in the rooms.

We were promised 2 king beds but arrived to find a king and two twin beds. Some of the details were lacking — frayed edges of the carpets and the like. But the service was excellent and good value for money.

Amazing. Great service, beautiful rooms. Cleaning twice daily, anything you need provided. 24 hour room service. Large rooms. Only possible complaint is the shower's a bit complex.

The hotel is quite beautiful and luxurious. It provides a comfortable and pleasant experience for a visitor in the rooms. On top of that, a classy restaurant and bar and in place, providing great services if you want to take up meetings in the lobby etc.

The service provider at the Taj 51 was modern and accomplished. The location was magical. As close to Buckingham without looking in the queens windows. I enjoyed this beautiful decorated and maintained hotel.

Fantastic service from all levels of staff. Large clean rooms including a fully equipped kitchen, plus a washer. Bonus points for the Nespresso machine.

Very good, very easy to discover nearby attractions, close to two metro stations. India breakfast is perfect for people who live long-term choice. Kitchen was great, made a deep impression on us. Hotel staff were very friendly, very warm to us.

Absolutely amazing, great rooms with amazing service to boot.

Our recent week-long vacation in London went off without a hitch, thanks to the wonderful staff. The Concierge team provided us with impeccable service many things, including acquiring tickets for events, restaurant reservations, car services, and even learned much about us very quickly (ex, we asked for Tabasco sauce twice from room service and for every meal thereafter it came included on our beautiful set table). The rooms were very clean and revamped in the past 2 years. The housekeeping was wonderful and offered many services. Our room came complete with a kitchen and we were greeted with a basket of groceries (milk, eggs, cereal, crackers, jams…). Our dining table was also refreshed daily with a bowl of a variety of mixed fruits. The location was a short walk from Buckingham Palace and also the Knightsbridge Underground Station. We found an old pub with deep alcoves and good vibes around the corner, and just next door was Zander Bar, the longest bar in London, which featured a modern atmosphere and a cocktail menu that would tickle anyone's fancy!

Great location. Some hiccups checking in. Forgot the breakfast menu. Everything else has been beyond perfect.

Really nice resort there is nice cleaning services and popcorn and cola are free if your watching a movie And really nice beds and food.

I recommend Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences to everyone who is searching for a good spa. The facilities are new and modern, the staff is professional and very polite and the products like massage oil and those for face treatment are of a great quality.

This is my favorite hotel in London. The service and attention to detail (from check in, to the room and to the concierge services) is top notch. We stayed in the recently renovated kings section. Breakfast is absolutely amazing and consists of smoked salmon, yogurts, cured meats, fruit, cereal and seeds if you opt for the continental breakfast or you can get the full breakfast which includes eggs, waffles, oatmeal or request a special Indian dish of the day. If your day plan has you back in the vicinity of the hotel around 5pm, there is free cocktails and appetizers until 7pm. We found this perk to be a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful courtyard separating the Taj hotels. Much thanks to the whole staff and special thanks to Erol, who made every day feel so special.

4 nights for our anniversary in the hotel, where the kindness and availability of the staff are matched only by their professionalism. Breakfasts and meals in both restaurants are of high quality. Furthermore the location of this hotel is perfect for visiting London.

I should say up front that the Buckingham Gate is my preferred place to stay in London regardless of whether I am traveling for business or leisure. So I know what to expect — great rooms with more than a touch of luxury, really lovely and accommodating staff, a terrific location and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
