Lovely hotel, clean rooms, very helpful staff ideally situated for all attractions.

When we arrived at hotel Reception were all welcoming and informative I have problems with my mobility the staff were helpful, and provided access to lift Hotel well maintained, restaurant staff were polite and efficient and Afternoon tea was delicious.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at the Arden. The staff were tremendously warm and friendly. Amenities were extremely thoughtful. Breakfast in the morning was delightful and drinks abd desert jn the evening were lovely. Will definitely return!

Very helpful staff and very friendly the room was comfortable very spacious will visit again when in the area looked after by Alex very well she was very bubbly.

A wonderful relaxing birthday weekend with my dog, Bailey. The staff were all fabulous, friendly and welcoming. The food in the Brasserie was amazing, the bed was sooo comfortable and the room itself was just perfect. Thank you to everyone at the Arden.

We had a lovely stay for our anniversary on the evening of Friday 1st October. Our room was lovely and spacious. Amenities were all perfect. Very thoughtful touches for us to celebrate! Dinner in No44 Brasserie was excellent, as was the service. Breakfast was also excellent. All staff we encountered were helpful and polite. We got the impression whatever we needed, nothing would of been too much trouble. Only negative was it’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Gorgeous hotel and gardens. Our room overlooked the RSC Summer Theatre which was a lovely bonus, the room was beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious. We have had a fantastic break here, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended, thank you for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, the service was very attentive and along with very comfortable surroundings all carefully thought out COVID distancing made for an excellent Birthday treat.

Not given the full lunch menu so ordered and realised we could have had something different. Service was very slow with other tables food being delivered before ours. Almost finished our bottle of wine before lunch arrived. Disappointing.

Great hotel in the heart of Stratford by the river. After a shaky start we have a lovely room here! Can highly recommend the Monkey Puzzle room, overlooks the RSC and river! Great bathroom, lovely toiletries, great tea tray and complimentary biscuits.
The gardens are beautiful as are the furnishings. Thank you to the concierge for all his help! And the bottle of wine is delicious!

Fabulous service. All rules of social distancing in place. Food was excellent. Staff were so helpful and friendly it made our experience perfect.

Disappointing afternoon tea. Pleasant welcome and lovely surroundings. However, smoked salmon sandwiches were paste and not real salmon. Although they did cater for my wife's cheese allergy and prepared separate sandwiches. The scones were very different in size and slightly hard, although warm. Could have been warmed up in the oven! Cake selection not as good as previously experienced at other places. Staff were attentive and helpful.

Faultless. Excellent accomodation. I have stayed here on four occasions and have had a different room every time, from the largest to the smallest and I can safely say that they are all first class in every way. The staff are attentive and helpful at all times. The food is something I look forward to! Can't wait for my next visit.

Had a lovely "Afternoon Tea Experience" as a gift and used it at this hotel. Fabulous! Easy parking on site, beautiful clean hotel. Lovely tea Room with professional, attentive, friendly staff. Faultless! Highly recommended.

Would give 5 stars if the restaurant service wasn't slow. Friendly staff but need to learn to understand English better. When I ask for my tea bag and hot water separate that is what I expect to get.

Very nice place indeed in an ideal location for visiting the city of Cambridge. Beautiful weather, honesty bar and excellent grounds for walking made our stay very relaxing. Will definitely visit again.

After waiting for like 5 minutes to be seated, we kindly asked if we can have dinner. Out of approximately 30 tabels hardly 5 tables were occupied… But yet we were sent away because they were fully booked…

Lovely surroundings, Poor Roast Dinner From the time we sat down to food on the table was 1hr 15m it took 15 mins for the waiter to get our drinks order in! Don’t bother with the Restaurant Manager, Hasn’t a clue about customer service for such an establishment. Really disappointed for such a beautiful place.

Enjoyed the food although found the service slow. Expensive Prosecco about £32 a bottle which is extremely over the top. They also added a 10% service charge to the bill. All in all a pleasant meal sat outside on the terrace but be prepared to spend some money! I have to commend them for being able to provide a gluten free bun (which was lovely) for the burger. Especially as many people don't cater for gluten free. A lovely terrace overlooking the river and the Stratford on Avon Theatre. All in all a pleasant dining experience.

Just had afternoon tea at the Arden hotel Stratford on Avon it was absolutely superb. Food was excellent as were the staff who were so helpful with my allergies. Would most certainly recommend it. Thank you Arden hotel for a very enjoyable afternoon.

Had a great one night stay at the hotel. Arrived and there was space to park, all included in the room price. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and we were given a free upgrade. The bedroom was enormous, especially the bed which was also very comfortable although the pillows were a bit too soft for my personal taste. I'm sure if we'd asked different pillows would have been provided. We also had breakfast in the morning which was a good standard. The drinks prices in the bar seemed quite steep, even for a hotel, but that was the only negative we took away from a brilliant overnight stay. Pros Location Service Great sized room and bed Good breakfast (didn't eat dinner at the hotel) Cons Drinks prices in the bar Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property and excellent pre-theater dinner. Location cannot be better for theater. 3 min walk to town and shops.

Great Christmas luncheon, great food perfectly cooked, presented and very relaxing experience. The staff where very helpful with everything. The only downside was the parking lot was overly full with little space for disabled parking ♿

A group of us had afternoon tea at the Arden hotel. The hotel is beautiful and very well placed opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The consensus among the group was that we'd had an enjoyable experience, but thought that the portion allocated per person was on the small side and we're disappointed that the sweet foods outweighed the savoury options. The mini lemon tart was absolutely delicious!

I went to a company event which included a 3 course meal with drinks. We were situated in a long room with a couple of windows only due to probably a wedding taking up the majority of the hotel. It was a bit cramped for about 20 of us but did the job with a long table. The meal was nice but the person opposite me was not so fortunate as the soup was not put on the table properly and fell into his lap luckily he saved most of it falling. However in doing so he scolded his hand quite badly. Yes it was an accident but putting toothpaste on his scold and then bags of ice was not really doing anything. From what I could see it would be a lovely place to sit out and enjoy a drink but unfortunately I couldn't on this occasion.

Nice clean hotel in a lovely setting, but wasn't expecting to get a blistered hand as a result of the waitress dropping a bowl of scalding hot soup into my lap.

Fantastic room. Beautiful bathroom. So pleased with our choice to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary here.
Chose not to eat here as breakfast is too expensive and not included in our room rate.
The staff are lovely. Card and champagne on ice in room for our arrival. Certainly a great place for a special celebration.

Our stay at The Arden Hotel was absolutely brilliant! The hotel's location is perfect right opposite river Avon, Royal Shakespeare Company and Stratford's town centre, the rooms are tastefully furnished and equipped with lovely details (especially loved the over-sized bed and comfy bathrobes as well as central heating — so cozy! ), the restaurant's dinner and breakfast was very delicious (especially the Beef Two Ways! ) and the team's high level of attention, friendliness and assistance made our time here really worthwhile — thank you! We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shakespeare's birthplace — 10/10!

Nice spot for lunch, looking over the river and RSC building. Service was good and food was delicious and delivered promptly! Reasonable prices and good quality food.

Great location right by theater, the river and easy reach for all of the town centre attractions. Comfortable big bed, quality decor. Check-in easy and full English breakfast was great; included in rate with no extra charge to have it on room service.

Meet a customer there. Had coffee which is reasonably priced they also have free Wi-Fi which is very useful.

It's history is fascinating. It was the private residence of Stratford's first Lady Mayor, Annie Justins, who at the time ran The Shakespeare Hotel In Chapel Street.

My favourite hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon. Great location, right opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Comfortable rooms, good service, good food. The place to stay if attending an RSC performance. Check with hotel website for theatre packages.

My wife and I had our 5th wedding anniversary here. The location was great and the parking was extremely handy. The staff we fantastic, really helpful and genuinely friendly, they really seemed you to want to enjoy your stay. Our room was great, quite and well presented. It was very helpful to have a lovely dinner before going 2 secs across the road to the RSC. I'd definitely stay again, in fact my wife has suggested we go back for our 6th wedding anniversary. Paul.
