We had a wonderful stay at this hotel to celebrate my partner’s 60th birthday. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were all welcoming, helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. I highly recommend the hotel…it is very central and within an easy walk of local attractions and town centre. Delighted we booked to stay here.

Having stayed here 7 years ago as the Falcon to see the renovation on this hotel is incredible, the interiors are just beautiful! We were well looked after on our few days stay here and the staff could not do more for us. The Woodsman is excellent with impeccable service and they have a fab cocktail list! X.

Absolutely loved our stay here, it was such a quirky hotel with loads of character. The room was amazing, loads of space and the bath and shower were so luxury. We decided we are staying here staying here at least twice a year as a little treat to our selves!

Just had a bevi an the venison scotch eggs, they were ace staff were ace also.

Attended this evening for a pre-wedding meet and greet. Staff provided a waiting service outdoors for drinks following an order at point of sale. Any customer enquiries at this time were handled by staff whilst accomodating our party and catering for a busy restaurant. Thank you for providing a consistent service.

We had a lovely few days at hotel indigo and made full use of room service. We go to hotel indigo York regularly and Stratford was just as lovely. Super friendly staff too we will be back!

Outstanding staff. Despite having suitable Coviid processes in place it was never overbearing and did not detract from our experience. The hotel is excellently located and the decor and atmosphere is perfect. Cant wait to go again.

Spotless, spacious. Staff do everything to make you feel safe. Everything sanitised and spacious enough for safety. Beautiful garden to dine outside and drink in. The hotel had both modern and historic parts to it so you get the beautiful fixtures and beams but the ample space too, which is especially needed now.

I don’t know where to start. This hotel is absolutely beautiful, right in the heart of Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The staff could not be any more helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Nico was amazing and very attentive upon check in and check out.
Andre at the Woodsman restaurant went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect.
My review will not give the Woodsman restaurant the justice it deserves, you literally have to experience this gem for yourselves. The food was exceptional.
I cannot wait to go back.

Who was a great help when I asked if I could swap rooms to one with a bath
Room I had was great but the wife prefers a bath to a shower
Any way we swapped to 118 in the new part of hotel
Room was very nice with large smart tv. Iron and board. Safe. Free drink in fridge plus tea n coffee facilities
Plugs all had usb chargers built in as well so big plus for me. Robes n slippers ect
Friendly room service too
All in all a great stay. Will return.

Just a great and wonderful place in the heart of Shakespeare's town super room service food was just wow. Staff are super too we are IHG Members and this chain is doing a grand job of high end hotel group of IHG a true old fashioned suite set in the old part of hotel with Class and new part as well. And a great curry house around the corner is too die for School curry house like in the 80s 90s and again the food OMG wonderful. But to this hotel Helen is a lady who knows her stuff how to smile laugh and make you feel if she as knew you for some time. Just Great. Many thanks.

A beautiful hotel, excellent staff, superb food and ambience — we had a wonderful time!

Hotel Staff is top-notch. Attention is paid to every detail.

The Woodman restaurant is first class — second meal in a week and both have been excellent fresh food, superbly cooked, first class service.

We booked a 2 night stay for our Anniversary. We received an extremely warm welcome from the minute we arrived. The design and functionality of the room was perfect in fact faultless! You can tell that the hotel has been renovated to a top standard. We dined in the woodsman and again this was outstanding. The food, wine & service all top class. We stay in many hotels on a weekly basis with work and can honestly say we could not find a fault with anything. We have already checked availability to book another stay. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

All staffs were extremely well trained and knowledgeable Room was clean and well prepared Need to improve bathroom it's too old.

Ok place to stay. Our room was ok a bit rough round the edges but comfy.

Under rennovation, certainly needs it, our room was looking very tired but served its purpose of a bed for the night after an amazing wedding. I would come back again if required to but as we don't live too far away from stratford it would require an event for u to stay there again.

Well, located close to all attractions. Nice size rooms with large comfortable bed. Bathroom large enough, clean with shower over bath. Receptionist extremely professor and helpful. Has it'd own car park, which is £5 per night. Breakfast is £10 if you pre-book and £12 if you don't. It offers continental buffet and English which is made on order. Very nice hotel. One which I'll stay in again.

Lovely friendly staff and comforrab rooms. However food is poor value for money and the drinks are way too expensive. 6 double vodka and lemonade £45! They charge for 12 singles which is very disgusting. Other then that a nice place to stay.

The hotel is currently being refurbished which is a shame as the lovely tudor style exterior is completely hidden by raft of scaffolding. The designs fpr the refurbs inside look really good though, and I'm sure it will be brilliant once complete. The room had all of the basic amenities; kettle, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, running hot water, TV, wardrobe and basic toiletries. We did ask for a. Double bed, but were given two twins, however we didn't really notice so. It wasnt that bad. The staff are very friendly and parking on site is £5 per night for guests. Location is perfect. Right opposite Shakespeare's New Place and within walking distance of all of the regular tourist places, the River Avon and the theatre. If I was to stay in Stratford agaim then I would happily stay here again, also.

Excellent hotel. Solo traveler so booked 1 room with queen bed. Room is huge, was really pleasantly surprised. Have to pay a small fee for breakfast though. Worth it as beakfast was really delicious. Would stay again if I visit Stratford-upon-Avon in the future.

Very pleasant hotel with great location. Pet friendly. Currently undergoing refurb so facilities are more limited than usual. Room large and very clean.

Nice staff and excellent location. 5ish minute walk for Shakespeare's birthplace etc. Room left a lot to be desired. Looked a bit shabby and wasn't very clean. I'm sure once the refurbishments are completed it'll be nicer however it wasn't mentioned while booking that half the hotel is under renovation. Feel like we payed a bit too much to be in the 'modern' part of the hotel with no view and trucks going up and down.

Usually quite good, but renos had all the cool old parts of the location shut down. The 'newer' part is now fairly dated, but it is comfortable and centrally located for the RSC and High Street shopping. Parking structure was limited due to renos; hopefully this opens back up as the ample parking is handy for such a central location. Staff are very courteous and friendly. I would return, but only once the renos are complete.

Went for afternoon tea, which was served in a very spacious, but homely presented lounge. The staff were attentive and friendly, but not over the top. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had afternoon tea in one of the lounges. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the waitress who served our food.
The food was really lovely, the seating was great (big comfortable sofas), we could've stayed all day. Would recommend, thank you very much.

The hotel is going through a refurbishment which wasn't mentioned when we booked so it was a bit like a building site with scaffolding everywhere. I'm sure it'll be great when it's completed but they should have mentioned it when we made the booking. The room was distinctly shabby and ready for a refit and it had an air of 'moth balls' about it. We didn't have any meals at the hotel so can't comment on the food. The hotel is very well located in the centre of Stratford so they're never going to be short of guests no matter what.

Didn't stay at the hotel but dined in the Will's Place restaurant. We were the only diners on a Saturday night. The restaurant is within the hotel but situated towards the back so you don't know it's there from the street. We had 2 courses and prosecco. Food was incredible. All freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. I think there's a very good chef here who's sadly going to waste. Service was great — it should be as we were the only ones there! The restaurant really needs a good refurbishment and if they can keep hold of the chef then they'll make it. They need to promote it more though!

We were out for most of our stay this weekend but very friendly staff and atmosphere. Would have preferred a room in the old part of the building — our Room was large but not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination and £159 for an overnight twin room in the new prt of the building and not including breakfast is expensive. We did therefore not have breakfast — for this price would expect it.
Great central location however and lovely bar areas.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Falcon. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Having paid extra for a Deluxe room (ie one in the main house — the old part) we were very impressed. Our room was wonderful complete with a four poster and a chaise longue. We strolled around Stratford — the hotel is right in the centre — and came back for dinner. Three delicious courses again with great service. The next morning breakfast was perfect and even my husband was impressed he could have good old fried bread! The only downside? The room was noisy but hey we were on a Main Street and the windows were very old! Would we go again? Absolutely! Just working out the next dates we can sneak away from the kids. Absolutely top notch. If you get the chance to visit we would definitely recommend highly. Thank you Falcon — we loved it!

Came here for a weekend break for mine and my girlfriends anniversary. Very old and go rage hotel which is exactly what we wanted. Not to far from the main shopping centre.

The room we had was nice and functional but I struggled to see where the luxury was here. Great view of the 1960s car park.

Falcon was my stay when in Stratford many years ago on a tour from Australia. It's a fine hotel, very friendly, and helpful. It has amazing character too. Being situated right in the heart of Stratford it's the ideal jumping off point to the famous spots in, and around, this historic and pretty city.

Hotel and location is excellent. I was assigned a room in an old annex to the main building. Room was a bit weird shape which made it cranky. Staff was very helpful and excellent.

We spent 3 nights at the Legacy Falcon over Christmas and had a lovely, relaxed time. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The hotel itself mixes the charm of the old with the comfort of the new and it's just a short walk from the RSC theatre and the other sights of Stratford. There's also a car park which is free to guests. A really nice 4 star hotel.

We only stayed for one night and we only used it as a place to sleep rather than eat and socialise. It was well priced and had lovely decor. The bathroom wasn't very clean though.

I cannot thank the guys at the hotel enough, my husband and I had a fantastic break. Specifically the waitress in the restaurant called Ewa was just brilliant. Friendly, polite, professional and so helpful. She was a pleasure to see at dinner time. There was also a duty manager called Lloyd who was very friendly, very professional and very informative about the history of the hotel, even getting us a folder that they have complied showing the hotel through the ages. I recommend this hotel to everyone. If I come back to Startford Upon Avon again, that's where I will stay.

Had a room up in the Tudor eves. It was comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and professional. Very close to town centre with on site parking.
