Hotel is very quaint and oldie worlde with a modern twist… beautiful room very tastefully decorated… wife was impressed! we had evening meal… I had rib eye 'stunning' wife had lamb rump 'amazing both were cooked to perfection. Staff are very friendly and helpful… especially Lucy she was a breath of fresh air… cant wait for breakfast haha.

It’s clean and the staff charming and helpful. However my friend and I were in the roof — I guess formerly, at the beginning of the last century, the room for the in service/scullery maids. We hardly slept. There is a noise like a tumble dryer 24/7 possibly a boiler however I would not book again unless the guarantee was we had a room that was free of tumble dryer noise.

My wife won a night away here at the ormand and it didn't disappoint it was a lovely room and very clean and had the wow factor. We had dinner and a few drinks the food was great and the breakfast aswell were definitely be coming back again.

Lovely lunch here today and fantastic service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

Excellent stay here this weekend! Amazing service when we arrived, early check in, upgraded room and nothing was too much trouble! Breakfast was delicious too! Highly recommend.

I am gluten and lactose intolerant they were so good with me checking everything twice, I had ribeye steak one of the best steaks I ever eaten.
The staff was wonderful so friendly, funny and very helpful.

Sylvia greeted us yesterday. I stayed with my little daughter and husband. She was so friendly and professional, and went beyond to book us in. What a lovely team. Can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are fairly priced, super clean and really lovely. Great effort has gone into. The feel and vibe of the place. We've been before and we'll stay again. Thanks Sylvia! :)

Stayed the night and also had dinner. Hotel room was very pleasant with lots of consumables — tea, soap, hair conditioner. Great comfortable bed. The barman wasn't particularly friendly towards me, food was nice though, great courtyard.

Nice place. Lovely garden at the back. It is much bigger than we imagined. Well decorated… looks great… gents toilets a bit old fashioned.

Gave 5 star cus bar staff friendly. But had to wait 5 mins for a beer. I could of drank one of me cans in my Bergen while waiting.

Had a delicious cream tea this afternoon; good atmosphere, impeccable service and excellent food, very well presented. The service was quick, polite and efficient. At a time when other cafes in Tetbury were closing for the evening it was refreshing to find somewhere to sit and relax. Perfect!

A nice place in the middle to of Tetbury. No parking there, you have to park on the street or in car parks. Friendly staff. A decent selection on the menu and a separate piazza menu. Rooms are fine with good bathrooms.

Not a very warm welcome. Only people in the pub but not their fault. Most insipid cocktail I've ever had. Shame.

A decent hotel! Experience might vary based on which rooms you get because some rooms are very small. There is no lift too.

Had a great time at the Ormond Hotel, Friendly Staff, Great Food, Lovely Hotel. The Staff couldn't do enough for you. We were at the top of the Hotel Room was lovely and Clean and had Tea and Coffee if yo wanted. Would recommend this hotel to Family and Family if going to the Cotswold.

We enjoyed our short visit here having only stopped for refreshments we received a lovely warm welcome from the staff. We were impressed by the friendly atmosphere despite it being a locals pub. Well stocked bar and comfy seating around an open fire. Very tempted to return soon in the spring to try out the menu. Parking limited on street only and can get busy.

Lovely place for lunch, cosy and welcoming. We both had ciabatta, one beef with horseradish and one goats cheese with Mediterranean veg. Bit heavy on pesto but lovely nonetheless. Served with generous portion of chips and small pot of coleslaw. Lovely barman/waiter. Reasonably priced too!

Stayed for the night on Friday… lovely friendly welcome and a cracking atmosphere. Really wished we had stayed for another night. Room was lovely, location was perfect and they sold my favourite lager Tyskie. 5*. Will definitely be back Thnks to all the friendly helpful staff. Really makes a lovely pub just that bit extra special :)

Stayed the night here last night. What a quirky, clean, amazing small hotel in the centre of town. Arranged for our evening meal there and were not disappointed with the quality of food. Also decided to have breakfast there and again the quality of the food was up there and the staff on both occasions were friendly and helpful. If in the area again, I will definitely stay at The Ormond at Tetbury.

Mixed experience with food — just went in for lunch. Fish & chips excellent, but the quiche was average. Was like it had just gone in the microwave. Very nice pint of ale. Desserts not great — cheesecake had to be returned as tasted slightly off, but management graciously took it off the bill.

Beautiful place staff are perfect the venue is an idyllic place in tetbury which in itself is an amazing town from a bygone era.

Not the greatest experience. The place is very dated, the staff didn't have a clue what to do and got my order wrong. I would look for a different place to eat.

The battered fish and chips contain a lot of fish, that's a good thing! The tartar sauce has a lovely garlic hint to it. Ale wise there is a limited option but the atmosphere is pleasant and the service is friendly.

This is a lovely hotel set in the middle of tetbury. The food is good and the rooms are great.

Was a really nice hotel. Bit of a strange layout; lots of twist and turns (can be hard to find your room). The room was a good size but 2 of our bulbs in the room were out and this was fix within the hour. As it is an old building it cheeked and transfer sounds very easily. The main problem we found is there is know on site park. You can get an hour free on the road or a few hours in the car park around the corner for a couple of pounds (free between 6pm and 8am) Overall an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for two nights, the welcome was fine, the room was very dark and the en suite small with an electric shower that had seen better days. A trickle of water came out of the shower. Also the sink was a funny shape and not easy to use. Mattress was very hard although the bed was a good size. The hotel is split in two parts with rooms one side and bar and food across the other side of the hotel. The corridors were a bit dingy with various plug in air fresheners, some smelling better than others. The food was fine although on the second night the service wasn't great and we left without asking if we wanted a dessert, even though we had paid for a three course meal. We were not asked by any member of staff if we had enjoyed our stay when we were paying the final bill and leaving. The car park was free but a long way away from the hotel. Wanted to enjoy our stay but just didn't, which was a real shame.

Looking to get out of the city, my girlfriend and I spent a very comfortable and quiet night in a ‘superior’ room at the Ormond. Across-street parking is available, although limited to one hour. We found this to be beneficial in checking in and dropping off our bags before relocating the car to the long-stay car park less than a three minute walk from the hotel. We received a professional and informative welcome from a member of staff, who offered to take our bags before showing us to our room. Be aware that the hotel reception is on the right of a central outdoor passageway and the hotel bar is on the left, and it would appear as though staff share responsibilities between the two. If there is no-one at reception at your time of arrival you may want to pop over to the bar to make yourself known? Tucked away in the loft our spacious and decorous room featured an ample king size bed with ornate bed stead and corresponding furnishings, a correctly-tuned digital television, telephone with easy access to reception, a decent hair dryer, a generous provision of tea and coffee making facilities, and a view over the multitude of the sixteenth and seventeenth century rooftops of Tetbury town centre. Like the bedroom our bathroom was clean, tidy and spacious. The shower was of a high standard and we appreciated the inclusion of a bathtub. Mini bottles of shower gel and shampoo were provided, along with ample towels.
