Reviews of The Buttery 4*
We had an upgrade and we'll honestly for £80 a night if that's the nice room then wow what's the standard rooms like, dirty, things scratched, bulbs missing, no safe, no fridge, I mean cars and vans's at 5.30 this morning, shocking place.
Fantastic location in the centre of Oxford, impeccably clean and spacious room and bathroom, good Wi-Fi and lovely staff. Plus, the price was very reasonable. I will return.

Trying to sleep in room 201 as we speak, it’s a lovely spacious room, with refreshments/clean towels etc provided, staff seem lovely/pleasant… but the noise coming from the room above is RIDICULOUS at gone 11pm at night… As well as the fact we’ve just had some idiots bang on our room door very loudly, running away laughing, waking as all in a fright (my heart is still racing) Not impressed, the front desk claimed they came from the street 🤷🏻♀️ (why isn’t the door code now in use at this time, why can randoms even enter and get past the front desk at this hour). Definitely will not stay here again, coupled with the mould in the bathroom and grisly grouting…. The noise that is permitted from other rooms is a joke. Sounds like someone (s) is coming through ceiling for the past hour. And if it were drunk randoms, coming in off the streets to scare us in our beds, then clearly the key code system needs to be activated earlier! Not impressed at all.
