I hadn’t booked, Got a lovely cooked Roast Pork Cooked just right, was lovely. Friendly and prompt service. I got a window seat. Handy to see the sights in Penzance, close to the Train station. 💌🏅🏆

Not surprised the Dock Inn sold out of their first takeaway Sunday Roast of lockdown (and the alternative fresh Newlyn crab salad) today. Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented ready to just transfer on to plates when we got home. What a treat.

If you want a friendly pub with good food at a good price, look no further in PZ.
Great place to pop in for a quiet meal but also with large groups. Karen and Phil are lovely as is all their staff.

Slightly spoiled on THIS occasion by the attititude of the young lady waiting on the tables in the dining area, bit could see that she was very busy dealing with quite a few tables…

We had booked into a Guest House in Penzance, and we were wondering where we could eat. The owners of the Guest House gave us a few suggestions, the Dock Inn was one of them. We walked along the sea front in the general direction of the Inn. We walked in and asked if we could get something to eat, we were assured by friendly staff that we could and shown to a table. The menu had a good choice and the prices were reasonable. We ordered and within a short time we were tucking into a lovely meal. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. We were glad we were told to try it and I would thoroughly recommend having a meal there.

Nice little pub, great ale, good food and lovely staff. The gents toilet is worth a mention as it's the cleanest I've ever seen!

It's not a bad place to say but I think they charge too much. We stayed for one night in a room that was £170 p/n and honesty, I'd say we wasted our money. The room was clean and tidy, that I can't fault but it didn't hold any luxuries really, basic selection of drinks and sundries, cheap shower gel and towels that you couldn't really dry off with as they were small. The beds were uncomfortable, thw mattresses hard, bedding scratchy and the pillows were hard. I didn't get to try the cooked breakfast as I had to leave early but they left some cereal and croissants (cheap, individually wrapped ones) my partner had the breakfast but said it was small portions. The staff were friendly and accomidating though. Unfortunately at the price per night, I wouldn't stay again, as stayed elsewhere in Penzance, right on thw front with a sea veiw and a much higher standard room for £90 less.

I was only there for 1 night and it was fabulous, the room was clean and warm, super big ensuite bathroom. Very friendly landlord, landlady and staff.

A proper pub. Good food reasonably priced and where possible locally sourced. Would recommend to anyone not wanting loud music or TV screens everywhere.

What a gem of a pub! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly place to have a drink and a meal. The beer is excellent kept and the food is fantastic and well priced. The Sunday lunch is well worth a try, very good quality ingredients, beautifully cooked.
