Very pleasant meal and drinks tonight. Staff were very helpful while clearly busy and dealing with a new menu. The menu has an excellent selection. My steak was cooked to perfection. Charlie and Pete loved their burgers and thanks to the waitress for ensuring the cheese was on the side :) Woukd recommend.

Excellent meal tonight with friends and family. Fish fantastic. I had the megrim. Beautifully cooked and seasoned. Kids loved the chicken burgers but very big portions. Staff were amazing in very busy restaurant. See you all again on next visit.

Food all round was very disappointing, I ordered a daily special fish dish. It was over cooked, bland and certainly not £17 worth, my husbands burger was more like a frozen burger that a local special. Service staff handled our complaint well, but would not return.

Typical pub with typical pub food. Nothing too exciting, but tasty enough when you don't expect fine dining. We had a monkfish special which was tasty. It could some bolder flavours on the monkfish itself, but all in all a decent meal. Outdoors seating on the carpark is on picknick tables. Unfortunately out of the sun in the afternoon.

Only called in for a pint as the place name is the same as mine The bar staff were very friendly and told us a few facts about Paul Ale was really cold and first class Didn't have food so can't comment but if the atmosphere was anything to go by it should be 5 star.

Great food and staff called I'm last week while passing 1st visit then returned twice more for food and drinks. Will return next tome were in Cornwall.

Lovely old pub with wonky floors, a friendly welcome, a wide selection of gins and a knowledgeable barman. I will definitely go again if nearby.

Just come back from dinner there 2nd favourite meal I've had in Cornwall 1st was Rick Steins. Lovely lasagne and best garlic bread I've ever had. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Deffinately go back again if I was in the area. Thank you.

Had a lovely meal here. We had reservations at another restaurant in Mousehole but couldn't find a place to park. We found this gem just up the road.

Great Staff Unbelievably expensive for very average pub grub in a pub that has been very unsympathetically renovated. Over renovated as it were, and no has almost no character left — shame 8.95 for half a bag of chips and 4 basics fish fingers in a plastic basket. For 8.95 I would at least expect good quality fish fingers.

People working there were really nice and friendly (as guests too), long hair gay that worked there was sooooo handsome! Place was really clean, room was a bit narrow and really small, breakfast was great although it was a long wait for English breakfast although guy that did the breakfast made amazing poached eggs.

A nice local pub with good food, friendly service and plenty of seating. There are benches out the front to enjoy the sunshine and there's always free parking too!

Really liked this place. They know about g&t combos although maybe too many gins on offer (over twenty at a guess! ). The food is good. Pretty quiet place midweek but was the end of April so low season.

We were impressed by the atmosphere and very much appreciated the availability of good quality food, also for the children.

Great time had, would go back.

Very hospitable village pub, with excellent food and good service. Live music on Wednesday nights — an eclectic mix from bluegrass to French jazz. Thanks to Morvah for making our bunch of students feel so welcome every evening.

Only stayed for 2 nights and could not ask for a better stay. Staff helpful and food and accommodation very good. Slept so well did not want to leave. Thanks to Morvah and her staff. Mike Johnson.

We went for a Sunday roast. The food was lovely and a good portion size. Going there again this week we liked it that much.

Quiet pub with plenty of parking. Barman not very welcoming, food was average chips were overdone and the chilli dry.
