The staff are all amazing in every area of the hotel, it’s a beautiful hotel with an amazing pool. The rooms are massive with great views. Yasser on the main door deserves a special mention as he was always going above and beyond to help My wife and I and my young kids. Yan on the front desk is also amazing and so helpful. Too many other staff to mention as they are all great. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this hotel and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you.

We have just spent 8 nights in a one bedroom Horizon Club Suite at the Shangri-la Dubai. Everything was absolutely fantastic — the service, the dining, the room, the facilities, the location. As frequent international travellers we can say, without hesitation, that this hotel is truly first class. Special mention must be made of the incredible staff and the feeling of welcome at this hotel. 5 stars all around. Thank you for an outstanding experience.

Everything was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and the staff very helpful and friendly. However, I would suggest some nice music at the swimming pool. Current music was boring and does not give you the feeling of enjoying the swim or setting at the pool bar. Not all people want to have a tan and sleep. Breakfast was good but because we stayed for 5 days it was repeatative.

It was really a lovely 3 nights stay and I enjoyed the hospitality. I was given early checked in which is getting rarer in hotels these days and also an upgrade. Breakfast was excellent. One suggestion — housekeeping knocks on doors quite early at times. When one is on holidays and given the fact that in Dubai most activities goes on late into the night, clients might have an urge to sleep late. My I this suggest at check-in to request clients to give daily timings for making up rooms? Or the earliest time clients would like their rooms doors to be knocked At times also the full bathroom toiletries were not put. I am sure it's just a small reminder needed. I guess this happened because rooms were cleaned whilst I was in the room. A bit of timing issues.

Room is excellent, good standard and clean. Breakfast very good. Internet very good. Staff very good. Pool area is a little small for the size of the hotel, many guests eat, drink and smoke in the pool. Some other guest are quite obnoxious and the staff are scared to confront them. Such as 3 men sat at the swim up bar with their own sound player, playing their own music loudly which clashed with the hotel music. Staff would not say anything even though I complained. At breakfast children are ignored by their parents and left running around and climbing all over the seating. Again staff too scared to say anything. And small children running around and jumping in the pool as their parents sat on a watched as the life guard constantly tried to stop these children for their own safely. Staff are very courteous but the hotel needs to not be scared to confront guests when they are clearly over stepping the mark and effecting other guests experience.

What an amazing place it is to spend your money. Luxury at its best. Right from the ambience from once you enter the hotel to the staff who greets you with extreme hospitality. The rooms are crafted as an artist crafts his Masterpiece everything is at its place and nothing looks out of order or unnecessary. The gymnasium and the squash Court are as per the Global standards and met with extreme luxury. Same goes for the tennis court and swimming pool nicely clean hygienic and actually makes up your mood to participate. I am not an authorized or appointed Google reviewer. But I am sharing my experience and promise you your hard earned money will give you all your money worth. PS: Sorry for less pictures. Next time surely will.

The service and staff are amazing! Starting from the airport pick-up (although it is an additional charge) all the way to the check-in process, we were very well taken care of. The location is within walking distance to a few coffee shops (including a Starbucks) and fast-food places. It is also a short taxi ride to the Dubai Mall. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the mall but we didn't get a chance to try that out. The room was nice, clean, and had a great view. It's definitely worth the price and I can't wait to go back and stay there again.

The rooms was pretty good and we were impressed with rest of the service except the breakfast as each time we had to wait for more 30 min to get a table. The hotel should have proper capacity to accommodate the guest at breakfast and I have found the in change of the restaurant was non cooperative and bit rude. The management should look into this and and should solve the issue. We started 14 jun 19 JUN 2018.

The staffs were well trained. Very helpful and just the best compared to many of 5 stars hoeks I have stayed, they def on top of everything. Not miss any moment to help Customers. And they were just very sincerely. I was really impressed. Cuz I had requests for my rooms and checked in eat earlier as I informed. They Did their best to give us what we need without any hesitation. The room and everything was very nice! Def would love to come back again if visiting Dubai.

All perfect. I stayed 1 week with my girlfriend and we spent really good time. We got a room with Burj Khalifa’s view at 32 floor. The view was amazing, the room clean with new furnish inside. Professional staff. I will definitely recommend your hotel.

This was our first visit to Dubai as a family & it has been a memorable one. In the beginning we were a little nervous, this being our first visit in a new country. We were greeted by friendly doormen & at the reception by Ms. Oma, who made sure we checked in with ease. After that everything was comfortable, be it the comfort & cleanliness of our room, the breakfast at the restaurant, snacks & tea at the lobby with a couple of Arabic coffee was a nice feeling of a warm welcome. Overall we were entirely satisfied including our anniversary cake. Thank you for making our stay both comfortable & memorable. The family was more than thrilled during our stay.

I shall have no hesitation in saying that this is the best hotel I have stayed in. This is exceptional! Some might say that it is costly but trust me, every penny is worth. From rooms to location to breakfast buffet every thing is 5 star. I would also say that they host the best buffet in breakfast. Staff is lovely and genuinely friendly. I stayed for 5 nights and this hotel and it's staff gave me memories of a lifetime. One suggestion to visitors, don't order food in-room, it's not up to the mark and also extremely bad for pockets. Still for other things easily make up for not-so-good in-room food, I would've rated it 10 stars if it was possible. Will surely stay here again, and again inshallah.

One of the finest hotel in the country. Unmatched food and beverage options under one roof. Excellent views from the top of the hotel with one of the best bar in the city. Rooms are great and give you a feel of real luxury with the best entities possible. People are good and always ready to help must visit if you in the city. Price point is very affordable and give you full value for money.

Service level was exceptional, every need I could have was taken care of. Food was great, rooms were wide and clean. I had an issue with the door lock but it was solved very quickly.

Stayed at the Shangri-La for a week; excellent hotel that exceeded my expectations. Great location, great hotel amenities, very friendly and helpful staff, and easy walk to the Metro Train (simple to use). This is not a budget hotel, so you will pay for the services you need — but well worth it. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is wonderful! We stayed at Shanghai-La Dubai for 8 days. We booked amazing room at the 36rd floor and we had a breathtaking view of Burj Khalifa. Our room was fantastic and huge, all staff are great and helpful. I had birthday and I had surprise in our room — birthday cake! Everything was perfect — location, staff, style and service. I feel like Queen! Thank you very much!

Had been for an product event, hotel seems to be 4 star ratings. Facilities too are very limited and not very premium for an business event. Needs improvement in the banquets infra and prediction space is very small to accommodate many people.

We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The check in manager Mohamed was wonderful. The staff of the club lounge are exceptionally good. The man who did our room was very good as well. Many thanks for a great stay, look forward to come again. ;

Good hotel. Small remark about the staff who manages the breakfast which reminds us with insistence the end times of the breakfast. A little too present for our taste!
This is not a hotel for children. Pool in the shade until about 11.30 am.

A Grand Hotel with a helpful staff to listen I highly recommend this establishment which is surely the hotel in which I will go every time I come to Dubai.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and the service outstanding. Breakfast was very good — varied and the wait for a table was never more than 5 minutes. The restaurant was incredibly good, the service was superb and the food delicious. I would happily return again.

Such a good location, my husband was on a business trip, and I was alone with both my kids. There was a 2 minute walk to the pharmacy. Near by Starbucks, a lot of restaurant, very friendly staff, nice pool. And I was upgraded. Nothing was unpleasant at all.

I think we stayed in the perfect hotel everything is fantastic here.
The staff are attentive, always available, smiling and rider. At check-in everything is detailed perfectly.
The view of the Burj Khalifa is breathtaking.
The pool side is beautiful from day to night. Be aware that from 10:00 pm the children are no longer allowed (ambiance lounge and shisha) the pool at the top is amazing but not reserved for everyone.
The breakfast is the most complete, the most impressive and the best I have experienced so far!
There are obviously all the services that are expected of such an establishment (concierge, valet, etc…)
If one has to find something to fault it would be the noise of Sheck Zayed Road but this is not due to the hotel.
In short it was perfect.

I spent only one night but I will come back in 2 weeks for vacation so my evaluation can be limited. Good atmosphere. Great support by the staff and attention to details. The room was clean and spacious but not very silent. I could listen music coming from another room during the night. Long check out procedures but very kind receptionists. I used the business center and rented a meeting room. Very good service and kind people as well.

Asking for late check out at 5pm… after few attempts, they finally let me even their rooms were quite packed that day I checked out (i was told so but not sure that was a standard reply to customer who ask for late check out or not…). Really appreciated that offer as our flight was 8 pm in the night. It did help a lot. Personally I want to thank that last person (i forgot his name at 42rd floor) I requested from him the late check out.

Less modern than other hotels in Dubai.

Wonderful customer service from start to end. And my request for a room on a high floor was graciously met and plus the room was spacious with a superb view of the sea. Even went the extra mile to prepare cake for our wedding anniversary. It is these kind of gestures that makes my stay memorable.

This was the first time my wife and I traveled internationally with our infant. We came this past November and everything was excellent, just as expected from the Shangri-la brand. I particularly want to commend the staff outside who helped us with getting cabs; unfortunately, I forgot his name, but he is Iranian and he built a great rapport. Also, the staff at the buffet downstairs were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is the best hotel if you are travelling to Dubai with infants. Excellent service, super courteous staff and huge rooms with a spectacular view. This was our first trip with our ten month old girl and what we wanted in a hotel was a place she found close to home — Shangri-La was just that. Thank you is all I can say for the fantastic treatment which ensured we made beautiful memories with our baby. Also we are definitely coming back.

Disgusting, lacks the hygiene! We went to dunes cafe on Thursday 1st of March for the dinner buffet. First, I found a hair in the hummus and I decided to keep quite. A moment later I went to the buffet to get some food and there was a cockroach walking on the food! I called the chef to show him and he took it with a tissue, they kept on apologizing to us, but I feel that I have to warn other people before heading to eat in their restaurant. I was fool enough not to call the municipality! Super disgusting!

Stayed here for the NYE. Everything was wonderful from the staff, service to the ambiance. I love how the entrance foyer always smells fantastic and fresh, perfect welcome every time we step into the hotel. The breakfast layout was amazing! So much variety and the quality of the food is great. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful hotel. Just renovated the rooms and lobby. Lovely atmosphere. Enjoy to drink in the lobby lounge a lot. There is an outdoor bar called ikandy. Lovely place for ladies night.

Even on the third visit, we like the hotel very much again. Asian ambience paired with the modern Dubai. Everything is within easy reach, Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall within sight. Nice pool to relax. Chinese cuisine at Shang Palace in the usual top quality, as well as Vietnamese and Indian restaurants as well as coffee shop. Our suite with Horizon Club access leaves nothing to be desired.

This hotel is amazing for location, style and service. We have been upgraded to a suite (apartment) with kitchen, living room, beautiful bedroom with private bathroom on the 26th floor. Top service from the receptionist to our room service, even at the Lobby.
Everything is nice and perfect in such an easy and friendly way.
You feel like a Queen and a King!
We are still here, leaving tomorrow for the Netherlands. I recommend also iKandy lounge on the 4th Floor (pool and drinks/events in the evening). Dubai has definitely stolen my heart and Shangri-la hotel. We will come back for sure

Visiting this hotel regularly not as a guest, but as a fitness club client, attending ballroom dancing classes. Staff is always polite and attentive. Rich and convenient facilities. Building stands out from other ones with its nice facade with large antique vases and palms in front.
