The room was decently clean. My room key stopped working, but that is not a big deal. There is simply not enough parking for a hotel that size. The pool was not was out of order, which was terrible because it was Memorial day weekend. Lastly, the elevator made a bang sound on two different occasions of me using it, and it had been over a year since it was inspected.

Convenient location, excellent customer service and amenities, modern layout, indoor pool and hot tub, and an appetizing breakfast spread. The employees are engaging, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. Of all the hotels in Princeton WV, this is hands down one of my favorites. You won't be disappointed.

The Wi-Fi was very bad. The pool is closed for renovation, the rest is OK. I do not know how on the other floors, but on the third window sill is made in the form of a sunbed-nice. Pity, the window does not open, you have to use ventilation.

Very nice room! Clean and comfy. When you walk into the hotel the hotel smells like it's just been mopped every time so it smells nice and clean. Non smoking and everyone is nice and helpful. I'd stay again for sure!

The room was priced well, comfortable sleeping, and this room the ac unit worked without vibrating the wall. Short on staff but staff was very congenial. Had to have at least once a day replacement key cards made to enter the room. Shorted all towels on Saturday and it was necessary to contact staff to acquire towels for the room. Parking lot in disrepair and caution is needed in parking.

Carpeting and furniture in the lobby was dirty, could use a good scrubbing. Room was clean. Booked an "accessible" room. Front desk staff placed us in a regular room — and seemed confused when I returned to the desk requesting " accessible". Accessible room was not designed very well for a wheelchair. Could not get the chair between the 2 queen beds, became a challenge. Stay was ok, but not up to the Microtel standards of other properties I have stayed. Doubtful to return.

We stayed overnight during an Easter holiday weekend trip. They were completely booked on a Thursday night, but luckily we made reservations on our Windham rewards app on the phone 7 days before our stay. The 2 queen bed room was very clean with a small refridgerator and a microwave. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower. We had a first floor room. There are 3 floors with elevators. Definitely request a 3rd floor room as we could hear every step from the guests in the room above ours. Other than that problem, we had a spotless very nice room and will stay at Microtel (on the 3rd floor) when passing through Princeton in the future.

I usually don't post negative reviews but we stayed here two nights and was really disappointed. The rooms carpets were disgusting and I found a baby sock (not one of ours) around the side of the bed. The staff was really nice except the main manager who seemed bothered by us needing towels because they only provided 2 for a double room with four people. We went to the swimming pool which had stuff floating in the bottom and the hot tub had trash (a coffee stirer) and hair floating in it. They also had no towels for the pool I had to ask for some which we waiting 20 plus minutes for. I would not recommend staying here.

The room was nice and clean, nice hot tube very small pool! We were told both nights that there was no clean towels and no towels were out at the pool and only one set in our room booked for 6 people. I was also not told about a deposit that was required at check in of $100.00 that I was not expecting and had a certain amount of cask on me for the weekend. We were in town for a wrestling tournament it was a easy drive back and forth to the tournament and staff were friendly.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Plenty of hot water. The room was a little cramped and the entire facility is kind of run down, but the staff was polite and the price was reasonable. Location was great for getting to local ski locations.

The location was nice, close to a lot of food places and things to do. The room could have been a little cleaner — an old bar of soap was left in the bathroom and we didn't have shampoo. But they were definitely nice for the price. Breakfast was pretty standard, but it was nice to have. Overall, we enjoyed our time!

Very great place for the price. Very warm and hot showers. The pool and hot tub was closed 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. So don't count on that if you plan to get in the hot tub. Room service was nice and they always gave us extra towels when needed. Recommend this place.

Clean, convenient location. Seems to be relatively new. I was kind of shocked when I saw we were the closest building to Southern Exposure. Nonetheless, breakfast was contentintal and was missing some of the usual items. Can't ask for much from continental breakfast though. Overall, good experience. I would recommend this place.

Overall the hotel was super clean, and very modern. For the price, honestly I wasn't expecting much, but I was very surprised when I arrived and was very impressed. The staff of the hotel were very nice as well. If I return, would definitely choose to stay there again.

The hotel is located just off the interstate, but there was no noise noticed from our room located on the side closest to the highway. When we checked in, the front desk person was extremely polite, welcoming and accommodating — we couldn't have had a better check-in service. We were able to use the pool/hot-tub amenity which found in good repair and functional. The hot-tub temperature was just right and the experience was relaxing. The room itself was more than adequate with plenty of space and towels for everyone. Breakfast was a nice mix of cold and hot (including waffles) with a good mix of drinks. Check out was just as easy and pleasing as check-in.

This hotel was great! We arrived into town about an hour before check in and the front desk clerk accommodated my husband and I. Great customer service. Rooms were very well cleaned and bathroom was spotless. Great for a day or three and a great value!

Very good customer service, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. We paid $72 and although it's a little pricey it was worth it. Pool was super warm, perfect for the cold weather. Hot tub was splendidly hot and both were clean. Front desk guy was a sweetheart and upgraded our room without us even asking and took his time talking with us checking us in. I've been here twice now, was just as impressed last time, and plan on returning in the future.

This was my 1st stay at a Microtel and I found it very nice. The staff was friendly, room was clean and the free breakfast was very good.

Room and bed were excellent. Way too much cleaner or something on floor in lobby was like smelling salts when walking through.

We stayed 5 nights during hurricane Irma. 1st night I ask for more towels the next morning and do not get them. 3rd day the 2nd bed was not made and I was told because I had a blanket on the bed it wouldn't be made. However, the next morning my kids left their stuffed animals on the bed and they were moved after they made the bed. Then the sheet was a balled up mess under other sheets. The ladies there were rude once informed. Will not go back unless all other hotels are booked solid and I'm homeless!

Beautiful place. Kind, friendly and warm people. Nice and clean little pool and jacuzzi to relax after an intense day. Marvelous restaurants to eat within walking distance, by the way very moderately priced. What more does one need?

The people above us ran around until the wee hours of the morning. Thump, thump, thump most of the night. I can only guess there were 2-3 children running amuck! And it was LOUD! With very little sleep it made for groggy traveling today. Ugh! I guess that wasn't Microtel's fault, however. The room itself was comfortable once we turned off the air conditioning/heating unit. It wasn't working properly…

Better than I thought it would be. The room was spacious and clean. Skip the breakfast, definitely not worth the hassle.

Excellent stop! New, clean, up to date. Friendly staff, reasonable. First timer but not the last! Lots of great dining close by. Thanks for a great stopover!

From the start everyone was extremely nice. The room was clean with modern decor. My only complaint is the beds are very firm which led to a restless night for me due to my back and neck issues. A softer bed and it would've been a 5 rating.

We have stayed here 3 times in the past. This time was the worst. The guests above and on same floor as us, were very noisy. Our room had two queen beds, one was lumpy the other was creaky when you sat or laid in it. The sheets had marks on them, like grease from bacon or butter. The breakfast consisted of bread for toast, cereal and pastries, no fruit in sight. The front desk clerk was great, fast check in and check out. We will be crossing this hotel off our list of places to stay on your journey to and from Florida.

Nice, modern accommodations. Bed and pillows were a bit hard, but nothing a good fluff couldn't fix. Clean and comfortable.

The price is great, the room has all the essentials you need and nothing else which is perfect if your only going to be there a couple days. The concierge was a sweet woman very nice, and accommodating.

The rooms were clean, and comfortable. Only argument I could raise is that there was a cockroach in it. Just one. I killed it. No worries otherwise.

We were attending a NASCAR race at Bristol so the distance was more or less what was available at the time. It was not a bad drive to and from the track though. Room was nice and clean. The refrigerator seemed to be not functioning properly as it was turned to max and not all that cold. One morning I used the swimming pool which was small but usable. Fairly shallow at 5 feet at the deepest but nice and refreshing. The hot tub was nice for a quick dip. While I did not use it there was also a small exercise room off of the pool area. The continental breakfast was typical of most with juice and coffee, yogurt, toast, light pastries and of course the famous automatic waffle maker. The staff were quite friendly and courteous. Minimal outlets in the room made charging multiple devices (phones, cameras etc. A bit of a chore). All in all a very nice hotel and I would stay there again.

Room was on the first floor, found my room floor to be lumpy, seemed a little strange. Nice room otherwise. The breakfast area furniture seemed rather old for such a new location. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Pretty good, asked for blanket and is basically a military blanket that is rough, tough, and uncomfortable.

I wish there was a thermostat in the room instead of the wall unit so I could set a temperature instead of having to let it run all night long. I also wish there was some kind of protein with the breakfast like eggs and sausage instead of all carbs. But the front desk was friendly and the price was good. For a quick overnight I would stay again.

Indoor pool was too cold to use, even for my battle hardened kids. Place was not clean nor well maintained. Toilet paper holder was missing in bathroom. Breakfast consisted of hard mini-bagels and two choices of bulk cereal. Next to a strip club. You've been warned. Much better options at this interchange.

Very pleased — extremely clean in general, our room was well appointed and on-par with (if not actually nicer than, in some ways! ) other much more expensive hotels we have stayed at in the past. Staff was polite and professional. Breakfast was compact but certainly adequate, well stocked, and clean. We will be returning to the Microtel chain, unbeatable for the price we paid.

I should warn you a serious incident at the Microtel Inn Princeton that happened a few days ago. I was bitten several times by bedbugs while staying there. I noticed a line of bites on my foot, arm and face. I did not think anything like this would happen to us, but then several bugs crawl over my pillow. I lifted my pillow and found several more bugs. I jumped out of bed at 5 am and told my family we were leaving the hotel. I am still suffering and could not sleep last few nights.

Last minute check in. Pool and hot tub are small but just fine. Staff at desk had good customer service. ~$69 + tax for 2 adults and 1 child (11yrs old). Small room but standard for Microtel. In an area with many other hotels and food places; right off highway. Continental breakfast 6:00-9:30am. Nice wireless; access points through out property. Next morning update: continental breakfast was quite basic, but okay. Check time: 11:50am. Weird but okay by me.

I walked in to a foyer that somebody had just been smoking in (no other entrance). The clerk at the check-in desk was arguing w/her boyfriend who had a cigarette in his hand. The room was okay though the walls are paper thin you can hear the other room with ease. I listened to a guy snore all night. I had to turn air condition down to keep it running so the snoring wouldn't keep me awake. There was some unwelcome hair on the top of the bed as well. People should only being paying $25 for this hotel.

The motel was clean and bright. The staff was courteous and friendly. I became ill and the front desk went out of their way to make me comfortable while my husband made arrangements to repair the car, including letting me stay after check out time. The price and location are also great.
