Pathetic staff, was denied stay at hotel inspite of confirm booking done with full payment. Booked thru Agoda, staff clearly denied saying no booking in my name. Had to look for another hotel at 3am in the morning. Wud not recomment this hotel and Agoda to anybody. Manager M Dhanasekhar is one rude man, very unhelpful. Need refund from Agoda.

Small compact rooms for a short stay. Prime location and reasonable cleanliness. Beds covers are stained. A pipe connected in the bathroom was leaking constantly. Helpful staff.

The room I stayed in was a non-AC one (should've gotten an AC one! It was May! ). The room was fine with the usual. But there was a smell in the bathroom that just wouldn't go away (it was either from the exhaust duct or the toilet connection). The hotel is situated in a nice locality with plenty of eating options around.

No car park. You have to ask them for everything including bed sheets, towels where I stayed one night without all these. You can prefer this place as last option.

Really really really really really really bad. The employees act way to smart, they say something and charge something, you can get better accommodation elsewhere at the same price with better ambience.

Few days back I came to Chennai for my mothers treatment in Adyar. We booked the hotel and checked in. We were here for 5 days as d Hospital check up was regular. As we entered we were welcomed with a bright smile by the Manager Mr Danesh and also he was speaking fluent Hindi so we were very comfortable. There was 2 more person Gobind and Chotu. Both were very helpful. As my mother had high diabetes she cudnot eat anything in d city. She use to prefer only Phulka (roti). The staffs were so kind tat they used to make sure to get phulka frm anywhr and provide us. As mom and me were alone and new in the city it was difficult for us to search for food tat we wanted to have. Later … understanding our situation the staffs themselves started preparing food for us in the hotel. And it felt like home to us for which they charged a minimal amount. My mum was vry happy. I haven’t seen any hoteliers going so much extra miles to make their guests comfortable. They were very friendly and very helpful. Being a 2 star hotel they provide a service more than expectations. I found the hotel clean and well maintained. Also to mention the manager who used to b wid evry staff while cleaning or room service jst to make sure evrything is perfectly done or not. He himself used to do d work at times inorder to teach them properly. The hotel is the good location. Ro water and Wi-Fi available. Affordable price. The only drawback is there is no lift.

I booked this hotel using Redbus. The most good part of this hotel is that its checkin time is flexible and its cheap for one day stay. The service given by Govind Nayak was too good. Recommending others to travel here.

S4 residency is a strategic place in Adyar for you to enjoy the city. It's close to many good restaurants (believe me, you'll like South Indian food as I do), walk distance from the beaches and temples, and a cinema (you can't miss Tamil's movie when you're here). Danesh, the manager was really helpful. We got several room problems fixed in no time! Was a great stay at S4 residency!

Easy to locate. Rooms lack some essential amenities but very moderately priced. Have extensive scope for improvement. Staff are able to speak Hindi and English.

One night stay on 9/1/2018. Two non-ac rooms, Rs. 950 per room (makemytrip). This hotel is situated in the main road side near the Jayanthi signal, thiruvanmiyur and is very easy to find. When we reached at the hotel (around 2pm), nobody was there in the reception. After waiting in the reception for 5 minutes, one hotel staff came and he gave us two rooms, one in the first floor and another in the second. When asked for two adjacent rooms, he said those were the only non-ac rooms available at that time. Then he took us to the first floor room, but it was already occupied! All of us waited in the second floor room for around 10 minutes, then he came back and gave us the adjacent room (an ac room without ac remote controller). The rooms were looking new and neat on the first look and we didn't examine it thoroughly at that time. Later at night, we found that the toilet was not properly cleaned and the bed sheets had many stains in it. In one of the rooms, loud noise was coming from the fan and water was not coming properly from the bathroom tap. When complained, the receptionist said that water would come in 10 minutes. We took bath using shower and slept, but in the morning also, that tap had the same issue. Complained again, staff came to the room, checked the tap, told us that there was some block somewhere and offered us another room. We didn't shift as we were planning to check out around 11 am and shifting to another room would be tedious. Tv was working fine.

Though it looks very normal as like other local lodges from outside… We felt very comfortable inside than we expect…

The rooms are quite good (for India). The reception was staffed by a nice staff member. In front of the hotel you will find everything your heart desires within a radius of about 50m, from pizza (Dominos) to Indian cuisine (hot chips). If you have to spend a day in Chennai due to onward flight, you should take a look at the hotel (it is only 10 km to the airport).

Best service I ever had, room is good. Location is also good. Staff service and behaviour is excellent. I missed my sim card in the room, one day after my checkout I informed the manager Mr. Danashekar about the same, and he was so kind that he even went further to check the garbage bins to find my sim.

It was super hotel nd good service nd good manitance and we enjoyed.

The staff is very helpful and supportive. Rooms, food and service everything was perfect. They helped in each and evry possible way they can. Would recommend this place for stay.

I stayed there for one day. Room was quite clean and the behavior of the staff was very polite and supportive. I checked in at 03:00 Hrs and checked out at 02:00 Hrs. I asked the manager to arrange for a Cab at 02:00 Hrs for Airport and the cab was at Hotel at 01:45 Hrs. The Hotel has RO facility so that you need not to loose money on Water Bottles. The location is in the market and you can buy whole lot of stuff there only. Good restaurants are very near to it. Also the pricing was very competitive to other accommodation nearby.

Cleanliness and Room service upto the mark. Very quite environment. Safe and secured place for family boarding. One small request. Change the flavour of room spray… Otherwise every awesome.

Rooms: Worth the money (1500₹ for A/C) Wi-Fi working fine. No windows. Staff is good. Overall, U can say it is a pretty good budget hotel.

Not bad for the price. The rooms have no windows except one for the hallway no services available or Wi-Fi. The manager and workers are friendly and helpful. The ground floor has a salon, clothing store, xerox shop etc. There are plenty of restaurants close by and also a theater nearby. Very convenient place.

Normal hotel with ac rooms are 1800rupees for two and non ac room for rupees 1200. Located in main part on thiruvanmiyur near to theaters and it park.
