Great central location; we walked and/or took the monorail to all attractions.

Our recent stay was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is great. Two employees who stood out above the rest were David (reception desk) and Esubalew (valet/bell stand). These two young men are truly representative of the Marriott brand and exhibit genuine and remarkable customer service and courtesy. They deserve the highest recognition! Thank you, David, for kindly extending our checkout time (something that the young asian woman who checked us in on Aug 1 was not willing to accomodate) and thank you Esubalew for your constant smile, kind demeanor and authentic service!

Friendly staff and beautiful lobby. They gave us "free" parking however it was not free. We paid $50 more per night than most. The bathroom had a faint urine smell that lingered out of the sliding bathroom doors. The bedding smelt like mold and the pillows suck — for lack of better words.

Just to listened Justin Kausal-Hayes live in the 515 lounge and thoroughly enjoyed it. Laid back and easy. Great service from the whole staff and would definitely come back. Easy access to everything I planned to visit.

I stopped by the Renaissance hotel to have a quick business lunch with a colleague. I found the staff to be very prompt and professional. The service was great! I ordered the pastrami sandwich and was not disappointed. Portions were plentiful and the prices very reasonable. I would certainly eat here again.

Great hotel in the business district. Although it's next to the highway, you really don't get the highway sounds. It's also adjacent to the famous Seattle public library. The rooms are spacious and in great shape. The concierge lounge is beautiful with a stunning view. The food is on par with other Rennaissance hotels. Good staff. The gym is really nice too.

I did not stay overnight at the hotel. I did have lunch and dessert. Everything was great. Food was good. Dining room was clean and pretty. The staff was very friendly, helpful and well groomed.

Escalator was broken, but they fixed it while I was there. Tea selection not bad, but they never replaced the apparent popular one. Food was good, but no desserts. Temperature control in the event room was really cold and desire attempts to fix it, remained cold. That's pretty much it for the negative. Otherwise, it was a decent place. Bathrooms are clean and modern, good service employees, and actually good pricing on parking.

This hotel is run pretty well and is quite clean. The rooms were spacious and well kept. It is also more or less centrally located for a good amount of attractions and a short walk to the water. Overall the hotel was great and provided a good experience.

Hotel was amazing. Everything is in walking distance. Rooms are nice and big. The beds are super comfortable, not soft at all. Loved the hotel. Just know that it is a nice walk to Pike Market. There are loads of steep hills around the hotel.

Has nice staff greeting you. Hotel and rooms are decent. Bar was good and served awesome martinis. Here is where they fell short, food is gross. Went to restaurant and had chicken. 25 bucks for the cheapest part of the chicken. We only eat white meat and my mother and I didnt like it. I forced mine down, but she barely touched hers. Her meal wasnt removed from the bill, and was offered a glass of wine or dessert to make up for it! Seriously? Wow, the thighs were 25 bucks and you offer something free that is worth a 3rd? Way to make it right Renaissance. Also… please remove it from the menu! I'd have to say, I've stayed at Renaissance in Ft Lauderdale, Palm Desert and Phoenix… all were wonderful. This is just… ok. I feel ripped.

We stayed there during a weekend trip to Seattle, and really enjoyed the room. The building is pretty close to a lot of things (food, especially). About a 12 minute walk to the pike place market. Free street parking isn't easy to find around, but the lady working the front desk said that street parking isn't generally enforced in the area, on Saturdays. The are was super safe — we parked around three nights without problems, and also walked around the area during the night, without trouble. The hotel is mostly a business hotel, so it's kinda quiet during the weekends, which was nice too. The restaurant staff was alright — one of them was super friendly, but the other one was a bit meh. Internet connection was good and free (if you have a Marriott membership, which itself is free). Good house keeping, clean mattress and sheets and towels. Good toiletries. Would stay again.

Amazing… The wife and I left the kids with family and took a night off for ourselves. Man, what a great choice. The staff was super accomodating, the gal who checked us in seemed to "get" why we were there and I cant say for sure but we ended up in a room that felt MUCH nicer than what I thought I had paid for. This gal even called us after a little while to ask what we thought of the view which given we were in a corner spot gave us at least a 90degree panoramic view between the waterfront at one end and the Space Needle at the other. Pretty much blew my expectations out of the water. Thanks for the memories.

For the casual overnight stay in the city, I can't say enough about the Renaissance. My wife and I stayed for the night on Friday and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The workers were kind and professional and the views are some of the best you could find in the city on the higher floors.
I recommend the ADA suite on the 26th floor facing the needle!

A nice hotel. I visited Seattle during a Sounders game and stayed for the weekend. The two nights I stayed I slept well on comfortable beds and had access to internet TV through the Hotel's television. I did not take advantage of the room service or the continental breakfast, which was available. Affordable parking in the area with elevators from the roof to the Hotel's parking garage. There was a set of escalators to the basement floor where there were what looked like several conference rooms and some corner seating to lounge. I took advantage of one of the nooks to turn a few pages while my comrades slept through the early hours of the morning. The decor was nice but nothing really special. The hotel had a decent layout with a discrete staff that did not disturb me while I read. The staff also, did not disturb the gentleman who appeared he had a midnight fight with his significant other (sleeping on two chairs) which I appreciated. I would probably stay again.

Great hotel. Not much around for food it's a walk from the Pier and main attractions. The steep parking lot is less than ideal under the hotel not recommended for trucks. Height restrictions are 6 foot 1 if I recall and not good for low cars as it's entrances are tight. The bar inside has decent late night meals good drinks and rooms are good. Rating reflects entire experience. Hotel service itself is 4 out of 5

Very friendly staff! Beautiful and Clean. I was there for a seminar and the continental breakfast was very good quality. The restaurant in the hotel was also very good place to eat lunch. Excellent service.

Celebrated my boyfriends 30th birthday here! We got an amazing room with a view of the space needle and the water! They had great food and drinks! We were bummed that the lounge was closed on the weekend seemed like a weird time to have that closed but the hotel bar was still open!

Spacious room and good food. Room price is Good and food price was a little higher than expected. Room Wi-Fi is not free, the bathroom is very basic (no steam fan just a vent, room gets stuffy pretty easily). Parking lot is tight and narrow, drove me crazy that I was driving in the left lane. Elevator access from car parking was decent. Overall won't choose again but if the others nearby are full I can survive.

Absolutely beautiful view from the freeway side. That side also has the quietest rooms (double-paned glass). There was an awesome drag ball that happened to be here when I was staying. Made me happy. Sleek, modern hotel. Space in the rooms. Bar.

I had flowers delivered to the front desk and the hotel discretely kept them cool until I had a chance to prep the room. The hotel staff was excellent at dealing with my special requests and not giving the surprise away. In the end she said yes. Also, the location was wonderful and you can easily walk down hill to the core shopping district. I'm sure we will be staying there again. Thank you so much!

Everything was beautiful and close to everything.

The decorations are fantastic. The vibe and feel of the place is great. The rooms are good. I would definitely stay here again. The best part though is definitely the hot cider available in the lobby.

Barely OK for a Marriot experience. Breakfast offering was limited and very cafeteria like. Rooms were clean and well kept. Television channels limited and in room coffee was lousy (mind you this is in Seattle). The concierge lounge was closed one night and used for an event the other so that was also another perk we missed out on over a weekend. So many choices in Seattle, you can do better for the same amount of money.

Stayed here when in Seattle for a meeting. Loved the friendliness of every staff member I came across. One of the best feature was the ample availability of power outlets next to the beds as well as the desk. In this day and age, too many hotels ignore the need for power outlets and the ability to charge multiple devices. One more cool amenity (specially for business travelers) — the overnight shoeshine service. Just put your shoes in a bag and notify housekeeping before 9 pm and get your shoes all spruced up by 8 am the next day. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would love to stay here again!

Really disappointed this time! We have been here several times and had a great experience, but this time is very underwhelming. We booked early reservation for 1:00 which didn't happen, the Romance package was supposed to come with chocolate covered strawberries but instead came with the tiniest chocolate box the size of an engagement ring box. We special ordered sparkling cider instead of wine because we don't drink alcohol & instead wine & the microscopic chocolates were delivered. We have always enjoyed having room service for dinner & this time there is a very limited "a la carte dine in. Dine out" menu. As they say, "It's the little things" that make all the difference.

This is a great place to host a conference. The conference area is easy to get to from the lobby but out of the way so you won't have random people strolling through your event. Although I did not organize the event and only helped run it, the staff had everything taken care of and it went off without a hitch. There is a large lobby for mingling in between presentations and an area that can be sectioned off in at least 3 sections. Great location right off the freeway with some affordable weekend lot parking less than 3 blocks away. Only a 5-7 minute walk from the Link. I would definitely recommend this location for a conference or event.

We loved staying here. It was very centrally located and just 15 minutes from the airport. The service was amazing from check-in to check-out. I'm a Marriott Gold member and the Club Lounge was fantastic. We have our 1 year old boy with us and one of the hostesses working in the Lounge went out of her way to get him a high chair and bring him a banana. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Within walking distance to most of Seattle's top attractions, this beautiful hotel is perfect for your family or business trip. Comfortable beds, exquisite dining, and friendly staff are just a few perks of this wonderful hotel. The fitness center is very clean (as is the entire hotel) with up-to-date equipment. I highly recommend this hotel. :)

The staff of this Renaissance hotel we're fabulous. Hotel is clean, and I loved their pub! It was very comfortable to just stroll in, tell the bar manager that I wanted a Reuben sandwich and a beer, and have it delivered within minutes. I understand that the restaurant was under renovation such that they were improvising with a temporary space, but even so, they had the delivery figured out. The cleaning staff were superb, and quite flexible about working around my comings and goings, sometimes in my costume. I know these folks worked hard accommodating the convention while I was there. When I return to Seattle, I'll likely want to stay here again.

This hotel is is a good (not great) location for exploring the city. The accommodations are great the room was very clean the and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. I was able to walk to everywhere I wanted to go, but on my next visit I might try to stay somewhere a little bit more centrally located. I didn’t eat at the restaurant or drink at the bar, so I can’t offer any recommendations there, but it’s a short walk to Pike Place Market.

Great newly renovated hotel in downtown Seattle. The club lounge (for Gold and Plat elites and open to the public weekend nights) on the top floor provides a breath stunning view of Seattle. The standard king rooms are big, comfortable and newly updated for a great modern feel.

Everything about my hotel stay here was wonderful. The staff was pleasant. The room was comfortable and they were even able to get us extra pillows. The 515 had a great breakfast buffet as well. Will look forward to starting again.

The service was awesome. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and the food was very good. The beds, however. Horrible. My entire group woke up multiple times throughout the night complaint of back pain. The mattresses were extremely hard. The hotel tries to make up for it with the soft bed linens, but alas. It's like sleeping on the floor.

I travel all over the US and Canada, and have been to many Marriott properties. This one is in my top 10 due to the location and very friendly staff. The concierge level is well appointed, with fantastic views of the city. The corner suites are perfect for longer stays, as they have a separate bedroom. Aveda products are a nice upgrade from what you normally find in hotels, and the linens are clean and fresh. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay here and will be returning.

Great location in Seattle within walking distance of Pikes Place Market. Staff is friendly and rooms are generally spacious even with double beds. If you have a feather allergy, they have a feather-free floor. Room service and restaurant food is pretty good. Concierge lounge on top floor has nice views (you can see the Needle) and a full service bar. Garage can be a little difficult to park in for bigger cars, but valet parking is an option if you don't want to deal with it.

I'm an employee of another hotel in the city, there was a plumbing issue at my house yesterday so we needed to last second book into a hotel overnight. The front desk woman was super nice and helpful! Room was clean and nice, no complaints, would happily stay again!

Rooms were nice, but the hotel staff didn't make it to my floor by the time I got off work. The restrooms were small, I've seen better at Holiday Inns. Towels were like scrub pads. Staff was super friendly. I did have one major issue, which was automated calls at night. I got woke up 6 times in two days.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Hotwire picked it for us and we couldn't be anymore happy with the choice. The decor is impeccable and the rooms are comfortable and modern. The staff is accommodating and hospitable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back next time I come visit!

What a wonderful hotel. From the moment of arrival to the departure I can not fault this place. It's a nice place to work as all the staff are happy. I was watching the night staff sweep the floor and how he moved that broom he was enjoying himself. The food is extraordinary and I honestly do not have one bad word about this place. Wow what a hotel. Should be rated 10 stars.

Beautiful, well-apportioned hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. It sits one block off of I-5 but you can't even hear it. You are also 5 blocks from the waterfront, but be aware — Seattle's hills are legendary for a reason! If you go down, prepare yourself for the hike back uphill. The fitness center is full of great equipment. Staff is polite and attentive. Desk area in the room is spacious. One weird thing is there isn't a dresser. Still, it is a conveniently located hotel with a ton of plusses.

A very great experience checked in to this hotel. It is placed in the city and very accessible to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed and very clean room and bathroom. And a very nice view from top especially when your room is in the upper part. Very helpful staff and accommodating.

I'm currently working here and this hotel is amazing! Perfect fit for every ones needs! Open to all people of all classifications. Very warm and welcoming. The staff is wonderful, and being transgender… This job has made me feel like family in such a short time. A beautiful space for a conference, almost in the middle of the city center and also the water.

Great hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. If you have a large car it is harder for them to part it in there garage so it will take longer for you to get it back. The breakfast is great, on the top flora so you can everything. Altogether a good hotel.

The hotel itself is very nice. If you're a gold member you get upgraded to free warm breakfast on the 2nd floor restaurant. They have live music at night. Great views of the city. Knocking down two stars because of the lack of insulation — both sound and walls. The hotel is next to a freeway and the freeway noise never stops. I could hear the guy next door snoring like we were sharing a room (and that was disconcerting). Great view of the city on the 28th floor in their gold and platinum member lounge. Oh and free starbucks throughout the day. If it weren't for the bad insulation it would be a 5 star hotel. All other amenities are simply amazing.

Hotel is clean, we'll maintained and up to date. My room was very big and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Valet guys were great! Gave good restaurant suggestions, parking advice for sightseeing, etc… Parking at the hotel is Valet or self park, upwards of $30. I parked on the bridge (street) by the hotel for $4 per hour. Paid $8 in the 2 nights I was there. … There's always street parking available at night, even when I got in at 11pm. The homeless population in Seattle is out of control but there were none by the hotel. Construction is also a huge part of the landscape of Seattle but it didn't affect me at all.

Fantastic hotel. Modern stylings, very clean. I feel like in this day and age Wi-Fi should be free in every hotel. The prices they charged were unwarranted, but this wouldn't deter me from staying there again.

The location is right near down town and just around all the major buildings. Perfect as it was near everything everyone needs. The room was great and the service was outstanding. Club lounge provides some appetizer dishes with a great breakfast spread. Overall I would stay again and again.

Very nice hotel in great location. Our room was quite small but who cares really. We spent little time there anyway. The staff was easy and nice and our booking included parking in a nearby garage. Simple and effective. We got a nice deal as well, so we are very happy with our stay.

Enjoyed saying at this hotel. Super close to most Seattle attractions and the rooms seemed well insulated because we had our music going with no complaints. Somehow that's always important to me when going to have fun in Seattle. Only thing I don't like is the parking situation, but Seattle is just plain expensive for parking.

Pros: The rooms are clean, and they have great TVs. The lobby is calming and the staff is always friendly. Across the street from the Courthouse and the library. Cons: Wi-Fi is not free. The beds are weird, sit on the edge and the springs collapse inward half the time. The rooms are nowhere near soundproof; we could hear our neighbor's kid having a tantrum and the sirens and construction outside. The bathrooms are lacking for a lux hotel. It's about six blocks to the convention center down a pretty steep hill. Housekeeping comes around ridiculously early.

Nice, clean, quiet, and good location. Local traffic is nuts and one way street mazes abound however. Rooms are a tiny bit small and no free Wi-Fi.

Allowing pets and being pet friendly are two different things at this hotel. No pet beds, no bowls, no amenities at all. They wouldn't even give me a bowl for water without ordering room service and it was late on Sundayso no place was open to even get something. This is the only pet friendly hotel in Seattle that is four stars and not providing these basic things. When I requested a room upgrade, they told me no suites were available which I hardly believe. I even offered to pay for the upgrade and they were not even slightly helpful. I asked for a glass for water for my pet and they didn't even have the min the lobby where the water cooler was and didn't offer to get one when I told the front desk. They won't even refund my second night do I can go stay somewhere that is accommodating. I will speak with the manager in the morning, but this place is the worst hotel and this is the second time I've stayed here and last time I swore never to do it again. 5years later and using Priceline jogged my memory why I swore off both of them the last terrible trip I stayed here.

I visit this location for work on a weekly basis. The room is always clean nd the staff friendly. Room service has been good as well. The best part is the location, right off the interstate so you save 10 minutes drikng rush hour. The lounge on the 28th floor is great and fully stocked with snacks. The view is great when the sun is out.

Bed was a bit too soft for my taste. No in-room free Wi-Fi, what a shame. The rest are all good. (Room is clean, TV was good with lots of channels, helpful operator)

Had lunch at the Delia was average are best. I was expecting sandwiches not wrap/asian food. Wrap was ok not satisfied will not be going back.

Visited for an event hosted in their ballroom. Building staff were pleasant and capable, and the in house catering was excellent. Generally high class facility. Parking was convenient despite downtown Seattle location. Nice choice of cocktails in the bar after.

Had a great stay at the Renaissance. Gym was nice too. Paid for parking one day and then parked on the street the next to save the expense. Room was spacious and view was nice. Would stay again.

Although the Concierge Pounce was closed for the week during our stay here, they offered us free breakfast at their restaurant, Max's, which was nice. The hotel is located on a hill which let's you have great views of the city from your room. The rooms were really nice and included a mini fridge. The staff was friendly and overall this is a really nice place to stay.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. They truly go above and beyond in making you feel are welcomed when you stay at this property. Thank you Joon for the room upgrade during our stay. The only down side to this property is that if your walking its on one of the steeper hills in downtown Seattle. Be prepared for a very brisk walk to and from this property. Aside from that, they really do take of their guests! I can't wait to return to the hotel.

Excellent service, great food at the bar. The room was spacious and very clean. Hotel staff were very helpful when it came to local sight seeing and restaurant recommendations. Very pleased overall.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Well located, and probably a step up from most hotels in the area. My only complaint is simply that it's overpriced for what you get: a room with a bed. The real kicker is that they make you pay for Wifi on top of paying for the overpriced room. Airbnb offers a much better value these days.

It deserves no stars. Very expensive, it charges for internet, no breakfast, they did not clean our room and the concierge was not friendly when we tried to extend our staying. Definitely look for other options in Seattle, do not pick this hotel.

It wasn't the worst hotel ever. My major gripe was the fact that parking cost $42 plus a tax of $9.24 daily. That's a total of $51.24 daily to park at a place I am already paying to stay at. Also there is no pool or Jacuzzi.

Not good $41 just to park. And the people that work here are very rude. And the hotel is right above the freeway so it is way to loud to sleep.

Awesome hotel. Had a great night sleep! The room was nice, new and clean and the staff at the front desk were super friendly even giving me a free room upgrade when I booked online. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Be aware though parking is $40 and $48 for valet.

Place is expensive. Tv's don't work properly. Got more out of any motel I've been to.

They thought I was booked for 4 nights when really my travel agent booked 5. Had to show them my online receipt to prove it. Then they said "well I just hope no one else shows up needing a room. " Room was dirty, had blood on the comforter, and one morning while eating breakfast on the second floor they gave me a napkin that wasn't washed. Still had someone else's food in it from when they wiped their mouth. Never going back to this hotel, I think their hygiene needs to be checked on. Oh, and a $13 fee for internet is a joke.

Stayed here with my husband for one night for a "staycation". The location is great, close to Capital Hill and downtown. We walked to dinner and easily took inexpensive cab/Uber rides to our other destinations. The outside has scaffolding on it, but the inside was all very new and updated. The room showed a little bit of wear and tear but nothing that affected our stay. We were on the 15th floor and had a great view of the mountains, stadiums, sky line, Puget Sound and Lake Union. Beautiful corner room. Staff was all very helpful and polite. Complaints: I told my husband I was only hoping for 3 things out of our night away from the kids — relative quiet, a comfy bed and black out shades. Two out of three I got. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet but the curtains did not block the light. Summer in Seattle means we woke up at 5am with the sun. Would really have appreciated better curtains in the bedroom. We also we to the R Bar on the 28th floor. We were told it would be open until midnight. At 1030 we were told to finish our beers, it was last call, they then began shutting down around us and turning people away. It was a minor thing but it made us feel rushed and like we were inconveniencing them. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to others coming to Seattle and looking for a downtown location.

This is our second time staying here. First time was in January for Maroon 5. Then the TV didn't work. Parking was expensive. This time and I'm currently in the room, TV (different room) doesn't work (no sound and it keeps scrambling). Water it is either hot or hotter than the sun. Not what I want when brushing my teeth. Just gotten ill for parking. $30 plus another $9 parking tax! Oh and there was no where to park so we HAD to Valet it! What the hell? I don't think we will stay here again. Can be a great place, but needs some changes! Look around they aren't the only game in town. So disappointed.

I recently stayed here while attending a training. I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews but have to say that my overall stay was very nice. The folks working at reception were very helpful and friendly, the concierge gave an excellent recommendation for dinner, the server at the restaurant was extremely attentive, and the cleaning staff was so nice and accomodating. If there is a downfall to this beautiful hotel it would be the traffic noise on the highway side of the hotel. If you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs. Traffic noise asside though. Awesome.
