We loved every moment of our stay at Friday Harbor Grand. The owner Farhad is an amazingly talented person. The gourmet breakfasts were divine and the classical piano concerts every evening a true delight. We will never stay anywhere but here. Thank you for the opportunity to be a guest and enjoy your gorgeous and cozy inn.

Our stay at Friday Harbor Grand was wonderful. Farhad made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Farhad played the piano in the evening and that was also amazing. Roxie was just an added bonus. The location was perfect for a nice stroll to town. You can’t go wrong here. I hope to return again next year as well.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Friday Grand Harbor B&B. Farhad is an incredible host, chef and entertainer! The rooms are comfortable and very clean and the food is delicious! I would highly recommend a stay here!

What an amazing stay. Farhad was an amazing host. Rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable. Every morning the breakfast was a new beyond delicious experience created from backyard garden and eggs. Almost everything served was homemade. At night, Farhad entertained us with a classical piano concert. We could not have asked for more. Definitely will stay again.

Farhad, the host, made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we walked up. Breakfast was amazing, prepared with most of the ingredients coming fresh from his garden. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely be checking availability at the Friday Harbor Grand next time we stay at the islands.

Very lovely B&B in the heart of Friday Harbor. This place is wonderfully located within short walking distance to everything you may want to visit in Friday Harbor. They have private parking (and electric vehicle charging spot) so getting around the island and parking are a breeze from here. Farhad was our host and was very welcoming and hospitable from the moment we arrived. He recommended some restaurants and gave some advice in how best to explore the island. He plays his beautiful Steinway piano and bakes fresh cookies nightly for his guests, and even brought some to our door. The breakfast he prepared for us the following morning was well rounded and carefully prepared. Fresh fruits (many local), pumpkin spice pancakes, a hearty and flavorful egg dish (can't recall the name), juices, bread, coffee, and much more. It's a Family style breakfast so you can chat with some of the other visitors. Or you can sit alone. Our room (Evergreen Suite) was extremely clean with everything you might need, certainly more than you would find in an equally priced hotel. Farhad pays attention to the details, and I respect that. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family visiting San Juan Island.

Incredible host, farm to table, organic gluten-free cooking, comfortable beds and spacious suites. Fresh baked cookies and incredible breakfast included in the price. Each evening, Farhad plays a classical piano concert for evening entertainment — wine optional. Many thanks from these weary travelers — we can't wait to return!

Farhad was a great host. We enjoyed hearing the history of the island and he gave us many options for places and things to do while there. Breakfast was great too!

Very pretty place — inside and out! Breakfast was very good and our host was extremely accommodating in his sharing of eating places, places to go, and his talent on the piano. We hope to return again someday!

Had a lovely weekend getaway-stay at the Friday Harbor Grand. Farhad is a superb host, so kind and accommodating. He is really informed about the island and all the places to visit and try. We brought our big dog with us, and had no trouble getting a pet-friendly room. The room and common areas were so clean and beautiful and comfortable. Farhad treats his guests to the piano in the evenings which was a lovely bonus to finish off each day. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed at the Friday Harbor Grand 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was the perfect mix of relaxation, great food, welcoming accommodations, exploring advice and excitement. The nightly piano concert that Farhad spoils his guests with is a classical mix complete with short historical vignettes that allowed us to feel like the composers were kicked back sharing a drink and their stories with us right there centuries later. We will be back for this and the breakfasts, cookies and peaceful break from chaotic schedules! Also, Roxi (mini Aussie Shepherd) misses us I think. :)

The musical genius of the loving owner, whom plays classical heart piano lovelies every night for guests, the smell & taste of home made cookies and bread is like a magical Garden for your soul. Beautiful, classy & classical. Friday Harbor's true flavor.

Our stay at the Friday Harbor Grand was amazing! It was our first trip to the San Juans, but definitely not our last.
Farhad was an awesome host. Cooking gourmet breakfasts each morning and delivering fresh cookies or scones to our room every evening. His knowledge of the island and what, where, when to go and see things is greatly appreciated.
Farhad is an accomplished pianist and delights his guests with a mini concert with wine each night.
Our room (Garden suite) was very nice and spacious. Truly enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing time staying at The Friday Harbor Grand. Our gracious host, the owner Farhad spoiled us with amazing gourmet breakfast with eggs from his own chicken and home grown vegetables. He made fresh baked cookies that were waiting for us in our rooms each night, and filled the house with the wonderful sound of him playing classical music for us each night. The rooms are spacious and extremely tidy, each having their own deck with a view of the Harbor or his private garden. The location was amazingly convenient with less then a five minute walk to a wide variety of restaurants. We live in Kirkland and were visiting with our cousin's who live in Sweden. We had a wonderful time and know we will definitely visit Friday Harbor again soon and stay at our new favorite B & B, The Friday Harbor Grand.

This place was amazing! Very cozy and welcoming with the most incredible breakfast I've ever had on vacation. Beautiful piano music every evening, and a wonderful host were the cherry on top of a wonderful trip to Friday Harbor. I found myself wishing we were spending more time in Friday Harbor and draggin my feet when it came time to pack up and leave. Thankful that we found Friday Harbor Grand Bed and Breakfast — can't wait to go back!

We cannot say enough things about this place and the service we received. The style is great. The food was amazing. The personal service was beyond what we expected. Then, to add the beautiful touch of piano playing? Wow. We'll definitely come back!

We both retired and decided to spend three days in Friday Harbor. The host (Farhad) was great — long-time resident, knowledgeable, gracious, entertaining — and he cooks and plays piano! The location was fabulous — easy walk to Friday Harbor, central to Island activities, gorgeous island and views The home, neighborhood, and island were peaceful and relaxing; slept like a log.

Exceptional customer service. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner is a terrific chef and baker. Our breakfast was both healthy and very tasty. He is also a great pianist. After a long day of excursion, it's always nice to sit back, relax, and listen to him playing the piano. Make sure you ask him about his piano, because it's a great story. Our overall experience was wonderful and we can't wait to come back and stay in this place again.

Absolutely perfect place to stay for a visit to San Juan Island and Friday Harbor. Pet friendly, gourmet breakfasts, warm cookies, wine and piano music in the evenings. This is the perfect home base for island explorations with a host that is more than willing to advise, recommend and assist. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Very nice bed and breakfast. The breakfast is very good, with highlight including Persian tea, homemade jams and delicious homemade sourdough bread. And it's all vegetarian!

Loved our stay at Friday Harbor Grand! Our room was spacious and absolutely perfect. I cannot praise our host, Farhad, enough. The breakfasts he prepared were unique and amazing. Each night he delivered fresh baked cookies to our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening piano concerts. Farhad shared numerous stories about the composers before and after he played each classical selection. Anyone who enjoys listening to beautiful classical music in a very relaxed setting, and appreciates eclectic cuisine will love staying at Friday Harbor Grand.

Excellent host, called and made reservations on our behalf at a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and had many options. Rooms were clean and looked recently renovated. And fresh baked cookies delivered to our room in the evening! Definitely stay here if you can!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Friday Harbor Grand. We stayed in the Sunshine Suite which is both sunny and spacious and has its own small terrace. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed homemade cookies in our room each night. The breakfasts were unique and delicious and gave us the opportunity to meet the other guests which was enjoyable. Farhad was a wonderful host, going out of his way to make sure we had a good stay; his piano concerts were an added treat. We could walk to the downtown restaurants and shops from the Grand. We would definitely recommend the Grand to others, as it is as memorable an experience as the island itself.

What a wonderful, peaceful getaway! Comfortable room with beautiful views, convenient to everything — love the wine and homemade cookies while listening to Farhad playing the piano, gourmet breakfasts to die for, hospitable, welcoming, precious tea cup Australian shepherd, free bicycle rentals — so perfect we all want to live there!.
