Friday Harbor House has amazing views with very clean and high class rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for the weekend and very much enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff was super friendly, top notch!

Get room, unbelievable views, some nice touches like dimmers on almost all the lights, a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub combined create a wonderful romantic environment.

Absolutely an amazing place to spend my birthday Weekend!

We cannot say enough about this fantastic boutique Hotel! The service is impeccable! A welcome drink, amazing room, perfect views. Our room had all the perfect added touches of hand made truffles, lavender bath salts and room spray! Awesome coffee station and complimentary cookies and coffee in the lobby. The bed was perfect not too hard not too soft! Morgan is so kind, informative and helpful! We didn’t eat here but did order Bananas foster to the room! I had never had that before. I can’t wait to come back again. Oh and the views are of course amazing!

Our experience at Friday Harbor House was incredible! For someone who has been in the restaurant industry for many years (on and off) the service here was outstanding. Not only did the manager come ask how everything was and also chatted with us for a bit, so did other staff/servers. Our server was great as well! I asked for a couple recommendations and also asked if those were made with butter (dairy allergy). He went and checked right away and let me know they were not. I had the halibut (it was between that and the salmon, but I get salmon a lot so I went with the halibut) was amazing! The entire dish was great. My boyfriend had the steak and fries which was really good as well! Overall I would give this place a 5/5. Great service, great food, great drinks, and friendly staff. The ambiance was really nicely also! If we come back here to vacation again we WILL be coming back to Friday Harbor House.

Parking available is one of the 2 attributes of this restaurant. The other is the beautiful view of the harbor as ferries come & go. From there it goes downhill fast. The best thing on the menu is the hamburger. The pasta dish of the evening was pasta and halibut. There were three pieces of bite-size halibut and dry overcooked pasta noodles. No olive oil or sauce to be found. My guest basically left it all behind. The Margarita Pizza was terrible. Do they not know you put cheese on pizza? When I asked our server if everything was okay as he gave us the bill to review and complete our payment at our table he said that it's embarrassing to stand there as guest included his tip. Maybe if you did a better job it would be less embarrassing. Not a do-over or do ever again.

Friday Harbor House is a great place to stay with excellent views and a fantastic restaurant. The partial view room is a great deal, and the harbor view has an even better view of the harbor. The location is perfect for seeing San Juan and accessing the whale watching and kayaking tours.

The views were as promised. The Jetted Tub worked like a charm and the front desk staff are really nice and helpful. The only thing was when people move out and cleaners are in the room, it's very audible when they clean. Especially if they are cleaning any adjacent rooms or rooms above where you might be staying. If you like to take your time to get ready or sleep in it might be little noisy. If you usually leave the room early, you will have no problem.

We were upgraded for no charge to a better view upon our 3 night stay to the Harbor House, which we initially thought was nice. However, upon check-in, when we tried to take a much needed travel nap, we realized there was ongoing construction, metal grinding, metal and rock pounding, deck construction still ongoing. Can't fault the place for that, it looks very nice, but why upgrade someone to that room without letting them know, especially when you told them at check-in you were going to take a nap. That said, construction can't last forever. But buyer beware, room 14 was also loud due to proximity to the storage unit, which the staff accessed regularly. It also suffers from having the doorway to the bar right beside it, along with the bar bathroom on the other side of the shared wall. So, subjectively, it was noisy. We also had a strange click for days, still don't know where the noise came from. Advice: stay on the 2nd floor or higher, or far away from the front desk where traffic is high if you value privacy and quiet. Don't get me wrong, the room itself was great, fireplace, great bed, great tub, plenty of room, although no drawers for clothes if you're into clutter free stays. The location is premium, although anywhere near the harbor is walking distance IMO. The continental breakfast we had was fine, hard boiled eggs, bagels, yogurt, granola, bananas, apples, oranges, and coffee, but no table to set your plate on as you tried to make a plate, gotta be an octopus.

The food at the restaurant is good, the staff is friendly and the harbor views are great… why then three stars? Plan and simple too expensive. This is not based on what I can afford but cost comparison.

Everything was super delicious! The staff is wonderful. Our bartender was amazing. We can't wait to go again.

The location is amazing. Friday Harbor House is a very short walk from the docks and in the middle of downtown Friday Harbor. The rooms were great and their remodel is just finishing up. The new breakfast at their restaurant was phenomenal. Friendly staff with great recommendations for local activities as well.

It's undergoing massive renovation new decks new kitchens that is a great place to stay and eat.

We absolutely adored our stay here! So many thoughtful details throughout! From the welcome drink, to the sleep pack and welcome letter. The freshly ground coffee and half & half to bottled water in the fridge. We loved having breakfast included and being able to eat at the restaurant several times. The staff were amazing! The room was modern and beautiful. We will stay here again for sure.

We came here as a last minute idea to grab dinner. This was a mistake. Make sure and get a reservation! It was very crowded. The food was amazing and the custom cocktails are very good. Recommend getting the crispy Brussel Sprouts. It's made with bacon jam and very good!

Newly remodeled rooms are spacious and very clean. Full amenities, a large soaker tub and fire place made for a very fine getaway location. My wife and I cannot wait to return!

The room was good! I had an allergic reaction on my face from the bath complimentry things. The service IS good and the breakfast was AMAZING. Avacado toast, fresh donuts, eggs bendict and Mimosa.

Room 36 is the best room they have. View to die for. New remodel in 2017, so come and enjoy. Always remember, if you have to ask how much it cost$, you can't afford it!

We had a great dinner with very friendly staff that was delicious and overlooked the marina at Friday harbor. Great happy hour as well!

My best friend had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. We were greeted by wonderful staff with a warm drink and pleasant conversation. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to a full view room. And WOW it was exceptional. A fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and a walk in tiled shower with a waterfall head. And then the beautiful veranda with double French doors. But the best part was the windows looking out to the harbor. Three French Doors with a breathtaking view of the Harbor right below. It was exceptional. We could not have enjoyed our stay anymore. We shall return!

The Bar and Grill here are amazing. Awesome Drinks, Great food I have never tried before, Friendly Staff and Great Views overlooking the ferry landing and harbor. If your Visiting the Island this is a Must stop with the hubby.

Me and my husband had our honeymoon here and wow! This place is perfect! The food was AMAZING, the room and the views are so beautiful, and we really did have the most perfectly romantic evening. The staff was great! We will be making this our yearly anniversary spot for sure.

Views are amazing. Food here is so good I have dreams about it. Chef here knows what he's doing. All in all an amazing choice to stay for the view and food. May be where we book now that I have seen what they have to offer.

Great outdoor seating overlooking the water. Even provide blankets for those cool evenings. Loved the duck fat fries and the cocktails.

I recently hosted a bridal tea party here, the day before my wedding. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. They were phenomenal. They made a special menu for the tea party, which included amazing cuisine that was fancier and tastier than any tea party I've attended. They set up the tables beautifully and even made a custom playlist to go along with the event. I still have stars in my eyes. Thank you to the whole team for making my day so special. 10/10 would recommend. Huge thank you to Michael Felso for truly making the event flawless.

We arrived for a dinner reservation. They were still preparing the table, so the host poured us four glasses of champagne while we waited. The waitress was training another that night and both of them were extremely polite and attentive to our group. The food was delicious, and has been every time we have been there. Highly recommend.

Friday Harbor House a first class operation to include front desk services, the delicious food in the restaurant, amazing view of the harbor, and the management was excellent. The staff at Friday Harbor house is kind and quick to serve. I was very impressed with Meaghan and Morgan at the front desk. They provided excellent recommendations around town, and Meaghan volunteered to help leave a complimentary gift for my wife's birthday upon check-in. The manager Michael was always available, and we always had amazing service. We will recommend this place to everyone, and we will return. Great experience.

Friday Harbor is absolutely amazing and so is this place!

My wife and I honeymooned in Seattle in 2004. We happened upon the San Juan Islands and Friday Harbor. As we exited the Ferry the town was decorated for Christmas and being nighttime the town was adorn with Christmas lights. She was hooked from the word go. We have stayed twice, once in 2004 and again in 2007. A commanding view of the marina. A very European room which was comfortable, a sauna tub with doors that slide to reveal the remainder of the room. The inroom fireplace made things even better. We were very pleased and if/when we return to Friday Harbor we'll assuredly be staying there again.
