Probably the best value in an expensive town. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast plentiful and front desk staff friendly. Good value and would stay again.

Easy experience to check in. Pool is not working at this time but guest are able to use the pool across the way at the Hilton. That was a nice accommodation. Beds are very comfy!

My mom booked this room through a third party. They checked us in confirming there would only be a $9 charge for parking. A few hours later she got a notification that in addition to the $9 charge they made a charge of $115.48 to her card. Somehow they think if they have your credit card details they can do what they want. Scammers! Also a loud dog down the hall so we hardly even slept that night. I would not recommend!

Dark green carpet which didn't look very clean. The bathroom was extremely small. Guest service was not super friendly, just wanted to get you checked in and out. I read the reviews on the hotel restaurant and stayed away. Once breakfast came, I saw why. Luckily breakfast was included in our stay otherwise it was $11.00 for a general mid-level hotel breakfast. To be honest, I felt like I stayed at a red roof Inn only it was more than double the price of one. Oh, and they charge you $9.00 to park at a hotel that you pay to stay at. Overall, they aren't interested in accommodation. They are interested in money.

I booked this room for my girlfriend and I. She is from Oregon, and had never spent any time in Bellevue. This hotel was the perfect distance to downtown, and we were taken everywhere we wanted to go by the complimentary shuttle, driven by Ken, who was just a joy. Like Ken, all the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and provided us with everything we could've possibly needed. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable and conveniently located stay in Bellevue, look no further than this hotel!

I stayed here almost 10 years ago and I was visiting Seattle again so I decided to book a room here. We stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast was good, is all you can eat so that's always good. Front desk was good and the room was really good. We were using the bus and the Bellevue Transit Center is close like a 10 min walk and we don't mind at all. They also can take you there free and pick you up too. So overall a very good experience. Bellevue is a quiet, new city and very safe.

Beautiful landscaping. Housekeeping lacking some deep cleaning skills (lots of built up dust behind the TV stand). It is older but quaint. Free bike rental and 24 hour shuttle with-in 3 miles. The breakfast is edible but nothing special. Coffee pot in lobby was always empty and only 2 coffee pods a day with room.

The staff was super nice. Unfortunately we had some trouble with 1 room (broken toilet) then we're moved to another room that was not the cleanest and was infested with spiders. A few minutes in the new room and noticed a spider on the bed spread, then wall, then curling, then bed skirt, we killed already 10. Webs under both beds and between bed and head board. We just killed them, then had to wipe everything down. I don't know if the room had been empty for a while or what. But the next morning they did comp the room and apologize for the inconvenience and arachnids. The place is in a good location when visiting Bellevue, shopping, I405, good restaurants, I just don't know if I'd stay again. I'm still a little creaped out.

Not bad, the bathrooms need updating however. Our room had a dirty tub and broken handle in the shower. The rooms were clean and decent furniture. The room was a really large size and had a cute little foyer when entering.

Reasonable accommodations with good linen. Toilet paper was thin and narrow. Soapcentral etc for one person rather than two of us that occupied the room. Rug and entryways to hallway and unit stained. Heater under the window worked reluctantly and had 10 degree variation in it's cycle for off and on.

The pool is amazing. 9ft deep and warm. The sheets are 5*. Heather, the executive manager was very accommodating to find me a rehearsal space. Veronica, the cleaning staff, was going out of her way to facilitate any needs. Cleanliness was great. Breakfast is the best out of any chain I've seen. Right off 1-90 and 405. I'll be back!

I had a really good experience at this hotel. First off, check in time wasn't until 4 PM. I was traveling, and after 16 hours on the road, I got to the hotel around 11 AM. I had called about an hour before I arrived and Sarah answered the phone and I asked about early check in. She told me she'd do what she could. When I got there at 11, Sarah was at the front desk and had a room ready. Check in was easy, front desk staff was helpful. The room was nice, clean, comfortable bed and great pillows. I had a balcony room. There was an in room fridge and in room coffee maker, which I made good use of. The pool was nice, it was great weather during my stay so I used the pool a couple times. There was a fitness center and computers for guests in the lobby. The lobby also had a small shop for snacks, ice cream and supplies you might need. And, the lobby had 24 hour coffee. Breakfast was great! At a restaurant on the property and convenient to get to. A good selection of food, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, eggs, yogurt, fruit, granola, coffee, juice, cold and hot cereal and breads… that not even everything. It was buffet style, free, and delicious. Check out was easy and painless (Sarah again, very helpful and friendly). I'd choose this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Clean and comfortable great location for walking downtown. Beds and pillows always super comfy at Red Lions. Had a room upstairs with balcony and view of pool which was nice and not to much traffic noise. Downside was most of the staff we (myself and husband) encountered was pretty rude, the night shift guy was the friendliest of the staff I encountered. Also there was no elevator in the building we were in (main building with lobby) but they did provide someone to help. Not a BAD place to stay in Bellevue but we had a MUCH better experience at Larkspur Landing Bellevue.

Nice hotel. Comfortable, with reasonable rates. Their customer service is awesome! I helped host a 5 day conference here. EVERY employee I contacted about anything made a point of going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I can highly recommend this hotel without any reservations.

The hotel room was large, the room was clean. The breakfast was nice for being included, I would not pay for it though. The staff was very professional and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Plan to stay here again next year.

I made a reservation online for 6 rooms for my team and I called to see if we can get a group deal. The group deal rate included breakfast and was a set price $111 for each night which was higher than the regular rate + breakfast so it wasn’t really a deal. My credit card and another parent had credit card charges that equaled over $750 each. There is something that needs to get fixed in their reservation system. Rooms were decent and worth the money and great location. Bre…akfast was ok, standard hotel buffet. Nothing to brag about. When we went to the hotel restaurant in the evening the staff member who greeted us told us he doesn’t recommend we eat here as it might be “too noise for the kids” when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. He strongly recommended restaurants that were nearby. Sorry Red Lion. Kind of a damper on our trip experience.

Overall a good hotel for events, but the overall accommodations for very large groups is not ideal. The staff is very accommodating but the overall needs of the event were not 100% satisfactory. Overall good hotel.

Grateful the staff gave me a key when I was locked out, I was not registered to the room and forgot the room number! She somehow gave me a key and room number without being on the reservation! haha AWESOME and unheard of! Lucky it was my room!

The meeting room for the lecture was nice. Excellent coffee and tea provided. Parking wasn't a challenge if you got there early.

Solid hotel, even if a bit dated. They are updating this location and it shows for the better. Rooms have everything you would expect to find, Wi-Fi is good, breakfast is excellent, and even the charcoal soap is pretty nice. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town on business.

Great location in Bellevue. Staff was very nice and responsive to requests. We got to the hotel early and they made sure to find a room so we could drop our things off. Easy access to the interstate and lots around when looking for things to do.

Currently under construction, has an interesting layout with no elevators with two floors. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic which I usually judge a hotel on, beds were a bit below average but I guess there is a plan to replace all mattresses soon. Very quiet location, conference area small but great for our needs. Chairs hard to sit in all day. Great staff at front desk!

Older property but well maintained. I stayed here for 4 days on a business trip. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are clean. Overall I had a good stay. Jonah's Bar & Grill is located on the property. It is a nice quiet restaurant with decent food and drinks.

Had a coupon for a buy one, get one entree free. My wife had jack burger and I had turkey club. Both are bacon was well done and my wife was not asked to have her burger done, but the bartender was nice and food was fine. Very dead, so we had while place to ourselves. Would consider returning to try happy hour.

Bed was comfortable and the room had a balcony. The wing I was staying in was being remodeled so I had to put up with noise during the day. The fire alarm was set off by the construction too. Might be better once they finish the remodel.

Loida is so unprofessional. They lost our reservation and blamed it on someone else. (Price line who was trying to work with us) she laughed in my face when I asked since we had proof confirmation number and everything if she could just rebook the room (not a good idea after 18 hours in a car and being hit by a semi) and she laughed in my face. Oh then she downgraded us cause this was all she had available.

I stayed here for a week on a business trip and I loved it. The beds were comfy, rooms were spacious, staff was very friendly, and there is a restaurant/bar attached to the bar. There is a shuttle service that will take you within a few miles of the hotel for free. I also really liked the soaps and shampoos that were made with herbs and hemp seed oil. It was way better than most soaps and shampoos that are in other hotels. Next time I'm in the Bellevue area, I will stay here again.

We have family members visiting from out of country and we booked rooms for them at the Red Lion of Bellevue. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Definitely worth the price.

Hotel generally quite appealing, miserable internet, very expensive premium internet.

Distance downtown a drunk but can take a bus to downtown not in a hurry, but this hotel bed is not good to sleep, curtains always can't cover the window of the light is too bright to sleep, but the service staff is not bad, and there are hotel bus transfer in about two to three kilometers, hotel early chiselled good.

We arrived to find our room wasn't ready. I sat in the lobby for a half an hour before the gal working was able to check us in for reasons I still don't understand. I used Expedia to book and due to a problem with that service we ended up with two double beds instead of two queens. Obviously this wasn't the hotels fault. But when I attempted to call the front desk not one of my calls were answered or returned. When we returned to hotel and I asked for a roll away bed and was told they didn't have one available. According to the gal at check out they actually did have one we could have used so my friend slept on the floor when he didn't need to. Complained at check out and was promised a call to address my concerns that I have not received. I'll reiterate that the booking issue wasn't their fault but I've never stayed anywhere where the staff was so unreachable and unresponsive to concerns and questions. I understand that issues arise but was disappointed by the disoriented and unprofessional response of the staff.

Sprawling multiple building hotel with only two floors in each of the 4 buildings. Decently comfortable queen beds. Lacking easy outlets near beds. Smaller bathroom and low shower head. Good, but expensive, breakfast. Could use updating and a coat of paint. Overall just ok.

This was a great place to stay. Simple and fine. Nothing too spectacular — it was a simple hotel. Very large facility and very friendly staff and service. The buffet was nice. I think it's worth it — great to stay when you don't want to be too close to the city.

This place is small and cozy unlike other hotels with lots of floors this place has a two floors max but it has four different buildings. The try to resemble a Chinese culture with the acitecture and the beautiful gardens all around. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful. The only downside is that the rooms with two beds are NOT QUEENS! They are full beds Which is a major downside. But other than that everything is really nice.

Well, let me start by saying I've stayed here before many times, and it was great. This time however, was horrible! We were put in a supposedly smoke free building. The hall absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke, and our room was almost as bad! We asked for a different room, and the front desk made it seem like it was a HUGE deal to get us another room. She actually asked if WE were the ones who smoked! Uhhh… no. They said all they had was a room with 2 doubles, instead of the 2 queen beds. That was fine by us. We got to that room, and the cleaner/perfume smell was overwhelming. (The lobby smell is overwhelming also) We had to open a window to try and air it out a bit. We went to Jonahs restaurant for dinner, and it was not good at all. Nachos with unmelted cheese, salad with wilted lettuce… oh, and the $3.50 can of pop. Not to mention all the cobwebs on the wall, and table with leftover gunk on it that hadn't been cleaned. Went to our concert and got back about 11:00. We were going to grab a snack and drink in the lobby as we were not able to finish our dinner. They wanted $4.00 for a Gatorade and $2.50 for a candy bar. Got back to the room and we were curious if the double room was any cheaper than the queens. I found out that had I booked the room that day, I could have gotten it for $99, instead of the $147 that I paid with my AARP discount. I asked the front desk about it and she just acted like I didn't know what I was talking about, so I showed her the screenshot.

This hotel was pretty good, but not as nice as some of the other hotels I have stayed at over the past week or so. The bathroom could use a bit more space, and I didn't find the pillows overly comfortable, but the service attendant was nice enough, and the rooms themselves had a reasonable amount of space.

The only things that even got 1 star was the woman behind the desk in the afternoon was very pleasant and the bed was pretty soft. Unfortunately that's where the comfort ends. If you plan on going to the restaurant expect a 20 minute wait — even if it's empty. But if you can avoid the restaurant you definitely should. The prices were cheap during happy hour, but would later be paid with food poisoning for both myself and my traveling companion. When I spoke to the front desk in the morning about it I was simply told "sorry, hopefully you aren't flying". In addition: do not listen to the review that says there's free breakfast — if you want breakfast it's $11 per person plus tax. The cleanliness was… questionable. The beds looked clean enough but the restroom had three burnt out lights and even in the dim light it was clear the bathtub needed a good cleaning. Lastly regarding the lobby, the coffee/cappuccino machine was out of order as well as every computer that was usually available for guest use. If you plan on only sleeping here it will work, but if you want to do anything else — even shower — please avoid this place!

Red Lion Bellevue is one of the "value-priced" hotel options near downtown Bellevue. It is slightly dated, but offers free Wi-Fi and a free breakfast buffet on top of its cheaper pricing. The hotel is a maze of various buildings which are confusingly connected by sidewalks. Rooms have coffeemakers and refrigerators, and are fairly standard if a little old. It is on the outskirts of downtown, so shopping and restaurants are a bit of a hike, but it is definitely in a walkable area. Overall not a bad choice if you want to be in walking distance of downtown Bellevue, but don't want to pay for the more centrally-located hotels.

Came here for my husbands birthday and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I wasted $90 on this one night. I didn't get any sleep at all. Rooms are small and ugly and my toilet wasn't stable. It moved a lot. People in this hotel SLAM the doors and these walls must be paper thin since I can hear every conversation and people were outside my window at 5 am drinking and talking. Never staying here again.

Good hotel with great value within walking distance of downtown Bellevue. The immediate area it's in is a little out of the way, but there are various options downtown within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, and the bathroom amenities are nice too. (I love the charcoal soap! ) The bathroom woodwork looks a little sloppy, and the carpet style is a bit dated… but everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was a particularly nice touch. I wouldn't have expected a buffet-style breakfast at this time of hotel, and it was very affordable.

The rooms are very out dated. The wall paper was peeling. The room could have been way cleaner, very musty smelling. It was not worth the money spent. The bathtub did not drain when showering. The windows rattled everytime a door closed. I have stayed at many Red Lions this was by far the most terrible.

This place is a nasty joke! It smells, small paper then walls I can hear the people next door word for word! They have a note on the table asking us to re use our towels and sheets to keep the water use down! Gross no! The tub didn't even drain while taking a shower!

The rooms and decor are VERY dated. Our room was dirty and the sheets were very stained and even had blood on them. We went to the bar during happy hour and it took 10 minutes just to have the bar tender acknowledge that we were there. It then took another 20 minutes to get our chips and cheese after we were informed that the menus were old and they do not offer that food anymore. The free breakfast in the morning made us both sick and there was hair in the potatoes. The only up side was that the beds were comfortable and we got a partial refund for the room.

We got bait and switched on the pool and hotub with our grandaughter visit. No pool or hot tub and no offer to do anything but cancel our reservation. Badicly go screw yourself was the answer we got. This was a Groupon deal that was no deal at all.

This property needs to be treated for insects, more specifically spiders. Husband and I stayed 2 nights and woke up each day with multiple spider bites, he smashed 3 while we were there. I am normally not a picky person or expect something for nothing, circumstances happen but there were so many things wrong with our stay. Property is very dated and worn, the window curtains had some kind of material melted on them and multiple scuffs on the walls and doors. If you're a light sleeper beware of the vent fan and bathroom toilets being contstantly on. Other guests also had the same complaints. Key cards rarely worked and not at all on the day of check out and had to rely on other guests (who also had the same problem) to let us in and one of us had to stay in the room to let the other in. Coffee was horrible and had to spend $30 at safeway to purchase our own toiletries that weren't made of charcoal (yes that's correct) and obnoxious perfume that didn't make our eyes water. I usually wear perfume and lotion alike but Super 8 that I've also stayed at had better toiletries. Finally, our final hold on our credit card was over $900, if you give a different card at check out that is the card that will actually be billed, not the one that's used initially to reserve the room. I work at a financial institution and am well aware of how holds work and why merchants place them. Granted, I know half of it will fall off and know we will only be charged for the stay but $900? Unreal.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only things we didn't enjoy were the people drinking beer in the pool and beer cans and bugs floating on the pool. We dont have a problem with people drinking, but this is a shared pool and we were trying to take our toddler swimming, not to a party. (The only reason I share this detail is because the staff should pay more attention to the pool area). Our rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Impossible to get ahold of, terrible customer service.

The receptionist was rude. She denied that we had 2 rooms. She told us that she was out of rooms (sold-out) and we will not be able to get the 2nd room. After struggle I found the reservation on my phone (thank goodness) and showed it to her. She was not happy to find out that she was wrong. Never apologized however gave us the 2nd room. Don't know what happened to the sold-out situation. The hotel was VERY noisy. Teenager kids were running around in the backyard and in hall ways making loud noises. I called the front desk and told them. They did nothing. Then I called again after 1 hour. It was around 1:30am. They probably sent someone or those noisy people went to sleep as noises died down around 2:00am. We were very tired and could not sleep until 2am because of noise and hotel personnel did not do anything for couple hours.

This place is a dump. There are condom wrappers in the halls, the housekeeping does not fully clean up the room (simple things like picking up old towels, and adding new ones, dumping the trash, etc). There were cheerleaders (little girls) running, yelling, knocking on my door, and doing flips for hours in the hallways, and the front desk says, "sorry, there is not much we can do. " Don't stay here.

Affordable (coz initially I had to pay from my pocket, so I know) No disturbance during day or night Enough parking place Very clean and tidy Comfortable bed and sofa Ample space inside the room Serve good breakfast Enough power sockets to charge your devices (if you carry a lot of electronics with you) Very close to the vendor I was working with, I could even walk there (but that's of course subjective) I would not ask for beautiful view because I was on a business trip and it would have rather distracted me (you kind of have to work during off duty hours if you are in IT) So. All in all I would recommend this place any day.

Great restaurant staff and front desk staff was nice too; guest services were a little slow but accommodating of all requests; great for the price. Didn't use town car service, but that would have been an extra plus, too.
