We were looking for a convenient overnight stop on our trip from Florida to Canada. Adjacent to the I-81, when you arrive the hotel doesn't look like anything special just an older style motel. However, we had a very warm and friendly welcome and the room offered all that we needed (fridge, microwave, large screen TV etc. ). We got a room (211) towards the back of the hotel which turned out to be very quiet. The room featured a unique vaulted wood finished ceiling and very comfortable king size bed. There were a variety of nearby eateries including a Texas Roadhouse. The hotel offered all we needed for a short overnight stop. Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and good value.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a smile. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Made my unexpected pit stop a breeze. I booked a 2 double room. It was absolutely beautiful. I even looked for signs of people not cleaning and didn't find any. The ceilings were wood made me feel cozy. In the morning we had a complimentary breakfast you had your choices of bagels, English muffins, eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, waffles and biscuits and a lot more. After making my plate with sausage and a biscuit I grab a cup of coffee (which truly was really good). The whole experience was seamless. Thank you to the staff for making this horrible situation into an easy night.

I can only say: I like the pet friendly policy. I travel with my baby and love that she is welcomed at choice hotels.

I give it high because room is nice and they let you bring even cats in. I had two with us.

The room had very lovely high wood ceilings, but when the wind blew they creaked something awful. Stayed here on a work trip so I did not select the hotel myself. It did not have a business center. Other than the noisy roof the bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. It is near several food options like Denny's.

We enjoyed our stay. Great staff. Clean comfortable room. Quiet. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in this area.

It's a standard Comfort Inn. It's clean, safe, all the creature comforts for a good rest. The staff is exceptionally nice! There is a Dennys Restaurant attached. Great food, available 24 hrs. Even allows pets which is a big plus for us with fur babies.

We very much appreciated the cleanliness of this hotel. The service was excellent. The room was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was of good quality. We appreciated the non smoking policy!

Excellent staff, economical, quick and efficient problem resolution, have stayed many times. As a woman traveling alone, I feel very safe here and in Charlottesville… Kudos to both places!

The room we had was pretty small, but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hot and decent. A solid value.

The rooms are nice. They're clean and the wood ceilings look great. The bathroom is nice and clean but theye was no plug for the shower/bathtub which made it difficult for giving kids baths, but that's a minor complaint. The only real complaint would be the parking, or lack thereof. They stay busy so the parking lot stays pretty full and sometimes difficult to find an open spot. Great hotel overall though.

Good value for money. Convenient location. Walkable distance to gas station. There's a Denny's attached to the hotel.

I did not rate this five star because of it's stellar ambience, but because of its friendly staff, cleanliness, quietness, furnishings that were more than adequate, and my husband was satisfied with breakfast. We cannot say this of every place we stayed on this trip. We were pleased and would return again.

Older hotel but refurbished inside. Bathroom and bedroom up to date, clean and comfortable. Convenient, right off the exit.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and relaxing. They are a pet friendly and even have pet bags out on the grounds.

Very clean and comfy accommodations! Loved that it's pet friendly but so clean you wouldn't even know. Staff is friendly and they have hot breakfast and ample parking. Could not ask for more, especially when just stopping for the night to sleep. Would gladly return if I'm in the area again!

Appeared to be an older bldg but fresh paint and paper. Very clean, rooms a bit smaller than newer comfort inns but ok. Only complaint a/c thermostat affected by outside temp. Rooms gets cool early but warms up as outside temperature gets cooler. Needs updated.

Wonderful rooms, first hotel I've been in that had a night light in bathroom. Wonderful free hot breakfast. Denny's restaurant literally next door which is very good. Hotel very reasonable price. Only problem for me was traffic and hall noise. Luckily husband had pkg of foam ear plugs which fixed problem. Wonderful on/off interstate.

Honestly, I don't know where to begin. Comfort inn. There's a comfort inn, and a comfort inn and suites. And there's a big difference. I was on my way back from ohio and me and my dad wanted just to get a quick room. We couldn't get that with the comfort inn. We saw that there was a outdoor pool, but that does not say anything about the room. The least I could say was that I got what we payed for. Very bad cleaning, bed bugs, no hot water, a bed without pillows… ect. This made me and my dad pissed. We payed for this! In the morning we complained to the desk lady. Who had no intention in helping us. For the many things wrong with our room, we should have stayed for 40 buks or less. Security is a different story. We barley slept with the amount of saftey. Also, when we checked in the clerk said that no one is working overnight so your on yourself. On yourself? That doesn't even make sense. But with many doubts about the hotel we didn't appreciate the McDonald's boxes next to the bed. When we started laying down the law to the clerk she seemed to start to listen… right after my dad said he's a police sergeant and a marine. The lights in the hall we were staying in didn't work. Actually they worked… maybe 3 out of the 500 of them. We said that we could easily sue them and get our $$ back. We didn't get a discount, we talked to the company and they said that the staff will be re trained and we will get our money back. This hotel is right off a highway.

Very Clean Room. Nice Staff. Let me check in early. Good water pressure and heat in the shower. Quite place too. Great CDL discount but no parking for a truck and trailer. Can park a bobtail though.

3rd time staying here due to the closest to work, either a meeting or inclement weather and always have been treated like family and have been known for years! Call was answered promptly when inquiry about availability was made and was told who would be at desk when I arrived late night to help me. Room was clean, comfortable and dining area at breakfast was also clean and attendant greeted promptly with a pleasant good morning. If needed I will definitely stay here again.

Before I even got there, I called to reserve room, "Donald" answered phone, extremely rude man, said "he had customers, ". He couldn't take call. On arrival Donald, was looking down at paperwork, not so much as lifted his head to acknowledge I was there, he quickly said it's 12$ for my dog, furthermore I was not aloud to leave my room without dog, I replied not even to walk across the street and back? He said no", you can order out, " I asked to see manager, He replied, " I'm all that's here and I don't like the way you're assaulting me, and I'm not renting the room to you. " Needless to say, I strongly recommend anybody to stay clear of this place if one you have a pet, 2 if you don't want trouble with the law and 3 Donald appeared to me like he crawled out of a gutter. Nasty place.

The service was incredible and the rooms good clean. The breakfast better than most fun.

Front desk clerk was courteous and very professional yet personable. Room proveded a very comfortable atmosphere. The bed & pillows were exceptionally comfortable & the cleanliness was excellent! Best of all there wasn't even a trace of bedbugs ever being there. We would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Winchester Va.

First stay, you never no what to expect when you book a hotel reservation. We were a little apprehensive as we drove up to the hotel. It looked a little older. Depending on the owner, older hotels can be a nightmare, if the renovations and repairs are not kept up. Our first impressions were smashed. The front desk area looked neat, clean and had a hospitable atmosphere. The Desk Clerk was very courteous and professional. Of course the most important part of you stay is the room. The place you will be living for at least one night. Because of short notice booking, only one non-smoking room was available. The room came with two full size beds. The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and clean. In fact the bathroom looked as if it had been renovated recently. The shower was immaculate. A telltale sign in a hotel is the tub. If the tub has scum build up then the rest of the room may not be as clean. The room was provided with a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. The television was a flat screen. All of the electronics we used worked. I am using their free Wi-Fi to write this review, I slept was well as I would in my own home and bed. They actually provide REAL pillows instead of those cheap little pillows you get at some hotels. The continental breakfast had a wide variety and the food was quite tasty. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and the price was unbeatable for the services. We will stay here again if we come back this way.

What a great value for the price! The ladies at reception were cheery. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a binder of helpful information. The best part for me was the breakfast (from 6-9). It was better than most I've had (granted I've only had a handful). I liked the waffle station, eggs, and sausage patties. They also had yogurt, apples and oranges, sliced bread and muffins. I'd come back and stay here again.
