The hotel is pretty rundown for a Hilton property. Dirty hallways — literally have not been vacuumed. Bathrooms look like something out of Bates Motel. Certainly not what I expect from a Hilton. Certainly not worth the luxury price being charged.

This location was very convenient to Busch Gardens and Outlet Shopping! This location was very kept very clean during our stay. All staff were very helpful and always so cheerful. Ashley with front desk helped with lots of questions prior to arrival and this of course made things go very smoothly. She made great recommendations for local places to eat and shop! Mrs. Vera was our Housekeeper and she was always so welcoming and nice. She made sure we had everything we needed for our room! I would highly recommend this location! We can’t wait to visit the area again!

Always thought this hotel was peaceful and back in a secluded area. Bummed that we didn’t get warm cookies when we got here this year! Wasn’t too happy about the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night and found out from friends that is a common occurrence. Just one night stay after walking around Busch Gardens all day!

I was comfortable throughout my visit. The bed was comfortable. The staff was polite and professional!

I would stay here again and again! We arrived late and were immediately happily greeted after a long drive! The lobby was PRESTINE, actually all common areas were kept very clean! Our room was spacious and clean. The pool was beautiful and the game area was great for the kids and adults!
Each team member greeted us each time they saw us! The team was more than accommodating and helpful! The food was delicious both in the restaurant and room service. Everything was great and well priced!
Marco and Daniel were most especially helpful and gracious! Our server was amazing in the restaurant as well!

I have stayed in many Doubletree‘s and it is one of my favorite hotels. However I recently stayed in this one in Williamsburg the place was disgusting my room was filthy when I arrived the staff we’re very rude when I ask them for anything this has really put a bad taste in my mouth for Doubletree I don’t know if I will ever go back to any of them again. Sad but true! Maybe they should take some lessons from the one in Nashville or even Atlanta those two are absolutely beautiful!

We have come here for the past 8 years for the Scares That Care Weekend convention and they ALWAYS make us feel welcome and at home! Amazingly attentive staff, incredible food, such a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere…

Wow! first time in a hotel and they have knocked it out of the park! I feel totally safe!

With ask the craziness going on I can truly say I felt completely comfortable staying here even with covid. Very clean, very nice place. You just feel safe here. Room was nice, clean. Service was great, polucies that they have in effect during covid were reassuring yet accommodating. We will absolutely stay here again in the future. Nicest place we've stayed at in Williamsburg to date. Definitely recommend.

Great location for Busch gardens. The park is only a couple minutes away. Room is very large, bathroom is a little small but functional. Has an indoor/outdoor pool which was great when we had a rainy night and had to leave the theme park early. The rooms are clean but could use a refreshing of wallpaper, etc. Staff was friendly. Would recommend for trip to Busch gardens.

This is the first and only of many many double trees we have stayed at that we have been disappointed and appalled at uncleanliness, rude, staff, lack of staff, unhelpful… the grounds are not kept up nor the interior… just very distressed.

This hotel could be so nice. Perfect location and pretty grounds. But it has not been kept up. The staff is rude and their lack of care shows in the hotel. Dirty rooms. Crazy guests (young kids) allowed to run around the hotel. Such a shame this hotel could be so nice. Stay away.

This was by far the best Hotel we have ever stayed in. Clean rooms, wonderful staff, and an all around superb atmosphere. I will be booking summer vacation here as soon as I get home.

First I like to state that the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Now to the bad: The place is very out dated, rugs were worn the doors were missing wood pieces and they just painted over it, my son got sick from the car ride so I had to use the laundry. Now I was told that I had to use the ones on the third floor (I was on the second floor) so I was ok no big deal. I went to use the ones on the third floor and they all had out of service notes on them, so I asked an associate and they said I can use the ones on the fifth floor. So I went to use these ones and there was not door knob it was missing off the door. So now I go to the front desk and inquire about this issue. They told me that the will have a guy meet me at the third floor ones to help out. The guy shows up and said last he know these ones worked with change, so I went to get change and buy soap. Put the money in and no soap came out. Went to get more change and only a quarter came out. Now long story short I was finally able to do the laundry by washing the clothes on the third floor and then going to the fifth floor to dry them because this was the only dryer working. So I got my exercise going from floor to floor from one end of the hallway to the other. We figured that we would try the breakfast at the hotel. Well it was cold and not very good if you are ever in this area I would recommend Honey Butter Kitchen for breakfast great food.

This past week our family reunion booked at this location for the 1st time. The staff was very gracious, polite and pleasant. The beds were amazing. Breakfast was great. The children had a great time with the mini-arcade and pool. The convenience of the shuttle to the park was great. Overall our staff was fabulous and we look forward to booking our reunion here again next year!

I can't say enough about the spirit at this hotel. The staff is top notch, from check in to check out and everyone in between. Jennifer even worked out my rewards membership for me, going out of her way to take the time to find my account and update my points. Friendly, cheerful, accommodating, every staff member genuinely cares about your guest experience. We attended the charity event, Scares that Care and it has to be the most warm spirited place I've vended! The hotel really went above and beyond. You know it's going to be good when you get a warm cookie at check in! What?!

Pros:The rooms are clean but not at all modern, it's a great location. The staff were very pleasant. Cons:We had to turn off the fridge at night because the fridge made an annoying piercing high pitch noise so we could sleep. The only reason I picked this hotel was for the shuttle to Bush Garden, after a long drive to get to the hotel, I thought it would be nice to avoid more driving. But to my surprise the shuttle is not a free service. It turns out to be much cheaper to drive my family of 3 to the park. My child got bored in the mini arcade within minutes. The games were old school. Overall… not too happy with my stay. I will be paying more attention to reviews.

Wonderful hotel. Goes above Hilton's standards. Staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and immediately started interacting with my children while I checked in. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the shower. Close to great restaurants like the Whaler and to Bush Gardens amusement park. Highly recommend Double Tree by Hilton Hotel while in Williamsburg Va.

I have been this place for every summer last 3yrs so far. Every time I visited all staff are very kind and clean the room. I love their breakfast buffet;). It is convenient for Busch garden and water country USA. I highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly. They all had that Southern hospitality. The rooms were a tiny bit shabby (room 320). The carpets in the hallway were dingy but vaccumed and neat. The “Pitchers” restaurant staff was very nice but both times we ate there we waited a really long time for simple food like burgers and wings and the restaurant was almost empty. No more than 4 occupied tables both times. Ghe second time we ordered around 8:40 and no food until 9:25 AND they came out to say my husband’s plate was dropped and they didn’t have anymore fish for fish and chips. This was AFTER waiting 45 min for the food. They were very nice though and didn’t charge us for drinks or appetizers. The shuttle drivers to Busch Gardens were both very nice and on time.

Had an awful experience. Booked two rooms for my family for a two night stay and when we went to check in around 1pm our rooms we not ready. I understood since normal check in is 4pm. We decided to head to Busch gardens and thought by the time we returned our rooms would be ready — we guessed wrong! Came back around 4:30pm and only one room was ready. We had to take another room on the top floor which was ready when we wanted both rooms on the same floor due to my elderly mot…her traveling with us. Also I checked the front desk again around 6pm and the other room we requested initially was still not cleaned by their maid service. During our stay maid service was extremely slow! We got up the next morning at 9am and left to eat breakfast and go to the water park. We returned to the hotel at 4:30pm and our room was not attended to yet by the maid. Horrible! On another note we went to Pitchers for dinner, the name of the restaurant in their hotel lobby. We ordered their bbq wings as an appetizer and the wings came back partially uncooked! We showered the wings to our waitress and she apologized profusely. They took the wings off our bill and comped is a free desert. We decided to eat elsewhere the rest of our stay. We will not stay at this hotel again and will not recommend it!

The room was awesome, had a suite with lots of space. The bar downstairs closed at 12 which was disappointing and the service was very slow. They didn't have enough employees working for the amount of people in the bar. The faucet in the bathroom was loose. The hotel was huge with very long hallways. Seemed like forever to get to our room. The bed was comfortable and the black out curtains worked very well. Woke up thinking it was still middle of the night.

Our room was very old and less comfortable than we expected. The toilet was broken when we got there, at least they were prompt in coming to fix it. The couch in the room was probably 20 years old. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the rooms desperately need a renovation. Not worth the price, but a huge compliment to the staff, they made it a closer race.

I booked the hotel on a “secondary” booking site. Decided to spend the extra money because it had a shuttle to Busch Gardens… (176.00) for a night. Ouch. Nothing on ththe site explained about a shuttle fee, so we spent the extra money. It was the wine festival so we figured it was worth it. Check in was fast and friendly… then we were told about the fee for the shuttle. 7.00 round trip per person… not happy. Paid it and went on. During the night there was a domestic disturbance, right outside our door. Screaming, yelling and an arrest made. The “gentleman” proceeded to call 911 after his wife was taken away and was demanding for her to be returned. This started @12:30am and subsided @3. He stayed in the hall, directly outside of my door and yelled at anyone who would listen. I finally called the front desk and complained about it and was told the police were returning. They did, but they didn’t move the situation to anywhere else but my door. He began to yell “I see you cop” over and over… a woman showed up and was yelling a “few” choice obscenities while asking why she was naked. Nice. Really nice
I complained about it in the morning while checking out. Once I told them I’m not a Hilton points member… I was given a free shuttle pass. Well, uh, I slept for maybe 4 hours… the situation should have been handled in a different part of the hotel instead of the hallway with families and people trying to sleep.

Nice rooms, very central location, and the indoor/outdoor heated pool was the perfect way to relax after a day at Busch Gardens. The conference catering and service was also top notch, better than we've experienced elsewhere.

Clean hotel, however very loud. The walls are super thin. I'm lying in bed at 930 pm and can hear everyone in the hall, I hear the exact conversation my neighbors are having, and every last child screaming at the pool. Do not get a room facing the pool if you want to get some sleep. You can get the same walls at a much cheaper hotel.

This is our usual place to stay when visiting Busch Gardens. Great places to eat near by. Staff is friendly and efficient. Very quiet. Hotel bar has good food and drinks. Room was clean and comfortable. Five stars if the elevator and ice machine near our 3rd floor room weren't out of order.

Perfect visit. I go their twice a year or so for work, every time is great! (somehow a 3 star review was left under my name, it was a mistake, nothing was wrong with the visit, everything went great).

Me and my wife stay at this hotel twice a year both times for conventions. Normally the hotel staff is very courteous and easy to work with. However this year I had the pleasure of working with a fellow named Curtis at the front desk he was neither of those things. However I will not let my experience with one person ruin my overall opinion of the hotel. Is a really nice hotel and normally has really good staff. I am worried however since New Management we will be taking over the hotel soon.

I stayed here while attending a con and found it to be very comfortable! The room was clean, the service was great and the food was wonderful. I would definitely consider staying at another Hilton Double Tree outsude of a con.

Decent hotel. Clean friendly staff. Welcoming and inviting. Close to Busch Gardens. Not far from Colonial Williamsburg.

Large, sprawling hotel located just minutes away from the Busch Gardens amusement park and Colonial Williamsburg attractions. If you are planning to visit either of these attractions, this hotel is definitely worth looking at due to the reasonable rates and ideal location. Drive time from the hotel to Busch Gardens is under 10 minutes, and Colonial Williamsburg is only slightly further. Overall I have no complaints about the hotel itself. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff we interacted with were universally polite, welcoming and professional. A minor issue (not the fault of the hotel) with our reservation was dealt with quickly and efficiently, which more than made up for the minor inconvenience. There is a snack "cafe" on site which sells basic breakfast items, but the selection is not extensive. The hotel also features a full restaurant/bar called "Pitchers" sports bar which has a full bar and dinner menu. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere outside of the hotel since you will need to drive 10-15 minutes for something other than fast food (there is a Wendy's and McDonald's just a few minutes away). The only disappointment with our stay was the pool. The hotel features an enclosed pool area which is considered the "indoor" portion of the pool, but the water is connected via a small tunnel to the outdoor pool as well.

We went for our spring break. We wanted room service for breakfast. We called numerous times no one picked up the phone. We called hotel manager and complained that no one picks up phone for room service. Finally he made someone call our room for our order. Lady was bit rude and said it will take more than hour to get breakfast. When our food did come half of items were missing.

I was employed here in the summer of 2014. It was a great experience for my cousin and I, I would definitely work here again if I had the opportunity to. The rooms are great and we were really encouraged by our employers to ensure that our guests were satisfied. Therefore you can rest assured that you will be taken care of as a guest here. I miss the DoubleTree Cookies!

My group came here for a retreat and stayed as guests. The hotel staff was wonderful, so friendly and inviting. The hotel is very nice and a good location for Busch Gardens and not far from everything else in Williamsburg. They do keep the conference rooms terribly cold, though, so pack a jacket! Also the hotel no longer has a sauna but has not taken the signs down.

This is a large venue hotel, one that supports local fan conventions, businesses, and out of towners looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable surrounding during there stay. It is close to Busch Gardens, an amusement park, as well as a summer water park. It is a short drive to the very popular Williamsburg Outlet mall, where top notch items can be found at reasonable rates. Inside the hotel are restaurants which I supplied pictures of. Since I attend several conventions, I also included photos of that, so one can gauge the size of their meeting spaces. Also these spaces are modular! So they can be set up to any size required should you need a Meeting hall, company retreat, or whatever. To me this is a 5 star lively place with great customer service, restaurants, and friendly staff. Enjoy!

Very happy with our stay. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast was substantial and of good quality. Hot drinks and fruit available in the lobby. Didn't use the gym, but peeked in and they had a few cardio machines and some free weights.

We went to their New Year's Eve Extravaganza event and we enjoyed it! The food was acceptable, the comedy show got me laughing, and the bartenders were fun. My favorite part was dancing, shout out to the the DJ for playing great songs! If I am around the area I would definitely pay a visit again ☆

My family loves staying at this hotel when we are in Williamsburg. It is super close to Busch Gardens and the other attractions. The hotel was recently renovated, the rooms are spacious and now they offer a breakfast buffet. The best part is the homemade cookies they offer you every time you walk by the front desk!

The hotel is huge and comfortable, but during the off season you can encounter some changes to policies like dinner ending earlier than the posted 11pm at Pitchers Pub. Also, some parts of the hotel are showing their age with the toilet seat breaking and the sink not draining well. Management addressed each of our concerns and assured us they are working to make it better. I believe them! It's a lovely hotel and super close to Busch Gardens… literally 2 minutes away by car. Convenient and nice!

Was an overnight guest for one night. Got a free warm cookie at check in. One king size bed, with a decent shower and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and had plenty of outlets around it to charge electronics. Had a beer at the bar and breakfast at the restaurant. Both had wonderful service. I ordered the chorizo omlette and it was delicious.

I was at this hotel for a work Christmas party. This is a very beautiful place and perfect for events like parties and receptions. There is also a very nice little convinience store area and a good sized breakfast area. I did not stay overnight, but look forward to the opportunity to do that one day.

I attended an event at the double tree on the Saturday after thanksgiving. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The lobby and event room we were in were very nice. I had to ask the front desk staff skeins on two occasions and they were kind and helpful Both times.

Hotel was decent, friendly front desk staff. Room was clean, bathroom shower head could have used a better cleaning job. Other than that it was a pleasant & restful stay.

Staff was nice, hotel and room were nice. Our problem was that there was a knocking sound in the ceiling around the bathroom door. We said something to the front desk that evening and they said they would have someone look at it. No one came. After we'd been up most of the night because of the noise, went to the front desk the next morning, we happened to catch the maintenance manager. After describing the sound, he tried to explain that it was probably someone taking a shower, as the rooms are stacked on top of one another. That would mean that someone would have had to be taking a shower all night, plus the sound was erratic and had no pattern. Anyway, he said he would go see about fixing it. Off we went to Busch Gardens for the day. Came back to the room around 5:30pm and the sound was still there. We packed up, checked out. When asked why, we said the sound was still there and we couldn't spend another night with the noise. They never offered to get us another room, nor did they offer to refund anything. We also never saw or was told that anyone tried to actually fix the problem.

Decent lodging… Nice pool, no hot tub. Didn't eat at any of the restaurants, but the staff was mostly friendly. Small exercise room.

The front desk staff was nice enough. Room was clean and comfortable even though the door had been left open so there were flying bugs everywhere. The meeting rooms were so very cold — everybody was truly miserable. It's time for an update for sure. The prices on Google and other search engines are way less than what you actually get when you reserve a room. The posted prices were almost 100 dollars less than reality.

Room was nice. Bathroom handle broke and no one fixed it. The room had a fridge and safe but no microwave. Restaurant was nice but way too expensive. Nothing but pork options. No options for fish or chicken for breakfast. For a $16 buffet, I'd like a non-pork option. The waitress was nice enough to charge me just for oatmeal. But again $5-$6 for a bowl of oatmeal was pricey. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. I was there for an event. The banquet food wasn't dry or raw. I appreciated that a lot. Cookies were excellent as always. Great location.

We booked the Doubletree because time after time we are impressed with how great our stays are. Williamsburg was no exception!
The staff in your harvest grill are some of the nicest, most helpful people that have ever waited on us. We have a 2 year old and they were always engaged and talkative with her and she would always blow them kisses when we left. You have a great crew! Everyone is so polite!
I was a little disappointed in the lack of cookies. Every time I asked for one they were out. The best perk of a doubletree is those awesome cookies!
But it was obviously not a big deal.
Either way, highly recommend!

The hotel is lovely and so is our room. Very comfortable, clean, and we love the proximity to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. My only complaints are that the bathroom is way too small (and doesn't have a fan) and that the breakfast buffet is nearly $17/person. We went elsewhere for breakfast.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. It is in a great location, close to Busch Gardens, Water Country USA and Colonial Williamsburg. The staff is friendly and quick to meet needs — thanks Leon for fixing our light. The kids love the indoor/ outdoor pool.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and clean. We were only there for a night. Only 1 little negative come t is that the pool was closed from 10-12am and the kids really wanted to swim before we checked out.

Nice customer service. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. Our sink didn't drain properly and the shower needs new caulking around edges of the tub. Gym was very nice, good equipment.

Clean Rooms. Well equipped (small fridge, coffee maker and hair dryer). Comfy beds. Soft linens. Toiletries a little bit scarce for the beds/guests (in my case 2 queen beds, 2 adults, 2 kids) I noticed some accumulated dust residue on top shelf inside bathroom by mirror. Shelf is mainly used for decoration it looks like so I would recommend removing it altogether if it is too high to reach to clean properly. Other than that. Check in was smooth and room service was quick. If you have walking restrictions… joint problems or about to carry small kids in hand… let the front desk know because the distance between elevator and farthest room is quite lengthy.

The staff here are amazing. They make every convention we attend there fun. I love that they dress up and even change the food and drink names to fit the event. Great personalities and fun. Even at the fire alarm going off with 100° temps outside they took care of us. The staff was out there handing out water and just taking care of business! Thank you!

Room looked run down with peeling wallpaper and tubs that felt greasy. Our door card barely worked, we had to call the front desk twice to come and give us new cards. The temp control setting in the rooms don't work, we were freezing all night. Breakfast buffet is pricey at 16.50 a person and not really worth is. Pool was nice that's the only good thing and the proximity to Busch Gardens.

We stayed at the hotel one night for a amusement park trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a few small issues which I let the front desk know about. I would recommend the hotel.

This is a review of the front desk and customer service only* First, we were made to wait for hours because our rooms weren't ready. HOURS! When we did get our rooms, they were not suites like we had reserved. All the suites currently had guests in them so we couldn't even get into the rooms we originally requested. We were not offered a discount of any kind because of their error. Second, I gave my card as payment until my mother arrived. I was told when she got there they would switch everything over to her card. This was not done. In fact, nothing was done until we checked out, so we have charges for the room on BOTH CARDS. I was not offered a solution or any kind of apology for the mistake. I was talked down to, and made to feel like I wasn't being heard. I called the front desk for a solution and received none. As a whole this experience was a headache and a pain. This is supposed to be a well run hotel. Staff should be able to handle large groups checking in and out without causing such widespread pandemonium. You are in the business of customer service and I found the front desk to be lacking.

Its a nice hotel if your staying in the Williamsburg area… So far everything has been great… Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are nice. The pool outside is beautiful and there is also an indoor pool thats attached to the outside pool… Definitely worth it if your looking for a place to stay near Busch Gardens… The park is right down the road less than a mile away…

Expensive. Very little value for your money. No free breakfast. Shuttle to busch gardens is $5 per person. Rooms are the same as any other hotel. Why spend the extra $50? Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

My teenage daughter stayed here with a group of students for a class trip. She had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, my daughter left a bag of nice clothes in her room when they left. I contacted them 3 weeks later when my daughter realized what had happened. They had detailed information what room and what items were left. My mom is a travel agent who has heard stories of items disappearing in hotel rooms, so it was so refreshing to know that my daughter was in a hotel with honest and caring staff. The staff was amazing and very helpful in getting the items returned. Thank you Double Tree in Williamsburg!

The bathrooms were very pristine, the people were all friendly about everything, and well dressed and professional. All of the atmosphere in the various rooms were very nice, good lighting, nice carpetting. There's nothing negative to say at all about the place.

I attended RavenCon at the DoubleTree by Hilton Williamsburg this weekend and had a blast! The DoubleTree employees were very helpful the and everything was nice and clean and organized. I will dsy pack a swester because they keep it cold inside!

The hotel and flora area is clean and maintained. The rooms are clean but a bit dated with ceiling tiles and popcorn ceiling in the hallway. The rooms still use glass cups which were controversial due to the staff at other hotels got caught on video using the same cleaning supplies and towels on these cups as in the bathroom. They should switch to biodegradable disposable cups. The check in cookie theme is a hit with the kids, keep that up!

The hotel is a good. But the staff make it great. Everything was as comfortable as you would expect, but I was continually surprised by the helpfulness, friendliness, and work ethic of the staff. Everyone from the cooks to the reception to the house keeping staff were incredible. Thanks for a great experience.

I've stayed at the Doubletree in Williamsburg for the past three years for East Coast Women's Conference. It's a beautiful hotel and the rooms are super nice and the beds are comfy. The service and staff is always friendly and helpful. The maid service is impeccable, having even lined up our shoes for us against the wall, which was a very considerate thing to do. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone at any time.

Rooms are nice, good shower, pillows could use some work. Very noisy! I thought I was going to get some sleep since the 4 year old and 7 month old were home. With the hallway next to check in, I would think they would be the noise and put a stop to it. The have me a $5 Starbucks voucher for the hotel coffee shop and when I went to use it they were out of espresso beans. I will consider other places before staying here again.

Great hotel. I make sure to stay here whenever I'm in Williamsburg. I stay loyal to hotels that I have good experiences at, and this one is on my list of places I make sure to patronize.

Hotel was upscale, conveniently located next to Busch Gardens and several good restaurants in the area. When we arrived later at night, there were actually Deer grazing in the courtyard. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Williamsburg.

This property is located right off 64 with close access to Busch Gardens. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable and staff are friendly. Free breakfast for gold and diamond members is a full buffet which is a nice way to stay the day. Internet is also sufficient for streaming and other data intense operations.

My room is great; check-in, as mundane as it usually is in and of itself, was great, with the added touch of a free, warm cookie. Another nice touch is the free hot apple cider in the lobby. The staff here have been noticeably and exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, my stay thus far has been great!

Not ready for the vaasl conference. Wasn't even water to drink. The containers were always empty. The nominal lunch fee was $15 for a really bad lunch that was overcrowded and there were no seats. The Starbucks had 2 employees for over 1000 people. Not acceptable.

Beware. Ensure you check your emailed confirmation. Reservations agent for the Hilton gave me the wrong information 2 separate agents via phone had the same incorrect information; hotel front desk said I would have to pay extra for what I was told was included. Glad I checked my email confirmation a few days before… I ultimately ended up cancelling my package and re booking another package at another hotel that was the right fit for my family of 5 and within my budget. I received my email confirmation and many things were missing; I called the agent again and they initially told me the continental breakfast for 5 was included; all 5 people waterpark and transportation tickets; this was not so. The second booking agent through Hilton confirmed the same incorrect information the first one said to me. The hotel front desk said breakfast was only for 2; park for 2; and shuttle for 2 but they new my reservation was for 5. They explained when I arrive I would have to pay separate for all 3 kids for breakfast, parks and shuttle. I was not able to add on the kids or change my package this was it. I complained to the front desk because this package does not suite my needs and the reservations agents 2 of them gave me the wrong information. They did not offer to do anything for me because it was their mistake. I ultimately cancelled and rebooked at another hotel that had the pool, breakfast and park flex tickets with dinner included.

5 day vacation. The entire staff was courtois and friendly. Everything was clean. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the area again. The location was perfect for us.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights to visit Busch Gardens due to its close proximity using our military rate. The hotel is very close to Busch Gardens/Water Country which is nice. The $5/person shuttle fee isn't worth it since general parking runs $15/car if you have a large family. A buffet breakfast was included in our package such was definitely worth it! Food was delicious, the staff and servers were VERY VERY nice and friendly! 3 stars for overall appearance/clealiness of room. You can tell the hotel wants a very classy look but bathroom wasn't in the best condition. Also, we called several times one night for an extra comforter and wash cloths that we never received. Overall, not a bad experience for amusement park convenience. We'd stay here again, just wish they fix some of their services.

They really go the extra mile to make sure the stay is comfortable. Special shout out to James Tyler at the front desk who ensured that all my guests in the 3 rooms we booked were comfortable in a weekend when the hotel was overbooked. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend staying here — close proximity to the parks.

When I arrived the hotel couldn't find my reservation. The were able to get me a room but checked me into a room that was already occupied. When I entered the room I frighted the woman who checked in earlier that same day. She called the front desk and I was asked to go back to registration for another key. My expectation was that they brought a key to me, but that didn't happen. The experience declined further. The hotel rooms are tired, had a but on the bed, and dust on the window sill. The filters were sticking half way out of the window heater, and corrosion in the bathroom faucets. Cob webs were found throughout the hotel on light fixtures, and insides of glass lamps were coated with years of caked on dust. I was told a manager would get back to me on the check in debacle, but never got an apology from anyone. I guess they figured the cookie I got at check in was enough. Water damage can be found on ceilings, floor moldings, and other places Don't waste your money on this hotel if you like clean surroundings. Customer service does not exist.

Great food, big rooms comfortable beds, big bar and dinning places and indoor swimming pool.

Very friendly staff and a nice clean hotel. I stayed the night so my family and I could enjoy Busch Gardens. They are less than 1.5 miles from the entrance to the park! The hotel looked and smelled brand new. While we did not get a chance to enjoy the pool (too tired from all of the rides at Busch Gardens), our room overlooked the pool and it looked like everyone was having a great time in the water. If you're looking for a hotel that you can trust and feel relaxed staying at, I recommend the Doubletree in Williamsburg.

Stay here about every other year for a small convention. $150 / night. Slow decline over the last couple of years. Hot cookie at check in but that's about it. Crowds are way off. Only 2 drinking glasses in the room and one bar of soap. Carpet pattern and texture in the hall ways are drab and depressing. Did I mention you get a cookie? Buffet dinner for convention was very good and staff throughout was polite and helpful. I've stayed in worst but they were not Hiltons.
