One of Hilton’s worst, yet most convenient properties. The front desk staff was entirely indifferent to my arrival. Not that I expected roses and champagne, but as a diamond member, they at a minimum welcome you as such and offer you water bottles. Nope. Whatever. Now let’s talk about the rooms… extremely dated. Water pressure was an absolute disaster. Turn on the sink faucet and get spray back from the bowl into your face. That’ll wake you up… if the noisy and broken swamp cooler hasn’t already done that all night. Sounded like a truck with a squeaky fan belt. I’d have to say this is the worst full service Hilton I’ve ever stayed in.

The room was clean and very spacious. You can’t go wrong with the location; less than 20 minutes from the station and within walking distance from a bunch of yummy restaurants.

I had a short stay. The lobby and my room were quite nice. Very close to transit and only 25 minutes or so to get to DC!

The hotel is in a great area for easy to walk to restaurants. There is even a liquor store across the street so you don't have to pay hotel prices for Booze. Ha ha.

For a Hilton branded hotel this one is surprisingly well kept. As a frequent I have discovered that often the name branded facilities tend to be a little worn around the edges. This one is surprisingly updated, clean, with an excellent friendly and responsive staff. Right in the heart of Crystal City, about a 1/2 mile walk from the metro station. You won't have to go far for food or entertainment. There are several upscale eateries nearby including legal seafood's, Bar Louie and Ted's Montana Grill or if you are feeling downscale the crystal City sport's pub, for mediocre food and poor service, but the beer menu is decent. For breakfast beyond the hotel go to Bob and Ediths diner. Not recommend for family get aways, the Hyatt down the block has better facilities for that. This is an excellent spot for the business traveler.

This is probably the least maintained Hilton property that I’ve stayed at. 1) Location is great — just outside the airport terminal and 4 miles from national mall 2) rooms are older and bathrooms are small You can feel the oldness in elevators and hallways. 3) breakfast is overpriced and staff at the restaurant was not the most professional. 4) Shuttle to airport took almost 35 minutes to arrive when the front desk said it would take 15 mins (to their defense — it was raining that day with heavy traffic near terminal)

Venue is nice! Breakfast isn't free unless you are can get into the executive suite (Diamond member is one way). My complaint is my bathroom wasn't very clean. Stains on the toilet seat and on the front lip. Not something you want to see. Parking deck is also a bit gross. You can smell heavy urine in the stairwells.

Very nice, clean hotel located near the Reagan airport. Staff was courteous and gave us complimentary toiletries (our flight had been cancelled and we had no luggage). Would stay here again if in the crystal city area.

The rooms are spotless, with nicer furniture. The lobby has an assortment of snacks to buy at reasonable prices. A Starbucks and bar are also availible on the ground floor, and the shuttle operates quickly. Altogether a wonderful hotel!

A picture says a thousand words so I will be adding one to this post. Our stay was pretty close to awful, not quite but very close. It started right after check-in when my daughter sat down on the side of her bed and the mattresses flipped over because they were halfway off the frame. We sort of laughed it off and put them right and left for the day.
Well, after a long day of touring museums, watching a rugby game, and a late team diner we returned to the room ready to collapse into much a needed dream coma. I turned down the sheets to my bed and was shocked to see what I can only describe as possibly a roll of washed, and pressed toilet paper covering the surface of bottom sheet.
I have never seen anything like this anywhere, so I walked back down to the front desk to ask for some assistance. One staff member tried to shrug it off as residue from the irons. The other proceeded to get a clean sheet so I could go change the bedding… yep, Me. I was the one expected to change the sheets and fix the issue. No other help was offered, nor compensation in anyway.

Excellent hotel! Great service, good location, quiet, comfortable beds, nice bar/restaurant in the lobby, Starbucks in the lobby, free airport shuttle, just a short walk to the Metro (subway) for a 10 min trip downtown or to the National Mall… highly recommended!

Been visiting this hotel for approximately 10 years. The staff is awesome and very supportive. Our motorcycle club is treated as family here. A true pleasure to stay here. I would not consider staying anywhere else when visiting the Washington DC area. The facilities are well maintained.

Great hotel and well located to Reagan National Airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When the hotel shuttle arrived at the hotel, the driver said 'welcome home'. Also it is located in Crystal City with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Good experience!

Old style hotel with updated interior. Hilton is one of those hotels that I don't dislike but would rather stay somewhere else. They do have a nice complementary cocktail hour every once in a while for budget minded people.

This is an ok hotel conveniently located near the Crystal City sites and the metro. There is underground parking for an extra fee. Rooms are clean and well maintained, the staff is helpful, and the hotel has a lot of extras. One curious observation. I have stayed there many times and on most occasions they seem to have at least one elevator out of service, which resulted in inconveniently long delays to get to and from the rooms. I have no idea why they have so much trouble keeping their elevators operational.

I always enjoy staying at the Hilton! The location is great! I only have two things that made me upset! First thing is that the shuttle driver was speaking about politics and war going on with my country! Tho I made it clear from the very beginning that I do not want to talk about it but he kept talking! The second thing is also related to the shuttle driver! I got into the shuttle & he closed the doors and left! He did not even tell me where is he going! I waited there & sadly could not get out! So I called the hotel but no one picked up the call! Then he came back & I thought he is finally here to take me to the airport, but he disappeared again! I called the hotel one more time but no answer! Then he came late for about 15 minutes which made me late for my flight! I.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, however the shower didn't drain well, there was a super small fridge, no microwave, and the sink didn't have hot water. Hilton gold gives great benefits too, but over all I'd rate it 4/5 but I have not seen other hotels. Oh and the beds were very comfortable.

This hotel has excellent customer service. The sales team was wonderful. Thank you, Mr. French, for providing for all our requests. Our accommodations were perfect and the car service you selected was delightful.

Overpriced! The shower didn't drain and the toilet ran constantly through the night even after the engineer came and said he fixed it. I was chaperoning a group of 33 high schoolers on a college tour so I understand the reasoning for not switching my room but the toilet was never properly fixed. While in the lobby using the computers, the security guard asked me if I had a room there. I said, I do. Why do you ask? He said he is security and he is closing this area. I asked him if this only applied to me as there was a couple at the closed and dim bar. He said he was going to tell them to leave too. I then asked the front desk person what time the computers closed. They said 24hrs. I told them the security asked me to leave. He said the guard must've thought I was someone off the street and to tell him i'm staying here and can use the computers. I told him I don't feel I should have to go explain that to him. He agreed and then said he would. Overall stay here, I felt the staff was rude to me. I witnessed them interact differently with non people of color. Sadly to say, I felt the rudeness from the staff of color!

Clean and comfy rooms but was disappointed in the maintenance department. I had left a necklace in my hotel room and called to see if they could mail it back to me. Spoke with an operator and I could hear the women in the background tell the operator that she was on break and to tell me to leave a message. Operator told me to do so as I heard the maintenance lady in the background say so. Left a message for her with my name and phone number and never even got a call back. Don’t leave anything valuable in this hotel, you may not get it back.

Believe it or not, really quite lovely despite the fact that it is located next to the airport. You would think that because it's next to an airport it is nothing to write home about, but quitrle the contrary. It also features an excellent location with access to many of Crystal City's shopping and dining hot spots.

It's a nice hotel. But the room we're in allows us to clearly hear the elevators and that's not good. Great place otherwise.

The worse hotel I have ever been to. Save your money. You are better of staying at 1star hotel. The room way dirty, there were nasty body hair all over my sheets. I had booked this hotel online. The hotel took my credit card for Security deposit which they paid back in 4 weeks but, They double charged me for the same room that I had prepaid for. They staff were so rude! They charged me $43 for Valet parking & did not even bother to bring my car upfront. They made me walk to my car with my luggage. I called the hotel for refund, but they just simply refused. I had to dispute the charge through my bank. So much hassle for staying at this hotel.

Had to stand at front desk and book online as rate was lower there. Wi-Fi wouldn't work in area where I was trying to work during dinner. No bottled water in my room (supposed to be two bottles). My king sized bed I paid for was two doubles. Everything in the hallway or outside could be heard plain as day.

I had a wonderful time at the event. The lobby and bar area was very clean with a modern design. The parking deck below the hotel left much to be desired, as it is narrow and very small for such a large hotel and the elevators are extremely slow.

Not up to Hilton standards. Restaurant closes at 1 in the afternoon, so saying restaurant on-site is a bit if a stretch. You have to find somewhere else for dinner. Executive lounge is closed on weekends. Both of these facts should have been made available in the Hilton app but was not. Hotel is dated. People were nice, but thus location is definitely off my list for future stays.

Room was clean, but two of the four elevators were out of service. It's showing it's age a bit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient to DCA. It was nicely decorated for Christmas at the time.

There were some very friendly people working here, but overall, the experience wasn't good. When I called for a shuttle, I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone. The shuttle driver was very late and rude. For a hotel right next to the airport, it took him 30 minutes to arrive and there was no one else being picked up. It was supposed to take 10-15 minutes. Then, a whole group of teenagers were staying on my floor. They were slamming doors and playing loud music. The staff handled it when I called it in, I just don't expect that kind of noise in a Hilton.

The hotel stay here sucked. Came here for an event, and one elevator worked. It took 35 min to get to my room by elevator, so my wife and I took the steps to the 9th floor in a suit and gown. When asked about the problem I was told the chief engineer is on the way. That was at 2am. He should have been here long before then. The event coordinator assured me that we will not have the event here again EVER IF SO IM NOT GOING TO BE ATTENDING. I was already Leary about staying at the host hotel but I was being a good husband so my wife wouldn't have to walk anywhere or catch an uber. We have stayed at the HYATT hotel the last 3 years and that's where we will stay from now on.

Staff was extremely rude, fridge was the bathroom door didn't shut two of the three elevators were broken the entire time staff refuse to give me towels charges $35 a day in parking without telling you and had several other hidden fees that they never tell you about. I would not send my dogs ass wiper to stay here.

I was disappointed with this Hilton. When I arrived (10pm) my feather free room wasn't feather free. Took them and hour but they did remove them. I staid for several days and my room wasn't serviced. (I was gone all day and there was no do not disturb). All the basic you would expect from a Hilton. Room was clean (other than no service). It does have an old feel. The soap dish in shower was cracked and a few other minor repair had not been done. Bed was comfortable. Room was decent size.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Shuttle drivers were awesome. Quick and offered to make sure I got where I needed to go. Hotel offered free appetizer and drink because the Executive love was closed for the night.

The staff at this hotel go way above and beyond to get the traveler what they require … P in the Bar is spectacular, … the ladies in the Restaurant are super attentive. And the lounge attendants remember meal choices and wow can't say thank you enough … home away from home and the housekeepers are a blessing.

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was always kind and attentive. One of the ladies on the door remembered me by face during the very busy weekend of the marine corp weekend, and she made sure I knew where I was going and was eager to help outside of the price (which was pretty reasonable just outside of DC) it was pretty good.

Typical hotel experience. Rooms are clean. Has a mini fridge but no microwave. Decent gym upstairs. No pool. Sometimes has free refreshments in the lobby.

My visit at the Hilton Crystal City was prompted by a professional meeting. As a location for this meeting, the conference rooms were set up well, with relatively comfortable seating. Unfortunately, as an overnight guest in the same hotel, the amenities were not nearly as well established. There were no major problems, and this would make a fine location to stay but I imagine there are better locations that are better priced.

Nice rooms, excellent location close to Reagan National. Staff were all very pleasant and professional. Be warned that parking in the garage is extra, but you'll be able to come and go as needed because you can use your room key to enter and exit the garage. Very pleased with the experience during my stay.

King size room. Ac workedbwell. Shower worked as expected. Some of my friends had a tub in there bathroom, that was weird. No free parking $36 a night for parking not included in the room fee. No complementary breakfast. It's $15 per person for breakfast. We didn't eat breakfast here obviously. Complementary Wi-Fi.

Really old. Needs lot of updates. No air circulating in the hallways, very musty, moldy smell. Room AC evidently works on a movement sensor, so when you sleep it cuts off. Bathroom is very small, but adequate. Toilet flushes loud and long — don't expect to sleep. Wish I were at the Embassy Suites. I seriously doubt any Hilton Family members stay here. Lesson learned.

Much better than previous visit, room didn't get mixed up… The rooms were clean. I received some hassle during the check-in when I temporary parked in the front, they really need to designated a short term parking spot for check-in. Executive lounge was not as good as another one I visited. Manager was nice and left a note at my door.

Overall I like this hotel. However when I compared the first time that I stayed there 6 years ago to now it has fallen off a bit. It seems like the rooms have fallen into disrepair and as it is older then some of the hotels that I have stayed in as of late it's even more noticeable. The most important thing about a hotel stay is of course a comfortable bed a very close second is a nice bathroom and shower. The grout in our bathroom was pretty dirty in the shower head sprayed water everywhere. Hopefully they fix that soon. As usual though the staff is really nice so I can't complain too much.

As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I take no vindictive pleasure in saying this was a poor experience. I was very uncomfortable. This hotel is dated and it shows. First, the walls shuddered — — LOUDLY — — every time neighbors shut their doors, so loudly that I could hear it through my earplugs. Second, the electric plug went kaput in the middle of the night and my phone died so I slept through my alarm (I tested to make sure it wasn't my device). Third, the beds are unforgiving. To top it all off, my last morning there I half-consciously stepped into a pool of bathroom water after the toilet tank had leaked all night. One star for pleasant staff but there's no getting around the fact that this was an uncomfortable stay. It was not worth the price paid.

Very old hotel that needs a complete overhaul. The front desk staff were very nice. I can't say the same for the bar staff. Bar staff was not observant of their customers and preferred to pay more attention to other hotel staff working in the coffee shop. I will not stay there again.

Very nice hotel, great staff. The bartender "Sophie" is first rate. I recommend this hotel if in Washington DC.

We reserved a meeting room for an all-day meeting with out of town guests. When we arrived 10 minutes before meeting start, catering hadn't been set up (ie on a coffee or tea in the room and it took several calls just to get basic drinks. The conference room decor was also old, with two air-conditioning "registers" at the opposite side of the same wall making the folks sitting with their backs to that wall frigid, while those of us on other side of room opposite the wall with the units the wall were sweating. Not a terrible place to have a meeting (the lobby coffee Bar was nice) and all staff I encountered were very polite and helpful. And its location mades it perfect for meetings when participants are coming from out of town. Close to airport and close to metro.

This Hilton has an executive lounge for Hilton honors which I love. They have great service and good food. Every bed is comfortable and warm. Easy walking distance from the metro unlike some hotels in D. C. There is a Starbucks just a couple blocks away and a great shuttle from the hotel to the airport. The same shuttle goes from Reagan to the Hilton also.

Nice enough. Staff at desk seems under trained. They overbooked and manager called me at almost 11pm to ask about a reservation for someone I had never heard of. Nice way to wake up. Room is good. Hot water is warm, not hot.

Two words: Room service! I got to stay here the other day after the airline decided I should spend a bonus night in DC. It was a long day of travel and I just wanted go to my room order room service and hopefully be able to get home the next day. No such luck! Room service is not an option. Other than that the room was nice enough especially considering the airline paid for it. I would stay there again but I know to eat before I got there.

This hotel was in easy walking distance to the metro. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was great. They have a pool but it was closed. Bought the bed and breakfast package which included breakfast in the restaurant. The only annoying thing was convincing the server at the restaurant that breakfast was included in our room. After she verified it with the front desk all was well. The second day we had to go through it again.

Location very close to DCA airport. Rooms aging. Upon arriving to room, the remote for the TV was not functioning. After asking cleaning staff for assistance, maintenance promptly arrived with working remote. The door latch on my room door is barely hanging on. Air vent in my bathroom looks like it's never been cleaned as I can see about a 1/4 of dust on it. When running, the A/C unit is louder than a diesel truck engine. Hot water in shower was limited in 12th floor room at 8 am. Bedding/pillows nice, clean and comfortable. If you're a higher level Hilton honors member, access to executive lounge is a nice bonus. Hotel is a three to four block walk to nearest metro station. Shuttle service is available.

Hotel seems a little aged but still in good shape. Plenty to eat in the area. The gym seems neglected. Both times I've been so far they are out of water and low/out of towels. I've called both times and the water still hasn't been refilled by the end of my workout (~45 min). The equipment is decent.

Friendly service, clean and welcoming, short walk to the Crystal City Metro Station, quiet room, complimentary cookies and newspapers. I arrived well before check-in time on the way from the airport to my conference in DC, expecting to store my bag until after 3pm. To my surprise, they allowed me to check in before check-in time, which greatly simplified my day.

Pros: — clean room — friendly staff — airport and local shuttles — walking distance to many dining/shopping options Cons: — Wi-Fi did not work in my room due to being close to their conference rooms — was able to get resolved by talking with front desk — Ethernet did not work (normally wouldn't have even tried except for Wi-Fi issues) — Swithes and outlets are dated — TV Channel guide does not line up with actual channels.

Very nice hotel, service was not the best. I feel that the prices are a bit high too. But not the worst.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and nice, though bathroom is small. Great location in Crystal City, five blocks from metro and close to airport. Free airport shuttle on demand and also to nearby locations if requested. Love the front desk staff who are always warm and welcoming.

The staff here were very helpful. There made room for our big truck on a cross country road trip.

My wife and I got married here. The staff was great throughout the entire weekend and the newly renovated ballrooms looked nice.

Hotel is old, bathrooms don't even have a vent. Bed I'd comfy and pillows are great. Slept well. TV has HDMI inputs. It's close to a lot of stuff so that's good.

This hotel should not be baring the Hilton name. I would equate the front desk staff's friendliness during check-in to a fast food cashier. While in my room I could clearly hear all the activities going on in the hallway. I've actually experienced a more pleasant stay at lower star rated hotels. The $26.00 parking fee is the bonus charge you'll find out upon your arrival. Parking is under ground and compact so if you're not a skilled driver and find it difficult cutting sharp turns you may want to reconsider. The best part of my stay was the attentiveness I received from a lady who worked in the tiny restaurant located near the lobby who helped me acquire a microwave after the front desk staff told me there were none available with-in the hotel.

No swimming pool and the slowest internet I've experienced in a Hilton. This hotel is not worthy to be called a Hilton hotel.

2 Adults/2 Kids Please note the pool here is closed. They do not have a pool. I know there are pictures online. They even have photos in the lobby of their beautiful rooftop pool but it does not exist. There was a pool at one time but it is permanently closed. There is an exercise room however. Getting Around: It's very easy to get around from this Crystal City Location. It is about. 6 miles to the Metro. The hotel will call cabs for you. Be careful though. Some of the cabs do not have a meter inside. They are recommended by the hotel concierge. We paid $22.50 for a cab to Georgetown Cupcakes. He overcharged us quite a bit. Metro Subway — There is a "DC Metro and Bus" app for your phone that is all about the Metro. It is worth it if you use your phone during DC travel. The closest metro subway from the hotel is. 6 miles away. Figuring out your way on the metro is easy. If you have several people sharing a cab the price is about the same as if you took a metro to some places with door to door service. Rooms — Nothing special about the rooms. They are kind of tired. Our shower was broken. The bathroom had a weird pipe noise but it did not usually last that long. The beds in the room are firmer but comfortable. The shower has hot water. There are not a ton of electrical outlets. There is not alot of storage space in a double bed room. They have a fridge and a safe in the room. Our view overlooked another building wall. Food — I cannot say what the food here is like.

The pool is closed, our air conditioner sounds like a weed waker, the shower dosent have a vent and is extremely small so it's a steam room. This place is not a very good hotel at all.

Very poor service to and from the airport with the shuttle very poor service to the Pentagon with the shuttle service. I would not recommend staying here.

Toilet in the room was broken, wallpaper was ripped off the walls, and the sink had hair in it. Didn't feel clean or up to the Hilton standard.

The staff, location, and facilities of this Hilton are exceptional. On a recent stay Ms. Francisca Campos was so indispensable, I have changed my future meetings and venues from Marriotts to Hiltons. I'm not kidding. Hats off to Banquet, AV, and Front Desk. You've made my seminar a huge success, welcoming my guests and treating them with the utmost professionalism and service.

Parking: Perfect alternative for parking as opposed to the overcrowded, overpriced, over flooded Reagan National parking lot. The only issue was that I had to call to get a driver to pick us up (and they only have 1). Rooms: Not sure I didn't stay there. However the lobby was very nice and seemed fully renovated within the last couple of years. And I don't mean that "man this looks like construction was just done" type of renovation. The lobby is fresh and new.

Stayed here for 4th of July and it was awesome! I saw reviews that stated the hotel was outdated but there was nothing outdated about my visit. I wasn't too pleased that I had to pay the parking fee but I did feel safe knowing my vehicle was secure in their parking garage. It was close to everything and we found it easy to walk everywhere. The staff were kind and hospitable and gave us great advice for where to watch the fireworks. My only complaint was that I was told my friend who was arriving before me would be able to get into the room as long as their name was on the room and they showed ID (I was arriving after them and I was paying for the room) I was pretty upset when I found out this was not the case since I was told on two separate occasions that they could. They were able to buy time before I arrived but still frustrating. However, just a very minor bump in the weekend, the rest went completely smoothly and wonderfully.

We had a meeting here a couple weeks ago. What a great hotel! The people were very nice and the food was great. Plus being able to walk from the metro. Wow! Perfect.
