Love my stay here. The staff was not only caring but truly took care of all my needs. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and family.

UPDATE — Thank you for correcting this wrong and refunding the deposit! This goes a long way! How disappointing that you did not refund the deposit for Honor Flight when they needed to cancel months in advance thru no fault of their own — I personally will not support a hotel chain (Westin) that does not do right by our military and veterans.

We are a military family who have had the privilege of supporting Honor Flight and participating as Guardians to these heroes. Shame on you Westin Crystal City. Not only disrespectful to those who have sacrificed so much for all of us, but an extremely poor business model. Hope that $625 tides you over… the loss of business as this goes viral will surely be a mistake you regret.

Just heard they made a Veterans charity forfeit their $625 group dinner deposit for October. Their flight was moved to BWI by airline. This is hard to believe. Please choose a different hotel until these people apologize, refund their deposit and generously reward them for helping OUR veterans.

Check in was simple and fast. The staff are very attentive. Rooms are very nice and the robes are comfortable.

We stayed here based on price and proximity to DC. The staff was freaking amazing and very accommodating. The room was great and they were very kind to us during check in. They made me feel important and that I wasn’t just a person renting a room. It was my second time ever visiting DC (I’m 34 and have lived in VA my entire life) and it was mine and my husband’s first trip to DC together and he agreed it was one of the best hotels we have stayed at and we do a LOT of traveli…ng for the speed skating team he coaches. We will use this hotel again anytime we are in DC and will recommend it to everyone on our team when we travel to the area as a group. The only issue we stumbled upon was the parking garage ticket dispenser was out of tickets but the staff quickly rectified the issue and were very apologetic for something that they would have had no way to know had someone not told them anyway.
The AC didn’t get REALLY cold either but we typically keep our house like an icebox and don’t always expect hotels to be able to get as cold as we like. I wish I could give them 10 stars because this place is phenomenal and there is good food within walking distance (just a few blocks).

Amazing hotel. I found this hotel after abruptly checking out of a nightmare hotel 10 minutes away. They were accommodating and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel.

The staff here are very hospitable. Despite walking in at 3am, I was immediately greeted, offered water, and accommodated. This alone makes me want to stay with them again if I ever do go back to this city.

The hotel is decently priced and provides a close proximity to many public transportation hubs and easy access to the Washington DC area. Staff are very respectful and work hard to make your stay enjoyable, to include a shuttle that can run you to and from the airport. Also very close to many restaurants and a cute commercial spot. Definitely a place I will use again when I travel to the DC area.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms are nice, clean, and modern, and the staff is excellent. At check in, the front desk staff member took the time to notice that my initial room was next to the ice machine and took it upon himself to relocate me somewhere better. At breakfast, the servers were very friendly and attentive. My only two minor gripes about my stay were that my room key stopped working on the elevator (which was fixed with a quick stop at the front desk) and that the breakfast buffet was a little sparse on options. Fortunately, it was included in my room rate, but if I had paid the $17+ they were asking for that buffet, I would have felt like I got a poor value for my money.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a good value for the price. There is a decent hotel bar and the room has all the normal accommodations you would expect. The reasons for not giving 5 stars would be that the room was small and a little dated. The hotel is still a great value for what you get and I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel. Had a couple of disappointing experiences. Overall a quiet visit. Frequently visit Crystal City very close to metro which is convenient. Staff very friendly. Nice restaurant.

Absolutely great services! Staffs were really friendly and helpful. Very observant and quick. Room was clean and the blankets — — the weight on you makes you feel safe.

The staff was so incredibly kind. The workout room makes me wish I would have had time to exercise. Definitely a great place to stay for the crystal city-DC area.

Location is great and love the super late check out time. Metro station is walkable distance as well as some bars. Room was updated and lobby is nice.

My husband and I stayed here on our second night in our weekend getaway. I’m from Montreal and the Westin in Montreal is gorgeous. You think Westin, you think posh, clean, and sophisticated. Not at this location. The staff at the front desk were so rude and not personal. The keys didn’t work in the elevator and didn’t work at our door. Had to go downstairs to get a new set, which those keys didn’t work either. Called the front desk and the girl said she’d send the engineer. Okay. Fine. After that, the keys worked. When I was placing my toiletries in the bathroom, I saw bugs crawling on the counter top with bath towels underneath. Grossed me out and didn’t want to shower. The room did not have a mini fridge. I have never heard a hotel that didn’t offer a mini fridge. The pillows are actually awful. I have never slept on soft pillows. It felt like I wasn’t even sleeping on pillows. That’s how thin they were. Will not be going back. Had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Capitol.

Very nice hotel. The food in the Mediterranean restaurant is excellent! Staff are friendly and courteous. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Nice showers! Only complaint is that there were several people on our floor that ran through hallway, yelling and talking, and slamming doors until 3:15 am. This was very annoying as I could not sleep and had to be up at 4:00 am to catch an early morning flight.

Helpful friendly staff, rooms are very clean. Breakfast buffet is 19.00 with tax. Not worth it. To expensive. Wifi is not free unless you are a rewards program member, you should sign up it's easy. No microwave in any rooms. Fridges are only in some rooms. They have a full bar in the lobby, drinks are between 8-20$. The TV movie channels are not free. News and basic channels are free. They have safes. Great upper floor gym with great views. Lots of complimentary fruits and bottle water. Also have an airport shuttle.

Super friendly staff at check in and room service. Rooms are typical Starwood. Comfy bed, nice shower, clean and modern design. Breakfast was good, but there's also lots of shops and a Starbucks across the street in the office/ mall. Location was great for my meetings with an easy walk across the street to Crystal City and a very easy uber to and from the airport. Less than 10 minutes.

My stay was satisfactory. They have airport pick up and drop. Nice rasturant inside. Charming staff. Clean big rooms.

I recently stayed in this hotel over the Easter holiday. Upon arrival I was racially profiled and completely rushed off from the women checking us in. Upon arrival to the floor of our room you were immediately met with a horrible smell and food in the hallway. In my room there was feces smeared on the toilet and the room was very dusty. Since I was in a rush to get ready for our plans that night I used my cleaner I brought to clean the toilet and dust. Upon arrival back from those plans I heard a dog barking which barked all night long. When I called the front desk there wasn’t a manger on duty but one called me the next morning. He explained that I was on a pet friendly floor and that I could move my room. Why would the person checking us in put us on the floor with pets? I certainly didn’t have any pets. Maybe she thinks that black people are animals? I have since asked for my money back for that night and the hotel won’t return my calls. I will never stay in another Westin Hotel again. You shouldn’t either!

This is a first class Hotel and it was my first time staying at a Westin Hotel. My stay there was absolutely great. The staff was polite and professional.

The hotel is OK, a bit dirty and old but not the worst. By far the best thing though is just how close you are to the subway stations — one stop away from the airport and a few stops away from all the museums, downtown and Arlington cemetery. Great place to stay if you're visiting the city.

We always choose the Westin when we have an early flight out of DCA. We can keep our car there for less then the airport and their convenient shuttle service takes and picks you up. I highly recommend the Westin!

Location is great, right by the metro line. The surrounding area is very safe and clean. There are restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are just average, there is no closet in the room and we had to ask for a fridge.

I am writing this review sitting on the lobby of the hotel. They were very polite and courteous all along. I would like to mention Mellisa who was very compassionate and active during the situation. Special thanks to the ownership group and all the stuff of this hotel for helping me to spot my luggage.

Convenient to get to downtown. Comfortable beds. A workout space right across the hall. Knowledgeable international staff.

It is in the middle of Crystal City near a local shopping center with a lot of food options. The rooms have two comfortable beds, a television, and an overhead shower with a removable attachment. The service has been alright, the staff was a little rude with breakfast though.

I've stayed here before but this was my first time in the 4th floor. The quality of room was significantly lower here than any other room I've ever had here. Scratched up furniture. No refrigerator. And a very nice who blasted music at 6:30 in the morning.

The parking charge of $34 is outrageous. I also paid for a breakfast coupon which was the biggest joke of my life. I ordered room service and it took about a hour to get it. The room was nice but I swore I had better service at the holiday inn.

Rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. It was nice after a day of travel. Shower was very nice, with rainfall head and separate wand. Great workout room as well.

I stayed at the hotel for a night. Everything was as expected and enjoyed staying at this hotel. The concierge was very nice and friendly.

Great room very comfortable nice staff. However parking was expensive it was $36 non valet per night so keep that in mind when you're going to stay there.

Beautiful lobby. Attended a conference here. Conference room was large and nice except not enough seats. I came in late and no one in the conference offered to get more seats so I could sit down. Later, the conference took a 5 min break, during which I spoke to a colleague and didnt get a chance to grab the refreshments that were directly outside the room. Once the break ended the food and drinks that were once outside the room were taken away by the staff. I was disappointed they didn't leave the refreshments for people after the 5 minute break. My general feel was this place is beautiful for conferences but staff need to be more considerate to visitor needs.

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was horrible. In one of my stay the lights went out and the staff did not accommodate for the inconvenience. All of my food in the fridge went bad. Without the AC working the whole night we had to inhale the moldy smell of the room and to top it off, the manager (Grace) did not seem like she was prepare to provide me with excellent customer service for our inconvenience since all she suggested was to offer me with a 1k reward points for awful stay. I would advise the Westin to offer their managers better customer services training. It's a shame the level of service I was given for the reputation of the Westin. I've always considered this chain of hotel as an elite when booking my stay but that may no longer be the case. Please be advise when booking this hotel in Crystal City. It may not be worth the price.

The rooms and service were great. After leaving my jacket with keys, cash and cards inside, I called back and they were able to retrieve it and mailed it to me free of charge. The cash was gone (I didn't say they were perfect) however I'm just thankful to have all my other items. Happy Customer.

It is a very attractive hotel when you walk in and the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately, our AC was not functioning properly in the room and even a repeated request received no resolution. And although we were out of the room from 930-330 housekeeping never serviced our room.

The hotel was very clean throughout. Lots of nice details, such as the extra soft napkins with a late dinner. The dinner stood out as well — a nicely prepared and seasoned pork tenderloin.

Lovely hotel. I can't get up lol. The bed is so comfy. Parking is pricey $34 but your car is good and safe and covered. Decor is nice. I'll stay again. Thank you. Customer service is very friendly!

The room was all set when we got there before normal check in. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We had an amazing time and plan to stay again the next time we visit. We are also recommending them to everyone we know who travels to Washington D. C.

Great hotel situated 3 miles south of the national Mall. The beds are comfy, service is great and the rooms are lovely. We had a small issue upon checking in and immediately changed our room. When we went downstairs to buy toiletries, one of the ladies downstairs offered some complementary items instead. The metro stop is just around the corner and it only took about 15 minutes to the Reagan center and the Smithsonian museums nearby.

Our stay was EXCELLENT. We had a perfect king size room extremely comfortable. All stay were welcoming. Three days in a row, Sephian ( (sp? ) was an excellent server. Very friendly. Made us feel like we were friends! This location is very close to the Metro making sight seeing convenient. We will return again!

The stay was great. The only problem I had was the breakfast. I ordered the three egg breakfast and the menu said they used cage free eggs. I ordered my eggs scrambled and when I received them, they looked like liquid eggs. I was hungry and didn't want to send the food back but I can't eat liquid eggs. I ate a little bit in hopes that I wouldn't have a reaction. I wasn't so lucky. Two hours later my stomach was cramping among other things. We called the front desk to tell them what happened and they insisted that they use real eggs. Smh. Someone needs to talk to the chef about cutting corners trying to save money. Shame on you for lying on the menu!

Standard Hotel with meeting rooms. Remarkably, we can walk from the airport, which is really special. No other surprises.

Is the best hotel I have ever stayed. The room was perfect. The service from the airport-hotel-airport was the best. All the personnel was very kind, respectful and pleasant, A+++++. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Many thanks to Daniel, at the front desk, he always received us with the best attentions. The Westin Crystal City was a pleasant stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, I am knocking one star off for the $30/day parking that costs more than that if you leave for the day and come back. For a 2 night stay, I was charged a total of $74 in parking fees. Buyer beware: For a two-bed non-smoking room in Crystal City, I paid a total (room + park) of $293 here. Another star off for the removable shower head that soaked our bathroom upon turning on the shower for the first time. The cleaning staff perhaps forgot to divert the water to the permanent shower head as well as forgetting to aim the removable showerhead away from the user. This was unpleasant and avoidable, in my opinion.

Creative "premium" room upgrade that didn't feel like an upgrade at all. Room has no frige, had to call to get one. Would only leave microwave at the lobby instead of in room. Room smelled, maybe it was from the old carpet. Heater has no heat but only cool air, very few channel choices. Building on the other side of street is under construction, so there was a lot of noise since very early morming. Also this hotel did not honor any of starwood or Westin brand promotions even when showed as participating on corporate websites. Overall, this stay was below my average Westin experience.

The hotel room and service was great and the food was awesome as well. The only catch about this hotel is they do not reserve your room for you forever. We ran into this problem and had to switch rooms so make sure you get to your room quick.

We had a great two night stay at the Westin Crystal City. The hotel is conveniently located near Reagan airport as well as near a metro station. Hotel parking is not free but there is public parking across the street that is free on the weekend. The hotel was very nice, the rooms were clean and the staff was welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

This review is strictly dedicated to the overpriced parking at this hotel. I wasn't even staying here as a guest. I came to visit a friend that was visiting from out of town. I found the hotel location without any issues. However, $30 for 2 or more hours of parking is ludicrous in my opinion. I understand that there is street parking available, IF you can find said street parking. Sheesh. Nope, I have my own garage at home, I'm not trying to give anyone else my money for overpriced & inflated pricing. I understand that one will pay for parking, but this is highway robbery at its finest. Never again. The actual lobby area of the hotel is really elegant and sleek. However the bar closes around 10 or 11pm I believe (when we arrived circa 12am they were closed). The idea of a bar closing inside of a 24 hour hotel venue never ceases to amaze me. Seriously. People are checking-in at all times of the day and I'm sure most of those night check-ins paying customers would appreciate a nightcap before turning in. Crazy. Based on this review (without even seeing the rooms) I probably wouldn't recommend or stay here, unless my company was fronting the bill.

Very nice hotel. The surrounding area was not very pleasing as there was road work and construction around the area, but that was a very minor issue. Staff was nice, and very accomodating. Rooms very comfortable.

Wow, where to begin. Had a reservation for 4th of July weekend, only to discover upon arrival that we had been removed from the list. The creepy, awkward girl behind the desk, starting shouting at us with a deranged constipated look on her face, claiming we had never made a reservation. Eventually, some midget manager showed up and wasn't much of a help either. We ended up staying at the Hyatt. Horrible place. Don't stay there.

Very nice modern hotel! Fixed right in the heart of Arlington, VA and the commute to DC was super short Beds were amazing, Room was clean! Shower head= OMG, such a relaxing stay! Only drawback was the parking situation, be prepared to spend $30.00 a night to park. Parking anywhere is NOT an option : (Unless you have time to search the streets of Arlington for " free" parking :)

Expected a much nicer room! 13 dollars for Wi-Fi is outrageous! 4 dollars for a bottle of water in my room is also ridiculous. Nickel and diming at its finest.

Great location. It's close to metro station and just several minutes driving to Washington DC. Spacious room and good service. You have to pay 28 bucks separately for parking in the garage.

SCAM! I travel every month and this hotel is the worst hotel in my life. I had a long transit at the DCA airport on Aug/4/2015, so I made a reservation at the Westin Crystal city to take a nap. I already prepaid and when I got to the hotel, they refused to check me in because I had a temporary credit card (I lost my card on the trip so my bank quickly gave me a temporary card). So I asked if there is any other option because I got $2000 of cash with me too, but they just asked me to leave. When I asked for the refund on the $200 I prepaid, they said I booked a non-cancel reservation so they could not do the refund. I had to go to the hotel next door and pay $400 to stay like 6 hours. I was so upset but still tried to call a couple time to ask for the refund, and they just keep saying they will not and hang up. Honestly, I feel really really bad about this. Why would a famous brand name do this to their customer, is that 200 dollars really important to them over their reputation? I was refused stay, It was not that I did not show up for the reservation and still get charge. I feel like I should not be treated that way. I will never consider The Westin again and EVERYONE, PLEASE THINK TWICE WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR STAY HERE!

Stayed here for the Marine Corp Marathon. Staff was wonderful and the room was great. Love the mattresses they use as well as the shower head/sprayer. Would never know you're so close to an airport it's super quiet. Breakfast was so-so and the restaurant staff weren't the best. Made us wait a while for a high chair and forgot to bring us stuff we asked for. This is super close to the crystal city metro though so I would definitely stay here again.

It was pretty good. They shoved coupons for free food under the door at night like santa claus. But the fire alarm went off and wouldnt shut off even after we called the front desk and we were forced to flee our rooms and wander the cold rainy streets. And they were pretty bad about bringing fresh towels. Which is a big deal for me.

Great rooms for the price 15 mins from national harbor. Did I mention the rooms are nice. Did not want to spend the 400 dallors a nite for them national harbor hotels. This worked out fine.

Moses is the man, this "Mike" fellow that runs the place should be replaced by Moses after the excellent service I received from him. The shuttle guy was great. This hotel is spotless! Amazing location. The only thing I would change is Mike.

Hotel was very clean staff friendly this was my 1st visit coming from rockymount nc so I was looking for something extra but over all location was great (Macy) Ladies was ard the corner.

Exactly what you'd expect from the Westin. Beds were comfy, room was nice, shower didn't get very hot though.

I love this hotel, it's very well decorated with modern furniture, The food at the restaurant is very great, specially the breakfast, I loved the Belgian waffles and omelet too, BUT the only problem with this hotel is the insulation, the walls are not very well insulated, you could hear every noises, shower and other activities from above and next door, other than that, everything is great with this place.

VERY convenient location for vacationers to DC! Very helpful and friendly staff! Very clean, room was nice and good sized. Shuttle to and from airport. Metro station is like a half block from hotel! Many very good restaurants within walking distance at all price ranges/something for everyone.

Not as advertised. No longer do they have an exec club and restaurant has changed. Place is noisy from highway, airport, and lifts. I was on upper floor and furthest from the lift.
