Hampton Inn is my go to hotel. We're almost never disappointed. Affordable, clean, and they offer free breakfast. That said, this one is undergoing renovations and it shows. There's no vent fan in the bathroom and the door jam is rusting. The elevator had temporary paneling hung. There are places where the painters didn't bother to tape around metal fixtures. It definitely needs the renovations. The breakfast was on par with the franchise standard. It's still an acceptable place to lay my head.

I booked my trip here through costco travel. The price I felt was good for staying 4 days and being only a few miles away from DC. Only big issue I had was the fact that I had to pay an extra $100 when I got there for parking (25 a day). Looking it up after I found out that this is common for hotels in cities, but this is my second trip I ever take so I was not aware of this fact. I don't blame the hotel, but I do feel they should reach out to travel agents to include that fact, because I would have factored that in when looking for what hotel I would stay at. Aside from that, the staff was friendly, breakfast was always good and plentiful.

Front desk service was bad from the moment I asked them about airport shuttle service. When I asked about airport shuttle, the front desk person, Ebony, told me where to wait. After ten minutes of waiting, I called again to see where the shuttle was and she said I had to request for it. Hello! That is why I called earlier! Didnt feel the front desk staff that afternoon were very service oriented. I wanted to talk to the hotel manager but I was just staying one night. Would have appreciated front desk, who is a face of the hotel, to look for ways to make me feel good about staying at Hampton Inn. Other than that initial experience, the hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and lastly, the hotel shuttle gave us a ride to the nearby hotel we transferred to.

Near Crystal City metro, airport, etc. Fantastic locations, and the value ratio relative to price is as good as you'll get in the neighborhood. Pentagon city mall is also within a mile. It's a Hampton Inn, so it's not the fanciest thing on earth, but you will likely be satisfied with what you get here. I did not bring a car (and you shouldn't need one), and stayed here for a conference at the Marriott Crystal Gateway, which was $100 more per night. I was happy with my choice.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only thing was in my room the air conditioning didn't seem to work that well. We adjusted the temperature upon arrival, and I don't think it ever really changed. Other then that, very pleasant!

So we had a good check in process here. Staff was nice. Room seemed a little warm so we kept the a/c on full cold. At 1230am we cpuldnt take it and ended up carrying out sleeping kids to a new room a few doors down. Ended up the first room had a faulty unit stuck on emergency heat and wouldn't allow it to be in true a/c cold mode. Due to the night time debacle and too much sleep lost, the hotel compted our parking.

I only stayed a single night in this hotel, but I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The shower did take a while to get hot, but it got there eventually. I used the hotel shuttle to get to and from the airport and both trips went well. The hotel is also within walking distance of many restaurants, which is nice. This was my first and only time staying in the area so I don't have much to compare it to and it was pricey, but so are the other hotels near the airport. Overall, I would stay here again.

Conviently priced hotel located in Virginia but minutes away from D. C. They offer a free shuttle service that brings you to and from Regan Airport. The free shuttle also brings you to anything within 2 miles of the hotel. This includes multiple malls and restaurants. Complimentary, hot breakfast is served, buffet style, for guests every morning. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. This hotel is a win-win situation when visiting the Virginia/D. C. Area.

Good place to stay while exploring the DC area. The one bedroom suite was roomh and comfortable. The pull out couch was decently comfortable even though it was a thin mattress. Pool and fitness center kind of small. Staff helpful.

Good hotel. Close to many restaurants. Two blocks from the subway. The shops and restaurants at the Crystal City Mall have very good prices.

Front desk staff has no professionalism of how to speak to the customer. Ebony just rambles on and on. They need to work on listening skills and hold off their mouth from talking over the customer.

I always had very convenient and pleasant stay here. Location is very good and practical. Total costs are better than to stay in DC area. Rooms are also always clean and sized enough, even for longer stay. Breakfast rich and tasty, variouse range of fresh fruits, oatmeal,, cornflakes, etc. Staff has been polite and friendly at all time. So, I would wish to be in Hampton Inn DCA back again.

Good, clean hotel. Decent breakfast for all guests. Can be pricey depending on what's happening in town.

Lodging for our three day four night visit to DC was our biggest expense, so I was more inclined to be critical. However, we were very pleased with the hotel all around. Super clean. Friendly staff. Awesome complimentary continental breakfast daily with lots of food options. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate station 24/7 in lobby area (complimentary). Small workout room and indoor pool if you’re not too busy checking out DC during your stay. Subway station about four blocks from the hotel to get you to the National Mall area and other attractions. Fridge and microwave in our room (may only be by request). Numerous restaurants, a small shopping mall, and drug store within a short walking distance.

Pleasant stay at this hotel with no issues. Comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Good AC unit in the room. Good coffee. Good breakfast. I would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel close to DC points of interest. The Hampton Inn was very convenient with a parking garage below. The sleeping area was clean and everything looked like it had been kept up to date. I noticed the bathrooms in the rooms hadn't been updated in a while but not a big complaint. Would stay here again.

Very comfortable bed and accommodations. We were very pleased with the breakfast buffet. It had everything — fruit, bagels, english muffins, juice, two meat choices, cereals, oatmeal, hot cocoa, coffee, tea, waffles, and eggs. I'm sure I left something out. Very clean.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites at Reagan National Airport for business. It was convenient to the locations I needed to visit during my trio. The employees were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Reasonable accommodations, a better than average continental breakfast, clean sheets and decent coffee. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean. Complimentary bottles of water were provided, and the staff was very polite. The TV remote I felt was not very responsive, but that's not a huge deal. I did not like the light fixtures in the bathroom considering you could see exposed conduit and wiring through the grate. Overall a nice hotel.

Great breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are modern and similar to other great Hampton Inns.

It's an OK place. My room is a double for 4 persons with two queen beds. It's clean and the beds are v comfy but there's no closet to hang my clothes. Bathroom is clean and with a tub. Breakfast is average but pork or ham is usually on the menu which is forbidden for me.

Room was immaculate, bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi was terrible. I was on the 5th floor and the connection got worse the higher you went. Also kept cutting out and I had to manually reconnect it.

Very nice hotel near Washington DC.

We had a little problem with our room on arrival, Priceline had booked us into the wrong room. The staff worked very well with us to make everything right. The hotel has since been perfect. Great pool with a lifeguard, very clean rooms and a great breakfast. We were grateful to stay here. Walking distance to great food and some convenience stores. Easy to reach in traffic.

We enjoyed a one bedroom suite for three people. There was lots of room and we were comfortably not on too of each other. Free breakfast is good although it's all pre-made food stuff. You can make your own waffle. Location is good since you're right across the street from the metro. One block over is all kinds of restaurants and bars. Overall a great hotel.

Booked the one-day suite for 2 nights. Living area was __huge__. Lots of counterspace in wetbar area and in bathroom. Bed in bedroom was comfy enough. Pullout couch was typical. The hotel was crazy busy but we didn't have hardly any cross-reference noise. Breakfast included a variety of eggs, potato and sausage though the exact variety changes morning to morning. Lots of toppings for the waffle machine. Wish they had more than 1 type of yogurt. Shuttle from airport took forever — after waiting 45 min, the hotel front desk agreed to pay for a cab. Other than that, a pretty flawless stay.

Very nice! Suite was roomy and spacious. Customer service did a great job checking us in early. Would recommend this place to friends and family. Close to all the night spots and restaurants!

Traveled recently here with the family. Usually stay at Hampton's across the country and I am a HH member. Rooms are fairly clean but the service was terrible and information on the hotel was incorrect. Reserved three rooms for 4 nights. Used HH app to select rooms immediately near each other but on a higher floor. Called the morning of the first night to see if they had rooms on a lower floor immediately next to each other. They said yes and proceeded to re-book the rooms, when we arrived none of the rooms they re-booked were next door to each other. They also said that they had no connecting rooms (because we had younger kids) but they said they had no such rooms. Funny thing is that our room we were booked in had a shared door. Room service was running late most days and would still be in our rooms at 5-6 pm when we got back to the hotel. Check-in parking was a disaster due to construction and was never mentioned to us ahead of time. Pool hours are very limited because of the life guard requirement. When I complained to the front desk it was just blown off as "Oh really? " Will never stay there again. I never had this many issues at a Hampton or a Hilton.

Clean and quiet room. I was worried about noise from close by Reagan airport, but was pleasantly surprised.

Hotel was ok. There was a lot of motorcyclist in town and staying at the hotel who were very loud and obnoxious but the hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

Older hotel, still they try to maintain it well. Over night before my flight in the morning, location was prefect. 8 minutes ride shuttle to airport.

Great hotel. Was able to park for free overnight behind the hotel. Walking distance from many neat restaurants. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Only minor thing was that TV kept switching from HDMI to their programmed pay per view menu, such that it was unusable.

I called to ask about room availability & said someone else would call to reserve. Hampton reservation person said to hold with my credit card # & then have reserving person update with their card #. Person reserving room did followed instructions. We arrived at hotel at which point BOTH CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS WERE CHARGED, a problematic reality for my checking account. I have found no way to communicate with Hampton Inn corporate about this matter. If a representative of Hampton Inn would like to communicate with me about this, I would be happy to remove this post & to improve the rating.

Very nice hotel. Stayed overnight before an early flight. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was large. The airport shuttle started at 4:30am, which was helpful.

Good so far after 1 night. Rooms are kind of small and you have to call the hotel to be picked up by the shuttle. Pretty clean and got breakfast selection.

Room was great. Clean and roomy. Staff is nice and helpful. Hotel is close to the train to go into the city.

Great value close to everything dc has to offer. Love the breakfast and large comfortable room. I have stayed here four or five times now.

Awesome motel! Great service! Staff was super nice! 4th time staying at this motel! Breakfast buffet, which is included in your stay, is outstanding!

Before we went out to visit the city I tipped the housekeeper and asked her to change ALL linen, when we returned most of the linen was where we left it. (Piled on the couch). She didn't thoroughly clean the bathroom and couldn't have vacuumed the floor. I called the front desk and complained, the next morning that housekeeper confronted me about my complaint. The next day we didn't get our linen until we called down to the front desk and asked for it. That was after 4pm and after the floor housekeeper had cleaned the other rooms which no one was staying in. We stayed 5 days and that was how we were treated. There is more but I'll spare further details. I called the GM, she offered me a "BE MY GUEST" pass for one free stay. I am use to Southern Hospitality, not at this location. Truly unhappy guests!

My teenage daughter and I stayed for three nights on Labor Day weekend, and we loved it. The room was very clean and smelled fresh, the free breakfast buffet was outstanding, and there was 24 hour (very good) coffee in the lobby. We also had complimentary Wi-Fi and a very nice flat-screen TV in our room. We were a short walk from the Metro, and the airport shuttle got us from and to Ronald Reagan airport. We would definitely stay here again when we visit DC.
