Somebody who works overnight at the register at this hotel is fraudulently charging stolen bank card numbers.
My bank card was charged last night from this location yet I am nowhere near this place.
I traced the charge to this hotel.
What type of people do you have working here?
I will be contacting the local police to investigate this matter. I called to speak to a manager and was given 5 excuses why I couldn’t speak to them.

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was decent, and the staff was nice enough. You might not notice the elevator is extremely small because it breaks every other minute. So, you'll likely use the stairs quite a bit. This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for having a baby in tow and all the extras that come with that. The ceiling is so low in the hallway my 5'3" wife could touch it. The luggage cart (which I could only use on the way in because of the broken elevator) fought as hard as it could to not go in a straight line and required quite a bit of force to even move when loaded. Maybe I could look past all of that if it weren't for those damn front doors. One opens in the center and the next to the side. This results in an awkward transition in and out of the building and exits leaving you facing a pole. With all that said, this is a great place to stay if you're traveling light for business.

I was not an overnight guest here but visiting a guest so my experience was not extensive. Good location to get into the city and good price from what I understand. Although the microwave did malfunction while I was there.

Not one of the better-managed Comfort Inns. The staff seemed unhappy (I heard several grumbling or showing signs of discontent). Corners were being cut in food freshness (bananas) or available time before breakfast really ended. Maintenance and fixtures were being allowed to lapse: some outlets did not work, and our room was humid even when it was cold, so the air conditioner had not been maintained. The beds were much harder and lumpier than usual Comfort Inn beds. If worker pay or merit raises are also being cut, this could explain the bitterness that I saw. The breakfast room and lemon water look nice, but they don't cover up the deeper problems that regular Choice Hotels members will notice. Maybe it is under new management, or needs it. However, at the end of it all, the desk staff were excellent: very cordial and helpful in as I was making local logistical arrangements.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean, quiet and near restaurants and shops. A great place to stay when visiting Washington DC.

I stay here a lot, the staff is friendly, they have a parking lot that you can fit a box truck in comfortably and the rooms are clean. There are several restaurants close by as well. They have a shuttle service as well, but I have never used it.

Very clean the beds are very comfortable the staff is great Mrs Angel was awesome I will definitely be back when ever I’m in the area.

Very large room and complete with comfort, comfy beds. Average price. Very good cleaning.

We stayed here for 5 nights while looking for house rentals. The front desk kindly allowed us to extend 2 nights without any issue. We had our dog with us as well and they put us on the first floor for convenience. But this also meant we heard alot of noise from the lobby. I think there may have been a big group of families there as well with teenagers and young children roaming the hallways. The breakfast was good every morning and we took advantage of coffee and ice cold water to fill our water bottles throughout the day.

The employees were very polite and courteous and the hotel was well kept.

We couldn't get the temperature in the room to a comfortable level. The Wi-Fi didn't work. The plug next to the bed to charge my phone was broken. There were ants in the room. The people at the front desk just seemed to accept that as the way things are.

Great place to stay! Perfect rooms, all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definatetly recommend this place.

Good hotel! Good service! A little noisy at night, made it hard to sleep, but otherwise good clean stay for the price.

My wife and I checked in around 3:30pm. We decided to take a short nap before going back out. About 45 minutes later I wake up and feel something crawling on my hand. It was a small ant. We started to look around and found a whole colony of ants congregated on one of the night stands and traveling to and from somewhere. We notified the front desk, and they offered to give us another room. We politely declined and just asked for a refund. They promised to refund us on the condition that we vacate the premises within 10 minutes. Luckily I had already packed our belongings and was halfway out the door by then. Terrible experience. We will never go back.

We took a group of 100 to stay for 4 nights. Considering what we paid the place was very nice and clean. There was a small workout studio that had treadmill, cycle, and elliptical. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Loved the location, clean, wonderful staff, especially Ms. Angel! Would stay there again and recommend it to others! Easy access to bus and metro system! Great breakfast each morning!

Rented a room here and was charged $150 for smoking in the room… That we never smoked in. Staff refused to talk to us and complaints to management went nowhere. Would rate 0 stars for helping themselves to money they had to right to take.

Rooms were large and clean. Hotel staff were all very helpful. Contential breakfast has plenty to choose from.

I toured the DC area with a party of 9 people from Indiana, the Amish. As the driver, I suggested the Choice Hotels in the area. We had a wonderful stay overnight after a long exhausting trip from the Midwest. The rooms were large and accommodations were very good. They were equally impressed with the fact that they could easily do laundry, so they could further travel down the coast to Virgina Beach later that afternoon.

Our room was very clean. The amenities were fine. They have a shuttle van. The staff was more then helpful and courteous. I would stay here again.

Hotel is average for the area and price. Decent breakfast, gym could use some updating and/or repairs. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful if you need anything.

A bit out from the busy areas. But a quiet place to stay. May get some noise if your on the side of MacDonald's. Prices are not bad. Internet was a bit flaky.

It is a good hotel and the staff is very polite and helpful. The place is located near many shopping centres so easy to buy things you need. The hotel also provides shuttle service to nearmost metro station in case you need.

Friendly staff, but that’s the only upside. Rooms looked clean, but felt dirty. Rust on the toilet paper holder. Asked the front desk for extra blankets. They gave them to us unfolded and dirty. HORRIBLE Wi-Fi that worked maybe 2% of the time. There’s not “Comfort Inn” sign on the road to turn in to, so we passed it multiple times. You have to turn in at the McDonalds and then the hotel is next door. Breakfast was very blah and not appetizing. No newspapers to be found anywhere (we even requested one the night before and they said they’d have one for us in the morning. They did not). Furniture in rooms were shabby. And all for $110+ a night?! Pay the extra $10 and go somewhere else. I would not recommend.

Super clean hotel. Enjoyed our stay here. Main complaint is that the water pressure was abysmally low. Made it hard to enjoy a shower after a long day of walking. Super friendly staff that went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Front desk was excited and happy to help. They are doing some remodeling up front but it really isn't much of a concern. Room was nice and tidy.

The front desk lady was a joy and relieved our fears when we saw the construction work being done at front entrance. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was great.

Respectable accommodations. Clean and comfortable bed with amenities very close to our room. Standard continental breakfast with waffles, fruit, pastries, and yogurt offered. Close to downtown shops and night life.

Room was decent. The breakfast was pretty typical. The hotel was a little bit outdated but met my standards. Convenient to shops and easy to get to the metro. I would stay there again without hesitation.

My family of 6 just stayed here for a week. Everything was perfect! Very clean. Staff was very friendly. I especially want to brag on Beverly at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of information on getting around the D. C. Area and helped us figure out the best way for our family to get around. She is just wonderful at her job! Highly recommend this hotel!

The Front desk employee Beverley was amazing. First of all her friendly and professional service on the telephone was the main reason I stopped there. I love the large clean room and breakfast in the morning. Pool was accessible with lifeguard until 10 pm so that was a plus!. I would surely go there again and recommend this nice friendly/homely hotel to my friends and family.

We just stayed here for the second year in a row. We had amazing service last year when we were there with a large group of our fellow PGR family (Patriot Guard Riders). We decided to go back after such a great experience when we went back to DC this year … and once again, the service was perfect. Beverly at the front desk was very helpful and friendly the entire 3 days we were there. We will definitely always stay at this hotel when we are visiting DC.

The staff is the best! Clean rooms, and best of all is Angel she mad my stay like home! A must stay and one of the best in the area.

Hotel is great and it provides the needed amenities, especially a shuttle service to the metro. Rooms are clean and pretty modern. Did have one day where housekeeping seemed to forget to clean our room, though I think it was a mistake. Only recommendation is that they improve on the shuttle schedule to and from the metro stop.

A fun experience to see a motell in the States.
But some complaints:
— A lot of plastic waste every breakfast.
— Too much sugar in the breakfasts, almost no healthy alternative.
— A group of teenagers partyed all night and disturbed our sleep
— The air conditioner was loud and disturbing
— And worst: We booked transport in the reception the evening before but in the morning we were told it was full and had to wait almost an hour for the next. Rude I think!
Plus: big room and the a great restaurant nearby, with great service and food and a lot of different beer — go there! Dog fish ale house!

It was amazing. Employees was great food was amazing time spent was well worth it.

Comfortable room, reasonably clean (a few small carpet stains could be found). A little traffic noise during busier traffic times. Short distance to Chick-fil-A and very short walk to McDonald's and 7 Eleven. Free breakfast included with stay (nice spread of typical breakfast foods and drinks, and waffle maker for guests that want to cook their own waffles). Free USA Today to read as well. Indoor pool available but not used by me during my visit. Staff was courteous and quick to welcome me. Signs in rooms in multiple areas tell you that if you need anything please ask staff. Overall, glad to have visited and do so again if I had the opportunity.

The staff is always friendly and has always went above and beyond to help with my needs. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. I have stayed here a lot within the past 8 months and have always been received with kindness.

Worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of staying at. There was a group of foreigners (young kids) left to run the halls, slam doors, and yell all beginning at 2am. We called the front desk twice where we were berated and treated like liars by Ms. Courtney rather than having the situation dealt with. All in all we got little to no sleep because of this. Additionally, the rooms are subpar. We paid $125 a night for a $40 per night experience. I will never consider staying at this hotel or another from the same chain again. I can't stress enough that this was THE WORST hotel experience ever. Poor management with poor accommodations.

I have stayed here in the past with no issues. My issue now is I attempted to stay on 11/28, upon check-in after calling to inquire if there was a room available, I drove 45 minutes to find out that was not the case. The agent swiped my card and here it is almost two weeks later and the funds are still "pending" I have left a message for the manager, who has yet to call me back and the front desk agent who couldn't seem to figure out my issue says it was cancelled. This is really making me think twice about returning to this hotel again.

Rooms smelled horrible with smoke, ac unit did not work. Our room ran out of toilet paper we asked for more and was told there wasn't any and to ask other rooms around us.

It was a place to stay. Clean enough, Safeway and McDonald's across the street. Therwe were other shopping centers within walking distance. And a Home Depot. The internet worked well.

Rooms were dirty. The tables in the room weren't properly cleaned with stickiness still on the table from a previous guest's meal. Limited seating for the complementary breakfast. The pool closes way too early; even before dark sets in for the evening. We had asked for a small reimbursement for the uncleanliness for the room, but the check-out staff is unable to issue credits. We were promised a phone call from the management, but that is now three weeks ago. No call or credit! I'll stay elsewhere next time and I urge you to do the same.

Stayed here for a a few days. All the hallways stink of cigarette smoke. My room stunk as well. They were booked solid so I toughed it out. If you smoke, it probably wont bother you. The beds, pillows, and bedspreads were worn out looking, and smelled of smoke. Other items in the room were dirty like the clock radios, the ironing boards. The second room I stayed in had a iron which was broken. I brought a bottle of wine and didn't have a cork screw. The front desk didn't have one. Luckily there is a safeway across the street :-) On the positive side: Wireless internet was free and worked well. The bathrooms were recently updated and were very nice. Good water pressure in the shower. The staff was nice.
