The rooms were modern and clean. The food at Bell20 was good and priced well. The restaurant staff was great and so was the clerk that checked me in. The overnight clerk was a little less than pleasant, but ok. All in all, great experience.

Horrendous experience. Paying premium rate all to get woken up by an extremely loud drilling noise on the floor above. If you want to do construction, don’t try to sell rooms at the same time. I expected better from Marriott.

It was great friendly and clean.

Conf Rm provided for a Ball was cramped and the restrooms were a hike — not very convenient. Pricey venue and food was not worth it. Wifi was strong and parking was discounted — still not worth it.

The guest service personnel named Deborah was awesome from checking us in to assisting us with guidance in navigating the city. She should be the perfect poster person for Marriott's customer service dept. She not only gave us the wonderful treatment, but she gave it to everyone we saw her work with. In this day and time, customer service can make or break your experience. Her approach is to treat each and everyone as she wishes to be treated. We really enjoyed our stay at this Marriott. Thank you Deborah.

The staff members at the front counter were great to deal with. Parking had a 6'4 vehicle limit and after finding out our truck wouldn't fit and explaining that we were way late for a wedding the staff gave us a pass to park right next to the handicap parking spots by the door. The overnight staff were great as well.

Outdated rooms, lumpy pillows, elevators atrociously slow and kept breaking down could not handle a hotel that was full to capacity!

The elevator hasn't worked for a month. We had to use the stairs often to get to our 5th floor room. Our room that was assigned had a do not disturb sign on it, and wasn't ready for many hours. The hotel provided appetizers and a drink while we waited, which was very nice. The appetizers we're very good as the breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly as well as helpful.

The best hotel in DC. I've stayed I several different locations and this was a great location with many convenient factors. It is located right at the metro so it will save you money for traveling. The staff is incredible. Everything about this place is fabulous. Great for families. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

I've stayed at this hotel before and the rooms are great and clean and comfortable. The staff are all nice people. The food and drink is average and wait times can be unbelievably long. There are plenty of places to eat in the area so that's an avoidable issue. It's a pleasant hotel. I do recommend staying there.

Love this place. Dan is an awesome guy and making the custom shakes we ordered. Our waiter we had Thursday (5-24-18) and Friday (5-25-18) was awesome. Can't wait to go back again. Food is great. Love the fries and the honey mustard. Keep up the good work.

What do I recommend about this hotel? Everything! Staff, facility, cleanliness, food, pricing (rates & food costs) happy hour, personality, smiles, greetings! Everybody was top notch — true test during very full & long Memorial Day weekend in DC. This hotel passed with flying colors.
All the staff we interacted with at the Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National were beyond professional, attentive, cordial, cheerful, and helpful — but Abby (Tini) won our hearts! Nice chatting after your long work shift and my solo adventure to Capitol South! Thank you for all the pointers in staying safe, directions, suggestions & actually "personally" following up that I was safe in my Marriot "home" after a night out alone in an unfamiliar city and your long work shift (still all smiles & professional).

Great location one stop from DCA airport and a block from a Metro station. Seem to be fairly family friendly, and has a swimming pool, exercise facilities, restaurant and other amenities. Within walking distance of a wide selection of restaurants and shopping. Adjacent to the shops at Crystal City, as well as numerous parks and walking trails. A quick Metro ride to the National Mall and downtown DC.

We stayed at the Marriott May 17-May 20 and the Hotel was conveniently located within 15 minutes of most attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Abby from the cocktail lounge. She had impeccable customer service and she made us feel very welcomed at the Marriott. She made us feel like "family" when we would arrive daily for our evening cocktail. She also provided us with suggestions on where to dine which we really appreciated. When you stay at the Marriott I would strongly suggest stopping by the lounge and to say hi to Abby! Abby is a great asset to the Marriott team.

The stay is not worth what you pay. For $160 to over $200 per night the hotel should be clean, the rooms should be clean. The walk to my room was disgusting as the hallway floor was filthy. My AC was so loud that I could not sleep. The toilet runs off and on. Room service is brought to you in card board boxes for a $5 fee. The food was fine, but to pay that much and eat breakfast out of a box. No thank you. This is my second disappointing stay at a Marriott this year. They are losing their touch. The location is great and close to the airport. Crystal City is a great little spot. Just stay somewhere else.

So far so good. Has a pool and fitness room. That's a big plus. Bar and restaurant open till midnight. No complaints after first day.

Be aware that this is an older Marriott hotel that needs to be updated. I was slightly disappointed in the room especially for the cost. However the staff is exceptional and my husband and I enjoyed the breakfast although it was not included and a bit pricey. Also, if you are coming into town to site see they will hold your bags in a secure area until you return and your room is ready. Another plus is the location. This hotel is so close to many amazing restaurants and is easy to transport to downtown.

Rooms were good… comfortable but nothing noticeably great. Food in the restaurant downstairs was good — not great. Bar area was nice — except I got seated next to a drunk who wouldn't shut up and the bartenders/manager just let him keep drinking (charming) … otherwise I'd have rated this 4-star.

Did NOT enjoy my stay. The hotel is old and has the musty smells in the hallways and rooms to prove it. The room size was more than adequate but everything else failed. My room had an adjoining door to the next room, which wasn’t sealed and allowed all the noise from the rowdy guests next door to penetrate it as well as the thin walls. A pizza I ordered from Room Service was uneatable except for the topping because the crust was burnt black. The hotel charge $5 to deliver your room service. My pizza was not worth the five dollars let along the cost. They wouldn’t allow the Grubhub driver to bring takeout ordered from a decent restaurant upstairs even though anyone off the street can come upstairs without a room key. Given everything else, I don’t expect my Reward Points to be properly awarded either. Would not recommend. Disappointed.

From the minute we arrived, the staff were very helpful! Super friendly. Every time I had a question, they answered it quickly and with a smile. Beds were comfortable. Shopping, food, and metro are extremely close and convenient. Shuttle to the airport. Highly recommend!

I arrived via hotel shuttle at the 2nd stop out of 3, and met with smiles, professionalism and eagerness to meet my needs as an Elite member. The night before departing, I made contact with the Rewards center who told me my request to be placed away from the elevator and up high was placed in my profile. When I arrived and received my room, I learned my room was within 10ft of the elevator! I went back to the front desk and was told the note about my room was NOT in my profile. So the desk clerk made straight away changes and got me a room on the top floor and very far from the elevator. I ate my hotel meals in the M-Lounge and the staff provided me with excellent service for my short stay there. I look forward to staying there again in the future!

Amazing place it is conviently a block away from the metro it comes with a great indoor pool that I can actually swim in. I got a room with a amazing view of DC and it is also very convenient that Bell20 (A tavern for the adults) is in the hotel itself!

Had great stay, excellent service would definitely stay there again and recommend to all. Within walking distances to fine dining and activities.

My daughter recently stayed at your hotel as part of a very large group in town to participate in the March for Life. She accidentally left her phone behind in her room. When she returned home and told us, I called and talked to someone in your Security Office. The phone had been found and turned in and your staff was able to promptly FedEx it back to us. My mom stayed here on Jan 04, 2018 — Jan 05, 2018 due to bad weather flight cancellation. CRYSTAL CITY/NATL AIRPORT Marriott is great! I really wanted to complement the employee Fissaha M. The staff in the restaurant/bar were very friendly and offered excellent food choices. Ned the manager was seen assisting his staff by mixing drinks are getting food. Had a wonderful time.

Easy connection from DCA to hotel with just one stop on the metro. Standard room amenities but it's a bit dated. Friendly staff at check in/out. They have free packets of toothpaste in case you forget to bring it. Free shuttle to the airport starting at 5:05am running every 20 min. Great stay overall.

Convenient location, good staff, tired rooms. Stay on the side away from the highway. Courteous staff that helped with any request. Rooms were clean but could use a makeover. Popcorn ceilings and faux walnut furniture went out a few years ago. You do get used to the road noise after a night.

The hotel is located very conveniently being directly connected to the Crystal City Malls and metro station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was a standard room with 2 queen beds. One bed was fine, but the other had a very worn and uncomfortable mattress. The room's bathroom was quite large but the shower had a handheld sprayer style shower head with only one setting which happened to be full blast, but there was plenty of hot water. The hotel's underground parking garage was clean and well lit, but the 26 dollars per night fee seemed a bit steep. While this hotel did have it's issues, our stay was all in all a good experience.

Great place to stay when visiting the DC area. The mall under the hotel is very convenient with lots of restaurants nearby. The park across the street is a great place to relax. It is almost on top of the metro but found it is much easier and less expensive to use Uber to get around.

The rooms are very nice and the location is great. We run the Army Ten Miler every year and this is a great location. Also Reagan Int Airport and the metro access make this hotel worth the money.

The Crystal City Marriott at Reagan Airport offers the comforts expected of a Marriott full service with spectacular customer service. This hotel also offers a "concierge lounge" for those of us with Gold status or higher. The only aspect that didn't work is also the comfort of the bed as it sank a bit and was not so comfortable.

Great hotel. Nice pool and dining options. Comfortable beds and nice individuals. Shuttle service is offered for free to and from the airport.

Great location. Easy access to the airport and Metro. Metro station a short walk away above ground or via underground shopping route. Many restaurants in the area and options within the hotel as well.

I was there for a business meeting. What I saw of the hotel was very nice. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were clean and well designed. We stayed just for a night, and we got good sleep after all tour activity. Hotel is in good location, with bars and restaurants nearby.

We were treated like royalty. The room was perfect. The food was great. The food staff, especially Sanjay and Anna were so kind, The lifeguards were so friendly and ever watchful. The front desk and bell staff were helpful and funny. I'd like to come back and stay another week. Oh and housekeeping, the best!

Had a great conference at this hotel. Great rooms great staff! Wonderful amenities. Amazing place for a large or long conference. Close to shopping and food choice. Very close to siteseeing and has a hotel shuttle.

It's a nice hotel generally, but is fairly standard as far as what's available in this densely hotel-populated area. Real amenities are the proximity to metro and access to the underground Crystal City shops without having to venture outside in either the hot or the cold. Parking is available for 25USD a day.

Hotel was conveniently connected to an underground walkway to many local bars, restaurants, stores, and the metro. Less than a five minute walk to the metro made transit very easy. Garage parking was $26 per day, better than$40-$50 that hotel in DC charge. Room was spacious and contained nice amenities such as a personal Keurig and mini fridge. Would stay here again.

Stayed here with our 3 young children. Price was right. Location to subway system was ideal. Easy access to Washington DC. Staff was very nice and attentive. The hotel was clean. Our room was large with a fridge. Crib we requested was clean. Pool was very clean. No overpowering smell of bleach. Water got tested regularly. Bar was nice. We had cupcakes there with the kids. Wish beds were larger, room had microwave and breakfast was included.

Beautiful hotel, service was excellent except for the person I called in the morning to ask for a late check out. Response was "you're just a basic rewards customer, so the best I can do for you is 1p. Which is good but I could've done without the reminder of my "peasant status". :) Must've been a rough morning. Very nicely situated though I would stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room size and style not worth the price though. You are paying for the location… near DC… decor reminded me of the 70's… not as nice as I expected… OK but not great rooms. Staff was excellent though.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel has nice location: it is surrounded at a walking distance by restaurant, coffee, a mall. And Washington DC and Georgetown are very close (20 min by car when no traffic).

Very good hotel, very convenient… My complaint and why the hotel lost 2 stars was because their shuttle people need lots of work. When we arrived there was another couple waiting with us and neither one knew about the south and north loops and they going to different hotels. Luckily the driver that helped us confirmed we were on the right one but the other couple showed the driver their address/confirmation and sent them to our driver and left. Our driver had to explain the look thing and that they had to wait another 20 minutes. It was cold, rainy, and very late. Not nice of the other drive. The second star was lost because on my way out, I jumped out of a taxi as the shuttle to the airport was coming, I asked if I could run into the hotel and get my bags from the bell boy (which is right at the door), the driver did not acknowledge me and a minute later when I came out he had left. Nice! I had to take a taxi to the airport as I was running late already.

I recently attended a professional event at the Crystal City Marriott. The event was well set up and easy to locate. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Stayed for a 3 day conference. Only one elevator worked for an entire section the entire stay. At one point we were forced to walk up and then down 17 flights of stairs in heels for our banquet because the elevator wouldn't register to pick us up. Front desk staff was not the friendliest in dealing with our PO. The location was good which is the only reason I gave two stars. Too expensive for the issues.

Location was great, basement of hotel has access to the metro and the local shopping center that has a bevy of shops ranging from dry cleaners and barbershop to restaurants and merchandise. The hotel and staff was overall great but my room was just OK, definitely expected more for the cost.

I usually don't write reviews but this one has compelled me. I paid for booking one night in this hotel cia my united plus miles. They charged me more than 17000 miles for a suite. I checked in at 9:30PM and for the room which was booked for 5 guests. At checkin the guy told me that the room is a king room with one bed. I asked him to change my room and he did based on some confirmation from house keeping. The first impression was pathetic for already made booking. One star lost for that. After I checked in the other room, the drawers had clothes from previous guests which really were pthetic. Lost another star. I am in still in the room and just relised that ceiling in the bthroom is dripping all over the place. The room itself is not worth of paying more than 130$. This hotel, their service, their rooms SUCKS. i am fed up at 12:27AM in my room. Can't use the bathroom as water is dripping each second. Can't take it after paying so much. I am concerned of my other 2 Marriott booking coming up in next 2 weeks. I think I will cancel them. Please don't waste your money on this property on this name.

Went with a school for a trip and they were very nice and tried to make our experience as nice as possible. The beds were extremely comfy and the floor we were on was totally silent. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and they went out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed.

I just came back from a weekend meeting at this hotel and was extremely happy with the staff, my room, the conference area, and amenities, ambiance in the lobby and bar, and catering at the meeting. Everything in the hotel is new from the furniture to the fixtures on the walls. Some highlights: Shuttle service from the airport was rapid, the shuttle bus was clean and the driver was professional. Check in was easy and the front desk staff (Felicia) were accommodating. The quality of the room service food was excellent. Everything worked in the room which was impeccably clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the hotel is very quiet. The internet connection is very fast. I was able to stream movies in 1080p without a problem. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic and the towel rack contained four sets of towels instead of one which is a pet peeve of mine. Lastly, the night desk attendant, whose name I wish I recalled, brought me shaving cream and a razor at 4 am before my meeting when I realized I had forgotten to pack them. I did not use any workout equipment but I believe one of my colleagues did. If this is important to you I would check ahead of time before booking. Michael Winkler, MD.

The is the absolutely the best place I've ever stayed the staff and esp one Lakysha was absolutely wonderful she went above and beyond any thing I could imagine to help she even helped the Easter Bunny find us. The staff in the dining was wonderful always there to help and assist. Location is great if you wanting to go anywhere around the dc area will definintley stay here when make another trip big shout to every worker there.

A really great hotel. When we have people fly in on business, we put them up there and always hear great things. Plus, they have a great bar and lounge area. An excellent happy hour spot for those of us working in Crystal City.

If you are looking for an excellent hotel in the DC area, then this is the place. The hotel is extremely convenient to the Metro line via underground walkway (be sure to check out the shops too), has very comfortable beds (good luck on wanting to get out of them in the morning) and a staff that will be like family before you leave. We had a tough time choosing a hotel because there are so many in the area, but thanks to JT and his staff, we know where we will be coming back to. A++++.

Amazingly comfortable beds. Staff was very helpful and friendly — they even made a point to learn my name. I was especially grateful to them when my laptop was inadvertently left and lost. They worked quickly to help me find it. Great stay.
