Well I reserved and paid for a room with a king size bed room through Expedia with a view and all and the only thing they give me is a dam room with 2 queens and a dam building to stare at. Hell with this place… oh an all they can tell me is this is all they have and how in the hell is it the same dam price as a nice king size room with king bed? … But, if your rich and have money and work a job where you have to wear a suit and tie then this place is perfect for you all. This is one country boy who will not stay here again after tonight!

I truly hope that the general manager of this hotel appreciates his staff. I was having a horrible week and I arrive there and could not have been put in any better spirits. First the bellman John really made me instantly feel welcomed and went above and beyond. And throughout my stay I was reminded of what a pleasure it was walk in through the entrance whenever I saw him. All of the staff at the front desk very warm and friendly and I would even in their most busy times never get anything but their time as if I were the only customer. The rooms in this hotel is spacious and have a wonderful views, and the patio in the fall is truly a gem, and you can see it all the way to the National Cathedral. I love how close this hotel is to anywhere that I want to go and there’s only a block away from the metro. But I have to say the true pleasure of this hotel was a bellman it really took his time and make me feel special, AB. If you were there in the evening until about 1130 please make sure that you stop in and say hi to this gentleman, his warm welcome and courteous nature are really what every hotel needs. If you happen to say there and see him please tell him Nicholas said hi, I really cannot thank him enough for taking a stressful situation and turning it into one of the best stays I’ve ever had at a hotel!

It's just 2 mins walking distance from the Metro station, very convenient indeed. However, the room looks rather distressed. There are broken tiles in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast from the hotel works very strict that you can only choose the continental breakfast up to $10 for each guest. You cannot choose any other thing and pay the extra! If you are a reward member, just take the points and don't get the complimentary breakfast, doesn't worth it.

While we only enjoyed cocktails here (we did not spend the night nor did we see a guest room), in general the hotel was a nice little surprise out of nowhere in Roslyn. The drinks were poured tall but pretty expensive. Modern decor was present throughout the lobbies and other common spaces.

The service was great. All of the staff members were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and the beds were really comfortable. The location cannot be beat. It was a five minute walk to the metro and there were plenty of establishments within walking distance.

I thoroughly enjoyed my night at Le Méridien. The location can not be beat and the price per night is a steal in comparison to nearby hotels. The rooms were smaller but efficiently arranged. Large windows allowed lots of light to fill the room. Comfy bed and pillows. Very calming decor palate was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bar and bartender were great. They have happy hour specials from 4-7. There’s a wonderful courtyard that offers great views and plenty of space. The hotel is very cozy. Dark wood, beautiful stone, and plush seating fill the lobby. The staff were very attentive and happy to help. Room service was good— no hidden fees and reasonable prices. The room was clean and the shower head was spa-level. Will definitely return for my future visits!

I’m not sure that I personally would consider this a 4 hotel, here is why: On the day we’re arrived; we checked in, went to our room, and proceeded to unpack since we were staying 5 nights. Clothes in the closets and drawers, important stuff in the safe, and bathroom items in the bathroom. We get ready to leave and the safe code, which I set and tested before loading it up, does not work. I try several times, but it does attempt to open. So I called the front desk and about… 20-30 minutes later the engineer showed up to open the safe with an HP palm Pilot and a Bluetooth — serial dongle. Or attempt to open the safe… he was unable to do so. After about 30 minutes he gets called away. He did come back and try again a while later. So we leave while he is trying to open the safe, because we had plans. When we get back, The safe is still locked and our stuff is still in it. So I check with the front desk and am told that he was unable to open it and we would have to wait for his manager, the next day. Well that’s all fine and dandy, but our phone chargers are in there, my wife’s medicine, my work laptop, and several other needed items. They apologize when I mention this and send him up to try again, which results in the same, safe still locked. They did finally get it opened the next day after about and hour, but we had to purchase items to replace what was in there for that night, totaling about $35 and had to wait around for people to try and open it.

We attended a social event at Le Meridien. The venue itself on the fourth floor looks very nice, but it was very warm inside on this hot summer day. The vegetarian food entree was good to me, but many other really did not like their food. There were also some issues setting up the audio visual equipment.

Update: Manager resolved the issue below to our complete satisfaction. Consequently, I change my rating from 1 to 4 stars. Original post: Very poor customer service especially from front desk staff: e. G. Tell you that it is your own fault that you did not know that weekend rates for valet parking are $40 rather than $25.

Very nice hotel! It appears a bit intimidating with how grand everything is, but the front desk staff are very accessible & down-to-earth. When checking-in, one must go to the 4th floor. That is the only unusual thing that I noticed. Very clean building & plenty of options if you feel like getting pampered!

The picture is the view from our room (speaks for itself). Using Expedia’s star ratings guide this hotel cannot be a 4 star hotel, no way, no how. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no dedicated concierge you have to ask questions at the desk. The room was a little small but it looked clean. We had to ask for a mini refrigerator and a bathrobe. We were there a week and I think the floor was vacuumed maybe 3 times max. No coffee maker. One free bottle of water (not replaced every day) and one $6 bottle of water that we didn’t touch. We arrived late and decided to get a glass of wine before bed. We went to the bar and ask for two glasses of wine. When we left the bill was $45.00. I’m thinking the bar tender took us for idiots. Overall it’s a nice 3 star hotel.

Although the set up is unconventional (you enter the lobby and take elevator to the reception desk), this property is clean, tastefully decorated, very close to Metro and the monuments, and well run. Get a room facing the river on a high floor, if possible. Despite its location, very few rooms offer actual views of the mall and the Washington Monument. Perhaps SPG Platinum members have access to these scarce, premium views.

The only convenience was that it was close to the metro which is why I gave it one star. Other than that we were very disappointed. If you are a family and want to get the most bang for buck… look elsewhere! You will pay for EVERY convenience from the parking (regardless if you self park or valet there is no free parking anywhere) to the water the hotel places in the room (one small water bottle had a price tag of $6.00 should you decide to use it). As others mentioned before there are NO coffee makers or small refrigerators in the rooms. The rooms appear smaller than pictured, there was no working bathroom vent (so the room gets muggy very quickly), and the plumbing in our bathroom sink had significant difficulty draining in an efficient manner. It is a hotel located within a building that is used for other purposes which also leases apartments. You will have to use multiple elevators to get to the front desk from the parking lot below and even more to get to your room. If you have the cash to waste then this is the place for you!

By far the worst experience at any hotel. I called room service to order food and they transferred me to a pizza place called Manny and Olga’s. They said they couldn’t deliver and also had some curse words for me. When I filed a complaint with the hotel they said it was between me and the pizza place, despite their room service putting me in touch with them.

Finally a real breakfast in the USA. Great hotel and relatively central… Unfortunately no balconies at the house…

Don't waste your time. The overpriced, no-frills rooms are outdated, hot, and have no coffee makers or microwave. Everything in the hotel is overpriced, probably due to their location to Washington and not because they have anything unique to offer. When we asked the front desk if there was onsite laundry service the clerk scoffed and replied "In the year I've worked here, no one has ever asked for laundry service, except for dry cleaning. " The only good thing about the hotel was their workout room. I'll be sure to stress to anyone visiting D. C. To choose another hotel.

Great location… 1 block from the metro station and food. Clean accommodations, comfy bed, down feather pillows, soft towels. My only complaints would be that they don't tell you that your card will be charged $100 prior to any spending (room service, movie orders, etc), they charge a $5 room service delivery fee and tip on top of your order, which is not mentioned in/on the menu, no fridge in my room… pay extra for one I guess. So watch for hidden charges ($6 water in the room, etc). Continental breakfast is not free.

Staff was professional and accommodating. Rooms were clean and cleaned well. Free coffee in the AM was a nice touch. The best part about the hotel is it's location. It's a short walk to Georgetown and all of it's attractions. Hotel also features a 24/7 gym which while limited in it's fitness selection, is very convenient.

Very nice hotel, but very expensive. No vending on room floors, only available outside the fitness center. Parking garage was overcrowded with cars double parked. Room was very clean and chairs were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean, though a bit tiny. Surprised to see a cheap tub-shower combo in such an upscale hotel.

This is a pretty, modern hotel on the Potomac. The room was clean and had a nice view of the river. Easy walking distance to sights and food. Only not 5 stars because the food in the restaurant wasn't quite as good as the price would suggest.

It's a hotel within a building, it doesn't have the entire building. That means you will always have to take two elevators to get to your room. At first it isn't a big deal then it kind of gets to you after a while. People are nice though.

Very pleasant 1-night stay @ Le Méridien. Convenient location (1 minute from metro, 15 minutes by foot to Georgetown). The rooms were well-appointed, impeccably clean and comfortable. The service was outstanding. Many thanks to Carlos, at the front desk, for being receptive to my room preferences and calling after check-in to ensure I was satisfied with my room. Leilani was also very helpful and Douglas has got to be, hands down, the friendliest barman in VA and D. C. I can't wait to come back!

The hotel was good. I stayed for a night. The rooms were clean and cozy. Perfectly lit. The lift to floors were quiet confusing though. The place in the city and has easy access to nearby places.

The worst stay I have ever encountered from beginning to end. Manager, Adeel should be fired. The problems with this hotel obviously begin with management, horrible management. Valet parking is not owned by the hotel and nonexistent until you hunt them down. Check in is on the fourth floor and when you arrive there is only 1 person who handles everything. If you get room 1215 the bathroom faces an office bldg with see through shades ESP when the light is on after dark. The restaurant staff is rude and dismissive. I could go on and on but it was too upsetting to completely include here. I would never recommend this location. Just horrible!

Good location and nice rooms but no hot water before a 6AM flight is unacceptable. Also were not very accommodating, had wedding at night so asked to check in a little early to get ready. Never called, got in right at 3. Have stayed at plenty of these properties, this was my least favorite experience.

Rooms are extremely small. No mini fridge. Luke warm water at best. There's a $5 fee with 20% gratuity included on room service, only mentioned in small font at the back of the menu. Staff is pleasant.

Nice hotel. Very difficult parking and difficult to find your way back to the garage if valet wasn't your chouce. Quiet on the inside but noticed dusty areas (over elevator for instance). No one was on the first floor, lobby and check in on the fourth.

So I went there with my friend and we stayed here for one night. The staff are nice and the place is super clean. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Just when you book over here try to compare the prices that they are gonna give you over the phone and the one online.

Fantastic experience. The customer service was incredible. Andrew went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed for my overnight stay. The room was good and the location was excellent. I did miss the turn under the portico my first time driving there because the signage was facing a direction that made it challenging to see at First. But the parking garage was conveniently located to the hotel. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Location is close to shops, restaurants, supermarket and public transport. Room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The entrance to the hotel is a little inconvenient as it requires you to take an elevator 4 floors up to get to the main lobby. Staff was iffy. Front desk seemed to be more interested in talking amongst themselve than checking me in. I'd stay here again. Perhaps I caught the staff on an off night.

The hotel and room were gorgeous! The bed was so comfortable that we just sank into it as it cradled us to sleep. And the location is perfect. Close to everything we need. Thank you for an excellent stay!

We waited for room to be ready, no rush dropped if luggage left for the day. When we returned once we were told room ready, it was very dusty, luggage rack missing, cordless phone not working, has an elliptical machine be that the mat it was on had debris. I called gircan apology and that was it. Hskp manager came showed her issues an she and another team member fixed issues that I believe should not have occurred in first place. And on top of it hskp manager than notices a fridge is also missing in room. How many possible issues can you encounter! Following day all my bath mats were removed and only 1 was replaced, cordless phone still not working. Was told night before someone would follow up, that didn't happen either. The hotel is amazing, room incredible, but the lack of follow up, attention to detail and lack of customer service is beyond. Ashame too. Here for 2 more days maybe by than someone will reach out.

Very good food with a staff that is um friendly and a dining room perfect.

It's a good hang out place to go to when you have work but want to get away from work. The lobby is clean, dark, not smelly (either good or bad), and the bathrooms are nice — full door stalls that one can poop in peace with. The restaurant/bar, Amuse, is expensive, has medicare food, and a limited selection, however.

The hotel is chic modem like all Le Meridien. The newly renovated rooms were nothing out of the ordinary with more of a neutral tone but practical. Love the USB chargers on the lamps.

I was only there for the restaurant. The hotel looks marvelous and so does the restaurant, but in my three visits there so far the food has been a little disappointing every single time. Limited selection and overall unremarkable.

Everything about this hotel is great. You feel comfortable while in the room. Only thing that was missing in my room was a mini bar.

Staff is extremely helpful, especially Doug. Clean, beautiful and functional rooms. Loved how many plugs were easily accessible for my devices.

Amazing hotel for the price! Just a short three minute walk from the Rosslyn Metro Station and a short ride back into DC. The moment you walk in you be immersed in the luxurious ambiance exuded by the darker tones throughout. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, and iconic bathroom. Highly recommended.

I stayed here because of the memorial day parade. I am in a matching band so my stay was a bit different than most guests. But I would say that I enjoyed my stay. The room I had was pretty large, with two queen sized (i believe) beds. I didn't order room service but some of my friends did and said that it was a bit slow and overpriced. The complimentary breakfast was good and was switched up daily. One day there was cereal available, the next there was sausages available, etc. The rooms were clean and gave a nice view of the river. The air conditioning was fast and easy to adjust. The bathroom had pump bottles with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel which was a nice surprise. There was also free water bottle provided when room service cleaned. The only downside to the rooms was the lack of a fridge and a microwave. But other than that, the elevators and rooms were great.

What a great surprise! They aim to please! It was amazing. We checked in after midnight and they were so helpful and truly accommodating!

Every time I come to DC I always stay at this hotel. The staff is always hospitable and the rooms are veery comfortable. It is conveniently situated close to the metro so getting into the city is very easy.

Le Meridien is conveniently located to the Rosselyn Metro stop. We were able to get into DC very easily. The accommodations are top notch!

Nice hotel. Room was comfortable and staff was great. Location is around 10 min from white house and about 20 from u Street.

First time staying here. Very convenient to the metro. Everything was very clean and tidy. Coffee and tea is served in the lobby every morning. My only complaint is the water in the shower can go from warm to scalding in seconds.

First the room wasn't ready when they said it would be, then they sent me to a room that was of the wrong type and not cleaned since the last guest, then they sent me to a room with a broken HVAC unit. While this was brought to their attention, it was never addressed. Even if everything had gone well though, I don't see this place having any business calling itself a 4-star hotel. At its best, it would be along the lines of a standard Hilton Garden Inn.

Trudy from the front desk made my 4 year anniversary with my girl a unique experience with the best experience and willingness to make sure our stay was awesome. Service is really timely and the rooms are obviously worth it.

Absolutely fabulous customer service. Trudy took such great care of me and my fiancé on our anniversary weekend. She made sure that everything was perfect and definitely went the extra mile to make our weekend memorable and perfect. From beginning to end, we very much enjoyed our stay. The room was amazing.

Very nice hotel, but the restaurant Amuse was overpriced for the quality of food they served. They also tried to pass of tater tots as "homefries" during their overpriced breakfast buffet. Would stay there again, but probably would not eat there again.

This was at least my 4th stay at this hotel and will continue to stay there (spg hotel). However I do wish that the evening in room dining menu would be expanded. There isn't much of a selection.

This hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the service was awesome!

It probably really depends on what you are in town for if this hotel is going to be good for you. I was with my wife and infant child on a long weekend. This was the wrong hotel for us. It was difficult to get a crib and it ended up showing up an hour after the baby's bedtime. However the hotel is very nice looking and has a very good bar and restaurant that were all packed on Thursday so I could see this place doing well for business men during the week. There is also a very large balcony right outside the bar area with a good view of Georgetown. On the weekend it all seemed dead though. The best part of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located to the Rossyln metro station with has a train every few minutes into DC.

I have had numerous business lunches here (they are across the street from my office), and never disappointed. Great food, good service, nice decor. They will make you comfortable and they will feed you well. If you need a quiet corner for a business discussion, they'll take care of you on that as well. Now if only they would bring back the mushroom fettucini on the lunch menu.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Le Meridien in Rossyln for 3 days. The hotel aesthetic is beautiful so I´ll give it one star. Alex who works at the front desk consistently gave the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. It´s such a shame because it is such a nice hotel. The first day after we had checked in, my gf was working remotely in the room on her computer and decided to run out for a coffee break. When she returned, her room card wouldn´t work. It appeared that the magnetic strip on our door was broke. She went to the front desk to explain the situation and Alex took her key and said that he couldn´t help her until I confirmed that she was on the reservation. Admittedly it was our mistake for not adding both of our names to the reservation. However, he should have given her the benefit of the doubt since she had the key and clearly needed to get back to work. Long story short, she waited around 2 hrs in the lobby. They said they emailed me to get a confirmation that I was who I said I was but Alex entered the wrong email address. Adeen (I think that´s his name) saved the day. The magnetic strip on the door was in fact broken. Then on day 2, around 3 o´clock an associate came knocking on the door, came in, and said that our room was marked vacant in their system and that we had checked out. My gf assured her that our reservation was for 3 days.

As a resident of The Waterview above the hotel, I've visited the restaurant on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, while the façade of the restaurant has changed, the deplorable service has not. The most recent example was brunch on a Sunday. There was no hostess, the few would-be patrons were left waiting and the restaurant only had two tables seated. When I walked into the restaurant to request assistance, the same older waiter who has been there for at least a year was typically rude and non-responsive. He told us to sit outside and then never came to follow-up. Meanwhile, the outside was a disaster. It was littered with cigarette butts, including inside of the fire pits. There was trash all over the floor and it was clear that no one had bothered to clean up from the private event that occurred the night before. After waiting for fifteen minutes to ask for service, the same waiter was rude and actually insulted my wife. Suffice it to say that it does not take an expensive consultant to explain why the restaurant continues to fail. I will never come back to your restaurant even though I live right above it. I will also do all that I can to ensure that others avoid this nightmarish experience.

There are a lot of really wonderful details to love at this hotel. Check in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We were given a room right away, and were very impressed with the room. The view of the Potomac was nice, and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was well appointed, and there was plenty of space. The few things that I was not impressed by were relatively minor. To get to guest rooms from the street, you have to take one set of elevators to the 4th floor (where the check in desk is), and then a second set of elevators to guest rooms. Not a big deal, but I didn't love it. Second, we tried ordering room service, and got re-directed to the front desk 3 times because no one was picking up. We were told that room service would call back, and they did, 10 minutes later. So we ordered, and got our food about 40 minutes after that. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying at the end of a long day. The location of this hotel is really great, just a 5 minute walk from the metro, or a quick ride over the bridge into DC. It was a quick ride everywhere. The SPG member beenfits were also quite nice. Wouldn't hesistate to stay again/recommend to anyone looking for something very affordable in this area.

My daughter had her wedding at Le Meridien Arlington and the experience was amazing. Not only was this boutique hotel conveniently located, but the food, drink and the staff from the planning stage (thank you, Allison and Sandi) to the execution (Edwin and his wonderful, helpful staff) was excellent. The rooms were quiet and the bedding amazing. I wanted to take home the pillow — better than mine at home. Enjoy.

Amazing location, just a two minute walk to the Rosslyn Metro station. Valet parking is a waste. It's best to go for self-parking; it's a better value than what you will find in the area. The main lobby is not on the Ground Floor, but rather on the Fourth Floor. This is a minor issue that is overshadowed by the great elevator music played in the elevators — actual good music! The hotel itself is well kept and the staff is very friendly. Upon arrival I kindly requested a room with a view of Georgetown, and the concierge was most helpful in providing just that. The room had an amazing view of the Potomac, Key Bridge, Georgetown, and the National Cathedral. Didn't bother shutting the shades; the view was that stunning day and night. I would recomend this hotel.

I stayed at Le Meridien for just one night but I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel. Parking is plentiful in their attached garage and the associate at the front desk was friendly and actually carried on a conversation while he checked us in. He seemed happy to be at work which is rare! Our room was small but comfortable and the bed was very nice. The cleaning staff is top notch because everything was immaculate. Strong water pressure in the sink and shower and general homey feel even though everything is very new. Constructive criticism for management: rethink the cabinet you have the mini fridge in. It's not made for it and it's apparent. I would stay here again and I'd recommend to family and friends.
