Stayed here for two days in March 2019…. Clean room, great location, friendly staff. Essentially across the street fro the metro to DC….

Exceptionally clean and friendly staff, close to great attractions and lots of good food. Super close to the Metro! Bed was so comfortable and they had a huge TV in our room. Bar was only open on a Thursday for some reason, safe, secure and we would stay here again.

Very nice! Breakfast was disappointing, but understand a full breakfast couldn’t be served due to COVID. However, cost should have been lowered or eliminated.

My stay at this hotel on December 20th was amazing… however, a few days ago my card was mysteriously charged for nearly $160 (its now the beginning of February). When I called, I was told this had occurred to a number of former customers and that the amount would be refunded back to my card in a few days. I called back a few days later to be told that there was projected date for returning my money to my account. Hyatt didn't apologize, took no responsibility and I had to ask repeatedly for a number to their merchant services. I've never stayed anywhere where this has happened before and I've never heard of anyone being able to charge your card for no service and hold the money as long as they like. I wouldn't recommend staying here until this issue is resolved.

Great room & location beds were soft… No breakfast bc of pandemic. Velvet parking is park yourself in garage.

Small rooms but comfortable for a stay of a couple of days. Convenient location near to Rosslyn Metro Station and walk distance to historic Arlington cemetery. Great personnel kindness and attention to guests.

Clean, good customer service, just steps away from the subway station, and just 1 stop away from DC.

The housekeeping and front desk staff were awesome. However, a manager name Jessie was rude and not helpful at all!

The hotel is lovely, rooms are clean, it is, steps from the metro, and has a pretty solid breakfast buffet. However, my 5 stars for this hotel goes to manager Jesse Paige! Here's why: I originally booked another hotel for my mother and me down the street for Memorial Day weekend. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, they didn't have our reservation in the system, were not super helpful, and were booked solid for the holiday weekend. I literally has to sit in the parking lot …with my 70+ year old mother and find another room immediately. Thankfully, Delta Hotels found us a room to the Hyatt Centric for the same price but it is a much better hotel. We arrived, a little stressed, a little bedraggled looking, but happy to not be staying out of town since we had a concert to attend that night. Jesse greeted us at the door with a huge smile and, from that moment on, continued to be amazing! He found us a double bed room somehow since the system said all were booked and it had a beautiful view of Georgetown and the National Cathedral. He also gave us a set of complimentary breakfast buffet tickets to apologize for the difficult time we had at the other hotel, which was unsolicited and greatly appreciated. He helped us navigate the parking system, made suggestions about places to go, and was overall a genuine gem of a host.

Was a quick overnight stay and the staff made it very pleasurable. We arrived late and was greeted and treated very well. Would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely the best hotel that I have stayed at in a very long time. The wonderful and excellent staff made my first visit to the DC the greatest. Really clean and comfortable room. Best location, metro station and FSI shuttle bus are across the street, Target, CVS, and many restaurants nearby. I highly recommend it! … P. S. Jesse Paige must be PROMOTED.

Overall a well serviced hotel and good customer service. I've had a few issues with room cleanliness, but the staff has always quickly moved me to another room. It's in a good location with easy walking distance to the Rosslyn Station.

Location is everything and the Hyatt has it. Walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. The Metro line is right out back and very easy to get to. Nice room and great water pressure for the shower. We will definitely stay here again.

I would recommend this hotel. From the very start we were treated more than just a number. I don't know his official title or remember his name but when we pulled up in the taxi he grabbed our bags and helped us in. Helped us with a map and so on. Every day we were greeted and said goodbye to when we left. During our stay if we needed water they got it for us. I would definitely stay here in the future.

One of the best hotels in the area! Rooms are clean and modern with great accommodations and the views are amazing from my room on the top floor. The staff was also very nice and the free breakfast included in my booking looks great. The toilets also are very clean, unlike other hotels I’ve been to. So happy that we chose this hotel for our vacation in Washington D. C.

Very nice Hyatt! Location is near metro, with a parking garage right below the hotel. Valet service is good. Food at key bridge terrace is a real pleasure, especially the lamb lollipops. They have a nice lounge area with an outside space as well to enjoy food and drinks.

By far the worst experience my family has ever endured at a hotel. A sudden family event led us from GA to WV. We decided we would stop in Arlington over night before we continued on. Before we left GA, at 1pm we called ahead to the Hyatt and asked if we could request an early check in — 3am to be exact. The woman on the phone made those accommodations/ which showed up in our confirmation email. We drove through the remnants of the hurricane — over 10 hours, arriving at the hotel at 3:15am. The front desk receptionist, Paul, was not receptive to our pleas to check in. He refused to look up our confirmation and then went on to ask my husband if he’s from America or had ever checked in to an American hotel because you can’t check in to hotels at 3am. He was extremely hateful and acted amused when we demanded a refund. So basically we were robbed of our money at this point. At 330am, a car of kids and nowhere to go left us very upset. What makes it so funny is we called the Holiday Inn Express and checked right in 10 minutes later with exceptional customer service. Paul from this Hyatt at the Centric Center needs an American ass whooping. Laughing at my husband — refusing a refund and refusing a check in warrants a real attitude adjustment for making us victims to his control over our money and our stay.

The room was spotless, bed, blankets and pillows were extremely comfy. Rates are affordable. Stay there, it's awesome! Parking is a bit expensive, $25 per day pre tax, self parking. Also, at the time, the parking garage elevators were not working.

The hotel is nice and located next to the Rosslyn metro stop — it's one stop away from the nearest stop to the Kennedy Center. The biggest compliant I have about the hotel was the fact that I had to pay for parking and I was not told about that nor was it indicated in the confirmation; it was $35 per day when I wrote this. To their credit, the staff took off the parking off my bill after I pointed out how this was a hidden cost. My suggestion to the hotel is that paying guests of the hotel shouldn't have to pay for parking; there aren't that many people trying to park here on the weekends to merit charging for it.

Mediocre, and for the price borderline unacceptable. My first complaint are the very loud and dysfunctional elevators, which can be heard in the rooms, even in the middle of the night. It sucks to wake up from an elevator saying “PING” at 3 am. The other problem is that the hotel restaurant closes randomly, whenever the staff pleases, based on number of customers. On those nights one is redirected to the bar for a reduced menu. Again, at this price point not really acceptable. A minor complaint are the side mounted shower heads. This may be sufficient to hang the shower head while taking a bath, but makes for a poor showering experience.

Very nice room. Bed was super comfy. TV was huge. They upgraded my room for free because better rooms were available.

Very nice rooms and gym facilities. The parking was convenient. Also the complimentary breakfast was top notch and had a good variety.

Location is great. Train station is a block away. Many restaurants within walking distance. Room is nice design with view however it is small and sheets are not clean. Bathroom is big and the water pressure is very very strong.

Better then most of the hotels in Arlington. My room was comfortable and clean with a nice view of the river. Did not try the food service due to consistently poor reviews. Lobby is a negative; small, cramped and not welcoming design. Staff tried to be helpful but seem constrained by their own computer reservation system. Work on the bar and restaurant and they might be worth four stars.

Nice place with great location. Minus two stars since the person working at the bar lobby area wouldn't let me eat my own food at the table. Spent about $1K on my stay there so that's not cool.

It's a nice hotel. There's a parking lot. It's a minute to the subway.

There to visit my daughter in Georgetown. Right over the bridge from the school. Nice. Clean hotel. Only complaint. Elevator to parking garage has been under renovations for several months. The walk to your car is not an enjoyable one. Would still definitely stay there again.

Comparable in amenities to most all Hyatt's. Queen size room is a bit small. TV was huge which was a plus. Hotel restaurant was just ok. Vegetable sides were served cold.

The rooms are very nice and very clean. The environment feels very open and inviting. The elevators are quick and the wait is short. They are a very close distance to many different places to eat and shop.

Nice hotel, conveniently located just by Rosslyn Station. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous, room was well appointed and comfortable. I didn't try any of the food service options, but had a very pleasant stay.

The room was spotless, the bathroom, bed blankets and pillows were extremely comfy. It's a shame not to have a microwave. I'd give the hotel 4.5 stars if the garage elevators worked. Be prepared to have to carry luggage up 3 or 4 flights of stairs with no help from staff.

I attendded a professional event here for my company. The ballroom was nice and large and the speaker/microphone system worked well. Has valet service at the front entrance, which was a plus. I believe the hotel catered some simple breakfast in the morning and it was quite good. Seems like a nice place to stay too.

Good service but food was okay. Asked for a burger medium rare. Came out well done and burner (Patty was literally black). Didn't give it a one star because the server was good as we're the fries and complimentary bread+butter.

Really, really love this place. For my job I come here often with groups and the staff is so kind and friendly. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious. It's a good location, obviously not right in the hear of D. C. But there is a lot to do within the area.

Great hotel! Clean rooms, attentive staff. Restaurant service was poor, so one lost star for that. Also, don't try to stay here if the parking garage elevator isn't working. We had to carry luggage up five flights of stairs to the hotel lobby.

Really great hotel, comfortable beds and room. Really friendly staff and ideally located for local restaurants and metro. Short walk to beautiful Georgetown and a pleasant but longer walk to the monuments down the river. Highly recommended.

The room doors don't block out any noise. You hear everything from the hallway, and it was very noisy during my stay. The lobby bar is pricey, $28 for a double Grey Goose. Rooms are on the small size.

This is a hotel worthy of the stars that has: very fine, comfortable rooms, great breakfast, very close to Metro Station from where you go in all the places you want!

For people visiting the area with other accommodations, the Hyatt has a great early bird parking deal as well as a good happy hour. Good location, too. Fully recommended, although I've never been in a room!

We are family of 5 with infants. We booked two room (same 8 floor with city view) and stayed two nights. The hotel location is very convenient. Lots of restaurant nearby, including supermarket. Only 15mins drive to Washington. But the (paid) parking lots is very narrow, not much parking space. Unfortunately the elevator is out of service during our stay. We did not park our car at the parking lot. We park on the road and pay for the meters (it's better and save money). Recep…tionist are helpful, providing tourists map, restaurant list for us. Room is clean but our bathroom has smell during check in. Housekeeping still have room to improve, didn't change our used cup and hand towels after makeup our room. But my parents room is up to standards, clear and tidy. During check in and out, nobody helpings or even ask for loading the luggages. I felt little bit disappointed. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay if the hotel have a swimming pool will be more luxury.

Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming on arrival. Rooms are very nice and exceeded our expectations. More specifically, the TV was larger than we expected and the beds were very comfortable. Dining options are scarce at the hotel itself, but there are several great places to eat in the surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

It would have been better if there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. And a microwave in the room would have been convenient. The rooms are small with the room vents inconveniently next to the bed. The room door is very heavy. You got to push hard to open it.

After a few stays here and a wonderful experience each time, I knew it was time to write a review for this place. Every single stay I've had has resulted in the best service all the way through — from check-in, to housekeeping, to all of the employees at the front desk making sure I have everything I need and know about anything happening at the hotel during my stay. Every employee I've encountered has gone above and beyond the standard politeness and that alone makes me want to stay here again. Other than that, this hotel is in a super convenient location (right by the metro, taxis out front, etc. ) and is in close proximity to lots of restaurants and a CVS, should you need one. The buffet breakfast in the morning is really great as well — tons of options (omelets, French Toast, eggs, potatoes, pastries, yogurt, fruit, literally everything). Hotel rooms have always been clean, tidy and equipped with everything I need.

Lovely rooms, have coffee in room which is fab, service excellent, staff attentive and friendly … would definitely recommend.

This is my 10th time staying at this location and they never seem to disappoint me. I love the service, the location, and the hospitality. I did not like being able to get out of the garage due to the blocking arm being out of service but one trip to the front desk and the problem was solved. When visiting the D. C. Area, this has and will always be my 1st choice.

Refined and practical rooms. Very good impression during check-in and check-out. The location was of great use: just three metro station from the Ronald Reagan Airport. Two National Mall stations, and the shuttle to Dulles within a minute's walk.

Great experience! We got engaged in our room the first night we were here which made our trip unforgettable! The staff were very kind and helpful with helping us find out the best ways to get around! The food at the restraint was delicious! Had the best weekend ever! ❤️

I love this hotel. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is way too expensive per day. All the rooms should have clocks but don't. Those are my only two negatives. Overall, I love the hotel and will continue stay here whenever I need a room. Thanks.

The staff was friendly and remembered people of out party that had been there years earlier. The rooms were nice and the beds were really comfortable. Unfortunately, when we got to the hotel for our check in (at 330/4, check I'm started at 2 or 3 I believe) and some of our rooms weren't ready. I had to wait an hour before I could go to my room, so we did not get to go out and do what we wanted that evening and had to change our plans. But even so, the staff was apologetic and my overall experience was very nice. Also, the elevators were super cool, they were really fast.

Rate it very poor. Their advertised photo for their rooms was vastly different then what they delivered. I paid 180.00 a night for a room that had 3 feet on either side of the bed. I have photos to confirm this but this system does not allow me to attach photos to the review. When I spoke with their front desk people, they stated those room go for more; to which I stated the ads did not bring this up, and neither did it mention your parking was $23.00 a day; but the ad did state parking was free (an out and out falsehood). Their restaurant turned out to charge me (one time & one time only), $23.00 for a western omelet.

The location was great — right next to the metro. And I loved the vibe I got from the hotel, sort of trendy and modern. My only complaint — and this is pretty minor — is that I didn't have the option to take the stairs to my room. Elevators only!

The place was really nice and the staff was really nice and helpful. I was there only for an interview and only got to see the lobby it was a really nice experience.

Food portions & quality were fantastic, but definitely missing out on a larger lunch crowd as the prices are a little steep. Great environment & service though!

Comfortable bed with good furniture in the room. Great service people they look you in the eyes and greet you, especially at the breakfast area. The room was hot but responded to our use of the thermostat. No view really but the metro is incredibly close so the location was great.

Great hotel in great location! Right near Roslyn Metro Station so easy access from Reagan. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are extremely well taken care of. Great bar/ restaurant in house too.

The location is ecxellent, with easy access to the Metro just one block away. The staff are very respectful and courteous. The rooms are what I would expect: clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the availability of cuisine choices in the area immediately surrounding the hotel. The mini fridge provided an easy way to store leftovers and other supplies. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a microwave next to the ice machine on our floor, since the rooms themselves don't have a microwave.

I recently stayed there for my 8th grade Washington D. C. Trip just a week ago and it was great. The rooms were outstanding and larger then any hotel I've stayed in so far. Although, me and my roommates did fine a ton of broken pretzels and half-eaten pastries in a cabinet. Even with that problem, it smelled bad until it was removed from the room by my school principal. The lobby was the high-end class part of the hotel and the food was way better than any hotel food I've had. Thank you for such a great expirience.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference October 2-4, 2015. I had a wonderful experience with the staff. The rooms are a little small but very clean. Parking was expensive but that may be standard for a downtown hotel in Arlington. The staff was incredible from the bellman, to the housekeeping to the wait staff during the convention meals. Ms. Mildred was amazing!

The Hyatt Arlington rocks! The management and staff are so helpful and friendly. Great location and clean rooms. They have gone above and beyond to ensure my clients are well provided for during there stay. I highly recommend this hotel to vacationers and business travelers planning on staying in the area. Look no place else the Hyatt Arlington has it all.

Very nice rooms (modern, new furniture, nice design, close to DC), but the breakfast is not acceptable. The breakfast staff is absolutely not interested to treat you as an appreciated or welcome guest. You can see and feel that no one is motivated to make you feel comfortable. In the full american buffet only the basics are included (nothing else than regular coffee, no bottled water, no cheese. ). I am Diamond Hyatt member and even in a Hyatt Place the breakfast and service is much better. In addition the breakfast is buffet is already closing at 10:15 instead of the announced 10:30. Furthermore I agree with the other reviews, the air condition and the fridge are extremly loud.

It's an old building that was renovated a few years ago. Sadly, this results in rooms with a noisy aircondition/heater unit that automatically starts in the middle of the night. The breakfast buffet was alright, and the staff was friendly.

Great Location, Spacious Room and Friendly/Honest Staff We really like this Hyatt Arlington that we made another 2 reservations right after this trip. The hotel is right across the street from Rosslyn metro station that’s so convenient and DC’s Metro is really reliable and very fast. They gave us a very spacious room on the top floor facing north with a very nice view of Washington National Cathedral, Potomac River and beautiful Georgetown. The room was clean with updated amenities, in room safe, coffee maker, small fridge, large LCD TV, 2 nice arm chairs and plenty of desks/tables to work on. The room was very quiet and the A/C heater system was quiet and efficient. Wi-Fi is not free but $9.95 for up to 4 devices a day was reasonable and signal/speed was pretty good. Every morning complimentary coffee was served at Starbucks that was an A+. We finally got the Smarttrip cards for Metro and liked them very much and the cards really saved us money and time. You can get this card at a different machine from the ticket machine and then refilled at any tickets machine. We visited Pentagon, Tidal Basin and Washington Monument this time. We were really lucky to see lots of Cherry Blossoms on Maryland Ave in front of Mandarin Oriental Hotel between US Capitol and Jefferson Memorial/Tidal Basin. You can walk across Key bridge and you can visit beautiful Georgetown in minutes from the hotel.

I and my spouse decided to stay at the Hyatt Arlington Hotel also this is our first time here and our last time here as well. I normally stay at the Double Tree or the InterContinental. To begin, we were informed incorrectly about the room deposit. Despite this we kept an open mind. Next, they charged us for a reservation that was cancelled so that we could make this new reservation and get a room rate with a parking package. To ameliorate this problem they stated they would comp us an additional night and that all we had to do was go to the front desk so they could reprogram our room keys. As we are out we see that they then charged us for the same room that they stated would be a comp for free. They made it seem like they knew nothing of the comp despite it being the in-house accounting department that made the comp. Then they stated they would refund this fee to us once the manager came in the next day but when we came in that night our room card didn’t work and we couldn’t get into the parking garage. Lastly, once all that was straightened out and we basically had to abandon our car to go talk to the front desk about the room key not allowing access into the garage since the garage wouldn’t allow us to back-up we then came back to our room to see that housekeeping didn’t clean it, I expect a clean hotel room with fresh towels and soap if I’m PAYING for it.

This hotel swindles you for everything. Want to park pay excessive fee. Need to stay in garage for a few extra hours pay excessive fee. Need internet excessive fee. Also the comforter and pillows had dried blood on them. Otherwise nice rooms but they nickle and dime you.

We just stayed at the Hyatt 8/24-8/27. Everyone we encountered from making reservations by phone to the staff when we arrived where all very nice, attentive and quick to respond when we ask for something. The location to the Metro was wonderful. Across the street. Which is why we picked the hotel to begin with. The room and bathroom where very clean. I came on to see if they offer different rooms for our next trip to Washington which might be this spring. We will definitely stay there again. Gave it 4 stars because I wish the room was a little more friendly. With a family of four there is really no place to sit down to eat. A desk which to us is not needed and a small round table where not the best choices to accommodate a family of four. Would have loved to ordered room service for breakfast while each where getting ready for the day, but no place really to put it. Thanks Hyatt for our stay.

The one word to describe the Arlington Hyatt is "adequate. " Nothing about my experience here stands out as exceptional, and the amenities I've come to typically expect at a hotel are absent (basic cable tv) or require a supremely inflated fee ($11 for internet access 24 hours? No continental breakfast, but a $15 room service entree or a $4 individual yogurt? Yikes. My meal at the airport was less expensive, and they have free Wi-Fi. ). The room and the linens were clean, the staff were polite. But that's really all that can be said about it. Given the choice I'd probably pick somewhere else to stay next time, in the hopes that the competitor would provide more than a passable hotel experience.

Overall, this hotel suffers from poor customer service and an unfriendly staff, with the exception of the bell captain's staff, which does a good job with bags and cabs, etc. The wait for service at the front desk is painfully long. On a busy Friday evening, there were only two people actively working the desk, while a third seemed to be lost in space, occasionally answering a phone call or two. I expect the front desk at any hotel to be able to break large bills and make change for me when I need it. That proved to be pulling teeth at this hotel. The front desk who finally waited on me had to check with her manager to make sure it was a OK to break a $5 in 5 $1s. That's completely ridiculous. What's more, she said she didn't have enough quarters to give me the change I requested until her manager told her it was OK to take a roll from another drawer. I'm sorry, but this screams a lack of knowledge and professionalism. When I complained about the lousy service to a young woman who identified herself as the front desk manager, a large African American man who had walked behind the desk about a minute earlier proceed to insert himself into the conversation I was having with the front desk clerk from about 15 feet away. He started asking me if I had a problem. I told him I was talking to the front desk manager, not to him, and I hadn't asked for his help. After I was finished talking to the front desk manager, I proceed to get this officious employee's name.
