Review of Hyatt Centric Arlington 4*

Great Location, Spacious Room and Friendly/Honest Staff We really like this Hyatt Arlington that we made another 2 reservations right after this trip. The hotel is right across the street from Rosslyn metro station that’s so convenient and DC’s Metro is really reliable and very fast. They gave us a very spacious room on the top floor facing north with a very nice view of Washington National Cathedral, Potomac River and beautiful Georgetown. The room was clean with updated amenities, in room safe, coffee maker, small fridge, large LCD TV, 2 nice arm chairs and plenty of desks/tables to work on. The room was very quiet and the A/C heater system was quiet and efficient. Wi-Fi is not free but $9.95 for up to 4 devices a day was reasonable and signal/speed was pretty good. Every morning complimentary coffee was served at Starbucks that was an A+. We finally got the Smarttrip cards for Metro and liked them very much and the cards really saved us money and time. You can get this card at a different machine from the ticket machine and then refilled at any tickets machine. We visited Pentagon, Tidal Basin and Washington Monument this time. We were really lucky to see lots of Cherry Blossoms on Maryland Ave in front of Mandarin Oriental Hotel between US Capitol and Jefferson Memorial/Tidal Basin. You can walk across Key bridge and you can visit beautiful Georgetown in minutes from the hotel. We left a wallet in the hotel room safe and found out a day after we checked out, we called Hyatt’s lost and found department right away. They returned our call immediately and confirmed that they will mail it back using ups. We got our wallet back in 2 days that was really nice and efficient service and everything in the wallet was still there. We strongly recommend this Hyatt Arlington to be a perfect hotel touring DC area since their price is right, location is wonderful and the services were unbeatable.
