You leave items behind they call you and say you left your straightener you tell them I’ll be here Thursday to pick it up drive 2 hours back on Thursday 40 mins later can’t locate my straightener very dishonest employees I don’t recommend staying there and front desk manager acts like it’s not a big deal that his employees steal guest items.

Everyone was very nice but the housekeeper need to step it up. We paid $122 a night, and came in to a room with blood on one of the beds white comforters, the brown cover over that was stained all pillow cases and sheets have black stains. Asked for new bedding had to make my own bed which I feel paying $122 a night we should not be doing. There was black hair all over the bathroom cups and ice tray and counter top. Looked like a man had shaved. The round mirror on the bathroom wall was filthy with fingerprints. None of the doors or elevators had been cleaned. I worked housekeeping for years and this is stuff that is inexcusable. I stayed here few years back and it’s nothing like it was when it comes to cleanliness. I highly recommend we stayed here to my mother and honestly was disappointed. Last night went up to the 3rd floor to get a drink someone had let their do poop 💩 on the carpet soon as you exit the elevator, and people had walked in it tracked all through the hall way the smell was unbearable. Wish I new I could do this last night I would have took pictures of it all but here is all I have kind of hard to take pictures of a mirror. I already cleaned the hair up and made my own bed. $122 a night though.

Room was clean: especially for a pet friendly room no odor at all! Night staff was a bit abrupt but quickly provided everything we needed.

It was a great room for the night. This was a rest stop for our two day road trip down to Georgia. Visiting my cousins for several days. Comfy pillows and very nice bed. Wish we had time to go into the very nice outdoor pool. But we had to do a late check in and early check out to stay on schedule. But if I ever pass by again and need a night's stay, this would be the place. So, I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a budget friendly hotel stay. $85/night. Free fast Wi-Fi, and free breakfast 6-9:30am.

The staff were very kind and accommodating to our large group. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful.

Nice facility with a great breakfast service. Centrally located to the airport, shopping and restaurants. A friendly staff topped it off.

Excellent customer service. I stay here every week for business. Kayla, Brenda and James make you feel right at home. Answered any and all my questions and concerns about surrounding area! Makes my trip enjoyable.

Customer service is wonderful. Very friendly staff. My only issues were 1) the slight odor in the room, and 2) the remote for the TV was missing. I called the front desk about the remote and within 5 minutes a remote was delivered. Room was clean and I can't say enough how great the front desk staff was. Definitely on my list of places to stay. Walking distance to a mall and plenty or restaurants.

Very clean, people were very friendly. They provided us a shuttle back to Berglund center the next morning which was very helpful. Breakfast was not bad, it had a wide variety of food/drinks/snacks to munch on. Real close to down town to uber/lyft from. Worth what you pay.

This is definitely a budget hotel, but the prices weren't that budget. We paid$135 as pay of a group "deal, " but as I drive in, Google was telling me the nightly rate was$68. We had to switch rooms because the first we were assigned smelled like urine. The second room was ok, if outdated. The breakfast was typical of this kind of place — see below picture. I will day the staff were lovely. Overall, "meh… ". Would've felt better at$68 than what we paid.

Nice clean hotel, the room was clean and comfortable and the evening desk clerk was so helpful and friendly. There were plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity to choose from offering discounts when showing your hotel key. Would definitely recommend.

I've stayed here several times. No complaints in regard to amenities or room quality. There's one desk clerk, however, that could use a course in dealing with the public. She's not the right person for day shift front end clerk.

The staff was incredibly friendly, they called me by name every time I entered and exited the hotel. Will definitely be staying again.

This was one of the best places I have stayed at in along time. The room was extra clean but any one thing I could change is the air/heat unit it was loud all night but I would still stay again when I am staying over night… Thanks To The Staff.

Will never stay at this hotel again. The first morning I left for breakfast the maid caught me on the way out of the room. Made a comment about us "not getting our room cleaned for 2 days" but I had checked in the night before. The same day, the maid accused me of smoking in my room (i don't smoke and the whole hotel is non-smoking) but she didn't speak to me about it. She went to my friends room and complained to them about it saying she was going to have the supervisor look into it. I only heard about it when I met with my friends for lunch and THEY told me. Apparently someone had smoked in the stairwell at the end of the hall but she decided to gossip about it with guests and talk to them about me including telling them my room number. My friends also had problems with the cleaning staff. They would ask for towels/tp etc. And they would not be brought. When they reminded them, they were told "you never asked for them". They had to take out their own trash after two days when they didn't even have the do not disturb sign in. When I checked out, the front attendant was on her cell phone.

My recent stay was EXTREMELY unpleasant. There was a massive power outage that caused the air and lights not to work during my stay. Although I understand it’s not the establishments fault or error, their consideration for empathy towards my family and I was zero. There wasn’t any talk of any sort of appeasement or refund. I even explained that I had a 14 hour drive the next day and didn’t get any rest. I really felt like the staff could have been a bit more considerate towards our stay.

In an excellent location, rooms are clean and in great condition. The service here is phonomanal. Very friendly staff!

I give Comfort Inn 5 stars because the room was pretty, clean and comfortable. Also, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Hotel was clean, convenient, and quite. Beds were comfortable. In the middle of restaurants and shopping. Pool was well taken care of and exercise area up to date. The staff friendly, helpful, and all from the Roanoke area. Staff was ready with directions and recommendations of sites and how to get there.

This is a good stop off point to rest it is under a renovation hey are up rateing all rooms.

The people at the front desk are very concern about your stay. They are very friendly they always greet you with a smile. This is a great place to stay at when you are traveling are on vacation. The atmosphere is fantastic.

The receptionist was friendly and informative. I was happy to see a microwave and mini-frige in our room. The cleanliness and appearance of the room was a 10/10. I hope to come back again!

We are doing a road trip across the Southeast for summer vacation with our 9 year old. This is by far the best place we have stayed. Very clean, spacious, and quiet. Great location next to a ton of restaurants, shopping, and a movie theater. There is also a small guest laundry room downstairs in case you need to do laundry. The front desk staff were so helpful and very polite. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean and the view of the mountains is just gorgeous. I didn't get his name but the guy at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Very nice, clean room! My 10 year old son left his charger to his kindle there and I called that evening to see if they had found it. The lady at the desk called me back and said they had found it and said they could mail it back to us. Very kind to take the time to do this and my son really appreciated it as well. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever this way again!

Excellent hotel when traveling with your pet. Very friendly staff, good breakfast which was included, and very close to many restaurants and a mall. My family and pet dog had a fantastic stay here.

We stayed at Comfort Inn Airport this past weekend and had one of the best, if not the best, experiences at a hotel/motel. The whole experience had a lot to do with Ms. Brenda Payton, I didn't ask her what her position was but she was all over everything. I'm in the "service" business and she, and everyone else on staff, KNOW service. Food service for breakfast was excellent, rooms were very clean, couldn't ask for a better place or staff.

This hotel was exstremly nice. I stayed on the top floor and the view of the Mt was so peacefull. The staff was the best ever. I would stay again.

I stayed one night thy charged me for 3. I spoke to the manager he tells me there wasn't anything he could do. I had to go to my bank and file fraud charges. I will never stay there again!

I stayed here in February 2016. I planned to be here for five nighrs, but checked out after 3 because I was getting bitten by something at night. I later had it confirmed as bed bugs. They did offer to move me to a new room however I did not want to risk it. The room appeared clean and the manager said she and house keeping inspected the room, but the doctor who confirmed it was bed bugs says they often leave no trace.

The service was incredible. Made many special accommodations for my pregnant wife. Love them!

Stayed Friday night (10/2/15). Had a wonderful clean room (loved the pillows)! Staff was very nice (especially James), he had coffee ready, very early on Saturday morning for all those who were attending E-Women. Great breakfast! Good job!

Upon checking in we were greeted nicely at the front desk, our room was perfect. Our trip was almost ruined by another hotel, but was saved by being able to book a room here. The hotel room was clean and smelled very "fresh" when a entered! Should our travels ever bring us back to Roanoke we will stay here again! (On a side note there was a little rubber duck in our bathroom with a note saying to take him and photograph our adventures with him, which my kids LOVED I have never seen this before but it is a great idea! )

This is the best hotel in Roanoke. Best breakfast, best rooms, best staff and best atmosphere. I have been staying there for 7 years when I need accommodations and they even remember me!
