Stayed during promotion of receiving $25 gift cards per night (up to four) and only received one out of the four. I have called the 800 # several times and keep being told "they have been sent". You shouldn't advertise something and then not provide it.

Great location, and good deal with two small dogs.

Most comfortable bed, quiet, best night!

We stayed here under horrible circumstances. My daughters fiancé suffered a brain Aneurysm and we stayed here during that time. They supplied a shuttle back and forth to the hospital. On the last day we were unsure if we would be there another night. They let us have the room and when my he passed and we were going home they didn’t charge us for that day. The staff was amazing! Melany who was house keeping on our floor was super nice! Thank y’all for everything!

Hotel is in a very convenient location and the beds are comfortable but that's where the positives end. To start, they have a total of 4 handicapped places 2 of which were filled by vehicles with no handicapped tags or place cards so myself and family members had to walk from the opposite side of the building to the front door our first night. There's also a dedicated "battery car" section of parking that's as close as handicapped, but not one car was parked there but we were afraid to get in trouble if we parked there so we were out of luck on parking near the front. Next, the handle in the bathtub completley fell out, the drains in both the shower and sink dont work properly, there was limescale on the shower head and mold in the ceiling above the shower (which they tried covering with wallpaper but it didnt work out like they planned). The closet door never shut properly and the walls/room door is so thin that you can hear every step and word made by anyone out in the hallway. The pool was so overcrowded we couldn't even try to get in. If I knew what I paid for these rooms and what I would have received in return, I would have never booked this hotel and went with another chain next door that I've been to in the past. Adding to the review on the second day: breakfast was COLD. Asked front desk for a full refund for my whole reservation if I checked out on time after discussing my concerns, was only offered a partial refund.

We arrived with children after a long 8 hour drive only to find the whole building is out of hot water on a cold night that’s 34 degrees. Mid bath my poor toddlers had to get a cold rinse. Im very disappointed that there was not manager available at 9pm on a Sunday night. Yes it’s the weekend but the front desk young man said “he called is manager and waiting for a call back. ” Other than this mishap, everything else in the hotel so far is perfectly fine. UPDATED REVIEW: with in the hour they fixed the issue and apologized. Im glad it was a short lived issue and was taken care of immediately.

A pleasant surprise for a lower cost hotel. Clean rooms, comfy beds, cold AC, hot shower, super friendly staff. Probably the speediest check-in I’ve ever experienced. We will make this our regular hotel while in Roanoke.

Hotel was nice for the price! Room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Didn’t get to enjoy the complimentary breakfast because I had to hit the road at 3am but a plus that it’s included. Would return if I passed through the town again!

Overall nice hotel. Everything is as you expect it to be. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, very clean, decent Wi-Fi, normal breakfast, ample parking, friendly staff. Needs a few minor repairs here and there but nothing that effects your stay.

Very nice reception area and great staff. The room was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice linens and fluffy pillows which was welcome after a long days drive. Doris, our breakfast lady, was gracious and on top of every aspect of the area. Over all, a great stay.

Great Hotel, very biker friendly! Their bike wash station was very nice, just bring a travel size soap and your all set, they will provide towels for drying. So don't ruin it for everyone, return the towels. Very close to a lot of nice places to eat, and a mall and Wal-Mart that has gas.

We were torn between a couple places to stay at this time around but ended staying here at Best Western plus. So many other hotels right across from each other. Plenty of available parking space. The rooms were ok. Breakfast was great. Plenty variety and the staff was very friendly. I'd recommend staying here and if we ever pass through again I'd stay here a second time.

We stopped over on our way back home from vacation. The staff very nice and friendly. The rooms clean and designed well. The breakfast is free. You get waffles, eggs sausage, biscuits gravy, grits, yogurt fruit, cereal, danishes, and bagels. Coffee, apple or orange juice. Everything was that needed to be hot was! They do have an in and outdoor pool. Overall a great experience and we will be back if we go through that town again!

It is conveniently located near freeways. Yet it situates a good distance from all the traffic noise. Hot coffee, hot tea, fresh fruits, and cookies are welcome sight for travelers at the end of day. My room was pleasantly quiet and comfortable. The early hour breakfast time was helpful for early travelers.

The location of this hotel is great and within walking distance of a shopping mall and restaurants. The rooms are dated, but pretty clean. The service is also very good and the employees/maintenance teams were very responsive to my requests.

Stayed at the BW as a stop between destinations on trip. The room was beyond great, clean and the bed was so comfy. The location was not far from the interstate and was close to restaurants and a mall. The check in went smooth and we were given a discount. Would definitely stay again, even just as a get away from home.

Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed for accommodations. Continental breakfast was fantastic with eggs and everything else you'd want grits and biscuits and gravy whenever you want it. 14000 % better than the Super 8 that we stayed at the previous night.

Stayed 5 nights with the Best Western Inn Plus at Valley View. Great Wi-Fi and room. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice. I had an issue but the manager Lori went above and beyond to assist me in resolving. I would recommend this hotel!

The Best Western is located in the business district of Roanoke on the outskirts. Only expensive but nothing special.

We spent two nights here. It was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay. The breakfasts were very good and the staff kept everything hot, fresh and full. The staff was also very friendly. They really do deserve this five stars!

I had no issues checking in. No issues with the room. No issue with the breakfast. Room was fine. Bathroom fine. Service fine. Nothing really stood out to me whether or good or bad. But, for a place to just crash your head at night and speed away from in the morning with their toast between your teeth, it will do the trick.

It was a very nice stay. Rooms were nice, bathrooms were clean, staff was pleasant and breakfast was AWESOME. I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this Best Western. The location is great, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable which after a long day made the stay so worthwhile!

We stayed one night on our way, and really enjoyed our rest! The hotel is clean, rooms are very comfortable (the "plus" really makes a difference! ) and complimentary breakfast is hot and delicious. We will stay again any time we are on the road. 2 Queen beds and pets are allowed. The price is fair.

Your staff was excellent especially Rebecca and the friendly maids. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and everything worked. The dog friendly policy was awesome, though we were concerned about the pit bulls we heard about but didn’t see. The pool and breakfast and their long hours were the best! Love the waffles, non-smoking policy, low pet fee, and the all day tea/coffee station!

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Complimentary cookies and coffee were a pleasant surprise. It was just a shame that the pool was not in service as that was the only reason why we booked there.

Very nice hotel-clean and fairly modern. We chose it because pet friendly and even had dog poop bags near the side entrance. Employees very friendly — would definitely stay here again or look for BW Plus on next trip.

Arrived here after driving 16 hours (half way to FL) to stop and sleep. Walked in and the front desk lady was sitting on the couch on her phone and ROLLED her eyes when she had to check me in. She then gave me a hard time over my New Hampshire ID. We get to our room and the key doesn’t work. A cleaning lady tried to help us get in her key didn’t work either. About 35 minutes later we finally get into our room to find the toilet doesn’t flush and there is no fan in the bathroom. Hot and stinky! The shower was grimy to say the least. They put contintental breakfast WHAT A JOKE! The comfort inn next door my sister said she stayed at looked better and better each passing moment. We will NEVER stay at a Best Western again nor will we recommend it to anyone! WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!

Room was nice, but check the towels before using to make sure they are clean. Pool room was hot but the pool was cold. Breakfast was tasty and filling and they offer a free Grab & Go" snack pack that was helpful while travelling. Didn't feel like they should be a Best Western "Plus". Not quite sure they are up to that standard, but the rates were reasonable and the beds were nice.

Easy access from highway. Loads of places to eat and shop if needed. Lovely hotel in an area where there are several hotels to choose from. Staff is friendly and polite. An enjoyable stay.

I always stay at the Best Western Plus at Valley View when I have business in Roanoke. It is like a home away from home. You get an indoor pool, fitness room, good breakfast, clean rooms, great internet, and a friendly staff. All of this for a very affordable price.

The staff is nice, though slightly less than prepared. I had to go back to the lobby to ask about restaurants in the area, but the rooms were nice. Hot breakfast was only ok. No bacon.

It's obviously been refurbished because there weren't signs on the building, so my frustration didn't last past checking in. The hotel is really nice, had a pretty good breakfast and a great staff. It is centrally located with a shuttle, should you need one. One note though; the address needs to be accurate for Valley View boulevard NW. You will get close with Valley View but will take you to the nearby mall.

We spent one night here and every thing was great. Perfectly clean room (even had a little rubber ducky on the side of the tub! ). Very nice breakfast included the next morning. All staff very friendly. Highly recommend!

We stayed here last night. I found the attendant at the front desk (Dustin) to be very pleasant and helpful. He was able to get my family and I checked in very quickly. I will say our room was a little on the musty side but once we got the AC going it was fine. My son loved the beds with the fluffy pillows, everything was neat and clean. In the morning we were checked out promptly. Overall it was a good stay.

Loved this hotel! Very convenient off 81 loved the location near a mall so lots of restaurants for dinner and places for breakfast in the morning. Very clean and comfortable room. Loved the chair and ottoman in the room. The bed was super comfortable and extra high.

I am letting my wife give her experience, since she suffers severely with allergies: I have never had to write a bad review until now. My issue was that the room was very musty and made me feel very ill. They changed our room three times and it was the same issue each time. After being changed three times I was too exhausted and sick to go anywhere else. We were celebrating 22 years of marriage, but I was miserable. I requested a discount for all my suffering and was denied. Thankfully, afterwards we traveled to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and stayed at Hampton Inn and it was the complete opposite: very clean, comfortable, and no musty smells to make me sick. I no longer ever want to stay in a Best Western again. Although the staff I dealt with was very polite, I will warn any one with bad allergies steer away from this place.

This hotel is pitiful! One of their front desk agents screwed up a hotel reservation for my husband and children. After sitting in accident traffic for 2 hours they arrive to the hotel to be told there was no rooms available. There is no manager on duty on the weekend, front desk agent has to reach her on her cell phone. Received a call back from the front desk agent, manager unwilling to comp a room after they clearly made a mistake — only give a discount. What type of business are you running and how lazy not to have a manager on duty? No customer service at this location, I wouldn't recommend this location to an enemy as they are ok with leaving a man and three children stranded and not make it right when they have the power to do so. Ultimate fail, you guys are horrible — hope something like this doesn't happen to you family.

We are traveling from Georgia back home to New York after dropping off Grandma and Georgia after staying at our house in New York. The motel we stayed in heading down to Georgia was not well at all it was called Days Inn. We decided to stay in this hotel coming back up just me and my two daughters and I will tell you what this is the best hotel we have ever been and they have a great breakfast with a great lady who keeps i'm checking on our needs. If you ask me if I could tip her I would. They have a great brevis more than the normal motel and great hotel rooms very top of the line. We got a coupon out of a Virginia coupons book and we are only paying $84.99 per night for a double bed room. I had to add on one extra night of staying here because I like this hotel so much. If I could I would live here. I rate y'all five stars plus.

It is a hotel almost perfect. You do not have a restaurant in the building, but there are so many in the area that was not a problem.

When we walked into the room we immediately noticed the smell. It smelled like a damp dirty dog. Within a few minutes the pages of my book became damp to the touch and wrinkled due to the room. Even when after moving to another room it was the same issue. Overall it was a horrible experience not recommended.

After 14 hours of driving my husband and I stopped here with our 2 children before finishing our long road trip home. Very pleased with this hotel. Price was decent, clean, conveniently located off I-81/I-581 and plenty of food options around. There is a mall next to it as well. Breakfast was good and the lady who runs it was so sweet. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here after a 14 hour drive with 2 small children. Conveniently located, great price, clean, great breakfast run by a sweet lady. We arrived after 10 pm and the front desk staff was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is absolutely perfect — very clean, quiet, safe. Complete with a rubber ducky on your tub when you walk in. The breakfast was hot and tasted great, everyone on staff was very pleasant and made sure you were comfortable. So happy with our experience here. Will definitely try out other best westerns because of it.

It's a really nice, clean hotel with a good breakfast and a friendly staff. The room was clean and pleasant and I got a good night's sleep. The only problem I encountered was finding it. The directions I got online didn't mention that it's in a giant shopping center and that it's in a group of hotels you can't easily see while you're driving around searching for it. Te person at the desk told me people get list all the time and sometimes they even have to send someone out to look for them! If you go, it's opposite TGIF Friday and behind the big Chinese restaurant (which has a great buffet). Good luck.
