Nice place, great service. Parking lot is small. I was in an 18 wheeler so it wouldn't fit. I had a nice clean room. I enjoyed it.

The location is good, next to a Mexican restaurant and in walking distance of many of magnolia stores. Bed is hard and the girl at the front desk was rude and didnt activate both cards to get into our rooms. Breakfast was better than most hotels and room was VERY clean.

Room was clean and quite. I had a great night's rest and the staff were all very friendly. There was breakfast in the morning and it was pretty good.

Clean, convenient, courteous staff, priced right. We had a 2 room suite. 3 adults and one tiny dog. Our room was on the side near SR 1488. It was very noisy. Traffic, emergency vehicles, people pulling into the lot, etc. I was getting dressed in th ed bathroom and could hear the phone conversation of someone upstairs as clearly as if they were in the room with me. The ice machine was in an alcove across the hall, and we heard it all night. Sooooo… I would say that the noise level left a lot to be desired.

The best hotel! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Pet friendly too. New renovations are up to date.

Great, comfortable and clean room. Wonderful breakfast. I'm a biscuits & gravy for breakfast man. This they excelled. The gentleman running the breakfast counter kept the area well stocked and scrupulously clean. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Fine hotel, especially commendable for its dog policy. All rooms are pet-friendly, and there's no surcharge for bringing a well-behaved pet. On the downside, the breakfast ends pretty early (9am on weekdays), and there's not much space for the dogs to do their outdoor biz. The furnishings are clean, but at least in our room, show a decent amount of wear.

Hotel room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. They had a smart TV and we could log into Netflix.

They were renovating but all that meant was new purple paint and new bedspread. So we were placed in a room, the ac was broke so she offered to put me in one of the renovated rooms, awesome… no ac still didnt work. Come to find out she told me all their ac units are set to never go lower than 72. So you can turn it down to 67 (what I do at home at night) and it will kick on and fake you out. The actual temp of unit will never go below 72. We literally woke up sweating. Horrible night.

It's a great place to stay. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms were super clean!

It is a great place. Great workers the breakfast is good pool could be a little deeper. We will definitely stay again.

This is a place really welcoming you. Rooms are nice and clean, bed sleeps good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plenty with many choices and coffee is great. Around the place some grass areas to walk the dog. One of the reasons we like La Quinta so much is they let you stay with your dog no problem. A great place where we will come back to for sure!

Very clean and accommodating. My family was displaced by Harvey, and they have gone above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Owners and staff are extremely hospitable! Very clean and many amenities including a wonderful breakfast! Pet friendly, which is definitely a decision maker if you must travel with your fur babies! I strongly recommend this hotel for a short or long term stay!

This La Quinta is pet friendly and the rooms are quite nice. They are in the process of refurbishing after only 8 years in business. They are always booked up so I recommend reserving early. I highly recommend them.

It was an OK stay in terms of the room, facility, pooland breakfast. Vending is a bit of a hassle. The machines were empty and had signs on them to go to the front desk for vending. At the front desk, I was short on cash and asked for some drinks to be charged to the card I provided for incidentals and the night clerk said that they couldn't do that because the items were provided by a third party. I offered to pay for them with a different card and got the same third party explanation. After the second attempt to pay for the drinks, the clerk went ahead and charged my card for them… so there was a way to get this transaction done. Suggestion to the management: Your guests don't care about the details your third party arrangements with vendors to bring in sodas and snacks for the guests to buy. Make all the business arrangements you want, but make them transparent to the guest. Buying a soda from your front desk was 500% more difficult than it should have been.

UNHAPPY STAY It is my 4th night here and once again the internet is not working. I have found a few of the staff members to either be rude or just not care. I have stayed here several times in the past and never had any issues but this stay is very different. The room will not cool down and the internet is so spotty I cannot even watch netflix.

We had a production meeting at this location and the ac went out. Eventually moved us to a room that had great ac. Honestly they did awesome I didn't give them 5 stars only because that small detail but they were great.

Clean, and friendly. I stayed for work reason during the floods. Nice rooms, tv, fridge, microwave. Good for business stay.

Rooms are clean and updated. Breakfast leaves much to be desired though. No omelette bar. Pool and fitness center is nice.

Decent hotel stay, very nice continental breakfast. The view overlooking the granite yard is kind of odd.

Pet policy : need credit card, one pet per room, has to be under 50 lbs. The smaller dogs poo and pee more indoors than big dogs.

The staff are always more than helpful with location — directions — meeting space — business center etc. Always clean and comfortable.

The staff are great and so are the rooms! You walk in and are greeted excitedly. Hotel rooms are clean tidy and have a modern sense of decor the beds are comfy. The employee at the desk named Steven I think… was awesome at taking care of any concern I had and made sure I was set for great stay, Even had a great sense of humor.

Great hotel will say again.

This place is poorly design but clean. Also overpriced for what you get. Will never stay there again.

Just a response to a review on here. Funny thing is that this hotel has only been open for 5 years and not once have they ever had a male manager and they DO NOT offer shuttle services.

This was an interesting stay for me — was on business. The room was moderately clean, but felt dirty during stay. What really bothered me was the professionalism, or lack there-of, of the hotel manager. After my shuttle was over an hour late to pick me up the manager picked me up in his personal vehicle with his daughter inside — very unprofessional. He continued to ask me personal questions, take me on a 'tour' of nearby restaurants, and then brought me back to the hotel. There he insisted on taking me behind the counter to get free beer for my stay. The next day he picked me up again in his personal vehicle and took me back to the hotel for complimentary beer and snacks. He commented on my looks and made me feel uncomfortable. I was afraid to leave my room to go get dinner. The hotel itself was moderately comfortable but the service was unacceptable.

I may be a little bias because I work for another La Quinta, but I stay at this location on a fairly regular basis because I have family in the Magnolia area. It's brand-new, very clean, always quiet, and the staff is excellent. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. Definitely worth the money, especially considering it has a convenient location.
