I think an average Italian could never stay in a property like this. Unfortunately in my case it was booked by the company that did not realize the sleazyness of the place. Discreet cleaning by American standards, rooms without closets, drawers… evidently do not serve the clientele of this hotel.

This place, as well as a few more in Houston, TX are bringing down my respect for the Motel 6 brand. I'm gonna notify the corporate office about this. First room given to us had not even been cleaned! when the clerk was ask if he even knew if the rooms were cleaned he said he didn't know, that it wasn't his job. Do the rooms pop up as available before or after they are cleaned? Disgraceful! NEVER DEALING WITH MOTEL 6 AGAIN! No hot water! Roaches! Lowlifes hanging around the doors and hallways! The photos are from the second room were given. At the time, we were so tired, we just had to deal with it. Very loud in the Hallways. Toilet ran all night. We finally got out at about 5 :30am. Just couldn't take it anymore. Talked to Corporate office, and they said they would be in touch with this roach motel, but so far, I have heard NOTHING from either of them. I am DONE with Motel 6! … P. S. — It is Wednesday June 27th. No response from either Corporate or the fleabag motel since I logged the compliant. When I talked to Corporate when I first posted, they said they would get back to me. A friend told me later, that since a lot of people in that area cannot get apartments, do to run ins with the aw, they tend to stay at these motels. I'm glad to know that now. Will never do business with your brand again. "We'll leave the light on… " is your slogan, and now I see why…, to keep the roaches out of the rooms!

The cleanliness could have been better. We saw several roaches and some other bugs. The location is not the best, it is next door to a hookah lounge/ strip club. However, it was inexpensive and they do not charge a fee for staying with pets. We had out great Dane with us and they didn't ask any questions.

We are in town for a pageant for my granddaughter and well there is a major roach infestation. I could not sleep because we were killing a roach every few minutes. Not an exaggeration! They are everywhere. We've stayed at other motel 6's and never had a problem. In the shower, on the sink, on the walls, the tv, and yes the bed. Disgusting.! I took pictures and I will be contacting the corporate office! If I could give zero stars I would.

Nothing to do specifically on the side of the 45 there were rats walking in the hallway.

Beautiful Hotel. Great price. The management was beyond helpful and kind. I would go back here, and if I ever need to be in Houston again, this will be where I stay.

We asked for a smoke free room the room stanked like smoke! The whole hallway did I was specially mad because of my 2 kids my 6 year old and a 6 month old. I had been here be for and I liked it but never again.

Rooms were very small especially for the price they charged. Bathroom very small, there wasn't an iron pretty much just the basics came with the room, bed, tv, tub, toilet, sink, and a counter top under the TV. They barely had enough towards and wash clothes, we had to get more and called front desk they couldn't even bring it to the room. Seems like when they clean the room they just did the bare necessities because the room was dusty. The air condition worked really good and they had HBO & HBO1 on the TV. They charged 2.99 to use the Wi-Fi and they only offer free coffee and not breakfast.

This is my second stay at this place. It's reasonable for me and the customer service lady and the guy, Adam were very helpful and nice to me. I give a 5 star for helpfulness and niceness. In fact, this time when I landed earlier then my check-in time, they let me in easily.

I didn't like the Loy parking lot, it was very far from the room, Smoking room, very strong smell, too strong,

The dirtiest and most worthless motel I ever been to. The first 3 mornings the housekeeping guy just walked in without even knocking first. Then they had to replace the window in our room and the smell from the glue was strong it made you want to pass out. Trash over flowed the cans everywhere. No one picks up their dog poop. And the police would drive around and people would go running. People always fighting and drinking outside. Just awful place.

The front desk and staff was nice and friendly. Adam, the front staff member, was kind enough to return our stuff that we had forgotten. I genuinely commend the cleaning staff because they had found our bag and returned it to the front desk which isn’t common in most motels I’ve been to.

Real Story About This Place* Wouldn't give this place one star if I didn't have to, I stayed here in the smoking section for more then 4 months because I was homeless after a house fire and it was the worst!

Upon arrival at this location, the first thing I saw was the nasty toilet & moldy carpets that was rolled up on the sidewalk in front of the main entrance to the lobby. Granted it was in an area of Houston that was hit hard by the flooding due to Hurricane Harvey. But, that was over 6 months ago. If there was that much damaged to the hotel's interior, as a company that survives off of customer service & the overall satisfaction of their guests. Personally, I would have closed the hotel's doors to do the remodeling needed to make the guest's experience more comfortable & inviting. The hallway to my room smelled heavily of mold. The bedroom was big. But, nothing on the walls muffled an sounds. Everything I did was amplified. And, I could hear people in the halls & other rooms; almost as if they were standing right next to me. The very small bathroom was shabby, only half of the light fixtures in the bathroom worked & the ones that were working made loud humming noises. Overall, the room was somewhat clean. Although, I think it was because of all the remodeling & flood damage, I saw multiple roaches scurrying across the floor over the course of the evening. I left before the night was over. I won't be staying here in the future.

My flight from Hobby to Houston was cancelled and I received a recommendation from the USO to stay at Motel 6. Price was $49 and a shuttle was provided to and from the motel. However, the hotel lobby told me over the phone that a shuttle was not provided so we took Uber. When we checked in, there was a notice on the front desk that a shuttle was provided. We asked the girl about it and she said that stopped and she hadn’t the time to make a change to the notice. We got our key and entered the most disgusting motel room we have ever seen. Within two minutes, I killed a cockroach scurrying across the floor. The room was just a big empty room with a king bed in the middle. We have stayed at Motel 6 before and have been satisfied. We weren’t expecting a five-star hotel but this was the worst room I have ever stayed in. We wished we had stayed the night in the airport but did sleep a few hours in a bed, which wasn’t all that bad, considering everything else. The ceiling mount for a smoke detector had no smoke detector hooked up to it. Major safety violation. Also, we were in a no-smoking room, but could have been fooled because the place stunk like smoke in our room and throughout. Wished we had checked Yelp or Google first because we would have avoided Hobby Motel 6 like the plague after reading the reviews. Asking me to review is disingenuous. The reviews on Google and Trip Advisor are accurate and the response from Motel 6 is a sham.

I do not recommend this hotel 6, it is a not very good place, in a week installed here we found cockroaches everywhere, rubbish when going out of the boats, a lot of noise in the hallways smoke even when not due, you pass through the rooms and smell marijuana, many addicts live, and to top two days there was no hot water… very bad Hotel.

They leave the light on to keep the roaches hiding. They left out a few amenities in the room description such as roaches, mold, homeless people all over the grounds and in the hallways being very loud at all hours of the night. Dog barking all night. No smoke detector in my room. Bed smelled so bad I laid on top of my cloths. Parking lot had huge holes in it. Seriously Motel 6 needs to tear it down and start over. I’ve stayed at many Motel 6 hotels. Sadly this the most run down trashy looking one I’ve ever been too. Late night when I arrived and there were undesirable people hanging out all over the parking lot. Very nervous going to my room which immediately I encountered roaches. Property in very bad condition. People loudly talking in the hallway and wondering back and forth. There is a difference in a budget hotel and a trashy dirty hotel. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars and go somewhere else. Staff was very nice and I’m sure they get complaints everyday about the condition of this place. Smoke detector was missing. And had a piece of tissue stuck in the mounting bracket. That is a major safety violation for hotels. I’ve got pictures of that. Dog barking from one of the rooms late at night. I could go on with many more issues but I’m sure everyone gets the idea.

The door to the room would not close unless I played with the mechanism. There were roaches in the room and when we told the front desk, they offered to move us to a different room — — if there are roaches in one room, there will be roaches in all the rooms. The halls smelled like pot and urine. Most of the outlets didn't work. I had my 10 day old granddaughter with me and my sister and daughter. We decided to leave a day early because ofall of this and the front desk kept trying to move us to another room. The owner tried making excuses about the problems with the room and finally agreed to refund me the money for the days we had left when we decided to leave. I will not go back there and will tell everyone I know to stay away from this property.

Room surprising nice compared to hallway. Room much larger and equipped with full kitchen (full size fridge, stove and sink. Hotel front desk clerk extremely courteous. I will stay again.

From the time I entered the room I was met by roaches, roaches and more roaches. I hurriedly close the door and ran to the front desk to demand my money back. The receptionist was very sorry and assured me another room upstairs with a kitchenette. I anticipated the decision but I went ahead and excepted. I entered the room which by the way was very clean and I have to say roach free. She even gave me a courtesy call just to make sure I was satisfied. I really wasn’t but I needed somewhere to sleep because I was about to crash. Now, besides the marijuana smell from the outside and a couple of loud tenants downstairs I had a restful night. But this experience has made me change my mind about staying at Motel 6. You’re too close to the airport for your motel to look and appear like this… Clean up Motel 6!

Ok now when I first got there I was put off a bit by the clerk at the front desk she seemed nervous. Overall it was a pleasant stay, the same clerk called and checked on me when I first got into my room which is something I never had happened before. My room was a bit old but it had a nice seat in the corner where the table was, had a refrigerator and microwave. I started to stay another night but I wanted to be closer to my job so I am staying at the one in Webster TX, big mistake. This room has no fridge or microwave, the front desk clerk did not make eye contact, and the room is plain compared to the Hobby Airport location.

Don't remember how I made my reservation. Employee good in the evening other than telling me I couldn't cancel if I booked for additional nights so I opted not to stay there again. My room was nice and quiet but a friend of mine said his was dirty and loud and he would never be back. I opted to only stay one night because of the inflexibility to cancel in case something else came up as my Business Meetings were in a different location and I didn't have a rental car available to me. No shuttle offered helped me make my decision and the inflexibility drove me out.

We had a pleasant experience. Room was clean and everything worked fine. Staff were nice and helpful. Price was great. My only issue was that it seems to attract a "thug" clientele. That's not the management's fault though so I can't criticize them. As a dad it's hard for me to say I'd bring my daughter back here for that reason if we have a safer choice. I was packing the car in the morning and a car was speeding through the parking lot so I just looked to see what was going on. The guy stopped and rolled down the window and asked if I had a problem. He was covered in face tattoos and the car was filled with other thuggish individuals. Glad my family was still inside.

I would rate this 4 star if it would have had a coffee pot in the room. This is a thumbs down for me. The price was good and the king size bed in a large room was a plus. Room service for fresh towels and cleaning was a plus.

Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE! My family and I got 2 rooms for the night on 09/30/2017 and after checking in, our room was filthy I had to call the front desk and ask for it to be cleaned. The sheets had black spots (dirt, bugs, maybe both) on them along with hair, I think they just made the bed and not changed the sheets. We left and went to our engagement that night and when we got back around 10 pm or so that's when we noticed COCKROACHES! All over the bathroom and floor by the door. I called the front desk twice with no answer, so I than went to the lobby. I spoke with the night clerk who shrugged his shoulders and told me there was nothing he could do about it and if he was able to find spray he would call my room so I could spray it myself. I asked for a refund and was told since I had been there over 15 minutes I would not get a refund and that it was not his problem. No only was the room disgusting the property was in bad shape also. I asked for their corporate number and he gave me some IT number. I wrote an email and about the situation and when I followed up with them a week later I was told the property would need to issue the refund of again only $10 (I paid $123). So if you want crappy and rude service and a corporate office who does nothing, then this is the place. Absolute worse stay in my life. We ended up sleeping in our car that night. I had to give 1 star just to post but I wouldn't even go that far.

It was the most horrible stay I have ever experienced. Staff was rude, people soaking wet from the storm were standing in line trying to get a room & the staff thought it was appropriate to be playing & laughing in the back office! There was no security what so ever! A few rooms down from me there was a loud domestic dispute & there was an obvious fight & the staff asked me to go with a female staff member "to check it out! " MAJOR SAFETY CONCERNS AT THIS PROPERTY! To top it all off, many people (like my family) were staying at this hotel due to hurricane Harvey & the staff was kicking people out due to them not being able to pay. They were given no other options or help, just thrown out into the storm! I was not in that type of situation, thank goodness & I was able to pay for 2 separate rooms for 3 nights for my family with no problem but there were so many unfortunate families that were evicted. This again was by far the worst stay ever & I have never felt so unsafe at a motel as I did at the Motel 6 on Airport Blvd in Houston, TX. Also, our room had a crack/partially open window that we could not close & it rained on all of my stuff! I did complain about it but I was told there was nothing they could do. The only person who actually cared was a older Hispanic lady who was part of the cleaning staff. She actually helped us with extra towels & tried to make us comfortable as possible. I'm sorry but I didn't get her name.

I like motel 6 because your better priced than your competiter's. The service is good. The rooms are clean. The refridgerator in my room did NOT work the afternoon that I got there. The next day they brought me a new one to replace the broken one. I was happy about that. I was there 3 days. The pool was wonderful, but I wish you would extend your hours to 10 or 11 pm because I like to swim in the evenings. It closed at 9pm. A couple and a single lady that came out there to go swimming also found it closed early and were disappointed as well. I like that your pet friendly even though I did NOT have my dog with me. I will come and stay again at your motels. You don't have breakfast or exercise rooms but your price is decent and affordable. I hope you don't change on that. Thank you. Patricia.

Having hard wood floors in a hotel that allows pets is odd. It's understandable from a cleanliness perspective, but the clickity clack of my dogs nails on that floor was awful. I also suspect someone was trying to tinker with my room door. I wasn't there at the time as I'd gone to dinner, but I got a call that my dog was barking. He travels with me all the time and is crated. He will not bark unless provoked. He didn't make a peep for the remaining several hours I was gone (at least no one called to say so) and was perfectly behaved when I got back. The hotel was also really beaten up. There was damage everywhere. I know it's Motel 6, but come on now…

The room was very clean the building itself was taken care of. Don't let the surrounding location detour you from starting. There is a gentleman's club next door but the area is very safe. I'm a single female traveler that was very content. The only issue I had was the cable was down who honestly wants to watch TV when you're on vacation. The pool unfortunately was closed and there was a couple roaches but this is Texas and the ocean is a half hour from there. The price is great and the rooms are huge. I enjoyed myself so much I extended my stay for an extra day and I will be going back and staying there again.

This is no reflection of the staff but the property owner/owners! The staff were polite and accommodating and they can only work with what's given to them. The building, room and grounds are in need of desperate remodeling. It seems they attempted to remodel… EPIC FAIL! Mold in the walls, floors and not just in the bathroom! The structure is literally falling apart! The pool was dirty and unsafe! With the temperature at 97 a nice swim would have been great but not at the risk of catching an infection! Let's not mention the STRIP CLUB RIGHT NEXT DOOR! Yep kids were present at the hotel! Yikes! more. Thank you!

Not the best Motel 6 I've stayed at but it wasn't bad. The room was large & clean with a King size bed. I didn't like the bathroom as the shower shared a common floor with the whole space. It was just separated by a shower curtain. I did notice a small roach near the A. C. Unit when I first checked in. I wasn't that freaked out by it though. I just needed a place to rest for 10 hours and it served it's purpose.

The room could not have been more modern! From the very cool laminate flooring w/matching tables to the raised basin bathroom, my room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Their pet friendly grounds w/bags and dump stations sealed the deal. I will stay here again and recommend them to others.

This is an interesting hotel. It appears that people "live" here. But it also has a gate for the parking lot and it is fenced. So I am not sure. The rooms are large but dated. It is slightly sketchy but I am not sure if this is a place that I would stay away from. There was also just lots of junk laying in the grass areas.

I think an average Italian could never stay in a structure like this. Unfortunately in my case it was booked by the company that you are not aware of the squalidita ' of the structure. Housekeeping so so but the room does not have a closet. Just does not exist. I thought I had been assigned a room without closet but then I found out that not even the other have it. It is not … Though it seems a hours.

The place is nice the staff is nice but I can't stop itching and scratching they need to clean more.

It was simple and cheap, no frills, no breakfast but a Denny's was a close walk. Stayed one night which was enough. Staff and shuttle driver were very nice, clean enough, TV was small but they've attempted to update to a modern feel, walls were thin though but not enough to keep us awake.

We've been there for about 3 weeks and it ok especially if your just using it as a place to rest and shower. Hey what do you expect for that price. I've been in worse for the same or more.

It's really nice for its price modern color just really really nice & clean.

+$35.00 for having another adult is a bit much especially with the quality of the place. The non-smoking rooms had a very strong smoking smell, typically I wouldn't mind but traveling with a 7 year old made it stick out more! The pool was disgusting to say the least! From a far it looked slightly green. After my boyfriend and niece jumped in they could feel things floating around in there! We travel A LOT and Motel 6 is our go to place and none we have come across have ever been even close to this bad! I would recommend going 20 minutes further south on I45 and staying at the Motel 6 on NASA Road wish I would of booked there like our previous trip! Never again at this place!

I stay here several times a month and the rooms are always clean and available. Is has easy access to the Interstate and to my work. I've stayed at numerous Motel 6's and this is the cleanest. I have never had trouble spiders or roaches. Thank you Amanda and Niroj.

They are very negligent about fixing problems. I stayed at this one three times in the last year. Each time I experienced a problem where the BACK ENTRANCE would NOT let me use my room key to get in. This is supposed to be a convenience for room holders near the back of the motel. Each time I told the front desk, and they said they would fix it — but no action was ever taken. You can tell that their key swipe box is very old, and should be replaced. But apparently they do not care enough about their guests to do anything, which would be a low cost item. However, they are putting their costs above the convenience of their guests. There are Days Inns and Super 8 motels in that same area. Maybe they would be more attentive to these matters.

Only one dog allowed. I was very surprised that this place would not rent me a room because I have two dogs. They said they only allow one dog under 20 lbs. I travel for a living and always bring my dogs. There fore I usually stay at motel 6 because it's dog freidly. I have never had a problem with checking in because of my dogs as every other motel 6 over the last 14 years allows more than one dog and allows dogs over 20 lbs. My dogs are both only 7 lbs but that's not really fair. Just thought you should know in case you have 2 or they are not really small.

Do-able for the price. Room I rented was, surprisingly, very clean and you could smell the Pinesol scent coming from the the floor like they just mopped earlier that day. Bed was neat and clean. Very spacious but a little bare. Room had a modern look to it which made it a lot nicer looking then most Motel 6's I've been to. Micro-wave, Fridge, TV, A/C worked accordingly. Overall an okay stay for only $63 and some change. Only cons are the "Free Wi-Fi". Reading other reviews about this location I found out I wasn't the only one that seemed to have this problem. You would think that they would fix it as I'm sure they get a lot of complaints about it. Another is mainly the area. The "G Spot" is literally right next door (strip club) and the area is a little sketchy, so it's probably not where you wanna stay if your're staying with family. Makes no difference to me seeing that I live 2 minutes down the road lol.

Room had nasty carpet smelled of mildew very rude staff my car was broken into while in parking lot BE CAREFUL where you park here.

Just as advertised AND they honored my discount with no hassle! The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because the staff is rather RUDE and internet is rather sketchy.
