Amber was the front desk attendant. She was upfront with us that the hot water wasn’t up to par but made up for the temporary water issue with her friendly and professional service. She did everything in her power to make our stay a comfortable one. They even reimbursed our Uber ride from the airport. Great staff makes a huge difference for a business! This one is great. We will stay again!

Staff was friendly enough, and the room was comfortable. The bathroom had some cleanliness issues, but it was addressed fairly quickly. The pool was utterly disgusting though. The water was a foul green color and smelled like urine. I'm not one for hyperbole, but it was a health risk. They hadn't closed the pool, the gate was still unlocked, and the staff didn't really seem very concerned about it. Our kids were really disappointed that they couldn't swim. We won't be staying here ever again.

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but there is plenty of parking, and the rooms are very nice. I slept like a log. The breakfast was nothing fancy. They had eggs, sausage, boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, regular yogurt, dainishes, coffee, juice, waffles, cereal, and fruit. I'd come back if necessary, but you might be better getting a Holiday Inn Express a little further down the road if you're worried about the neighborhood.

Beds and pillows are so comfortable. Room was very large and clean. Breakfast was good!

This hotel was pretty cool to stay at. The staff were very nice, helpful, understanding and helping resolve your needs too. The Wi-Fi was ok, breakfast was ok and the rooms were really cleaned too. I was coming here to Houston visiting from Austin with a friend of mine for three nights for spring break. Traffic around this hotel was a bit crazy, but it didn’t bother me too much as my first time driving in Houston. The hotel was pretty slow around on Spring break 2017, but I would maybe stay at this hotel again if I were to visit Houston again.

Rooms were clean but the manager was very rude. Our keys deactivated and they refused to look up our reservation until another manager was called, and then she left and started walking to room without gesturing or telling us to follow her. Very unprofessional.

Clean room with friendly night staff. Stayed here one night before leaving Houston. Was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was for the price. They seemed to do a lot of cash-based, walk-in business. Free breakfast was a plus. I'd stay again if in need of a hotel near HOU.

People were nice. Our beds were very uncomfortable. Friendly service.

Overall good. Some issues. The pool needed repair which did not bother me. What bothered me was the broken Lounger Chair that had jagged metal poking up. Lucky my 6 yr old autistic daughter didn't go near it. I told front desk, who said he put in work order for maintenance but it was still there broken in the pool area as we left.

Room was clean, spacious, comfy beds & very nice office staff. They had a Shuttle to airport & off we went. The Smith Girls…

The room was a good size and price but it smelt like smoke. I appreciate that they are still helping hurricane victims.

Horrible! No shuttle service, when I can called to make the reservation I was told that they did have shuttle. I was already there so I thought I would try to stay. Went to my room and the room above me was full of kids jumping and running. I knew that I would not be able to get any sleep with that racket. My daughter reminded me that I could not drive in the morning because of lingering effects of my sleep meds. I left and will NEVER return. Shady dealings.

Great staff, and Tammy was helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and breakfast had a nice variety.

This hotel would have been great but I saw crawlers. Not to say they were everywhere but I did see one. I have stayed at a lot of comfort suites with no complaints. Just this one this day was not good.

Our room was very nice and very clean. The front desk staff was some of the most friendly I've ever encountered. Complimentary breakfast is always a nice touch. If your looking for a cheap room in Houston you can't go wrong. Excellent value for a NICE room!

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was satisfactory. Just minor complaints, there was a touch of mold on the curtain and the air circulation in the room was poor. Still an overall excellent experience for the price.

Everything was clean. Food was hot and they had waffles! My wife enjoyed the espresso and for me the coffee was good. We didn't check out the pool so no comment on that. Bed had a dip in the middle so didn't sleep at 100%. Overall a rather great experience.

If I could put no stars, I would. This company is so unforgiving and the lack of customer service will never make me ever consider this hotel again. I had a last minute emergency and needed to cancel a reservation. Might I add that I never even received confirmation emails for my reservations in the first place (after calling multiple times to receive them). I called the front desk as soon as I could and requested to cancel my reservation. The front desk told me I was past the cancellation deadline (by 20 minutes I might add) and they then charged me my FULL room charge PLUS an additional 15 dollars. The worst part is they told me if I wanted to consider having these charges removed, I needed to talk to the GM. They said the GM would call me the next morning — OF COURSE that never happened. I called in the morning, the GM was not in and wouldn't be in until noon… Called back at noon… GM won't be in until 1pm they said… Called back at 1:30pm… GM couldn't talk to me because he was helping other people… Called back at 3:30 and he had LEFT FOR THE DAY! Ended up calling their customer relations team who was absolutely no help at all either. This has been a horrible experience and no one will listen to what I say and the one person who can help, doesn't seem to care at all. Would not recommend if you care at all about customer service.

My Family and I enjoyed our overnight stay here. Very relaxing and comfortable environment. The young man that check us in was Awesome. I believe his name was Miguel. Great service! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

I was flying out of Hobby airport the next day and had a long drive to get to Houston. The late night desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. My room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was only so-so, though. I'll be staying there from now on whenever I travel through Houston.

On the outside, this appears to be like any other budget hotel. Wasn't expecting too much, but the previous reviews at least labeled it as clean. Upon entering our room however, this was certainly not the case. There were semen stains on a few surfaces in the room, and the ottoman was absolutely covered. At one point my friend indicated to a splotch on the ceiling, which, after we saw it moving and inspected closer, turned out to be a roach. We were on the 3rd floor, so if there are roaches that far up the building is almost assuredly infested. On top of this, the Wi-Fi is absolutely laughable, free? Yes. Wifi? No. Instead you'll spend the entire stay getting kicked off and on every 30 seconds, making any kind of work impossible. If you're looking for a relaxing stay, look elsewhere.

Great hotel. Shuttle to airport is convenient. Furniture was dated but the rooms are clean and very serviceable. Front desk staff took great care of me.

Very nice clean room, and also quiet. Nice breakfast every morning. Also had very nice staff. The kids loved the warm swimming pool.

We checked in last night and they had a partial power outage. No AC, no refrigeration, and no TV! Their pool is outside where it's currently 90+ degrees! All we received were sorries! Nothing about a discount! The food that we brought with us is currently rotting in the hot fridge waiting for the outage to be repaired! It's currently 3:20pm and still nothing! Houston is HOT and we are baking in our expensive hotel room! Never staying with them again!

Our visit came because of an emergency stay because of the floods on April 19, 2016 and could not fly out. The hotel needs to be clean but the staff was amazing. The Manger Miguel was a great help in assuring we made it to the airport on time because there were no taxi available at 4 a. M. It was ok because of the emergency situation. The hotel could have used a spruce and cleaned but the staff was great. The lady at check in was alone but handle all the calls and the front desk very professional.

Lobby and elevator could use some renovation, but the room was very clean and comfortable and I would recommend this hotel for anyone with an early flight out of Houston Hobby. Breakfast was good, coffee was better than expected.

If you book at this place. You make a big mistake. Time stops there 20 years ago. No free breakfast, no Wi-Fi, pretty nasty, no personal, just one person in front desk for the all property. Beside is no non smoker rooms.

Had a layover so just walked in to see if they had a room and they had one left which they reduced the price of for me. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, the room is huge, and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. Thank you!

I stay here once a week even though it's near the airport, this is by far my favorite hotel in houston. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and it's recently been remodeled.

It was clean and inviting. Beds were really firm though. I'm more of a soft setting type.

This may not be a 5 star hotel but it's beautifully remodeled amd the staff is superb! Tammy is wonderful and made me feel welcome, safe and well taken care of in a strange city! Slept like a baby! Breakfast is great! If ever I'm back in Houston I'll be back!

Comfort suites was exactly what I was looking for, inexpensive night stay.

I loved this place! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious!

Awesome front desk they got me into my room way before check in time room was cool amd clean roomy all that I'd recommend it to anyone traveling thru.

Greeted by Jessica, she was very friendly and helpful. Area looks a little scary, but it's just an older area it seems. Room was clean, looked real nice and everything worked as it should. TV stations are limited. And definitely not HD. We booked for one night, but decided to add another night since it was so comfy here. I would stay here again.

Best reasonably priced hotel I've found in Houston. Good people, clean comfortable, next to Hobby. Not perfect but four stars at the price. I will stay here again.

OMG! The beds were awesome, so comfortable that I didn't want to leave the room for what we went to Houston for. Loved the ample space they even had a little place for a couch, never felt crowded like Motel 6, it was very clean, breakfast was good when it was omelet day, didn't really like scrambled egg day, waffles were great one day cinnamon the other day strawberry, but you got to get there early before it gets packed and the eggs run out. The only issue I had was the elevator kept breaking down, the elevator itself looked like it needs to be remodeled. My favorite every time I go to a hotel is the jacuzzi which unfortunately doesn't work and looked murky. They had a small computer room in the lobby and a cardio gym which I didn't try because I was on a diet for two weeks for the trip, was there to let go but would try it next time, and we got there when they were remodeling the place but still had a great stay. Parking is small and awkward but pretty good overall. Front desk was always cheerful especially Tammy. Recommend this place to every one.

Very clean and accommodating. The Lady at the front desk (Tammy) was more than helpful. Would recommend staying here to anyone and will definitely be back if I'm ever in the Houston area.

This is a really nice hotel. They accepted our military discount and we stayed a week. We got the city pass and it was very close to all the attractions. The Hotel beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was good enough. I think the cable channels could have been better but the rooms were nice and very quiet. A number of restaurants were a short 10 min drive away. We were such in a vicinity of so many things we ended up doing extra stuff that were not on the trip plan. My husband, my 6-year-old son, and I stayed in a room with a king size bed and a pull out sofa bed. The space was easy to deal with for the week and never felt crowded or crammed. There was a coffee table, foot bench, computer desk/chair, dresser, sofa, two night stands, king size bed and a kitchenette area with fridge, sink and microwave, it was a good layout and very functional. There is also a snack room next to the check in desk with ice cream, chips, candy bars, fast meals etc. But it is a personal choice if you don’t mind spending $3.00 for snack. There is also an internet area with two computers and printers. Which brings to mind the internet service was a little slow, I and my husband both bought our laptops, and we both agreed that the internet and cable could have been a little better but it’s not that big of a deal, the hotel was still good and I would stay again.
