The first room we got had a terrible smell to it and the beds we're flipped over the room wasn't ready at all. We complained to the front desk about it and they gave us a different room. It was… Slightly better… We woke up in the morning to cockroaches on the wall, the bathtub was so cheap that you could barely stand on it, you had to slam our hotel door super hard for it to close, an AC that wouldn't cool and realized there was mold on the curtains. The only good thing I have to say about the place was at least the people at the front desk we're friendly.

This is a nice, modest hotel! I have stayed here several times on beach vacations. The breakfast is simple yet nice! The rooms are very clean and they offer no smoking rooms. The bathroom is small but well cleaned. The shower water pressure was a bit low and could use a bit of updating. The bed was also clean and comfortable. I think this hotel is great for budget travelers, too. I will continue coming back and will recommend to anybody looking for a budget hotel.

We didn’t want to bring any of the other “guests” home with us. We went down the street to another hotel. La Quinta, you need to close this one down. It’s a health hazard. Ssdgm.

I’ve got low standards, but this place was too gnarly. Our room was crawling with roaches. My wife freaked so we asked for another room, but it was the same thing. Bugs, leftover trash, stains… we bailed. I should have read the reviews first. Definately a stain on the La Quinta name.

Absolutely the worst La Quinta we have ever stayed at. Rooms are not cleaned properly. Stains on walls and on carpets. Air conditioner did not work properly. Shady characters walking around all hours of the night. The worst problem they have are ROACHES! This place gives all La quinta's a bad name. So dissapointed. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Roaches, roaches and more roaches. Unbelievable! I wish I had read the reviews before staying here. The carpet floors are dirty. The bathroom floor was clean in the center around the toilet, but there was what looked like bread crumbs from chicken in the corner. The refrigerator has food crumbs in the top handle portion. Lots of shady people coming and going on foot from a room on the far north west side of the complex. The only thing I will rate good is the staff. When our door lock stopped working, they were able to bring their programmer and reprogram the door fairly quickly. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel!

The receptionist was really nice. But, the room itself had dirty sheets, moldy fridge, cakey air filters in the ac unit, floors were dirty, and there was hair from previous occupants on the pillows and sheets, just over all not clean. Only plus was the receptionist and location.

Our hotel rooms stank of cigarettes and mildew. The breakfast was sparse. The bathrooms were TINY, and if you are taller than 5'10", I'm not sure how you would get in the shower. We had two rooms, one for kids, one for parents, which were more than ten rooms separate from each other. Made for difficult sleeping arrangements. At least the beds were clean. That's really all I can say that was positive.

The GM of this location needs to be fired after the way I was spoken to today as a paying customer after reporting getting head lice from staying there a week ago and also commented about the roach problem and was told I needed to lose my attitude and have a nice day with the door to her office wide open with customers standing at the front desk. Let me know how that works out for you gf I hope they pull the surveillance tapes and have audio. Corporate is aware.

Paid by the week 3 weeks in and was locked out of my room with my grandson. I asked after u paid was I good til Friday lady said yes you are. Then this happens so disgusted with management. Never again.

My family is staying here for the weekend, with our kids and 2 fur babies. I was skeptical about staying here for all the bad reviews I read. But our room was very clean, and the lady at the desk was super nice. There was no issue at all with my fur babies being here and got a warm welcome just like the rest of us. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and we all sleep well. The atmosphere is very quite, honestly couldnt tell anyone else was here. Breakfast was small but had great variety. Fresh fruit, yogurt, differnt breads, eggs and waffle. The dining area was very clean. Definitely will be staying here again.

Do not stay here. They need to destroy this place. Infested with rats, nasty as neck. I would not want a homeless person to stay there. First room I went to was not clean, bed was not even made and dirty towels every where. Carpet stained. Second room had rat traps in it. I left and went to another hotel. Do not stay at this location!

We will not stay here again. Our 1st room was trashed, front desk said the room was marked available. 2nd room was better not great the room needs a complete scrub down, (not sure the last time they wiped down doors) our door didn't close properly, someone with a little more power than me could easily break in. Needed light bulbs, closet door need to be fixed, not sure the last time they cleaned under the bed & really vacuumed, the tub felt like a water bed.

I've seen a few roaches, there is water damage on the ceiling, and mold in the shower. I'm only here for a week and the company booked this, otherwise I would be finding other accommodations. With those things said I have been told this was a decent hotel even just a few years ago. They are going through some renovations (some of the water and mold could be from Harvey? ) so maybe they are trying to fix it up. I have have a lot of complaints from my night crew staying here as the renovations are very noisy.

I've stayed here the last couple springbreaks. However, this is my last time. It just got worse and worse. Even last year, the room wasn't very clean. But this year, it's unacceptable. The carpet smells like there are fecal bacterias living in it. A pillow has big stain, bed sheet has stain, everything is old, paint flaking off ceiling, bathroom was dirty, toilet stained brown (very nasty), bathtub stained brown (nasty), bathtub felt mushy (they put on a bathtub liner). I mean the whole bathroom was incredibly nasty. If you were to put on a bathtub liner, it should be done correctly. You should not feel any different standing on it. I think they have their maintenance person put it on to save cost. We booked there for 3 nights. The bad part is I told my friends to booked there with us. So, we booked 3 rooms total. I got an earful, I deserved it though, lol. We stayed there for 2 nights, which we should've left once checked in. But, it was springbreak, most places were sold out. The only good thing is they didn't have a problem returning our 3rd night. The room was very nasty, we were afraid to touch anything. Now, I'm back home and I have to disinfect and wash everything. I just hope I didn't bring any bacteria or bed bugs home. Most La Quinta's are nice but this one is horrendous. Room 149 is THE WORST.

Visiting from out of town and this is the Worst hotel EVER! First we had a RESERVATION and then when we get there they tell us they've been trying to call us because there was no more room even though we already made a reservation. So they offered us (for half off) a room that some lady supposedly left and didnt use anything and when we checked there were dirty towels, looked like someone was sleeping on the bed, and the shower had a whole bunch of hair in it. We didn't want it so they told us they had another room but certain things didn't work in it like certain lights and the hot water didn't get hot. We ended up getting it with a huge discount because we had no where else to go. Also, I left my shoes there and they told me they were locked up in the lost and found and that I wasnt able to retrieve them until the next day which would have been OK if I LIVED in the damn area! What kind of lost and found is that?

Stayed the one night, great customer service. The room was nice and didn't smell. Staying again tonight and tomorrow night.

Most La Quintas I have stayed at are great but this one was a let down. There is still a roach problem and cleanliness is also an issue. Staff was nice and helpful but I had to get a different hotel.

I stayed 1 night, 8/23/17, last minute for work. All I needed was somewhere to rest my head for 4 hours but I should have slept in my truck. I could go on and on about general cleanliness for a few paragraphs, but the only thing that really matters: BED BUGS! I can deal with a run down place, but to come back with the potential to contaminate my own home is absolutely inexcusable. I have bites all over both arms and my neck. Now I have to worry, about spreading them too. Hotels in the area are generally overpriced due to all the plant work, and this is a cheap option. But I will steer clear of this location in the future.

An asco d hotel, dirty, the door broken, the sink cn hairs, and the shower also, nolo I recommend. In a very bad state.

I made a reservation here last minute because the hotel I was in previous was disgusting, however, this hotel turned out to be even worse than the previous one I was staying in. After reading other Google reviews, I see I am not the only one who had an issue with cockroaches and filth. The room was a nonsmoking room and reeked of smoke. There was so much dust… There were only a handful of TV channels and the AC would not cool the room. None of the electrical outlets would hold a phone charger in the sockets. I see the GM responded to another review about a month ago saying he would utilize the review as an opportunity for training the staff. This obviously didn't happen. I will not recommend anyone to stay here. BBB will be notified.

Roaches in rooms, phone non working in the room I stayed at. Bad breakfast too. Demanded a refund and manager never called to apologize.

I'm here now I come here often when my home is being repaired. I really like it here, but the past 2 times I've came this month, there has been roaches. I'm very disgusted and disappointed. Please fumigate and do a little better w the smell. I would really like to come back because it's very convenient for me.

The rooms are cheap but I can see why. The room I received had flashing lights inside the restroom because the lightbulb was worn out. I let the front desk know but doubt if they did anything.

Booked in March for October dates. When we checked in they didn't have the room we reserved. We had to take a different room. Smelled like sour mildew. Roaches in the room. Mildew growing on the ceiling n the bathroom. Phone didn't work TV didn't work. Very old hotel and not remodeled in a long time. The only good thing is the sheets and blankets we're new and seemed. To be clean. Pool was clean.

Staff was very friendly and made it very easy for me to make some changes to my reservation. This place has been around since before I was born and it's one of those gems at least to me. May not be fancy or pretty but the staff makes it a great place to stay.

This La Quinta was one the filthiest hotels we've ever stayed at. We saw a cockroach on the bed as soon as we came in. It was gross. The room had so much dust and it smelled bad. The bedsheets and pillow cases had other people's hair. It was so late we were tired and we had already paid online and we didn't feel like going somewhere else, if not we would of in a heartbeat. I didn't sleep comfortably thinking something would be crawling on me while I sleep. Thankfully we just rested about 3 hours because we had to get up early. We've stayed at other La Quinta's and we've never had a bad experience with them until now. I would upload the pictures but they are not the nicest images.

I'm really disappointed. Because I expect a better place, I booking online for a suite and when I arrived with my family the guy if the from desk told me that the room he had to gave to somebody because they have and emergency then he relocate me in a two bed room of the smoking area, the room was really bad some roach, and fly inside, the TV never turn on the coaxial cable of the TV was unplug, the tube in the bathroom with a lot of mark of cigarette. I don't recommend this hotel.

Just a place to rest your head. Would not recommend for extended stay. Roaches in my room and bathroom. Carpet stained and dirty. The complimentary breakfast is a joke. Was at beach all day and just didn't want to make a long drive back home and thought this would be some what decent for price. Spend that little extra and get a nicer hotel, you'll be thankful.

Check in was fast. My son had an earache so we were trying to get him to room asap. The keys didn't work. Man had to bring a computer from office to get door working. Took 5 minutes to get warm water from bathtub faucet. Beside tub I killed a baby German cockroach. Ceiling above is rotten looking. Left a half drank soda beside my bed and it's attractive to the German cockroach population. I just killed a full grown one. Sleepless in this room tonight!

A randpm transaction was made they told me it would be refunded in 5-7 business days it was then immediately got withdrawn again. I've asked them repeatedly and they said they made it up in my weekly rate didn't explain anything further. Then my dog got out last Wednesday evening they told me the pound got him and he was at the clute animal shelter well I looked at every animal shelter in the areas and no one picked up my Rottweiler so I went to talk to the GM she was down right unprofessional and told me when the pound got to the hotel Rocky was nowhere to be found but she managed to tell me that my dog was following me… obviously if someone got him he wasn't following me! They have A lot of shady things going on in this hotel this hotel needs to be investigated and shut down really bad! Worst place ever! Horrible employees and unprofessional and extremely rude GM! If who ever owns this want their income to improve well they need to get better staff before they ruin this business which they seem they already have!

It didn't take long for us to meet our roommates which consisted of roaches, flies and dirty linens to include what seemed to be shaved hair on one of the beds and a dirty rag with shaved hair left in the bathroom. I could not sleep a wink as the flies and roaches just kept coming. At the break of day we hurriedly checked out and informed front desk who passed it on to the manager, who eventually contacted us and apologized. We have stayed at several La Quinta Inn properties before and this was our worst experience every! We weren't the only ones with a filthy room as another guess came up to us expressing the same sentiments, of how filthy their room was. I would not recommend this property to anyone!

Terrible place to stay. It is very ran down and a lot of things are broken or rusted. When we got there our room smelt terrible. The shades had holes and stains on them. The carpet was not clean. The shower was ugly and rusted. I felt sorry for my family because we don't live like that. That's what I get for trying to be a tight wad. I look for this place to be shut down. Who in the world lets animals stay in a hotel. Never should of stayed here. Whoever tells you this place is good on here you better be aware.

This was literally the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. We came from Ohio to help the flood victims in Brazoria County and this was the only option at the time. The entire staff is a complete joke. When we first got here, no one was at the front desk for 20 minutes for no reason. Throughout the week, the staff had not one ounce of professionalism. They were walking the halls smoking, sitting in the lobby on their phones during peak check-in hours and during breakfast. The room was absolutely filthy. The only positive at all was that we immediately checked the room for bedbugs and couldn't find any. Literally, the only positive. The rest of the room was disgusting: Skoal can under the bed, dirt under the mattresses, gnats all over the bathtub and bathroom floor, sink was disconnected from the countertop and mold was showing, spiders living around the ceiling, the list goes on. On the outside of the hotel: trash everywhere, all pop machines empty, ice machine BLACK, washer and dryer broken, dirty pool, and I could keep going. They only cleaned our room twice and that was laughable. The only thing they did was make the beds and take our towels. They didn't even leave us any towels the second time they cleaned. The moral of the story is this: if you want to stay in a hotel that could be the setting for a bad horror movie, this is the hotel for you. Actually, that's probably too nice of a compliment. Worst hotel of all time! run away as fast as you can!

Flies in room, TV's on entire property out of service, a\c barely working. My husband tried to close curtains and they fell off wall. Mildew in grout in shower. Old, worn out… can't believe laquinta puts their name on this one. Full of refinery workers. Got a full refund and drove 4 hrs back home.

Place was a RoachHole! Lobby was the best looking part of this place. Opening up my door I noticed Scuff marks from the bottom of a boot or shoe where someone tried kicking the door in. Walking into my room I noticed the extremely old carpet, with what looked like blood stains from a body being drug out the room. The Area behind the bed and under the A/C looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over 10 years. And the A/C barely worked. The desk chair looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years… covered in stains… very nasty. When I woke up from my alarm going off and reached to turn it off, there was a roach crawling on the alarm clock. As I walked into the bathroom to take a shower, there was a roach crawling on the floor. Then I also noticed all the exterior fire extinguishers were behind breakaway glass… with a chain dangling from them with no hammer attached to break the glass. A SERIOUS fire code violation. Finally on my 3rd night I woke up and noticed I was late for work. The front desk forgot my wakeup call. I checked out and went to a better hotel. This hotel is one big pile of S***! Do not stay here! Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and that's saying something.

Hotel was definitely older. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, quick check in and out. Room was ready early. Beds were decently comfortable. Had family staying and their rooms seemed a little more updated than ours. If they updated the whole hotel it would be a very nice place to stay. Was close to everything. And definitely worth it for the price.

So we made a reservation a month in advance for the two rooms we booked to be close to eachother. Down the hall would've been fine, but the rooms were literally on opposite sides of the hotel. The receptionist Brittany proceeded to tell us that we never made a request and asked who we'd talked to, which was her! The phones in the rooms didn't work, the ac unit didn't put out any air, there were still bottles in the fridge from the previous renter, and there were dirty handprints on the bathroom door.

Not too impressive to look at and the overall aesthetic is on the low end. But the staff is nice and the location is great.

Do not stay here! I travel all over the US for work and this is one of the oldest run down places I have ever stayed at. We spent the first hour cleaning all the crap and spilled liquids from the furniture and fixtures. The bed is totally work out and you lay in a hole. Do not stay here. PS, staff is friendly but that's all they have going for it.

Clean, cheap hotel. Staff was very helpful. Not brand new, and not the holiday inn :) but worth the money. Very comfy beds.

The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby and I've been staying here voting on three weeks and I'm here to tell you, they have seriously only cleaned my room two times. This is freaking ridiculous!

Nothing, it was gross. I found a bug… There was mold around the toilet, and shower. The carpet was coming up and the floor was exposed. It was very loud, all hours of the night. Too many shady people outside in the parki and lot and balcony drink and smoking who knows what. Staying here was a bad idea… Never again!

What at Dump! Bed was wet from dog pee. Had to relocate to another dumpy room. I'll never be back.

We send our employees to this hotel when in the area. The staff is always very helpful and makes it very easy for me to make a reservation.

Friendly staff. Room was good sized (we stayed in room 209). Weekly rate was $416. Pet friendly hotel. Wifi always seemed to not work the whole month we were there, but that was the only issue we had. They'd fix it then it's stop working again. Our room was clean. Closet space was nice.

I'm staying here right now. Super clean, everything is new. Bed is huge. Housekeeping daily. Good location. It's weekly rate is $416, and it's worth every penny. Good deal.

Roaches! Small beds! Plug ins do not work, ice machine broken, hair in bathtub. Worst part was the roaches.

The people that "work" at the desk, not the manager Holly, are rude and inconsiderate of customers. The 2 males and 1 female were worthless in their caring or customer satisfaction. Apparently, they none take the directives of the manager, Holly. On May 30, 2014, the male employees could not comprehend the customer's situation, so they called in the manager, Holly, to leave her house and come to the motel to solve the problem. In front of the customer, Holly told the 2 male employees to reserve a room for 7:00 PM for the customer for the next night. When the customer showed up at 7:00 PM the next night (May 31) after working a 12 hour shift, there was no reservation. Both males attempted to blame the manager for not making the reservation, but the customer distinctly heard the manager tell them to make the reservation. Then, instead of taking care of their mistake, they totally ignored the customer and left him standing there. When the motel was called to file a complaint with the manager, the female that answered the phone said the manager was not there. When the female employee was asked who was in charge, she said no one was in charge, which already sounds odd. Therefore, the caller told the female the complaint. The female was extremely rude and obnoxious. She kept attempting to talk when the complaint was being explained. She had to be told that if she would quit interrupting and attempting to talk over the caller, the caller would not have to speak loudly.

Visited this place on 10/14/2013 didn't get to stay, because the nitwit at counter said my cards weren't going through. Got home only to find that all my cards had been billed the room amount, what a moron. I will be pursuing charges if these fraudulent charges aren't removed pronto.

I agree with the lady below me. My family is from Baytown my husband works right down the street from the hotels. This hotel looks absolutly nothing like the pictures. We also woke up with bites on out bodies and my two year old was so bad we tool him to the er. It turns out that he is allergic to bed bugs. Which is not the hotels fault that he is allergis but it is their fault they have bed bugs. That's gross. We will never stay there again at any of the la quintas.
