The rooms are great, we had a suite with a king size bed and a separate room with a couch and full kitchen. However, the beds are extremely uncomfortable and we woke up with back pain every day. Being used to great matresess and bedding at Marriott hotels in NY and throughout the Northeast and Southeast, I was quite disappointed. We did like though that they had everything we needed in the room and grills outside for a nice barbeque when we didn't want to go out or cook. Another plus is that they're pet friendly. Another thing we didn't like is the location. The hotel is surrounded by large chemical and/or petroleum plants. It's hideous outside and if you're looking for fresh air, I doubt you're going to get that there.

Very clean, nice rooms, nice pool and grill area. Nice kitchen in rooms fully furnished. Little snack store area in lobby. Breakfast was okay… eggs, ham, sausage, waffles, cereal, bagel's ect… The ham and sausage could have been fresher but we got to breakfast about 8:45… I would definitely stay again.

Completely fine place to stay. Has all the amenities that you would expect from a nice hotel. You can tell it's a little bit old, and that it was built at different times.

Staff was exceptionally friendly acknowledged my Platinum Status and the new part of the hotel is nice rooms are roomy as usual love my stay.

Ok, not great. Lacks custome service in the office. Housekeeping women are wonderful however.

My daughter and I were there for a wedding and staying there was so comfortable and convenient the rooms were very nice and all the staff were very helpful from the office clerk to the maintenance and also the ladies in the breakfast room! I can’t forget the ladies that clean our rooms they made us feel welcome thanks especially to the great staff in this hotel! We will come again!

Visited friends staying at the hotel. We grilled by the pool and had a great time. Rooms are modern, clean, and roomy. Definitely recommend this place.

We loved our stay here. We were put in one of the updated rooms and that was probably the well designed rooms if I've ever seen. Absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was good. Nice friendly staff. Would definitely come back.

Stayed 5 nights was charged over the price I was quoted… I paid it… $915.98 (checked out 9/2/2017) this morning I checked my checking account. And I notice another charge from the same hotel the very next day 9/3/2017 for $766.98! Trying to get it reversed! I don't understand the "computer glitch". Be careful of your charges! I'm not happy about being potential scammed!

I like the separate bedrooms here, and the kitchenette. Bed wasn't all that comfortable. Extra sheet set for sofa bed looked like it wasn't clean, had to go get a clean set from the front desk. Nice amenities. Kids have food allergies, but the staff wasn't able to figure out ingredients in some items (waffle mix, for example). Not a bad place to stay overall if you get a good rate.

Room is nice, clean, and spacious. It's like having a small nice apartment: table to eat at, refrigerator, and lounge area. Home away from home. Breakfast is great! They have great eggs and the right stuff to make a great breakfast sandwich along with waffles and yogurt etc. Overall great place.

I had a great stay! This place is everything I've come to expect from Marriott hotels: clean, plenty of amenities, and in a close location to everything I need. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm visiting the Lake Jackson area.

Nice hotel, room seemed fairly new and I liked the layout. Our room was 80° when we arrived at 3pm and the air conditioner took until the middle of the night to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Front desk staff was not at all friendly or welcoming but the room itself was nice. Breakfast was your standard Marriott breakfast, nothing special but good. We did not use the pool but we did visit the beach only 20 minutes away. Would stay here again if we need a room in this area.

They just added/remodeled the rooms and they are great! Freshly updated and stylish with a great kitchen area and workspace. Visited for working purposes and the desk area is nicely laid out and spacious. They even have USB outlets in the wall lamps to charge portable devices. No tub, at least I my room, but a HUGE, clean walk in shower. The king size bed is firm, which I prefer. If I had to pick one thing negative about the room is its a bit small, but overall very impressed and pleased.

Townplace Suites is the "caviar" of hotels! I visited Freeport, with my parents, to attend my cousin's birthday party! We knew we wouldn't feel like making the drive home afterward; so, we booked two suites at Townplace Suites! When we entered the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff! The air inside was fresh and clean! We were checked in promptly and provided with key cards and directions to our suites! The suites were clean, spacious and well-stocked with everythin…g you could ask for! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! The next morning, we enjoyed a complimentary hot breakfast, complete with waffles, fruit, eggs and sausage patties! My parents and I were more than glad we decided to stay over and we were even more glad that we chose to stay at Townplace Suites! It was like a mini-vacation! We highly recommend that you visit this hotel! You won't regret it!

We stayed two nights with 4 grandkids and the staff were really nice and helpful. The manager here is Awesome! Thanks for everything we will be back. The only downfall was we rented this place for the pool and it was closed due to them working on concrete!

They had room. It was clean. I wish hotels were still $40 a night.

Booked this place for 2 weeks and left next morning would not recommend this hotel found roaches in restroom and on countertop of kitchenette housekeeping and manager did not seem surprised.

We had a problem with our bill and they took care of it extremely fast! Good staff and accommodations in Lake Jackson, Texas.

The manager is horrible. He watches to see if people or their kids gets seconds for breakfast. He calls kids fat, and pigs if they do.
