The rooms were awesome I would come back.

No shampoo. Hole in the plastic bowl that was for ice. Dishes washed from last guest but not put away. Food in a bowl from last guest in the microwave — ugh. Told manager on duty when we checked out, but he was more interested in talking on the phone than listening to our concerns.

Overall was a good experience. Just a couple things. The room smelled strongly of mildew. Not sure if it’s the AC or the room itself but it was off putting. Secondly, I really liked that the floors were hardwood and tile. I did not like that even though they appeared to have been mopped they were quite sticky with some kind of residue. The bathroom was clean. I liked that the shower walls were one solid piece of what appeared to be granite with minimal seams, in lieu of a bunch of tiles and grout. Definitely seemed much more sanitary.

The front desk clerk was awesome… check in was easy… 2 keys from the start (just in case one didn't work like the norm) room was very clean & well furnished! A/C was great! No clicking on & off! (To keep waking you up! ) And to top it off I slept through my alarm so I slept thru checkout time & it was not an issue! A BIG THANK YOU for all staff!

The location from the University was perfect, and there is a gas station/convenience store within walking distance. Don't let the outside of the hotel deter you, because it just looks like a motel. However, the rooms are renovated and updated beautifully. It has a large screen tv, very nice. It was very comfortable, very clean. Staff is professional, very nice. My only complaint is that you can hear people walking in the rooms upstairs, because the floors are hardwood.

Room is large and has wooden floors, seems as though it may be possibly a new location. Room appears to be clean but, there are fingerprints everywhere and the bed looks nice but the restroom and the mirrors and countertops need a good cleaning Kitchen has coffee maker, refrigerator, 2 burner range flat top and microwave. Just bring in some sanitizer. Bed was comfortable and location is good off of I45 and exit 115. I would stay here again…

It would have been nice to have had shampoo and a second coffee cup, but aside from that this place was very nice for the price. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet so I could sleep.

A real night mare. We had booked three rooms. One wasn't even cleaned when we arrived. Not enough towels and one room never was cleaned for the entire stay. Called service desk many times for towels and were told to come get them. No pool as it was being checked. But we found out that wasn't true. The housekeepers couldn't speak English. Spider webs on the walls than had been there. Raw wooden floors that were dirty. And stove didn't work. The manager always had an excuse for not being able to send towels sheets. Things that were needed to be clean. Horrible stay. If it was for my grand daughter graduating from Sam Houston. We would have left. The only good hing I have to say the building was close to the University. A real dump.

Location was perfect close to the training I needed to complete. Overall the room was nice and clean. I loved not having carpet. Since I always travel with my dog. Being able to smoke in my hotel room was one of my deciding factors. I am so glad I did not have to stand outside to smoke especially at night. Ground floor room another bonus! Towels were a little rough. Not much power in the shower. I could only make one cup of coffee a few more would have been nice; since I stayed 3 days. Other than that would stay again.

Good option for the price. Beds were not very comfy but facility was brand new and very clean, and very accommodating. Room did not have a hair dryer but front office brought one to me.

I decided not to take and post photos because I was truly disgusted with myself for having chosen this place to stay for a week long training. The room was large and accommodating (kitchenette) outside of that not much else was good. Shortly after entering my room I was on my way to Walmart for cleaning supplies including a Swiffer wet mop and bug spray because there were 2 left over used face towels still hanging over the shower rod… the tub had a dirty ring around it… the floors appeared dirty… the toilet needed further cleaning… and there was a live bug of sorts crawling on the floor. Nope NEVER complained just cleaned it to my standards. Then after all of that, the mattress was way too firm and the other guests were loud. Needless to say, I'll never stay here again.

There were no safety bars in the shower (nothing to hold onto), there were utensils and plates, but nothing to clean them with. Coffeemaker did not operate properly. There was one regular and one decaf coffee for two people. The ice maker was bone dry. This facility was below my expectations. I did not realize it was an extended stay facility when I booked it.

Friendly staff, but the beds are thin and cleanliness needs improvement. My room had old food rotting in the microwave, the whole room reeked of it. The television had no cable box, so it was just a brick on the wall.

Cheap hotel just off interstate 45 in Huntsville. The rooms have been recently updated, when I visited the pool was closed and looked pretty sad. They do not offer breakfast but there are plenty of options nearby. You can head north to the cross street through the parking lot of the gas station instead of going south and turning around. Tap to pay is accepted here.

I do not recommend that anyone stay here. Housekeeping help thereselves to your peronal belongings lie about it and tell you that the manager can't be reached because of his own personal issues and they won't even attempt to reach him and won't replace the items. Not even a I'm sorry.

We came to Huntsville from Austin to drive through the Sam Houston National Forest. We decided to spend the night and needed a cheap hotel. Motel 6 allows dogs, so we booked a room here after reading the rooms had been renovated. We were able to score a lower nonsmoking end unit, which was perfect because there was a little grassy patch next to it. The outside looks a little ran down but the towels and sheets were clean, toilet and shower were clean, and it was quiet. They stock the rooms with utensils and cooking ware… which you rarely see. There is even a small stove! We couldn’t be happier for spending a total of $62 after taxes. The check in / check out process was very easy. We will definitely be staying here next time we’re in town!

Great place to stay for work… good weekly rates & they are remodeling the rooms;) and with kitchenettes you can't go wrong!

Location and rooms are nice it's under construction so the lights go out here and there.

Super great, kind staff. They are extraordinary! Alex at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had a quality stay. I will definitely return to this hotel and certainly reccomend. The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean. Even on Friday and Saturday nights! Can't beat that in a college town.

My family and I were passing thru and was concerned about the place since we had never stayed at one. It was great. Even though I don't like outdoor entrences. This one did not make me feel uncomfortable. It had great outdoor lighting and our room was super clean and fresh smelling. I will definitely stay again.

This place has been renovated and it's all modern now. The problem is I liked the old dump better. It has gone from $50 a night to $90, and it's not worth it. They had a lot of cost overruns, and completely re did the pool. The pool has always been a plus for this place, not many pools around anymore. It's nice, it's Euro, it's too damn expensive for what it is.

Room was recently upgraded with new amenities. It only lacked a hair dryer. Beds were comfortable and electric outlets were plentiful and accessible! Evening clerk for check in was very capable and friendly. Will book again when in the area.

Ever nice hotel but it is under reconstruction at this time. That is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The price is for the room was very good. When not under reconstruction this hotel will be a strong 5 star hotel. Staff is good and friendly. They do let you have pets but there is a $10 fee to have them.

Best hotel 6 I ever stayed in. Rooms are completely remodeled, clean and fresh smelling scent. And friendly staff at a great rate.

Overall it was a good and comfortable room. Although it was a extended stay hotel, I believe you should offer at least a continental breakfast. It would have been nice to have tables with umbrellas around the pool. No ice machine was available or coke machine.

I found the staff to be awesome and friendly, the room was clean, the A/C ran great at 72, The updated decor was very nice and so was all of the accessories for the kitchenette. The TV was large enough and there is a radio as well. The best part really was how quiet it was all night and as much as that may not be every night given who may be next door, I was lucky!

Absolutely terrible I got all my stuff in the room and within 10 minutes of being there I killed at least 5 roaches. There were holes in the wall and the bathroom was disgusting. When I went to get a refund to go else where the guy at the counter argued with me about the condition of the room. I went back the next day and the manager gave me a refund. Never again!

Worst hotel I've stayed in, and I've stayed in some pretty bad hotels. Dirty/moldy bathroom, stains on carpet, paint peeling etc…

Gross gross gross. Never again. The bed is a box, plywood and a matress. I did kill a bedbug on the blanket. Creepy people outside. Do not get this hotel!

You get what you pay for. Are the rooms like walking backwards into the 70's? Yes. The furniture is outdated, the curtains look like a field of wild flowers threw up on them and the wall color is groovy, man, but its all aesthetic. Are they infested with rats, roaches and bed bugs? No. Not in my room. It's tidy and decent. Check in was a breeze. The folks up front are nice and helpful. It's what I would expect for the price I paid and for an overnight trip it's not bad at all.

Dust/bedbugs. They have rats. There was a hole in the wall close to the floor. I put a cap to block it and our last proved us right. The rat ate through the wall next to the cap. I have two kids ages 3 and 4 I brought with me in this infested roach, dust/bed, and rat hotel. By far Americas best anything! Will never stay again! (Coptold my wife and I this place is also known for drugs and prostitution)

My door did not lock from the inside, both the towel rack and the shower curtain rod had been ripped down (leaving holes), and re-hung, with no effort to cover the holes. One of the bedside tables was missing its drawer front, and the air intake register was ripped from the wall and shabbily re-attached. When I told the owners the next morning how bad the room was, the guy actually took both earbuds out and mocked shame by pretending to look down at his feet. I told them they should be ashamed of charging $60 for such an awful room, especially if they cannot offer the peace of mind of a bloody locking door! He actually started to question me about the lock, insinuating that I didn't know how to do it right. No stars. Pay extra and stay ANYWHERE else in Huntsville. I had to mark one star so I could post this, but it's just for show. They don't actually get credit for that forced star.

Boogers on the wall, AC cooled… eventually, NO bugs yet… We will see.

Didn't like anything about it. Didn't even have a fridge, and the previous review by another customer about the dust mites forgot to mention bed bugs also. Never staying there again.

The beds have dust mites! woke up with a whole bunch of bites all over our body when we woke up Never staying there again hope they fix the problem. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Indeed the price is good fora University town. However it is clear the ownership of this motel is putting every last penny in their pockets and reinvesting very little. The exterior of the facility is in disrepair and the parking lot and grounds had quite a bit of trash lying around. The room was clean and had fairly fresh paint though there was a hole in the wall. There was coffee but no coffee maker. They provided one tiny bar of soap and one little packet of shampoo. These people are not frugal, they are cheap and what for some effort and a little money could be a nice motel is a borderline dump.

Will NEVER stay here again. The rooms are terrible, the beds was an old mattress on plywood, and the breakfast was stale cereal.

Horrible. Nasty pool. No filter running at all. Called health dept. Inspector came out and they closed the pool and said a guy was coming to clean it. But a lady that had been staying there for three weeks said the pool was always nasty even after cleaning. I decided to entertain my 7 and 4 year old girls by letting them draw on the sidewalk with chalk. We were reported to the office and told we were not allowed to chalk public sidewalks. This has been a horrible experience and they will not refund the rest of our weeks money so we can move to a different place.

You get what you pay for. Its nothing fancy, something's don't work (such as some lamps) but the overall it was okay. Rooms are poorly decorated. Bed was comfortable though — 1 star deduction for lack of proper cleaning — 1 star deduction for broken lamps and etc. — 1 star deduction for small breakfast selection.

Well for starters the dirty tub with a dead roach in it got me going. To find a bed bug on my pillow upon returning to my room got my blood boiling. The blood stain in the carpet wasn't even the icing on the cake.

I was traveling and I decided to stay here. I am one of those that love an antique touch and this was a great place. Very warm and welcoming, it has that sweet genuine southern charm that I always looked for.
