To first start I booked a handicapped accessible non smoking 1 bed room. I was told there were no 1 beds available in nonsmoking and I would have to take 2 beds or take a smoking room. I took the smoking room because I did not want 2 beds. This choice also affected my asthma. That was strike 1. Strike 2-5. I killed 2 roaches in the room, 1 in the bathroom, 1 that made it into a piece of luggage and 1 that made it on the bed. A total of 5 roaches 5! The cleaners did a HORRIBLE job. There was ketchup all over the AC that had not been clean some brown stain in the bathroom and urine splatters all over the toilet. And finally the heat did not work on the AC unit. I had the highest heat on for both options and was still freezing with the extra blankets I bought from home. We ended up unplugging the unit altogether to get some warmth in the middle of the summer. I didn’t even think that could happen in Texas. All in all I was completely unhappy and uncomfortable with the room. Next trip I’ll just pay a little extra to have at least a decent clean room somewhere else. I’ve used Motel 6 numerous times, never have I been this unsatisfied with a booking.

Excellent stay enjoyed the day crew all lovely personnel. Because of the desk clerk we will come back again. She went over and beyond her call of duty to get our room ready for us. Lovely person sweet and friendly… made us feel at home. Loved it. Thank you.

Motel 6 in Huntsville would be a great place to stay after a long drive and needing some rest. The staff there are amazing, when you walk in to the front desk, having house keeping clean, and the maintenance man there on the property, you are always welcomed with a smile and greeting. They have both non-smoking and smoking rooms. If you ever feel stressed out from your drive they have a pool that’s open from 9 am to 9pm. The staff there are not just there cause it’s there job but because they want your stay at Motel 6 better than your last. The staff is like a family there, and once you come they treat you like you were part of there family. At Motel 6 in Huntsville, it’s not just any other Motel, it’s the motel that puts an amazing impression on you and makes you want to come back.

I never write reviews but this Motel definitely deserves one. I went to visit my niece who is attending SHSU and chose to stay at Motel 6. I was quite pleasantly surprised at how clean the property was and how friendly the staff was. I have two kids and staying in a hotel is not an easy task with them. Thank you to the Manager and staff for making my stay away from home a pleasant one. You will not be disappointed.

My stay was good. The place was clean and everyone was very nice. My only problem is that I know I left my phone charger in the room, however, they claim no one found it. This leads me to believe that someone kept it instead of being honest. That charger was the original charger and is not cheap to replace. So while this is the cheapest hotel in the area I will not be staying here again when I travel to Huntsville.

I have stayed at this hotel for more than 60 nights in the last year and continue to appreciate this Motel 6. This hotel is a good value and in a great location and with an especially good staff.

I came to Huntsville about 10PM for my nieces graduation and looked online for a hotel. I was lucky that you had a couple left! The room was very clean, the hotel staff really friendly and the shower was great. The bed was comfortable but was very noisy when I moved. That was the only little thing I can find negative to say about my stay. I would stay there again.

I reserved a non smoking room and got the opposite. The receptionist told me they ran out. The room was just ridiculously smokey. No febreze or Lysol could get rid of that stench. The a/c was filled with dust. The shower itself had rust and filled with lime. In a nutshell this stay was TERRIBLE. I will never come back!

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is great. The workers were so helpful. I will be coming back.

My stay at this Motel 6 was very pleasant. I've stayed at a few around Texas and I can honestly say that my room here was very clean and I'm very picky because I have a 4 year old daughter so I was very happy to see that the rooms here are well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful to answer my questions. I will definitely come back here if I'm back in the area and I will recommend this Motel 6.

People were fighting upstairs from me and beside my dads room. Didn't get to sleep until about 4am. A horrible experience. People blaring their radios. Drugs being sold 2 room down from my dad. I was in 127 he was in 128. Never again.

Sweet girl at the front desk, nice and personable. Small, simple room, just perfect for a mom's night out. Walking distance to a Schlotsky's is a bonus. Wish there neighbors were less personable, & dang! So much hair in this room, in the bed, towels, and on the floor that is not my own. :\

The location was very good. Restaurants were in walking distance. My room was nice and clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. The clerk was really and answered all my questions. I would stay again on my next visit.

The hospitality is amazing here. Rooms are very clean and I am very picky with the cleanliness because I have a 8 month — old and his skin is very sintive and it was very clean Good prices Inexpensive. I will be telling all of my friends and family about this motel 6. I recommend. This place to anyone.

Horriable. Front desk clerk was awesome but room sucked. No frig in handicapped room. Switched rooms. No shampoo in bathroom, towels were very rough, rooms VERY SMALL. Very disappointed. Will NEVER stay here again.

Check-in was fast and easy. The AC/heating units cover was hanging off of the unit. There were dead bugs on the floor in the room. The toilet constantly ran after flushing. The front desk lady was pleasant and informative about the area. I did not bother bringing the issues up because I just finished a long drive and just wanted to shower and sleep.

I love this place your staff are so welcoming. Never have I had a bad experience. The maid service is so nice and the front staff love hearing my jokester so I believe they do. I will continue to stay at the location in Huntsville Tx they make me feel right at home and they always ave me my room each and every week.

Staff and cleanliness were very good, better than expected. My only complaint is that the first non smoking room had clearly been smoked in. The second room, which we used, had no smell of smoke in the bedroom but a light trace of smoke in the bathroom. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and the accommodations.

Older property, but well maintained. Grassy areas maintained and mowed for the dogs. Little difficult to get to first time, but easy access once the road layout is understood. Nice variety of restaurants and grocery stores nearby (some walking distance. )

Was able to get a room at 3am quickly and the desk clerk was courteous. But, this room is supposed to be non smoking and it wreaks of cigarette smoke. Comes with all the basics. The linens for the beds were a bit thin for this time of year but the mattress was perfect and the pillows were fluffy.

Staff was great. The room was okay. I had to kill a couple cockroaches during my stay which I wasn’t thrilled about. There was a dead cockroach hanging in a big spider web in plain sight throughout my whole stay. A colony of spiders slowly devoured it throughout my stay. I was surprised that the cleaning person wouldn’t be able to see it hanging there. It’s right under the air conditioner in room 117. I was glad I didn’t stay in my room very often and was busy at work.

Front desk was a 10 — great! Room was what I expected for the price, EXCEPT — it was never made up while I was there. No housekeeping, except that my towels were taken one day — I had to go to the front desk at 8:30 at night to finally get replacements. I don't expect concierge service at Motel 6, but I do expect a clean comfortable room. It was comfortable: 50%. Location was very convenient to I-45 and restaurants.

I understand you get what you pay for but the shower looked like a murder had occurred. Not sure if someone spilled paint in there or what but I wasn’t going near it. The toilet ran so I had to jiggle the handle every time I went. Luckily I didn’t have to pull the lid off and do some home plumbing. The bed was crazy uncomfortable. It sagged to the left side. I felt like I was sleeping on a hill. Other than that everything was fine. The employees were great, I was in and out for both check in and out. A couple of minor upkeep things would really go a long way. I’m sure if no one told y’all that the potty probably needs a new float that there’s no way you could know about it. Same with the weird bed thing. The shower thing is on y’all though. A blind man could see that.

My room is clean and so far nothing to complain about at all. The bed is comfortable. Bathroom and eveything else is clean. Food is super close by (walking distance) as of now I'd stay here again.

With as much as I travel for business, I typically stay at 4-5 star hotels. I have to say that I was amazed at the customer service I received from the front desk lady. Daisher. She not only handled the phone, check in, room issues, and on on on. Always with a smile. I would say her service was at par with 4-5 star hotels. She definitely wore many hats. I hope you take good care of her because she is a keeper.

I couldn't believe that the largest bed was a full size, or 2 full size beds. When I went in to check the room, I turned on the light and took 2 steps in, and low and behold, out came a cock roach, big enough to carry my service dog away. I walked right back down to the office, and told her I wasn't going to share my bed with a stranger. I wanted my money back. The girl looked surprised. Ya right. The place is a dive.

The lady who checked me in was a great help. She got me in quick with a lobby full of people and handled the situation very well. My room was clean and is each time I stay here I have nothing bad to say.

Nobody expects much from a Motel 6, do they? I just needed a place to sleep and shower, and I got that. However, I didn't expect everything I got. The bed was comfortable enough. The TV works fine. The shower works fine, though there's not much room to move around in it. Everything is very basic. I stayed at Super 8 in Huntsville last week and it seems like a luxury hotel compared to this. The a/c had come somewhat detached from the wall so that air can come in from outside. The door has a gap so that you can see light coming through. Something else that came through were dozens of little black flying bugs. They are everywhere outside, in mating pairs and it seems they can feel the cool air escaping through the door gap, so they have congregated on the door and the frame both outside and inside the room. I gathered them all up and got rid of them after I arrived but there were plenty more the next morning. It's quite obviously an old motel with a new coat of paint, as evidenced by the paint droplets on the floor and light fixture. If you want basic and don't mind bugs, the price can't be beat. If you want Wi-Fi, it's $2.99 per day.

We stay here quite often when we visit Huntsville. Room could have been a little cleaner. Old blood around toilet next to shower, we had to go buy cleaner for the bathroom. As guest I feel we shouldn't of had to. Room didn't smell very clean. Normally when we stay rooms are very clean, smell nice but this one was nasty.

The lady at the desk was really friendly. But the first room we were given had "something" on the comforters. We were given another room. Which the beds seemed clean but the shower looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in forever. The door seemed like it had been kicked in, it didn't seem like it was closed all the way. There were people being loud outside in the parking lot drinking another guy was drinking by the dumpster. I actually decided to leave sooner than later because I couldn't sleep. I ended up leaving around 4am once I no longer heard the people outside. The only way I would consider staying there again is if they did some serious cleaning up. I was told I received the military discount but I did not see a difference in price. I've stayed at other motel 6's and they were not like this. This gave true meaning to you get what you pay for.

I stayed there on Saturday July 16, 2016 and I'll never go there again, first of all they lost our reservation and a downstairs room was requested but the lady in the office was very rude and she said that's all she had was upstairs and that it's not her fault the reservation was lost so we went ahead and stayed because we was so tired from traveling, the room is very small with no amenities at all, the toilet was wobbely and the shower is very small and the AC didn't work very good, not many channels on the TV and the TV is very small and very fuzzy the floor was very dirty and nasty! People are walking around outside the whole time and you can't watch your car from where you have to park, very awful place to stay! I will never go back there and I gave it a one because I can't give it a negative zero! Never stay there especially if your a woman and your by your self!

They charged me for a frigartor in my room and I told them my mother was a diabetic they didn't care. They also charge for Wi-Fi who does that. So much for guests services.

Liked how it was peaceful and clean. I had no disturbances at all. Was the best sleep I have had in a long time. Staff was very helpful, although the pool needs a little help. But we I'll definetly will be returning.

Josh at the front desk was a delight. He was warm and welcoming. The room was big and clean and the pool was very well maintained. Such a good Hotel at a good price. The only complaint is you have to pay for your shampoo and conditioner out of a vending machine. I feel that if you have a pool that shampoo is a must and it should be provided.

I stayed in multiple rooms over an extended period of time, all in all ok it just depends on the room you get. You have to pay extra perday for internet. You get what you pay for.

No hassle check in, room clean, bed good, could use more TV channels, with AARP I got free Wi-Fi which was nice but I agree, should be free to all Need a more specific area for pet walk, preferably fenced.

What a dump. The wood floors were not swept, there were burger king wrappers in the TV console. The remote control did not work, the non-smoking room that had 3 ashtrays throughout of ours reeked of smoke and mildew. Also, there was blood smeared on the bathroom wall… yes we could have checked out but it was late and my mother was exhausted. Will NEVER make the same mistake again. Worst nights sleep ever. This motel gets 1 star for the clerk being nice.

PLZ READ WHOLE THING I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE The beds they could be better but it was ok the TV was awesome and amazing channels the service at the front desk is terrible they never pick up the phone and when I need a new bed sheets and blankets they told me to use towels what is up with that to be honest I'm glad I'm home the water pressure was terrible and the toilet was sliding around the room not one screw holding it the self was hanging on the wall with two nails as the other side looks like it got pulled out the A/C was making loud sounds and leaking people it's cheap but I rather spend 200 dollars a night and it be way better.

We Do NOT reccomend this place. I dont know how the days inn next door is but I would recommend it over this motel 6. Im a fan od motel 6 but this is one is disgusting. The beds and towels were dirty. I had to check for bed bugs just be on the safe side. I honestly didn't want to sleep on the beds but we were exhausted. The restroom wreeked of cigarette smoke. We found huge roaches. The a/c was so extremely loud, I felt it was going to break down. I would say the only good thing about this hotel is the friendliness of the associate at the front desk.

Very terrible place! Rooms are dirty, found lipstick in my bed. No frig or microwave rooms smell like smoke even when you ask for none smoking just a very dirty place. They say you get what you pay for but apparently not beacause this place shouldn't even be 20$ a night.

Worthwhile and clean for an inexpensive place to nap. But there were still multiple defects that weren't taken care of in the renovation (the toilet wasn't secured to the floor, for example). There also weren't towels and the like for more than a single guest in our double room.

Roaches in the room. Paid to get better Wi-Fi, since it was an option but it sucked. The internet is horrible. Room was rather clean except for the whole roaches in the bathroom. Tv was nice. You couldn't hear any noise from other rooms which was nice. Wouldn't stay here again. There are better options for the same price.

Rooms are updated, the wood floor is wonderful. Rooms are much smaller now, no bathtub so kids dont like it, AC units do not work in many rooms and loud or iffy in others. The worse part though is the owner himself. A middle eastern guy who is only concerned about the net income, NOT customer satisfaction. In fact, he refused homeless people. If something breaks he will not do whatever to help, just the bare minimum to shut you up or get you out of his face.

Clean, peaceful room with no issues checking in. The a/c worked fine. I had a shower in my room rather than a tub/shower combo. The only issue I had was I had to flush twice in order for the toilet to fully work. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked fine and the staff was courteous. I will likely stay there again. You can't beat the price and location!

I stayed in a Motel 6 before and definitely did not expect what I saw here. The décor of the room was amazing. Great place to stay overnight or for a few nights.

I stayed in this hotel for a week and I was very pleased with it. It has recently been renovated, and my room looked very good and clean with a TV and decent amount of channels. The front desk staff are friendly. I see the other bad reviews about this hotel, but u cant expect a crown plaza with the price you pay for a motel 6. It is an excellent value for the money and I will stay again at this hotel. It is in a safe neighborhood and there quite a few places to eat in walking distance.

I stayed here last night and got 2 rooms. The room I slept in was fine. Clean and tidy cool air. The other room not so much water on floor when called to front desk and management sent maintenance right away found that the air unit was backing up on itself. Owner was just worried about flooring getting damaged not our belongings. He didnt listen to his employees well. Felt sorry for both desk clerk and maintenance man low wages and his attitude make some angry. P.

I do not speak on others experiences but mine. This was my second stay for both prison ministry and volunteer weekend event. First was in dec 2013 and due to rain and hotel under renovation it was a muddy mess. It still is under renovation and I was in a room that I had seen a huge mess come into being a nice room for the handicapped. There was no chair and still to the current date until end of renovation no microwaves or micrfridges are in the rooms. I brought my own microwave. My days were busy anyway on visiting prisons and so the needs were the very basic. I also brought my own Wi-Fi service freedompop both to save money and not get frustrated with me experiences with poor Wi-Fi signals among hotels. I did ask when the expected renovations be done and it was said of nearing end of this summer. So I will try this place again later on this year. Room shortage is mostly due to the current renovations. And regard to others who said rudenes I found none. Of poor quality clean rooms all the rooms are being renovated. I give them a 4 star in believing in the investing of a renovated property will be see and experienced in the same redone motel 6 in my dallas area.
