Octavia was very helpful in solving a booking issue when we arrived later than expected. The day staff created a problem with my booking even though I called ahead and made sure they knew I was still planning on staying. I’m giving a good review about my experience based solely on the room & Octavia’s problem solving ability.

Great down home country atmosphere. Complete with spacious rooms, swimming pool, exercise room, and breakfast area. Also, located near IHOP.

Stay at Holiday Inn Express often and they're always consistently great. This was definitely no exception. Enjoyed the hot breakfast and the quietness of the room and always comfortable mattresses.

My son and I loved our stay. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Nice little fitness room. Pool and hot tub were warm and clean. And breakfast was more than just toasts and bagels. And we could park our tractor trailer across the street.

We stayed at the hotel on 8/4/18. Tony checked us in and we super nice, professional and courteous! The rooms (we had 5) were all nice and clean. The breakfast was good, but would be amazing if they had waffles.

I travel alot and work at a hotel. I am very impressed with this hotel. The hotel was very clean. Staff, from Rod, Even and Priscilla to Jeannette, Lisa and Denise and every housekeeper and maintenance personnel… they are AWESOME. I even had very positive dealings with the sales dept. Everyone was accommodating and welcoming. The pool and spa were relaxing and just what I needed. The fitness and business centers were functional. Breakfast was soooo pleasant. Plenty of food all the time. I like the new sausages. My suite was spacious and super clean. Very comfortable… felt like I was at home! Fantastic hotel and exactly what you would expect from the Holiday Inn Express brand. Supremely comfortable pillows and bed. Location is a little ways off the interstate, but that's just due to the winding road to the outlets. Breakfast was great! Parking could be tough if you get there too late, though. Only if there's more than a couple moving trucks or cars with trailers, though.

I called to make reservations in advance and was told there was a $20 incidental fee. I asked if it were non-refundable and she gave me an attitude. I suggest people to look elsewhere before staying here.

I arrived with my family late evening for a nights stay. Everything was typical until the first toilet flush… the result was an overflow. Front desk team provided plunger. During the night. Another attempt to flush produced the same effects. Finally, second clerk provided another room. Packed up and moved to another room much smaller room. Next morning, breakfast… a large (platinum elite guest) cock roach shamelessly peeks out from under the automatic pancake machine just as I was learning that there was no pancake syrup from staff. Finally, I requested a late checkout by calling the front desk. The final convincing negative strike came when housekeeping entered my room 30 min before my requested checkout without knocking or any form of announcements. The do not disturb placard was on the floor in the hallway. Housekeeping immediately told the clerk the door was “cracked” open. Not true, regardless… shouldn’t you announce yourself before entering any guest room? Horrible experience considering I spend nearly 200 nights a year living in hotels!

The room was very clean and comfortable, and I loved it. I would have given 5 stars, but there is a big issue in my opinion — the walls were very thin. I could hear every footstep in the room above. I could also hear every word the people in the room next to me were saying. They were having conversations at normal volume, and I could hear everything — that's how thin the walls are.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Exactly the type of people you want to great you after a long day and having to stay away from home and family. Room was comfortable and breakfast was great.

The location was great and easily accessible. The room was comfortable. There was a leaky faucet in the bathroom and they quickly had it fixed.

Stayed at this hotel last year as well. Quality seems to be in general decline; the place is in bad need of renovations. The chair in the room had holes and stains, the carpeting was stained, and there was sticky substances on the tables in the room as well. Took 10 minutes to check in as the poor front desk associate was preforming multiple jobs at once as there was no one else there to help. I'm also a rewards member, and they ran out of the water and snacks you usually get when you check in. Overall, won't be going back, very dissatisfied.

Though this facility looks great from the Freeway and provides the same awesome look, when arriving at the facility. The ease of access is yet to be desired, along with missing names on the street sign, making it worse. Nonetheless, the price is great, a good IHOP close by and the employees, are friendly, along with being able to provide guidance on surrounding area.

We stayed at this hotel last night and I was reading through the reviews wondering if I was at the wrong place! The first room we got to had an immediately "dirty" feel but it was the HUGE COCKROACH that we had to kill when we hung up our clothes that made us ask for a different room! That room was supposedly an "upgrade" to a suite, but I'm not sure anyone had cleaned that room in who knows when because I've never seen so much dust! Now I look at my account and I've been charged twice for the points I paid for to book this room! Seriously IHG!? This is why I LOVE Marriott! Too bad Terrell doesn't have one! The only positive to this hotel was the front desk clerk, Scott, who was extremely courteous and apologetic for the rooms… I would definitely investigate what your housekeeping spends their time doing… I would venture to guess it isn't cleaning! The trash on the 2nd floor laundry area was never touched in the entire time we were there and was overflowing with food/drinks! Never again! Oh and yes… the smell of ashtray!

We were on the third floor and the room was perfect. And the location of the hotel is perfect for anything you may need. We had no problems with our experience and will definitely be back again.

Hotel is nice, clean rooms friendly staff and a good breakfast. Wifi seems faster this visit than last time. Maybe because its a weekend now instead of a weeknight.

This place sure has been amazing to us. ❤ right next to Tanger Outlets also! This place gives the home feeling at a discount price. Indoor pool and hot tub.

My room smells like an ash tray even though it's "non-smoking". The TV in my room has no signal. The main light in my room won't turn off. The receptionist at the front desk informed there was nothing he could do, all rooms were full. Regardless, when I pay $140 for a room, I expect ALL of the amenities to work properly. I'm beyond disgusted with this hotel and their service. I will be seeking a full refund.

My room smelled like an ashtray, straight up smoke so when I went down to try to switch rooms the person working WAS ON HIS PERSONAL CELL PHONE and did not hang up when I approached him, I told him my room smelled like an ash try and all he said was "we are fully booked tonight, the best I can do is bring up an air freshener"

This place is Awesome! Not only is it EXTREMELY CLEAN, the hospitality from the staff is above and beyond Hospitable. Prompt customer service, friendly atmosphere, and the staff went out of their way to help me with any issues I had. I stayed here a week and my experience was pleasant the entire time. The normative culture here is Family oriented perhaps this is why I felt I home. Thank you Holiday Inn!

Very nice hotel, clean and friendly. Wonderful breakfast. The only complaint I have is you can't regulate your own temp in the rooms.

This was a perfect business stay. Excellent shower with a good dragon. Comfortable room. No cleaning issues. It's not the Ritz, but for my needs there were absolutely no issues.

I arrived at the Holiday Inn on Dec 31, 2015 for night watch service in Terrell, Texas. The next morning I called the front and walked down to the front desk requesting if I could get an extra hour to stay and Cherry stated that it was impossible because housekeepers need to get in the room and clean and spend time with their family, which I can respect. As a veteran I have stayed in 5 star hotels that have always accommodated the customer. Plus I'm a member of the Holliday Inns but will revoke that. Go to Motel 6 they leave the light on, lol.

Well kept and will stay again.

Wonderful experience. Clean room. Good breakfast. We needed to stay an extra night due to an ice storm. Although the hotel was booked when we asked to stay an extra night, Lauren remembered our request when a room became available and offered it to us. What a relief to be able stay in one place and safely out of the storm.
