The beds aren't big enough.

My boyfriend & I stayed last weekend. Staff was great! Rooms were clean! Had to switch rooms, TV didn't work. No shampoo, coffee pot, or hair dryer, would be wonderful! But everything else was great!

Th first room I was assigned to was 86 degrees in room. I fooled with AC, but wouldn't cool. Went back to lobby, was assigned a different room. When I walked in there were huge dead crickets all over the floor. I picked up some with toilet paper. But when I woke up in the morning there were just as many. The T. V didnt work. By that time I was so tired from my flight into Dallas, I figured what the hey. I did pull all sheets and blankets off to make sure there were no bed bugs. I figured I was safe to sleep there.

The room is a bare basic room with no frills, but the room was quiet and cozy. Check in was a breeze. I will recommend motel 6 to my friends.

It was decent for a Motel 6. Room was clean, and we appreciated the laminate floors; much cleaner than carpets. The walls were pretty thin. The clientele was kind of sketchy and at times, a bit scary. I was glad we were only staying one night, and I definitely kept the deadbolt locked.

The price was excellent, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Was disappointed that there was no small refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker in room. Coffee in the lobby in the morning was watered down and cold. Man at desk was not friendly at all. Went to Terrell for family reunion so again, the price was great but will not stay here again.

All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. For the price you couldn’t find a better room. It was the best $50 per night hotel I think I’ve stayed at!

It was not good. The service was bad and the beds were hard. Then they have hair all over the towels. It wasn't nice then it was like the key scanner was broken. They had cheap rooms but with all of the bad things there I can explain why. They are one of the worst hotels there but if you are looking for hairy towels then this is the place to go. Also if you HATE good service then go here. This is all from me but I highly recommend you to NOT go here. And I repeat do NOT go here.

My sister and I live in Terrell but wanted to get away for a couple of days, somewhere we could use a swimming pool and that was close to places to eat and drink. This was an ideal choice. Friendly staff and clean room. It was a little small but very comfortable.

My husband&I were visiting my son in Dallas. Stayed 2 nights here, was impressed with clean, well stocked, non smoking rooms. Will stay at same place if I'm the area.

Very recently renovated room. It was clean and the customer service was great. The beds are not very comfortable and the pillows are even worse; however, the "you get what you pay for" value scale applies here and it really was a great value.

The room has a false appearance of being clean but really not cleaned. The bathroom only gets a wet towel put in the floor and moved across it. Their is no disinfectant used, toilet bowl has a nasty ring inside. Microwave is not cleaned had old food burned inside. The sheets are a dirty dingy white color with stains. There was bed bugs crawling on me as well the bit marks on me. I was discriminated against because of my medical problem. I was told to leave and never come back including the lady at the front desk called expedia on me to never book me a room there again. Now expedia will not book me a room anywhere and this is all because of my medical problem.

Decor was up to date and nice. Love the hard wood floors, no carpet! Very clean also and that's a big issue with me when I stay at hotels. Staff was courteous. I would definitely stay again.

Let's be honest, I stayed at Motel 6 because I'm on a budget, but he was such a warm face, so friendly, and really took care of me more than you see at some expensive hotels. I literally just came off from a week in a hotel paying $1, 000 for the week and then came here and the service was above and beyond the $1000 hotel. He carried my bags up stairs, shared friendly banter, and made me feel "at home". Truly an amazing thing when you've been traveling for weeks. Thank you. I just wish there was real half and half for coffee, not just creamer — would go a long way!

It’s a very basic motel. It was clean but if you are expecting amenities like a hairdryer or coffee pot in your room you will need to look elsewhere. There was a lot of noise from the doors slamming all night. The bed was very soft so if you need a firm mattress you may need to ask if they have one available.

Staff was exceptionally friendly. Not a whole lot offered at this motel, but some rooms do have a mini fridge upon request. Very cheap rooms, an outside pool (seasonal), laundry facility, free coffee in the morning, and free Wi-Fi. There is no complimentary breakfast offered here, but you get what you pay for. The rooms were really nice and not run down like you would expect at a cheap motel. Overall a great place to sleep on a budget.

When the price is at its lowest, you can't beat it. Not high end, but real nice for a 3-star hotel. Guest service was professional. The parking lot isn't very big and the pavement could use a lot of work. (Lots of pot holes) but overall an good experience.

Good quality rooms, affordable, and friendly staff, makes for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this motel 6 to my family and friends.

The room was decent with hardwoods, flat screen TV and cable. Also liked that we had the option to choose microwave and fridge. The mattresses were hard. The bedding had cigarette burns in them. The environment is barely above a hostel.

I've been to many motel 6, but this place cannot even compare! It is really nice and clean. Good customer service and safe place to stay in:)

This was the best Motel 6 I ever stopped at. The room was neat and clean! The bed was just super. I guess maybe new pillow top mattress. It just laid so good and of course I was very tired from a 30 hr drive from California!

I was blown away by the upgrades! Forgive me for this but I could not believe that I was staying at a Motel 6. This was by far one of the most beautiful, wonderful smelling room I've experienced in a while. Modern furniture, lovely sconce lighting, nice wall mount TV and fancy bathroom AND the greatest surprise of all, THE PRICE IS STILL GREAT! Thanks Heather and thanks M6

Was told place was recently remodeled. It looks nice in the rooms with vinyl wood look floor and bright colors. Bathroom was decent size and the door to the bathroom was at least 32 in, not standard 24 in. Would stay again.

Everyone is so nice and friendly, I requested a downstairs room and they gave me one by the office. It was a clean hotel and nice rooms.

Had the worst luck traveling with our 3 kids Christmas Eve. On our way from central Texas to Alabama. So by the time we made it to our reservation with a different hotel chain in Dallas we were exhausted. Well they cancelled our reservation bc they weren't taking cards. Then wanted to charge more than the online reservation so I left angry… Thinking I could drive all night. My babies we're miserable so I called a few places… Everywhere was full or charging ridiculous prices due to the holiday! I called JUSTIN at motel 6. He qouted me the cheapest rate over the phone he could. Made it better when we got there. Cared about my situation. Then in the middle of the night when the neighbors were loud fighting and woke up my kids he came personally instead of just calling to make sure it got quited down. If it wasn't him Christmas morning traveling and in a hotel with your significant other and 3 kids would have been absolutely unbearable. Thanks motel 6 and Justin in Terrell Texas HE NEEDS A RAISE!

It is a motel 6, no frills. However, at least the room I stayed in, was completely remodeled with modern fixtures. It was clean and had friendly service. For the price it was great.

… and I've always felt good about staying at Motel 6 before. There were roaches, something that looked like a flea, burn holes in the top blanket on the bed and stains on it as well, stains on the towels (blood or something reddish), black marks on the walls (looked like someone killed some bugs in there and didn't wipe off the walls), a squishy mattress and the shower tap didn't work properly. I really contimplated leaving but I had been scuba diving all day and was so exhausted I just decided to sleep and leave first thing in the morning. I'll never stay there again. The best thing I can say is the staff was very nice.

It started at check in. The clerk was parked in the back of the office and acted annoyed when I came in. She came to the counter on her cell phone and barefoot, then proceeded to check me in, while still talking on her cell. It was the rudest interaction in the service industry I've ever had. The room was semi clean but poorly maintained. There were stains and cigarette burns on the blankets and the bathroom floor was greasy. The property lacked proper parking for my car + trailer and I had to park in an adjacent property, which I was worried about, especially with the type of crowd that was hanging around everywhere. When traveling with my dog, I don't expect to stay at 5-star resorts, but some in this price range are very nice and have friendly staff. It's obvious that the people working and maintain this location don't care about it, nor the customers that keep it open.

Great staff members very friendly and dog friendly but the second floor smells like marijuana, half of the second floor is smoking other half is non smoking but the non smoking rooms still smell like smoke. They provide no shampoo in the bathroom for showers etc, the towels are dingy. The walls are as thin as paper. The pillows arent worth a flip. There was a cigarette burn in top blanket on my bed and I was in a non smoking room. They also draw the wrong crowds. The only improvement they made to this place was paint on the walls, new floors and one new chair in the room. Would not recommend this place.

Wonderful place quiet not traffic area People who is workers wonderful friendly and respectful and they doing acts when I asked and they will do something quick NICE CARING and housekeeping so sweethearts and nice I knew few housekeeping but they doing their best to doing hard. We (family) Stay here for month we still here but LOVE IT and comfortable feel home. PETS wow. My dogs happy here and not annoying them amazing. Also who lives here friendly too. Good beds too very Firms not kill your back at all. ;) Have NICE WARM POOL nice nice clean too. PEACEFUL and respectful too. Come here and enjoy the motel rooms! The staff was really friendly and the room we stayed in was super clean. It looks brand new to us. We only stayed one night and after checking out, we realized we left our pillows in the room. I called the front desk on the road and was able to come back and get it right away. Thanks Motel 6 Terrell, TX for making this a great experience for us.

Location was good. I stayed for one week and during that week the cleaning people only came 2 times. No one ever made beds or changed trash. For the most part my stay was great. I love the front desk staff in the evenings. The woman was always nice and helped when I needed something.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed. The fire alarm went off repeatedly all through the night even though there was no fire or emergency. We did not get any rest.

Horrible place! They were smoking in the hallways and a baby kept crying and wouldn't shut up. Do not stop anywhere in Terrell, they are ghetto and loud. Go to the next town!

Rooms not clean… fridge leaking water all over the floor… roaches… towels not clean… window latch broken they had a stick to keep it still… not safe at all… front desk was so unprofessional it as unreal… waited on her to get off her phone from a personal phone call so that she could assist me… side door. Did not close so why have a key. Why asked me to give a survey and absolutely nothing will be done… crazy. This motel only harvest. Drug addicts…

Not a bad hotel. The front desk people are friendly. More pet friendly than the la quinta next door and way better on your wallet.

Rooms are HORRIBLE! If you like weed, this is the roach motel for you cause you'll definitely smell it through the vents. Walls are incredibly thin. Felt like I was going to fall through the shower floor. Be careful of people hanging around outside. Creeepy! Stay at your risk. They say rooms are updated but not really. Check for bed bugs… cigarette burns… definitely need to level and rebuild.

Upon entering motel there was a strong odor, but our room did not have the smell, the room was nice Staff at evening we arrived around 9pm could be dressed more professional, morning clerk attended to me with a baby asleep in her arms.

I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel, my room had a leaky sink, the a/c caused condensation on everything in the room, even the floor, the bed sheets still had detergent on them, and people were very noisy at late hours. I won't be staying here again.

Room was reserved ahead of time by a family member, and there was a mixup because of a staff shift change. Otherwise, room was ok.

The super friendliness of the man behind the desk at nights, makes the stay so nice. He welcomes people with such joy and big smiles. The rooms are very nice and clean. The pool is a joy for the children. Wi-Fi is not the greatest and I had trouble with it, but it wasn't a big deal for me because I had no business to do.

This is got to be the worst Motel 6 I have ever been in. There is mold all over this room my sheet smell like cooking grease besides being yellow. Lobby and room smell like cigarettes. Will be calling corporate office. $72 and change right down the toilet.

The staff was helpful and courtious. Check in was easy. Clean room. The beds were a tad hard. The biggest draw back was stairs only. No elevator. And the first floor, which was the non smoking floor, smelled heavily of marijuana.

I stayed here 5 nights and I was kinda glad to switch hotels. I was on the bottom floor on the north end I was at the hotel most of the week since my husband came here to work. This was the loudest hotel ever all you heard was banging above and around us and doors opening and closing all the time. The first night something went wrong with the water they were trying to fix it but when I tried to use it water was very dirty for a few hours. If you want to watch TV good luck most channels don't work maybe 5 good channels at best. Other then that this hotel looks nice and clean.

I think it sucked. Knew I was staying for 2 days, Should of offered me a microwave and fridge. Bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The best part of my experience was my pet stay for free. Trish was very nice and helpful. I will never stay there again.

For the price it was good. Great location away from heavy traffic but very near to restaurants.

This is probably the worst place to stay in terrell. The pool and hot tub are always out of order, the staff is rude, and the rooms are mediocre. But besides that, it's extremely DANGEROUS. I got my car broken into within the first thirty minutes of being there. I got my wallet and other belongings stolen. I went inside to ask for help, to see if the saw anything suspicious. The assistant manager said "it's in the polices hands and we're not discussing this anymore". This is the worst costumer service I have ever recieved. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Stayed there recently and was an overall pleasant experience. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Had to stay on a trip, wasn't expecting much since we paid so little. They could have charged way more for the quality of room. The staff was awesome too. Only coffee in the morning, but that's ok, we sure didn't spend much on this room. NO problem we can get our own breakfast. Thanks for a good nights rest.

Upon arrival Dawn the general manager since 2004 was very friendly, polite, and courteous. However, after day two of our one week stay our vechile was broken into. And $1, 200 in possessions were stolen. After not feeling safe any longer Dawn made excuses on why she would not return any of our money for the nights we did not stay. The only thing Terrell has going for it is the police department! Stay away.
