The front staff could have been more welcoming. The staff at 3 of 3 restaurants on premise were completely unconcerned that we wanted to eat a meal. Had to beg them to take our orders, which is not an exaggeration, THREE different times. There seemed to be little training in guest relations. No smiles, no offers to help. We were all but ignored and felt like unwelcome guests. This is our 2nd and last trip. Pitiful experience.

This was the perfect vacation spot! Indoors when we needed it. Outdoors when we could. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. The summer theme was really fun and I can see us coming back to enjoy Christmas season and next summer no matter what the theme. Everything is so well done and thought out. I can’t say enough about how happy we were with our stay. I’m a single mom with an 8 year old.

Amazing resort! Lots of activity for children we enjoyed the water park the Italian restaurant and great breakfast buffet.

The bed was like sleeping on a rock. Our room was hot, the temperature was fine until after midnight, it was like the air was turned down or off during the night. We ate at the Texan Station, my food was so salty it was inedible. When I commented about it to the waitress, she just laughed it off. " sometimes it's very salty, other times it's like there is no salt at all! You just never know! ".
We decided to try the Gaylord, since our favorite weekend getaway was booked. We will not be back!

Just got back from an extended stay. Wonderful staff and I highly recommend relache spa. Worth it.

Had a fun time BUT! I was very concerned about the hotel’s outside pool when we were the on Sunday afternoon September 2nd I noticed a lot of floating bubbles in pool in corners & very warm in water almost like the jacuzzi. I know there was lots of people in there but I still was very worried about the temperature of it & staying bubbles in corners of pool. May want to check it out so many times a day for bacteria. & Mexican food was bland was not impressed, sports bar food was much better but very pricey for a turkey sandwich w/chips
But over beautiful place my kids took me to celebrate my bday there.

This hotel is amazing. There is so much to see and so many things to do. I was amazed by its size and offerings. We had spa treatments that were top notch. The pool attendants were very attentive, and service was great. The gift shops offered many things, and my kids were thrilled with the surprises we brought home to them.

This place was pretty cool! We took my 8 year old niece there for her birthday weekend and I think I had as much fun as she did! Restaurants were great, rooms were comfy, the water park was fun and not crowded, and she loved the Saturday night dance party with the Smurfs (fun for adults with a bar nearby too! ) I could live without the country music pumped through hidden speakers EVERYWHERE, but it IS Texas, so I tried to embrace the ambiance.

Was very nice atmosphere but got food poisoning from Cantina Grill buffet. And the smurfs parade was very disorganized.

The staff was super helpful and very friendly. The facility is beautiful and well kept. We had an issue with our parking and the front desk helped immediately. Even the base rooms have a fridge and a safe. Great restaurant options within the facility allowing a wide option of choices. We attended a convention there and even the convention area was well taken care of. Absolutely loved it.

I came here for a conference. The place is huge and had a theme for children. The water park was included so that was cool. However having been to many of these resorts for years, I found lacking 2 things. 1. Lack of places to eat that were open. Many places were closed and opened late. Only 1 place was open besides the quick grab and go convenience store 2. Bar closed at 1 and they started wrapping things up at 12:15. Other resorts did not do this. Overall score — 4 Cleanliness — 5 Staff — 5 Food — 3 Room — 5 Bar — 3 Parking — 2 Amenities — 4 Gym — 4.5

The property is beautiful. The rooms are very much standard. Clean with accommodating staff. That's where the pleasantries end. Everything is bigger in Texas including the cost of food at the Gaylord Texan as well as your room bill. Their property is so big and everything else just outside of comfortable reach that they know they can charge you 2x the price for the same food and drink you could get elsewhere much cheaper. My coffee and burrito the first day we stayed came to $16 where the same would have been $8 or less anywhere else. Billing has been an absolute PITA. When I booked the room they quoted me the room rate and then tacked on a note that said BTW there's a 13% resort fee that will be added. Then why not just calculate, using the computer you used to calculate my room fee, that and quote it on the bill!?!?!?! I had to get out a calculator and figure the total myself. On top of that they charged a deposit that wasn't mentioned on the website (if it was it was buried in fine print) and wasn't mentioned at all at check-in. All told a $555 room bill ($635 according to my calculator) was authorized for $771 instantly at time of check-in. Now that I'm home the authorization is gone completely and I don't have a charge for the room. Their billing department insists they've charged my card. The bank says they haven't. The second time I called them the billing agent opened with "this might take 3-5 days to show on your card statement".

Absolutely had a great time 2 days of water park was perfect size to keep up with grandbabaies! Beautiful place to stay lots of food choices. There is no complimentary breakfast wish there was.
For the price to include water park for 2 full days and parking, nice quiet comfortable room, we think it was a good value.
We will be back!

The customer service was lacking. We have stayed at many Marriott properties across the board and this was by far the worst. My husband is lifetime platinum with Marriott so we have had a lot of experience with them. They are really not family friendly. I don’t understand why they turn all the lights off at night in the atrium. So many people stumbling around in the dark. When my husband went to settle up the bill the lady checked us out and we had had a late check out. She couldn’t change it so we had 20 minuets to get out or they were going to charge us another day. The line to get out of the parking garage was terrible. They only had one lane open to get out.

Beautiful hotel. Nice staff. I was there for a training event and it seemed the staff was somewhat overwhelmed with luggage and vallet parking. I waited over 45 minutes for a bell boy to help me get my luggage down and he never came. I had to checkout of hotel and be at training so I struggled to get it down myself. When our car was brought around we had to wait yet again for the guys to locate who had the keys. There was a mix up with our reservations and we were locked out of our rooms the second night. We only got an apology from the front desk. Too nice of a hotel to have such mediocre service. These type of events are what make a hotel like this. Al in all the staff was courteous. Just overwhelmed I think! Not good for people their on business.

Very large and nice hotel. Suited the conference I attended very well. There were limited eating options, especially if you are on a budget. It doesn't make it any easier that it is decently out of the way of any other places. It would be a long walk just to get to any place other than another hotel owned by the same company. The atrium was very cool and really added to the experience.

The only reason the Texan isn’t a 5 Star is because We’ve Been to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. The size of Nashville is amazing.
For the Texan, food prices are a little high, but understand the Convenience. We ate in the market place, had their breakfast burrito… needs salsa. But that’s preference. We had drinks and snacks in the sports bar… great beer (shiner blond on tap) and chips and queso.
We ate at the cantina and well we had drinks there the night before and talked to the restaurant manager. Cool guy. Next night we returned for dinner. Empanadas, and brisket tacos are my favorites. The chips have a flavor on them that is sweat chili. Great.
We ate at the steak house. Very nice meat selection and great wines. I’ll always recommend an Amarone (Italian) with the dry aged cowboy ribeye. Lobster bisque was on point. The mushroom risotto was good. No food complaints.
The water park is small, but it’s great for us to get in a few hours and then back to the air conditioning of the hotel. Good times. Will hit another again soon.

You want to talk about an experience that you will never forget, go stay at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Hotel. It is simply amazing. You will not believe the amenities nor the classiness of the rooms. I will say that it is pricey and if you are on a budget, it should probably not be your first choice unless your budget is very generous. It is definitely a five-star experience and commands a five-star price. If you can afford it it is something that you will definitely love and appreciate.

The Gaylord resort is amazing! Family friendly environment with all sorts of fun for all ages. It has fun for everyone including The Smurf Village, Art classes and crafting, a water park and separate Indoor outdoor pools, many ballrooms and conference areas, night club with DJs live bands and karaoke, wonderful food choices. Amazing staff and so much more. This is a place that truly gives you an escape from it all! I loved It! This trip was mainly business and networking. The next will be for a family getaway. Affordable fun and relaxing everything you want for your next Vacation.

The hotel is Démeusurément Grand. The central square under the dome is superb. You will be lucky if you have an interior view room.
There are several small restaurants and a few shops inside. The outdoor pool is very large and proper. There's a spa.
The service was very good during our stay and the large conference rooms we had rented were always bottled on time. If you have to stay in Dallas as a family, I would recommend this hotel.

The resort is beautiful and you can’t beat the Dallas weather in the spring. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. This is definitely a great spot for families as there is so much to do without having to leave the resort. The pool area was really pretty, but the pool itself was a little dirty. I would stay here again for a conference.

Attended a meeting at the Gaylord Texan Convention Center and was very nice. The entire place was very clean and decorated nicely. The landscaping leading up to the Resort and Center was beautiful and very well maintained. Drinks from the Silver Bar inside the lobby we're excellent and very fast service. Overall a great experience!

The property is nice and very clean with excellent staff. Rooms are comfortable but the walls still seem a little too thin. The food is standard hotel fare though they seem to try more than some other places. Overall enjoyable for a convention with the top tier staff being the standout.

The Gaylord is a wonderful property that has many amenities to offer. The eateries that are on property have excellent food offerings, though they come at a price. There are many options nearby for great Texas cuisine. The rooms are very well appointed and clean. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating to all your needs. The convention center that is attached to the hotel is very easy to get to and also easy to navigate. If your planning a stay in the Grapevine area, this is an excellent choice that has plenty to offer to keep you and your family well entertained throughout your stay.

Recently attended a dinner at the Gaylord. Couldn't have been nicer. Service and food were terrific. I was at a private event. Martin was the server and took care of all our needs with polite professionalism. Highly recommend this property. So much to do in a great location.

Close to the mall grape vine, beautiful room very spacious and the staff phenomenal.

Absolutely beautiful place to see. Hope to find time to actually stay here sometime. The center of this resort is an open area that has features from around Texas all bundled up into a downtown area feel. Including the Alamo and river walk in San Antonio. Model trains. And other model scenery. Has an outdoor water park and a bunch of other stuff. I'm sure that you could spend a few days here sand not see it all.

The resort itself is beautiful. Well-maintained flowers, a variety of shops and restaurants, nice pool and the perfect place for a corporate convention which is why I stayed there. The downside was we were placed in one of the only rooms that did not have a balcony. It literally felt like we were in a cave. Obviously this being a corporate stay I did not personally pay for the room, however I would be highly upset if I was there on vacation and ended up here. Also, it’s great to have a selection of five restaurants so you don’t have to leave the resort. It’s not so great when three out of the five were closed due to partial buyouts. When a restaurant is closed guests should be noticed so we are not waking from one end of the resort to the other. Overall, a nice stay but considering the aforementioned I cannot give five stars.

Do not get the app that provides a key to your room. Before we checked out our room was locked and the room key on the app vanished. We couldn’t get in or out of the room. We had not checked out yet and my purse was in the room (with my ID in it). They would not open the room for me to get in, without an ID! What? The grounds are beautiful but the service is disappointing… we were almost late to the airport because of this stressful incident. Next time just get a keycard!

Enormous place. Loved the lobby and other places inside the covered area. Amazing breakfast buffet. Room wasn't what I would have expected, a bit small and mine was dirty. Vents in the room were quite covered in dust and looked a bit " hairy". Great experience overall though.

Dedicated convention parking leaves something to be desired; the lot wasn't anywhere near large enough to handle the population of our event. I had to lap the lot for 10+ minutes waiting for someone to leave, and ended up paying $20 for the pleasure. The other lot is on the other side of the hotel. That being said, the actual building is respectable. There's plenty of space and though most of it is vertical (I saw 3 floors, and suspect there's a few more), there was a plethora of escalators and elevators. The lunch provided was decent. The staff encountered was personable and helpful.

A conservative resort, yet most suitable for adults. Send the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge across the street while you have your grown-up conferences and events here. I love walking along the man-made river and seeing the huge model train sets. The whole resort is indoors so it's perfect year-round. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. The conference facility is suitable for large and small groups alike. The catering is excellent. A couple of problematic things: it's far away from public transportation, restaurants, and other local attractions. A car is a must and parking is ridiculously expensive.

This is a very nice resort. I was there for a work event. The food was great, as is true for Marriott properties in general. Rooms are very nice and clean. Their convention center is not too far of a walk. They did a nice job laying it out.

In general, a good location for a conference, although the water from the sink in the bathroom was cold in the convention center, and the Wi-Fi worked a little.

Great hotel complex for conferences and meetings, however this site is far from everything. The atmosphere is superb, and the swimming pool superb both inside and outside.

The Gaylord hotel is an excellent hotel both visually and for service. The employees are friendly and helpful and there are plenty of things to do inside and out. The rooms are comfortable, but the beds are a little more firm than I prefer. The atrium is beautiful, but the noise in the atrium can be heard in your room as well. All in all, however, I loved our stay. Oh, and their steakhouse is fantastic!

Just had dinner at one of their restaurants. The food was good but the hospitality of the waitress (Lisa? ) In the Cantons was awesome. I was dining by myself and she was the perfect balance of conversation and attentiveness. Made me feel very relaxed & I savored every bite… especially the avacado cigar dessert!

Great accommodations with plenty of room for a corporate retreat. Massive lecture halls are able to be split into multiple rooms for smaller sessions. Facility also takes care of catering, and food is serviceable. Staff is friendly and on top of things. Also has decent fitness center for a hotel and outdoor water park for the kids.

It's a wonderful hotel. I went to a convention and the service and facilities are very large and have everything you need.

I stayed at the Gaylord as part of a large sales conference. At first look, it can be hard to find any issues with the venue. The rooms were nice, clean, and the staff was excellent. Look up some pictures of the site. In person it is even more impressive. The conference facilities were able to support a very large group but also support smaller break out groups. So why not 5 star? I really dislike it when businesses take advantage of captive audiences. The food was expensive to the point of feeling predatory. It was a mile to get to any other options.

I have never been to the Gaylord Texan! So this was my first time. The Christmas experience was phenomenal. They really go way out and making people feel the Christmas spirit. Lots to see and do spend the day there if you can. Definitely family oriented of all ages. Very pricey in the restaurant or the shopping stores. But you don't have to eat or purchase things to look at all the Christmas decorations. I rate this 5-Stars just on me Christmas ambience that we experienced here! ☆☆☆☆☆

Nice resort, friendly staff. Restaurant food good but not impressive. Rooms are adequate, very clean but anticipated a nicer decor based on the room rates. Beds a bit firm for my taste. Every request made through "Consider It Done" phone calls were addressed surprisingly fast, and followed up with a courtesy call. Plenty to do in the area, but definitely need a car!

Went during Christmas time. The place was beautiful and perfect for kids. That being the case, there are people EVERYWHERE! Checking into the hotel on a Saturday was rough. If you pack a bunch of luggage, you will want to go to the front entrance so that you don't have to carry it from the parking garage. When we did this, we had to wait in the valet line, which took forever! Once we got our keys to our room, navigating to the elevator was a journey. The bellhop took us thru the most congested area so that we could appreciate the scenery. Anyways, the scenery was great, the room was nice, and ICE was fun. If I could do it all over again, I would go on a weekday, probably Tuesday, and leave on Thursday.

Was a great visit to their "ice" display. 5 children and 5 adults. Went on a Thursday and the lines were short. Do not buy the adult beverages inside the display. $15 each and no one liked the taste. Wear you own hat gloves and scarf. Jacket provided only. War warm shoes. All had a good time. Was our second visit.

It is a place that is very diverse, with 4 restaurants, texMex, a sportBar, a Steak house and an Italian, has its own water park and a night club on the shore of lake grapevine, is definitely a good place where to spend a good time.

The location was awesome. The rooms where nice. But the view in the from the rooms where so awesome. It was like being in a movie. We are going back soon it was great. But the service to get tickets for the events could be better need more windows open. We pay to much money to be waiting in line for that long just to get tickets.

I came here to eat at one of the restaurants for a company holiday dinner. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays with lots to walk around and see. Traffic and trying to find parking was a little hectic. Road signage could have been a little clearer getting back to the garage but they did have people out directing traffic as you approached the garage so that helped. It was a little confusing trying to figure out where to go once we were inside the main hotel building. They have interactive map screens but when it's so busy it's hard to find one that is open. General signage throughout the lobby could have been better. But the place really did look absolutely beautiful and well cared for. I'd love to come back to stay at the hotel some time. It's definitely a place worth checking out even if it's just to walk around and take in the sights, especially over the holidays.

The resort is beautiful and HUGE. It is not, however a relaxing place. It's just not that kind of resort. But that's not why I come here. This place is designed for fun! I've attended bachelorette parties, weddings, family dinners, and special events here. It's always fun. The decor around the holidays is reason enough to make it a December destination. And the ICE exhibit is the coolest (pun intended)

Magical for the Holidays! So beautifully decorated. Children and adults alike are left in awe with how gorgeous the grounds are. Parking is not free and the restaurants do not validate (at least not the Mexican one). Inside its temperature controlled so I recommend not dressing too warm because you will get hot. It’s t-shirt weather inside! My children loved it! Santa was on hand for pics and there was cookie decorating available. Love this place! We visit every year!

The event ICE is very nice, only that it is somewhat expensive for the size, if I had more ice sculptures would be worth what is spent, but the decor inside the hotel is spectacular, which you can visit at no cost.

We visited the Gaylord Texan to entertain us with the show of ice. Staff extremely professional and friendly. Very highly recommended.

Wwaawww is a beautiful place with a décor majestically CHRISTMAS. (A season that I visited). I highly recommend it, with all security the will fun you'll find Restaurants of all kinds. Very recreational, and you'll get your best Holiday photos.

This place is incredible… minus one star for the price of parking and miscellaneous inside the place. You may say, well… it is a resort after all. Yes, correct. Locals would like to enjoy the amenities without such a great premium. Over all it is a beautiful place. The ICE show is super fun and crazy cold… bundle up and do not forget your mittens and ear warmers.

The hotel experience was amazing! I loved walking around and exploring everything. The indoor view was absolutely amazing. They do have restaurants in there which is amazing. Room service was awesome. I highly recommend going here for your family or just a simple getaway.

Great room, clean. Friendly staff. I didn't like the bed. Too soft, but that's just personal preference. The inside was very pretty and nice. I was a little surprised by the stained carpets in the conference center, but everything else was nice. I did get 10 bug bites while I was there though, which was annoying. The whole inside has live plants and I saw a guy spraying chemicals for bugs on them the whole time, but it must have not worked. I didn't see a single bug (except a giant cockroach outside by the swimming pool). I was only outside for maybe 20 minutes tops and never went through grass, so I'm not sure how I got all the bug bites. Anyway, the prices at the restaurants were ridiculous, and the extremely overpriced grilled cheese sandwich I bought at the Texas bar was burnt and barley any cheese, so that was disappointing. But when I met a colleague there a few nights later their crab dip was excellent. Good news is that we found the Marketplace, which actually had decent priced food and ate there the rest of the time. The two Starbucks inside the hotel were pretty awesome and we utilized both frequently during our stay. When we ate in the conference center dining hall the staff was all amazing and friendly there too. One man actually sang to us while he served us. What a joy. :) The lobby was really nice and gorgeous. My best friend and I had so much fun hanging out there.

Great local place to get away and have a good time. There is plenty to see and do at the hotel for the whole family. As with any resort, be careful what you do and how you spend. You can have a great time at a reasonable price, but costs can ad up quickly if you don't watch what your doing. I went for ICE during Christmas Vacation. The Hotel looks fantastic with all the lights and activities. It can get very crowded at this time of year, but if you can go early you can experience the fun without the crowds. This is a great way to spend a weekend getaway and my family loved it.

Great place to stay… The service is very good. Its expense but you get what you pay for. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed their for the Cowboys vs Giant game. Overall very satisfied.

The hotel is beautiful. We were able to check in early, which was great because the whole reason we went was for a weekend getaway and wanted to use the water park as much as possible. The water park was good. Kid area was where we spent most of our time. After a long day at the park we went to the sports bar for dinner. Food was good, but it took about an hour to get it. Which was extremely hard for my four year old. The next day we went back to the water park. My only complaint would be that we were no longer able to charge to the room since we checked out.

We loved it here! The staff was amazing! We loved our room and had such a relaxing time. It's a beautiful place! We had an amazing breakfast buffet. It was so nice to get away from reality for a couple of days. The only con was the valet, it was hard to get a hold of them and took a long time to get our car. They worked hard but just were overwhelmed Also the pools aren't great, they are old and tucked away. We didn't go over to the water park though but it looked cool.

Be prepared to spend some cheddar here. Seemed pretty clean, and I'm hard to impress in that department. Food was nothing to write home about and was very pricey. Very fun atmosphere. Would have enjoyed the water park more if the water was heated a bit. I couldn't even get in, too cold!

First visit here. Overall it is a beautiful hotel/resort. It feels like you drove hours to come due to the interior design & number of stores/restaurants available as well. Very relaxing, comfortable beds, rooms a bit small, no ventilation in RR or bath, TV a bit small for price of staying per night. Do come with a wallet full of Benjamin's or have plenty in your account, it is pricey. Food is expensive, $5 for a ice cream sandwich, $4 Gatorade, (ballpark prices on foods) etc. I guess you can't put a price tag on the experience if you enjoy it. My family & I had a very relaxing time. The view from the higher floors is amazing. No one ever checked on us however to see how our stay was, very surprised by that. In the end I do recommend this place just because how relaxed & rejuvenated you will feel after you leave if of course there's no issues during your visit.

Exceptional place at the American.

We ate breakfast at the Cantina. They had a lot of great options and variety of food and it all tasted great. It was very expensive for a buffet though. But the rest of the menu was so expensive that getting the buffet only made sense. The orange juice was included with the buffet price. Also, they charge a mandatory 20% 'service' charge, the tip. So you can't really choose to tip higher or lower depending on the service.

Really cool resort. Rooms are perfectly comfortable, if not a little small. Smart TVs that have Netflix and Hulu. Pretty cool water park with lazy river. Great location relative to downtown Grapevine.

Excellent time, as always! We had a great time at the water park. The shuttles were always prompt and came steadily to take us back and forth between the park and hotel. My 5 year old did the a. M. Alice and the Wonderland scavenger hunt and we didn't realize he had to do both to get the prize. We were not staying an additional night so we couldn't do the p. M. One but the concierge honored what he had done and I was very grateful but he was so excited for get his prize and go back to the water park. Everyone is always so pleasant and I love the fact that they are close by and provide so much entertainment for the whole family. We have stayed at the great wolf lodge a few times but the Gaylord is still always my 5 year olds favorite place to stay and they offer a much more reasonable price as well!

I love this resort! I went for my anniversary and we had a ball, the staff was super friendly and we loved all of the amenities they have to offer. The zip line rocks, and the drinks are amaxing I would definitely recommend this resort. We had a very pleasant stay!

The bar Glass Cactus was very nice and had much space. Most of the people were somewhat higher.

I attended a multiday conference at the Gaylord Texan for one of our software vendors. We spent the days in the convention center and the evenings/nights at the resort side. All staff were cordial and very willing to help. They had an amazing knack at knowing when you needed something without being pushy for attention. This years resort theme was Alice in Wonderland. I found it really cool that they had artwork from various local artists on display around the resort based not the theme. While we were there one artist was working on a large sand sculpture. If I had any real complaint it was how "you can't get there from here". My room was located on the edge of one wing, and although there was a door to the building a few floors below, there was no direct route to it' elevators stopped a floor above, stairs two. It meant a lot of extra walking to get to an from meetings.

The people who rrabaja there are very nice and the atmosphere was very good.

Terrific property. The view of Lake Grapevine is exquisite. Only 5 to 10 minutes from DFW International Airport. The enclosed atrium, which is a highlight of all of the Gaylord properties, is beautiful. Shopping and dining, whether on or off property, is first class. The offsite amenities are a short 5 to 10 minutes away. Visit during the Grapevine Main Street Days or Grapefest festivals for a truly memorable eating and drinking experience.

Oh my God it just blew my mind the place I never knew existed when I wasn't Dallas and now that I live in some other place this was just the most Grandview place ever visited in Dallas. It has a an awesome display of small miniature trains and as usual but the Lone Star. I really enjoyed my time over here.

Nice place, the staff was really friendly and the room service food was good and quick. My complaints are that I am here for a convention and it's Sunday at lunch and the only place open to eat was a $35 brunch or snack type food from the coffee shop. Needless to say I was not happy! So while standing in line with our hands full of expensive snacks (water $3.50) a light popped on in my head that it would be about the same price to go to our room and get room service (quesadillas$12). Also the parking for hotel guests is normally $19 to self park which is crazy! Good luck getting in and out of the parking garage if you self park because both days of my stay they had one way in and one way out open. It was a cluster! Not that I would let Valet drivers drive my car but if you want to it will set you back $29 a day. The rooms are just normal hotel rooms nothing fancy! The atrium is really cool but the pictures online make it look nicer. It is kind of like being catfished lol! The Embassy suites its half the price and the rooms are twice the size and they have a indoor pool also. You can get a free breakfast buffet and free happy hour. I don't have a problem paying this kind of money for luxury but this was just a nice place nothing special. Also the can't spell buses lol they have a huge sign out front for buses and they have it spelled like this (busses).

Great resort and location. Good restaurants and very friendly staff. Had some issues with Wi-Fi and speed is not as desired. Parking is very expensive. Resort charges and parking add 20% to your hotel bill. Why don't they build in the rate, it is a little misleading.

This resort is absolute beautiful. I was blown away by the sheer size of it and the helpfulness of the staff. There is a lot to see and do. The Riverwalk Cantina serves up some of the best meals. All the restaurants serve high class meals at very affordable prices.

My wife and I had brunch at the Riverwalk Cafe and it was very good as always. The food was good and plentiful. My only disappointment was with the wait staff who, while numerous, seemed preoccupied with chatting with each other. I know it's a nit but I expect my water glass, and here my orange juice glass, to be refilled when I return from the buffet rather than having to hail a waiter. I'll go again, and again ☺

Awesome resort! Truly everything you could need in one area. Love the over-the-top Texas ambiance. Great place for romantic getaway or family vacation. I stayed for work, but it didn't feel like work at all!

It's like a small world with almost everything in it. You won't even feel the need to get out of the resort. The in-house restaurant food is amazing (esp Fajita from Riverwalk Cantina). The in-house bars also have happy hour to enjoy cheap drinks. I visited during early Jan and the Christmas decorations was beautiful.

I've seen other reviewers complaining about the price and fees at the Gaylord… what do you expect at a nice hotel? This is all par for the course at a nicer resort. It's not a place to go if you're expecting bargains. The atrium is really very impressive. Whether decorated for Christmas or just an average weeknight, it's nice just to take a walk through the paths cutting through the atrium. I've found the service to be very polite and professional. Rooms are very nice, but not over the top. Try and get an Atrium view room if you can.

It was so cute and I loved the ice and as did Santa Claus and animals.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious.
