Our leadership team came here for a planning sessions, the facilities we're very clean and elegant. This is definitely the upscale area of the San Antonio hill country. Cons, the parking is not ideal. Your either paying for valet or you're hiking.

The hotel is in a great location next to La Canterra and the rim. The area around the hotel is fantastic as well. The restaurants and shops nearby are nice. The room was fantastic. It had a great shower and bed, and tons of good pillows. I wasn't able to check out all the amenities of the hotel, but the restaurant downstairs was great. The entire hotel has a great upscale feel with marble and hardwood. I will absolutely return to check out the spa and virtual golf.

Loved it! The Eilan Hotel and Spa is absolutely beautiful. The staff are helpful and kind, as well as efficient. Looking forward to my next trip back.

Overall we were very pleased with the room, and staff. But the issue is parking. Nothing is covered (including valet) so your car bakes in the Texas sun (104 degrees when we stayed). The self parking lot is a 5 minute walk in the sun. There's a golf cart that comes around every once in a while, but you end up standing (in the sun) waiting for it, if you're not willing to walk the 5 minutes up the hill. How did they not take this into account when they built this "resort"?

Super kid friendly, staff is very friendly. They were happy to answer any questions we had an and assist our needs. The rooms are clean With more than enough space. The pool was probably the best part. We will definitely be returning!

Elian really isn't a place where, "My family and kids will love it. " It's a place set up for a romantic getaway with your spouse or lover. If you only just go for the weekend for the pool area alone, you will be happy. There are some really good restaurants in the complex and a good quiet bar. If you are wanting to experience authentic San Antonio, you would be better off at a Riverwalk hotel, but for a lover's getaway, this place is perfect.

Don’t stay here – they can’t seem to get anything right. The first disappointment for us was entering a room that was described as “deluxe” that only fit a bed and a small armchair in the corner with a dresser, a desk and two nightstands. There was no room to do anything but walk between these furniture pieces. I paid extra to get the “deluxe” room because we were a family of 4, I understood we were getting a larger room and the photo of the room type included a full loveseat. When we got to our room, I called the front desk to voice this concern and was simply told “that’s the right room type. ” We remained in that room, despite the stains on the rug that caused us to keep our socks on the entire stay. Later that day I needed a microwave and called down to ask for one to be sent to the room. As a frequent business traveler, I have never stayed at a hotel where there wasn’t a microwave in the room or one that could be brought up by maintenance at the guest’s request. I was told that there were none for the rooms but I was welcome to use the one behind the front desk. I had to make my way downstairs and then was escorted into the employee breakroom to use their microwave. Felt very uncomfortable using the microwave discomfort in a room where I didn’t really feel I was even authorized in be in. In the evening we were hungry for some late night snacks to find that there was no pantry and no vending machines.

This hotel was gorgeous. Every view from every level was breathtaking. The building, pool and amenities were a five star experience. Best stay guaranteed.

What a great place! My wife and I staid here for a weekend visit and never left the property. The service was impeccable and the bonus offerings — free appetizers, breakfast pastries, etc were unexpected. The spa was pricey, but a good experience, and the Sunday brunch was a spread that rivalved a feast prepared for a Roman feast.

Why must you make the power outlets and light switches so difficult to use I shouldn't have to unplug lamps to turn them off or try 4 different outlet before my phones charger works. Whatever you are trying with the multiple master switches by the door is simply not working. I'm for business, the fact that my phone doesn't charged when plugged in far outweighs whatever convenience you think comes from the enigma master switches. Bar and bartender downstairs are great though, only reason I'm giving stars.

We went to eat at Piatti and everything my group and I had was delicious! From the bread and olive oil to start to the Grilled Chicken under a brick, finished with table smores! I would definitely eat there again and recommend it to anyone who loves Italian food.

Yet another beautiful addition to the Autograph Collection of hotels and Spas! The Eilan is nestled in to the heart of San Antonio, in a beautiful shopping center. The first experience is with an incredibly helpful staff while checking in (Marriott Rewards members are treated with additional amenities and upgrades). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and their rooms are what you would expect from a 4-star hotel, comfortable beds, spacious living areas and pleasing decor. The on-site restaurants and bars offer an exquisite selection of food and wine. The lobby includes comfortable seating and meeting areas complete with a fireplace, and there are three floors, complete with balcony seating, where your party can meet and relax. Will definitely be staying here again and again.

This was a very nice hotel at a good price. The rooms had a luxurious feel that you don't normally find at this price point ($180, though that might be an off season price). Double sinks in the bathroom, separate room for the toilet, high ceilings, and a bed that my wife (who doesn't like many beds) said was perfect. A cool building, nice amenities, and close to fiesta Texas, shopping, golf, and UTSA. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. If you golf, check out the public Cedar Creek course nearby — — was only $30 to walk on a Saturday and is a very cool and unique layout, especially for the price.

Elegant property with lush rooms and top tier service from staff and valets. I'd like to stay here every time I come to San Antonio. Our room was huge with a modern bathroom that you would see on flip or flop. Don't forget to get your free pastry and gelato along with some virtual golf and a swim in the lap pool.

This is a wonderful hotel with great service and ambiance. They took superb care of my husband and me on 4 separate occasions. Good value for the money and personalized service. This is the only place we stay in San Antonio.

Word of mouth got me really excited, but I was a little let down. Its a nice hotel very pretty to walk around the grounds. Don't get too excited and you won't be disappointed. I attended a conference here. Not sure if the food provided was their usual hotel offerings, but it wasn't good. Parking here is a nightmare. Sustenio restaurant was very enjoyable though!

Absolutely amazing! This hotel is gorgeous in every way. Spacious rooms. Texas hospitality at its finest. Great location, excellent service.

For such a beautiful and well designed European-esque structure, it's a yes for me! BUT as far as their spa facility goes, it's just so-so. The ease of scheduling my spa appointment and confirming the day before was nice. Also nice free valet service for Spa customers. My massage therapist, was superb! The rest were not above and beyond to me. Having been to other spa places this place is below average. The spa description on the website and even the person I spoke with said there would be snacks and hot tea, they only served hot tea, I was excited for the snacks. Place was sanitary and organized, loved the showers but I didn't like that the pool and jacuzzi were 4 floors down. The pool and jacuzzi area was dirty. I didn't see employees around to let them know. There were cigarette butts and ashes near the jacuzzi and used tissues on the chairs by the pool. No towels available either. It wasn't crowded and it was early in the morning so I'm not sure why it was unkempt. It was not presentable for such a high end hotel and it dampened my spa experience. Come on Eilan, I know you can do better!

Absolutely gorgeous. From the pools to the architecture to the carved out granite surrounding the property, this place is amazing. I'm shocked that we had the place almost entirely to ourselves. We went with our two kids and took advantage of a great kiddie pool with water jets and the shuttle to six flags (glorified SUV). Staff was wonderful and I would love to stay at this beaut again.

My husband and I visited a friend for drinks and dinner at the hotel, and it was beautiful! The employees were genuinely nice, and the facilities were spectacular. The music in the lobby was calm and welcoming, and the lobby lights were turned low at night so it wasn't so bright. The parking lot is a bit of a walk away so they offer a shuttle service. When we got there in the evening, we were shuttled in a black fancy SUV, and when we left later that night we rode back in a golf cart. Our friend paid extra for an amenities card, which gave 2 free bottles of water in the room daily, and free appetizer, and free gelato, and access to virtual golf. There are even TVs built into the mirrors, and the spa looked like a great place to sit back and relax. You're definitely getting quality at the Eilan!

The experience started out with a complimentary ride in a black suv from the parking lot to the main entrance. The driver very nice and friendly. Walking into the hotel I was greeted with a smile and felt extremely welcomed even though I was just visiting a guest for dinner. The lobby was beautiful and warm. The lighting was perfect and the decor fit nicely. I truly felt like I was walking through luxury. Our friends room (more like an apartment) was gorgeous. The rooms were nicely furnished with much attention given to the details. The food, drinks, and service in the downstairs restaurant was perfect as expected. I can't wait to stay there myself!

Amazing experience! To spend a day at 6-flags Fiesta Texas and hace to drive to Austin, we decided We to spend 2 nights here. I wish we stayed for more. The rooms are spacious, some with great balconies and a wonderful view. The hotel is HUGE. There are 2 pools, my kid played in the one outside and loved it. The signature massage — just raised the bar to all the massages I get from this point on. I love massages, and this hit the knot right on the head. It comes with high towels wrapped around your feet. Hot pillow on your shoulders, aroma therapy (couple of times through the hour long massage) and the grand final with hot stones.

Ate at the restaurant. Nice bar, good high end design, but not so fancy you needed to be in a suit. Food was unique culinary design with a fancy touch to it. Had appetizers and jumped to desert. Stout cake desert had a lot going on (popcorn ice-cream was best part). The waitress recommend the butterscotch pudding with salted caramel had that too and it was great. Only downside was the glass ware was hazed with hard water stains and table sat at had crumbs on seat and floor around table.

Good option to rest, eat and hang out in San Antonio.
Exclusive and enjoyable.

Brunch at Sustenio. The buffet food was ok, it was just too basic, desserts were the best I've ever had and the omelets were delicious, but the rest of the food was simply not veey good for the quality of this place. The waiting service was the problem, the waiter just disappeared for almost the entirety of our meal and it became a bad experience because of that. Basically they charge way too much for what they do.

Went to a wedding here and was blown away by how pretty the hotel was. The staff seemed to be pretty helpful. Only complaint is that the parking lot is a far walk from the hotel, for those who don't feel like using the valet.

Beautiful room and hotel. The hotel is new. The service was friendly and attention to detail was superb. I would recommend this to anyone. They have a lap pool and a separate outdoor pool. Virtual golf course and a good resturant. The rail track for the trolley makes it feel like a Disney resort. Other restuarants in the eilan "village" include an Itailian, Japanese, and steak restuarants.

The rooms were nice and spacious. The pool was gorgeous. The only problem was the parking lot was really far away and calling the golf cart was kind of a waste of time. Other than that the hotel was definitely a 5 star experience.

Frindly and processional staff. Service was great, atmosphere even better. Very central and convenient location, right next to la cantera shopping district and the rim.

I went to the elian hotel for my senior prom and the location was beatiful it was like a small village located in a fairytale book. The salon was small but good enough for all of us to fit. And outside it was perfect for pictures.

We had dinner in the restaurant (Sustenio) and it never dissapoints. Highly recommended for a nice date night.

I was there for a celebration held on just one night. The grounds are beautiful and make it look like a little city. It is a calming atmosphere with many picturesque views to take in. Plenty of things to do and see there.

Palio Hall was clean and organized. Wi-Fi was over loaded but functional. Overall good.

Nice place! Seemed really expensive to live there, but had really nice facilities for living and having an event.

Very nicely setup rooms. Classy and comfortable with a nice layout and great amenities. Check in took a while because only one desk agent was working. And unless you want to drive, you're pretty much limited to the hotel restaurants.

Beautiful room, clean and comfortable. We ate at Ruth Chris steakhouse, then drinks at George Keep all on property. Can't wait to go back. We live 10 minutes away.

Had dinner at Sustenio and it was amazing. The staff was very attentive, the restaurant was very modern and seating was comfortable. The food was delicious and each course varied in textures and flavors.
