This hotel had five cars get broken into including ours whenever we stayed here this past week.
They really need to hire security for their parking lot. Two nights in a row SUV’s were broken into.
Although the front desk workers are nice, the rooms are paper thin so you hear every noise as well.

Spacious, comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming!

2nd night in a row that my company's property was stolen at this location. First night a generator off our work trailer. The next night, they stole the whole truck. Front desk doesnt care, General Manager wouldnt even get on the phone, out of bed or cooperate whatsoever to help pull up security footage. Told us they would deal with it the next day. My livelihood cant wait until the next day. Pathetic.
Is this really how much you care about your customers? We've spent thousands of dollars at this location and our personal property isnt remotely important to them.

The suite was perfect for my family. Even during the Covid pandemic, they accommodated us with breakfast and even allowed allotted time at the swimming pool.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there were inconsistencies from the lobby staff that could not be ignored. First, the swimming pool hours were subject to interpretation. The printed hotel guide said the pool said the pool closed at 11 pm. Signage stated 10 pm, along with most of the lobby staff confirming that time. However, Lupe at the front desk said 8 pm. Cleaning service hours also varied, depending on who you asked. Three different front desk attendants gave three different end times for cleaning service, ranging from 3 pm to 5 pm. The result was that we didn’t get our room cleaned until the 2nd day of our visit, because we rested the first day and didn’t go out until 5 pm. Nice place to stay, and very pet friendly, but the staff needs to work on consistency.

I have never met a more rude staff regarding breakfast policy. They stop restocking well before the cutoff so there is very little to eat and literally to the minute they shut the curtain and cut you off from eating their very mediocre breakfast. Juice for the kids, nope it is 1 minute after so get water from the fitness area. Christmas break I get they don’t want to be working there but seriously it is Christmas and guests should be treated nicely everyday. Instead they literally place a big guy at the curtain to scare you off from trying to grab a piece of bread 2 minutes after cutoff. Not acceptable at all. It doesn’t take much to make an experience exceptional—kindness and maybe a smile or two, but they are actively working to spoil vacations with their glaring and rudeness. BTW I am pretty easy to please because I didn’t complain that there were blood stains on the sheets in one bed.

It's a nice enough hotel for extended stays… I just wish they had more separation between the living room/kitchen area and the bedroom… They have a sheet of fabric… Kind of like how a hospital separates the beds of their patients… Just a sheet… And that seems ridiculously cheap to me… It doesn't say luxurious accommodation to me like Hilton is known for… Granted I can see how at times it would be nice to be able to give yours more square footage or floor space and stretch out, and that having a sheet would make that doubling your floor space much easier… But it would be a very rare instance if you ask me due to the norm of having actual walls… I dunno, I literally chose to not stay here based on that alone, but maybe that doesn't both you… I just knew that I wouldn't be able to get it out of my head that if they took the cheapest option for that, then where else did they cut corners?

I was attending training at Ft Sam for two weeks and stayed at this hotel. Overall my experience has been pleasant. Breakfast is more than sufficient, rooms are clean. Pool and gym are clean and well kept. The only suggestion would be to improve cleaning outside of the rooms. Common areas and hallways tend to need some vacuuming and attention. Would recommend.

Great location relative to SAT airport. Room was spacious and accommodating with full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and sink in kitchenette. The bathroom was a little cramped with a variety of others' hairs still in the floor. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well and the beds were comfortable. The walls are thin, so be warned. Kids were running up and down the halls and slamming doors on up until midnight. The property is relatively new and withing a stone's throw of Logan's Roadhouse and Cracker Barrel. Walmart and gas station are within a tenth of a mile. You can be at the airport within 5 minutes of this property. As someone else stated, the breakfast is nothing more than institutional prison food, however, it's free.

The hotel it self was beautiful. Very spacious rooms. The walls and floors however were very thin. If there were loud guest, you definitely heard them. We were told our room was ready and given the keys. Got to room to find housekeeping sitting on the bed on the phone yelling at someone in Spanish. Ended up getting moved to a different floor. Had a total of 4 charges on my credit card from them. The cost for the hotel and incidental charges is understandable, but they continued to charge everyday I stayed. According to them, it was to be sure my card still worked throughout my stay. Even though they’d already charged me for the room as well as incidentals.

The service was good and the amenities in the room were excellent. It had a complete kitchen minus a stove, but there's a portable induction stove if you request it at the front desk. Breakfast was great on Friday with their pre-made options (like scrambled eggs with sausage, peppers and cheese) but just a regular continental breakfast with waffles the other days. The bathroom could use a little bit more cleansing since the toilet had some hard water stains and the location was great and real close to North Star Mall.

Very nice rooms. Cold AC! Breakfast needs improvement compared to other Hilton properties. Would stay again.

We checked in on Friday in 3 different rooms, the rooms are spacious, the staff was nice and friendly. But the smell in each room was unbearable! They allow pets, which isn’t a bad thing, however they should properly clean the rooms that house pets! It smelled like pee, there were stains on the carpet. We were a family of 14, trying to save. I guess you get what you pay for!

Room was clean and well maintained. Good ambiance with good amenities. Breakfast variety was not good, we stayed there for 3nights 4days and every day they were served same kind of food. Otherwise its good hotel.

It was ok I can’t complain about the room the only thing that made me not have a good experience is that both days I was there the pool was not working. On Friday they told me that the pool was closed but that it would reopen on Saturday (didn’t happen) they told me I could go to a different hotel and use that pool.

While traveling, I stopped at a Home 2 Suites in San Antonio, Texas because I planned on proposing to the woman I am in a relationship with who is currently in the Army conducting training in San Antonio. I identified a ring and planned to proposing at the Riverwalk. My check in dates were 1-June-2018 to 6-June-2018. On 3-June-2018, while downstairs typing documents pertaining to the deal in California, I overheard the front desk saying a guest in room 427 stated that someone was partaking in marijuana in the hotel building. The room that was assigned to me was room number 429. Ten minuets later, while still downstairs typing, the clerk came and accused me of smoking and said I needed to leave the property and they have all the evidence needed. My follow up statement was, “So currently, even though I am downstairs typing in front of you, I am also upstairs in room 429 partaking in cannabis? ” I asked the clerk at that moment, to show me the evidence, she could not produce any and denied to show any. I asked them to come upstairs and show me what they found and they were extremely reluctant. After informing them who I am, they finally agreed to go upstairs with me. When we reached my room, I let the two employees enter the room and they did not find anything! I immediately called corporate to file a complaint. While on the phone with the corporate office, I notice the hotel assign room number 427 to another guest and the guest beat us upstairs.

Great room. Very spacious for my family of five. Beds were comfortable and clean. My only complaint was that the front desk was not great. Got my reservations mixed up and far is some stress. Also, breakfast was very average.

This is my first time and Home2 Suites. I've been a Hilton member for many years and never stayed in one of these units. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of selections. Staff was extremely kind and welcoming. The parking lot was a tad difficult to get into when using Google Map. But we made it! This unit shares a city block with a couple of restaurants.

Not very good housekeeping. Still the rooms have full kitchen and refrigerator which makes it possible to improve your breakfast.

No suites. Only studio room. Microwave only, no stove. Breakfast is horrible. Fix your own style. No kitchen, no cook to order, wheat bread and boiled eggs. Stay down the street at Embassy or Hilton is better for the money.

I like the home 2 suites because they have a nice lay out for their king suites. I have never used the refrigerator or the kitchen but I like all the counter space. It has a cool modern look. The exercise room is well thought out. The only thing I don't like is the breakfast… the idea of microwaving frozen food kind of sucks. It is either frozen or too hot.

Beds were comfy Hotel was clean breakfast was pretty good and service was very attentive.

Good friendly service. Accommodating. I'm allergic to alot of stuff and it is easier for me to cook for my self. They don't have stoves like I thought. They give you an induction hot plate. The problem is the pan they give you. It's tiny Other than that it's a good hotel clean and new.

Super comfortable beds and very spacious rooms. Lost a star for the food in the morning… Not a place to get breakfast.

Stayed here for a work conference and enjoyed it very much. Great friendly staff and room was clean and comfortable.

The rooms were very ckean, spacious, and had everything I needed for my 4 day stay! Very ECO friendly. The breakfast had a variety to choose from. Staff was very friendly. Just minutes from the airport, and plenty of restaurants and stores within 1 mile. Great experience here!

The hotel was clean. The breakfast area was kept clean which is a change. The staff was friendly and it was conveniently located to all of the major freeways restaurants nightlife Convention Center sporting events airport at cetera.

VERY clean room, excellent room accommodations and a comfortable bed. 4/5 because they do not have the infrastructure to support the amount of guests for breakfast each morning. Also, the options are quite limited. I would absolutely stay here again however, pretty central location to everything around San Antonio… it is next to the airport after all (less than a minute! ).

I liked the place but I had gotten a call from someone at the hotel about my reservation being cancelled because my card did not go through. I had gotten it stolen the night before and had reported it stolen. So I understand but I got a phone call from the hotel and I was not home and I did not answer it and the person that was on the phone was very rude and said that I had to call back within 2 minutes because she was leaving or was going to be cancelled do not give me any time to call back but thank God my daughter was able to call me back real quick and I was able to call her back. Then after waiting 15 minutes and being transferred for time I was able to give my new debit card number so that they would hold the room. I understand the situation but the hotel was very slow they did not have any business and there's no reason why they would have to cancel my reservation to be able to give it to someone else. And the point was the lady was very rude and I wish I would have gotten her name.

Stayed here during our visit to SeaWorld. Nice ambience and spacious rooms with all amenities. They do have a wide range of breakfast options, which was the main chois for me to book here. Staffs are well courteous and good. Really loved the place and is so secure.

I was tremendously pleased with my stay. The room was very clean and the staff at the front desk were awesome. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff was extremely rude, starting with the phone call for the shuttle. When I finally got in the building around 1:30 in the morning due to a delayed flight, she practically tossed the key at me and could not have made it more clear that she would not be bothered with the inconvenience of providing the smallest amount of customer service. But the top reason I will not stay here again is the construction. Check out the floor plan. There are no load-bearing supports, so the floors/ceilings are cast concrete on steel joists that span the width of the room. Every step taken on the floor above is a thump echoed throughout your room. I thought that I would sleep in, but the child staying in the room above mine woke me up around 6:45, jumping off the bed right above me with a bang and running laps back and forth across the length of the room. Over and over. I literally came out of a dream where the obnoxious noise was happening only to slowly come to the realization that I was in fact being ejected from my slumber by the actual kettle-drum pitter patter of the offender. I’m not complaining about children, every step taken by an adult reverberates throughout the room like a hippo waltzing with an elephant. To cap that off, a German shepherd-sized canine began barking somewhere in the hotel after I assume he was left alone when his master went downstairs to sample the gas station dollar menu quality breakfast.

Very nice place to stay for extended periods of time. Complete kitchenette, nice pool and workout area, as well. Good breakfast, friendly staff, and fairly priced.

Great price for what you get next to the North Star Mall. And good bars and restaurants. With in walking distance. Dough pizza. Across the street. Or the rock and roll bar next to the egg and I or the English Pub next door for fish n chips if you are in San Antonio, for bissiness this one is great look on line sites for last minute deals. Or book through the website fo r your points.

Geneve on the morning shift was awesome. Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. All of the staff were great but she was exceptional! The rooms were excellent, the breakfast choices were delicous.

Enjoyed the lay out of the room. Very cozy and comfortable. You forget you are in a hotel room.

The hotel was nice. My truck along with seven other vehicles were broken in to within 48 hours of each other. I confronted the management about the situation they were very unwilling to offer any thing. All they said is IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM. Security cameras only point in directions of the entrances. Please do your self and favor and save money dontstay here.

Do NOT I repeat do Not stay here! My family has been here for two nights, and our car along with two others have broken into within a twenty four hour period. The manager was very rude to us first saying that there was nothing they could do for us. We asked if they could comp our room, and she told us there was nothing she could do; they don't do that. She also said that we should not have left anything in the car. Which we did not leave anything in the car. She also told us that they had a problem with break ins, and then right after saying that retracted her statement saying that it never happens? Just letting other people know that if they want to stay in a safe area this is not the place! Also, the Manager would not even give us a contact number to sort this out. Very disappointing!

The staff are friendly and always willing to help correct mistakes in short times notice if you work with sales team through the entire process from booking to exit review. They are also willing to show you what you will be buying by giving serious bookers a tour. The facilities are clean and I did not find dust… Which is strange cause all hotels have it bad. The rooms specifically the double queen suite is spacious and bigger then I thought. They are also green and it's a great place to stay and contribute to if you are environmentally friendly. Overall this is a hotel better then those across the street or the double tree Hilton chain but then again it depends on what you are looking for.

Overall the hotel is clean. The pillows are bulky and hard. They provide breakfast every morning, but not sure what they offer as I did not take advantage of this amenity. Convenient location has restaurants all around it. Rooms are quiet and each room has bed with sofabed and a separation curtain. They do not have conditioner or lotion in the rooms. They now have shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower. Rooms are not updated to accept USB connections. Be sure to bring your wall plug adapters.

Everything was just great room was awesome, but just a little out dated as far as not having USB hub in the outlets and outlets take forever to charge. No dish washing soap either. But for the most part great stay.

Very well furnished and modern. I loved the standup shower and the fact I had 2 thermostats as well. The full size fridge was great and bathroom had access from both rooms. Will look at Home2 more often.

Awesome service, no problems. Group of 42 enjoyed it all, breakfast would have been nicer of they kept replenishing the egg bagels. Other than that amazing!

Great room for the price. Awesome kitchen. Good breakfast, but breakfast area is way too small for all guests, so it was overcrowded.

Loved our stay. Room was great, pool was even better. Will stay again. Breakfast was the slight disappointment.

I was in San Antonio for a conference for teachers. I was not familiar with the area so My group and chose to stay at this hotel because of the trusted Hilton name. We were so pleased when we arrived because the cleanliness and design was awesome. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Our issue came with the training and knowledge of the staff working the front desk. We had certain procedures that needed to be done in order to get reimbursed for our travel. It was a hassle to get help from management as employee said she couldn't be reached. The rooms were not reserved as we requested and the receipts were a challenge. We are not sure they were even done correctly but we are praying they were so we get our money for our travel. As educators we believe in continuing to learn so this is an issue that can be fixed. However, customer service and attitude are a bit harder to teach. Please work with your managers to train their employees so that future customers can leave knowing they were taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to families but caution anyone who needs receipts for expense statements.

Each time we have stayed here the hotel has been very clean and the staff is friendly. It's in a good location that is walker friendly. It's within five minute of the North Star Mall, great restaurants, and WalMart. The room is also a nice size for our family of five.

I loved the space that the rooms ofreson compared to the amount of money that page. The Pool This father, but it has a lot of chlorine. Very Rich Breakfast.

The service was ok in that they didn't always have enough towels and the like for our family of seven, but they were polite and courteous otherwise. The rooms were nice and everything seemed like it was well taken care of.

Home 2 is a great place for extended stays. I choose it because it was close to the business I was in town for, but enjoyed the small differences to the norm. Large fridge, kitchen sink and dishes provided, liquid soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower, no bath but that is not my style anyway. Great staff as well. Overall a great experience.

Very nice and modern, haven't seen anything like it before. Loved the room space and shower did not flood up due to a clog drain, big plus! Breakfast could be better not much choices l.

I Travel (Road Trip) A Lot With My Girls. I've Been To San Antonio 3 Times Now. My first two times I stayed in other hotels in the area (La'Quinta) (Embassy Suites) (Comfort Inn) & This has to be one of my favorites. Affordable & Comfortable. I wish I would have found this one before I tried any of them. Lol, I will definitely stay here when I visit again.

This hotel is amazing! The price is unbeatable for what you get. We came down for the Stock Show and these beds are the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Each room has a kitchen and super nice amenities in the room. Easy access to food and even a Walmart close by if you have to make a run for items you forgot. Chris at the front desk was very helpful as well and even remembered me from when I made the reservation.

Room is huge, clean, and reasonably priced. Location is great, with lots of things within walking distance. Breakfast bar is well stocked and maintained, and the pool is saline, which is great.

Kitchen in the room is nice, staff is helpful, free breakfast is tasty, and the onsite gym is an added benefit. I do wish there were some more takeout options nearby, but can't fault the hotel for that.

I love the hotel room always clean, but one problem I have is the house keepers don't speak a lick of English I mean none of them I try to explain to one housekeeper on what I was trying to tell the other & she didn't understand the manager over housekeeping wasn't no better I enjoyed my stay! But communication is everything!

This is my first stay at this hotel. I'm pretty impressed. The rooms are large and clean. The rooms have a nice kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, dishes and a dishwasher. The customer service has been great and the rooms quiet.

The room was excellent. One issue we found was a large amount of dust on top of the fridge. We could also hear guests in other rooms beside and above us. Which made it very difficult to try and get some sleep. We had to leave the hotel at 4:30am for a very early flight. The room is very spacious and comes with a well equipped kitchen.

Wonderful experience, clean modern hotel. Great hospitality and great price.

Service excelled, upon my arrival, till my departure the service and staff was perfect. The housekeeping is what impressed me the most, my room was always clean and my towels and sheets were replaced daily. Even if it wasn't necessary (that was excellent). The front desk personnel welcomed me in a professional manner and was always ready to help me with any question I has. 5 stars is the rating I give but believe The Home 2 Suite deserve 10 stars easily. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to enjoy their stay in San Antonio. If I had to choose a negative thing to say it would be that the weather didn't quite cooperate with my plans, but that would not be against the hotel or staff. Can't wait for my next trip to San Antonio, and this hotel is definitely one that I will book again. Thanks for the perfect stay.

Nice, clran hotel conveniently located near the airport. Rooms are nice with a kitchenette, desk/work area and sitting area with small couch. Bed, sheets and pillow are very comfortable. Will stay here again when in the area.

Clean, modern and well equipped. Newer property with comfy beds and convenient access to 410 loop. Will stay again when I'm back in SA.

The rooms are nice and decently equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. The furniture and facilities are pretty-much as you'd expect. The breakfast isn't bad, although the sandwiches aren't very good. The people at the front desk have been excellent and really helpful, which is the saving grace of the review. They gave me a towel when I came in from a rainstorm, and didn't make fun of me when I left my keys in my room by accident. The biggest problem is the Internet access, which will make you feel nostalgic for the days when a T1 was considered kickin' rad. You can pay 5$/day for the premium access, but if you're at the Home2 Suites it's probably because you'll be there for a while, and that 5$ can add up. It seems petty, but really, you shouldn't have to pay for usable Internet access. If you don't care about Internet access, then I would recommend the Home2 Suites. If you're going to be doing any kind of work that involves a computer, I would avoid it. It'll just be frustrating, and you shouldn't have to dink around with mobile hotspots to work around the lack of a basic service that every hotel since 2008 should provide.

The room is nice. The "free high-speed internet" is lacking in the high speed part. Fails the FCC's minimum definition of basic broadband. 445Kbps with the FCC speed test app. ~56KBps. ~0.054MBps.

Attention is dreadful pedi a pillow and told me to go for it to walmart.
