We stayed in Amarillo TX our room was very clean they. Charged an extra $20 non refundable for our puppy, had a good hot breakfast, and was conveniently located just off I40 we had a 26 enclosed trailer and that was perfect and the hotel had lots of Rv or trailer parking.

Everything! nobody should stay here unless they want their car broken into. Look at all the reviews that have had this same problems. Either employees don't care about it or are a part of it. Stay away!

Loved our stay! Gorgeous big hot tub, compared to others, friendly staff, and quiet and updated.

I love this hotel and staff. So friendly and helpful. We stay here everytime we travel in this area. Plus it's fun to watch the prairie dogs.

The furniture was worn out. If you sat you couldn’t get up. Bath tub stopper gone as was remote back. Very noisy. Beds were good.

We’ve stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites, Amarillo Texas, many times and appreciate the friendly staff and great location.

Great place to stay at. Great breakfast. Good front desk personnel. The bed was very comfortable and clean. It was a little hard getting into to because of the construction.

I've been to this hotel in Amarillo on several occasions. I fully expect that I'll return in the future. The front desk person was very helpful. I was speaking to reservations people on the 800 number and was not making headway. The desk person took charge and remedied the situation. I've always had clean spacious rooms and this time is no exception.

Very friendly quick check in we had drove 15 hours today and they got us in our rooms in less than 10 min. They accepted our dogs with open arms. Big beautiful spacious rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. It is am older property, but not bad for the price only complaint was the AC in the room was not working properly. There was a cold front that hit that night so the room was a comfortable temp. We told the staff the next morning and they immediately called to have it fixed.

We stay at this hotel almost yearly and we keep coming back! Great hotel, friendly staff, nice pool, comfy and the breakfast is great! They're quietly renovating right now but we really didnt notice at all!

Great price, great free hot breakfast. Grace, At the front counter was very helpful and very nice. J greedy this with a smile and worked quickly to get us to our rooms. The rooms were very clean and neat.

Staff was rude and did not care for their customers. No soap in the womens bathrooms ever after being told. Keys do not worl for the room you are given. Overall very poor experience.

This hotel is in desperate need of updating. Have stayed at many hotels where the breakfast was excellent but not this one. Had a king room which was extremely small. Also had a Queen Suite. Problems in suite was broken windows which had not been replaced — they used tape on them, which was dangerous since I had my 3 year old grandson with me. Sticky stain on the floor which we told them about but no one came to clean it. The fridge was extremely warm when we got there. Had the maintenance man come see about it since the fridge did not have a working temperature adjuster on it. Put food in and then next morning everything was frozen. Canned pop busted. Furniture was old and not comfortable. We had reserved for 2 nights so we paid a pretty penny. Worst hotel I have stayed at.

The Front desk lady Jennifer is very sweet and nice she was very friendly and made our experience very fun hotel is really cool looking from the outside and the inside I would go back. Rooms were clean too.

As a late check in. It was awesome going thru the front entrance clean beautifully decorated lobby the room was amazing everything you expect and more. All thru the hotel was very nice the pool area awesome.

Better hope you don't need to stay here if you live here! They do NOT accept guests with a local address. Our daughter wanted to spend a night with her mother and grandmother, for her mom's birthday, away from the house… with a pool. They refused her Expedia reservation. "They don't accept anyone with a local address. " This is less than two years after we stayed here for the same reason. I hope your house doesn't burn down, you can't stay here! Bad form, CI&S!

Rooms are nice but small. Very nice outside Free breskfast is the typical free breakfast. The views are of construction all around. Be sure to go west past the intersection and turn right on first street. You cannot turn left off 335 as it is blocked by construction and traffic lines up for miles. I will refer to this as "Prairie Dog" inn as the back of the hotel has many of them. They arent bothersome and are fun to watch.

The nicest Comfort Inn I've ever had the pleasure to stay at and I've stayed at quite a few. Every time I visit Amarillo I plan to stay here. Recently remodeled beautiful building with clean and spacious rooms! The staff definitively displayed that legendary Southern hospitality!

Aahhhmazingly comfortable beds! And the price is right, too. Just down the service road from The Big Texan Steakhouse in Amarillo, Tx.

This the 3rd time in the 2 years that I have stayed at a Comfort Inn and Suites and all 3 times it was a fabulous experience. Very clean spacious rooms, staff was professional, beds were comfortable, lots of nice amenities (Hot tub, pool, microwaves, refrigerators, etc. ). Breakfast was hot with a large variety of foods. Will be staying here again.

Great location, convenient and comfortable. Only knock is the eggs at breakfast were a little watery. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Clean, quiet, standard breakfast. A little hard to see turnoff to motel at night. Overall a good experience tho. We would stay there again.

It was a great place. Good location and there was some places to eat close by. Had some amazing Texas walffles. Front parking was a bit small but was made up with the large parking on the side for bigger trucks with trailers or even 18 wheelers to park in. Bad if you smoke or have pets.

Clean, new, quiet, and right off the interstate! I always stay here when traveling through Amarillo! Great breakfast too!

Very clean. Breakfast was nothing spectacular, but still good. Beds were very firm, but I like that. The temperature in the room, however, was very hard to manage. It was either freezing cold or boiling hot in the room.

Night staff was not super friendly not helpful. But they had a nice indoor pool and room was clean loved the bathtub. And yes would stay again with my family.

Read. Got our truck broken into here last night and stole just about everything, they have no cameras or anything for us. Not safe area!

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. The carpet was gross, elevator was out of service, our toilet would not flush, the room and furnishings were uncomfortable, vending machine drink was warm. The only positive thing I have to say is that I was unable to hear any outside noise over the sound of the A/C.

Real nice rooms are real nice but my buddy that im traveling with got his truck broken into they busted his wndow out and low and behold the motel does not have cameras in the parking lot so I have to only give it 2 stars.

Very nice, clean place. Good beds. Not so good water pressure. But it got the job done. Front host was nowhere to be found. A small line developed behind us. She comes smelling of cigarettes. Apologized for the wait and offered us a suite for the same price. Breakfast ends at 9; so no sleeping in at this place!

The location was a little hard to get to due to road construction. The room was very nice and up to date. The breakfast bar was really good. It had a great sized pool and jacuzzi.

I was well pleased with the hospitality. I attended a meeting in the conference room. The staff was very nice and professional.

Comfortable and large rooms. The lobby is nice too. The showers don't have a lot of water pressure, and the shower heads are short. At night, the hotel from the outside looks dark and uninviting.

Would have given it a 0 star if that was an option. With great reviews online we decided to book a suite here for a wedding we were attending. Upon arrival a woman walked out of her room holding a can of Raid bedbug and roach spray reporting that there were 3 cans going off in her room. What?! We had just paid for our room so reluctantly went to check out our suite. Upon entering it smelled heavily of smoke and was dirty (bedding had bleach marks and sticky stuff on the bedding and walls). For a nonsmoking hotel, seems like previous guests have smoked and there was a cigarette burn in the pull out bed. After checking the beds ourselves for bedbugs, we decided we couldn't stay in this hotel given the above stated reasons. Luckily, we were refunded by the unwelcoming and grouchy front office staff. I would NOT recommend staying here. Yuuuuuuuck!

Nice room. All the usual stuff. Comfy bed, soft towels, decent breakfast. The night front desk staff could have been nicer though. We got into town a little late and called ahead to make sure our room was held (we've had that happen at other hotels) and the person on the phone was very short with me. "What do you want? Well, what's your name? " Just not a nice tone. I'd say maybe I was keeping her from something, which maybe she had things to do, but we were on the phone for a total of 28 seconds, so I think she could have spared that for a guest. If that didn't happen, I would have given five stars.

Great experience at the Comfort Inn. The room was clean, the hotel itself was nice, the staff was friendly and took great care of us. Breakfast had many options and was well stocked. The pool was great. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend it. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Check in was fast and easy. Rooms are very clean. We had a lovely, cool stay in the best place in earth: Amarillo. ♡

Great place to stay. If we do stay in Amarillo we like to stay here and suggest it to others. Breakfast is decent with good choices, rooms are clean and service is nice. The pool. Is great but can sometimes have too much chlorine in it. Bothered my eyes a bit. Not a whole lot of noise through the hotel which was very nice for our visits.

Booking person was not friendly or helpful. Receptionist (I think was the same person) was impersonal and not helpful at the time of check-in. The rest of our stay was just ok.

Great service! I booked my room through AAA, I received a confirmation from them for the king smokefree room I requested. When we got to the hotel they said itwas a smoking room. I said we would try it, because at that point I thought it was my error. Patricia, the sweetest front desk clerk, offered to move us if we wished, even after trying the room. When I checked my confirmation, it showed a smokefree room so I went to show her. She showed me where AAA booked it as a smoking. We did end up moving, and she was just so helpful and curteous! The room was clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

THEFT ALERT! I stayed at this hotel last night. The hotel itself was fine. I wanted to warn others who are considering staying here that my car was broken into in the parking lot, along with several other cars. The police officer who arrived to make the police report stated that cars get broken into all the time at this hotel. I'm aware that the hotel is not responsible and that I park at my own risk, but it would have been nice to have had some sort of warning. You would think that they would put in a security camera if this happens regularly. Also, the staff was not helpful. When I told the front desk what happened, the woman just stared at me blankly. No sympathy or concern or offer to help in any way. I am writing this review as a warning to others!

Very nice suite with 2 queen size beds in a separate room with a separate TV. Hideaway bed/couch, fridge, microwave coffee maker and all that, too. The hideaway bed had no blankets or pillows, though. A full breakfast was served but it tasted like hospital food. No amount of seasoning helped. But for the price and convenience of being close to everything I was in town for, I can't complain.
