We stayed here as a halfway point to Colorado. The hotel room was large and everything was clean. The mini fridge, air conditioner, TV all worked. All of the front desk personnel we encountered were more than accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was more than adequate. Overall it is the nicest hotel for the best price. Would definitely stay here again!

Simple rooms. No flair but clean. Can only tell some rooms are smoking from the hallway. TV setup had the power strip, cable box and TV mounted on the wall perfectly squared off and perfectly visible. Corporate needs to send them some new accessories.

We stayed here for one night. The front desk staff was wonderful. My husband was outside at night late trying to get the side panel of our door glued back on (lol). The lady working the front desk came outside to make sure he was supposed to be messing with that vehicle and that Nobody was attempting to break in the car. The room was very clean and beds Comfy for a short stay! The room did not smell bad or have any repair issues to my knowledge. No complaints at all!

Friendly staff. Quickly gave us a different room when our bathroom fan was making a screeching noise. Nicely decorated, clean, comfortable mattress. Room walls a bit thin so we could hear kids in next room stomping around late at night. Breakfast was good, free newspaper. Would definitely recommend and good value for the price.

Only negative when stating that it would cost a $100 more as a special deposit, that they give you back in the morning, they did not state that it had to be in cash, I informed them we were paying with credit card over the phone confirming reservation, so you have to go across the street to an ATM from Amarillo National Bank and withdraw cash if you are a local, because they have too many problems with us white trash, which we are not. Trip before that, online reservation, they didn't have it. So we paid extra for dog room and went from a Smoking to nonsmoking. With my back injury, I had to hobble in, and they then miraculously found a downstairs room for me and my 14 year old son and husband. Rooms are the same. Pool was OK. Jacuzzi was not hot enough but OK. Once you get a room, staff is friendly. Maid service honest and awesome!

I really enjoyed this place. My husband and I are on a cross-country trip, relocating with the Navy, and Amarillo was one of our stopping points. The rooms, and the hotel in general, was a bit tattered (worn carpet, etc. ), but it was extremely clean (I asked to use their kitchen so I could wash my blender cup, and it was SPOTLESS — given that no one is expected to see that part, it spoke well to the cleanliness of everything else). Our room had a sweet little bench in the window that I very much enjoyed sitting in, with the window open (HOORAY FOR WINDOWS), and watched the trees blow with the wind, and listened to the most fascinated birds. The hotel has a good amount of grass around it, which our two dogs were overjoyed to see as we had just driven through all of the deserts. It's in a pretty good location, although Amarillo seems to be doing some major infrastructure work. If you stay there, or anywhere in Amarillo, do be sure to get a burger at Coyote Bluff Cafe — it was all the noms… Any way, it was hands down my favorite hotel on this trip so far, and very fairly priced. It just had a happy vibe.

Great location, lots of restautrants/fast food in the immediate area. Easy access to I-40. Rooms were really nice, clean, and had fridges/microwaves. Would definitely stay again.

As a person traveling through and relying on online reviews and pictures to help make your decision, it's disappointing when you arrive to find that the pictures are not accurate and the reviews are conflicting. Don't be fooled by the fancy pictures and positive reviews. From our experience, this place was comparable to a Motel 6. The room was run down and dirty, comforters were old and frayed, bed and pillows weren't comfortable, the pool was moldy green so we couldn't go swimming, and there were shady people loitering in the parking lot. On our way back through Amarillo we paid more and stayed at Staybridge Suites a few miles away and the difference was like night and day.

Had a great 3 day stay here… Rooms were very clean. The staff was excellent and on time if we needed anything… Great job to all the employees.

This place was amazing for the price! Free Wi-Fi, very clean rooms, friendly staff, and a quiet environment. We stayed for 5 nights and the highlight of the day was coming back to the comfortable beds. The free breakfast is awesome too! It has staples like cereal and juice and coffee but also has sausage biscuits, yogurt, and Texas shaped waffles. I will definitely stay here again when we go back to Amarillo. The bellhop carts were also amazing for loading and unloading all of our luggage. This is the best budget hotel we've ever stayed in.

The outward appearance is rather nice and the direct access to both a major street and a smaller cross-street that provides access around the extensive construction are both a plus. The rooms were a bit small and the orange interior is a bit of an eyesore, thankfully you can't see it when it's dark. The staff was friendly and the prices acceptable and overall it was very clean. Wouldn't mind staying there again as it is one of the nicer places in town for the price.

Gave us smoking room when requested non smoking and the elevator was out and we had many items that great difficulty transporting. Hotel showed lots of signs of needing maintenance. Including ac which we could never get to work correctly.

Staff was nice. Room was clean so was the bathroom. Easy to navigate the place. Has an elevator, pool and breakfast area, which is slim pickins bit ya can't be too greedy with the savings on room prices. Neighbors in the room next to us were pretty loud and excited for whatever reason. The lighting in the room was really low too, so that could cause issues with multiple people and dark clothes or bags. Overall a good experience though.

My husband and I are traveling to Arizona and decided to stop in Amarillo for the night so I pulled up reviews to local hotels and this one seemed appeasing. We didn't want to go too inexpensive as we did want value but as the same time we wanted a decent place. After staying one night here, I don't understand why those reviews were so high. Our room was busted up and looked like it should be much cheaper than it was. You don't get the feel you generally would or should for spending $63. Overall, it just wasn't a great experience for our dollar. The breakfast was misleading and selection wasn't too good. Orange juice was out, waffle maker didn't have any non stick spray so you have to really dig your waffle out in several pieces. You'd be better off getting a $30 or $40 hotel before paying more than 63 plus dollars here. Definitely do not recommend.

Clean. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable beds. Except, aggressive housekeeping by banging on the doors at 8am, barging in through the door two hours later while I'm getting dressed, and telling me to leave at 11am. Yes, I overslept from getting in at 3am but I was trying to hurry and housekeeping wasn't making it easier to leave. Overall, great stay!

We drove to Wyoming and Amirillo was our half way mark so we booked this hotel for on our way up and on our way back. Well when we got there it was dark and we did not feel comfortable being out side. So we hurry to our room. Well we decided that on our way home we were gonna drive as far as we could do we called to cancel our booking… and this is where it went down hill they told my husband “they had NO record of a booking for us” okay cool. Then two days later we have $90.00 missing from our account and it was from this hotel! Well my husband calls and they tell him “ hmm sir I dont Know why it took the money out” “we still have no reservations showing for that night from your name” so here we are 2 weeks later and they still haven’t answered the claim from our bank!

The best thing about this place is the sweet gal at the front desk. The location is not bad, but was difficult to make a left turn out of the parking lot. The room was over priced for what you get. Which is stained toilet and stained curtains on the windows. The room looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70's.

Clean quiet hotel. We had to leave early before breakfast was ready but the night staff happily got out cereal and fruit for my kids and wanted to do more to make sure the kids were happy.

Large rooms, very few outlets in room, none were found by desk, appliances and bathroom were outdated. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had waffles, cereal assortment, and microwaveable sausage biscuits. Front desk person was very pleasant.

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, and breakfast included. The coffee was actually some of the best hotel coffee I've had. The pillows we're a bit tragic.

Friendly night staff. Very affordable. Offered a continental breakfast. But the toilet paper rolled under and not over. What are we barbarians? The beds we comfortable enough. And the comforter was slightly weighted which is always comforting. But im pretty sure the mirror above the beds was a one way mirror and someone watched me sleep from the other side all night long. Im sure glad did not bring my infrared red into the room. But in fairness that is every hotel/motel. A travel mate wanted to note that the shower was "pins and needles" strong. So, let your preferences be aware. But, be assured that there is good pressure. Another travel mate, who has some height to him, felt the shower was too low.

Clean but a bit run down. Included breakfast was pretty poor on selection and quality. They did have pretty fast and secure wireless internet and a full range of direct TV channels on a tiny 32" flat screen.

Excellent, overall, down home hospitality. Great room layout for work and leisure. Company has smart designers and engineers God bless you all. Love you texans, come and straighten out california. Don and carmen.

We had a very nice stay, the room was clean, bed was comfy, staff was helpful. i will definitely stay here again!

All the amenities you could ask off a hotel, but definitely the budget version. Couldn't even finish a glass of the orange juice. Bed was great though so it's hard to complain.

We booked a room here because the price online was one of the best in the areas. After paying taxes and fees the cost was the same as one of the bigger hotel chains. When we walked into the room we were blown away by rank smell and a full wall length mirror behind the bed. Had we been notified of the fees we would not have booked at this hotel. Fair warning very outdated.

Great location from the highway. Very clean accommodations. Staff was extremely nice and professional. The environment was quiet and beds were very comfortable. Carts available for luggage. Area around hotel to walk dogs. Close to gas stations and eating. The only negative was that my card was charged twice for the room and pet fee. However, I would stay here again!

It was so so, no eggs in breakfast, but waffle maker, but no butter, other than that rooms were clean, we got the smoking rooms with exhaust not working in bathroom, wasn't fun, any ways, it is what it is, rooms were clean, staff friendly.

Nice condition. Clean. Not fancy. Convenient to I-40. Rather small room for two large beds, but tolerable. Mini-fridge, microwave. No TV remote and couldn't find buttons — had to watch "wrasslin'" Free breakfast was normal stuff, but waffle maker didn't produce good results — maybe me.

Free breakfast, which is nice. Second floor and no elevator which was not great. Worst thing though was the place just smelled. Reminded me of mold, although my allergies didn't kick up, so probably wasn't. Stains on chairs, pillows, sheets, etc. Not terribly impressed.

Nice hotel but the neighbors were loud and were in and out all hours of the night.

The room was okay. Just many disturbing stains on the bed, shower curtain, and a few more here and there. I did my best to rinse out the bath because there were suspicious looking hairs in it. I was looking forward to the pool, because the pictures looked nice online. The first thing I noticed was how tiny it was. The pool water was murky and very unclear, and had floating debris. The hot tub was luke warm, and when I turned on the jets I thought I saw something in it. So I turned them off to see an unholy amount of hopefully dead spiders. Stuck my toe in then ran for the hills.

This place is so cool they have an indoor pool and a hot tub kids love it.

I wanted a night getaway and was told that they don't rent to people in Amarillo. Wt?

It was clean and beautiful. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It smelled amazing and the beds were so comfortable. Will come back every time I find myself in Amarillo.

The price was good. The staff was friendly and super helpful. This was the first handicapped room out of many on our trip where someone in a wheelchair could actually access the shower. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing but great to say.

The whole place has a musty smell. House keeping also ignores your do not disturb sign. For the money you can do better.

Would always make it in past midnight, no problems checking in quickly at that time. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice and quiet — except when the guy outside your window is sitting in his loud-idling diesel truck for 30 minutes, at 6AM. Nice place to crash on a cross country trip from Arizona. Would recommend.

Lack of communication regarding certain policies led to an additional amount of driving at very early time. Had information been disclosed, an informative decision could have been made Staff unaccommodating. And I'm pretty sure they're racist.

This hotel is great! Their breakfast is great and the rooms are compact and very clean. The pool is a little small, but it is in.

Good clean hotel but had a pee smell in room. Can hear people in other rooms. Internet is slow! Nice staff and everything is near you.

For the price this was a value-bargain! Clean, comfortable, friendly, and safe are words I would use to describe it. Sure the decor was funny. But it's not like we were here for a romantic getaway.
