Its very clean and comfortable.

Some of the kindest, most thoughtful people are on staff at this hotel. The hotel manger is a generous woman with a big heart and it's easy to see that the safety, security and comfort of her guests are of the utmost importance to her. I recommend this hotel.

I couldn't ever find the evening front desk guy. The pullout sofa that I paid an extra $50 per night for was broken so someone still had to sleep on the floor. We were charged a crazy amount to have our 2 dogs, which no one warned me about when I called to book the hotel. I have been trying to get in touch with the hotel since we stayed there a month and a half ago and no one has answered my calls or e-mails.

Booked for two nights in early July. Room temp when we checked in was 76 degrees, AC was not on. Set AC to 68 and went to bed thinking it would cool down. It did not. Decided to stick it out and not try to move rooms in middle of the night. Called at 6:45am next morning and they said they could move us to new room but they were in a shift change so it would be an hour. I had a meeting to be at at 8:30am an hour away And I wouldn’t be back until late that evening. The clerk says no problem, I could just change that evening when I got back to the hotel. I got back that evening at around 6:30pm. Went to desk and was told by the clerk on duty that they were out of that type room. I said ok, I’ll take a non suite. He said he had to call the manager. He went to another room for a minute, I saw him talking on the phone and then he came back in and said “ Manager said No” I said “Excuse me? ” He said again, “She said No”. In disbelief I turned and started to walk away, stopped, turned around and asked him to call her back and hand me the phone. He disappeared into the other room for a minute with his cell phone, then came back and dialed her number on the desk phone. She answers with “What? ” I then go through the whole story and she responds, “Employee shouldn’t have told you that this morning. He will be reprimanded. Anything else? ” I’m like, well what are you going to do about my room. Her response was “nothing”. I said ok, then I’m checking out and will go to another hotel.

We recently stayed at your hotel during family weekend at ACU. We had booked a non smoking room and arrived at around midnight. When we got to our room we were greeted by the strong odor of cigarettes. It was nasty. We called the front desk and were told since this was the last room and we got there late this was the only room left. (You snooze you lose) So, what’s the point of a reservation? In other words, you know how to take a reservation, you just don’t know how to hold a reservation. And one more thing. We found 3 old, dried up washcloths hanging over our shower curtain. Disgusting!

We stayed just one night. Clean, comfortable. Bed was a little too soft for us as we both have back issues. Nice hot breakfast.

Amazing hotel! I am super picky with my hotels and do lots of research before picking one. Was very hesitant about staying here, but we loved it. Check in/out was super easy. Staff was friendly. Rooms were big and clean. Bathrooms weren't claustrophobic feeling. A/c was nice and cold. And good variety of breakfast items. We will definitely stay here again.

I am ashamed of this place, and my wife and I used to unquestionably trust Choice Hotels, not anymore. I was traveling for school. Around 9 April 2014, I got a no smoking room, When my wife compared my travel card usage with my receipts, there was a $150 additional charge unaccounted for from this motel. When my wife called them, they told her the $150 was for "smoking in a non-smoking room". If my wife didn't compared my receipts with the charge card, I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN. Unless you want to be robbed blind, stay away from this place. On 6 June 2014, my wife called the manager at the Sleep Inn about the charge. I do not smoke, yet according to them, they have pictures of ashes in the sink, and the manager said, " (I) tried to hide it in the bathroom. " The manager then told my wife that there was nothing we could do except pay the extra $150. When we threatened them with military legal, she told my wife, "You do what you think you have to do. " I will not go to this place again, I do not care if I have to sleep in my car. Update 6 June 2014 1950L: The manager gave copies of the pictures to my wife, and forwarded them to me. I told her that those were not ashes, but whiskers from when I shaved. My wife told me that she already informed the manager about it.

Check in to the hotel was easy with a reservation. The hotel rooms were accommodating, spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was satisfying for a complimentary meal. The only flaw was the wireless internet was very spotty/slow. Other than that, the hotel had a pool that is open seasonally. Overall, this hotel provided a satisfying experience for my overnight stay.

I stayed here 6/8/2018-6/10/ with my kids. We were in town for the CALF convention. I chose this location due to its high rating and the fact that I had stayed at Comfort Suites In Tyler the previous month with my kids for a Mother's Day get away and had a phenomenal experience. The room in Tyler was immaculate, breakfast was as I expected, pool was wonderful and staff were great. I got a great rate, paying only $171.82 for the Queen Suite. So — I wasn't worried about staying in another hotel by the same chain. Sleep Inn was NOT up to my expectations. I paid $270.59 for the exact same room, exact same # of days as my Tyler stay to be met with a filthy room. Food in microwave, stains on BOTH bed spreads, food splatter on the desk by the bed, previous tenant's loofie still hanging in the shower, and after playing on the floor for 45 minutes my son was covered in black grime and had to be bathed. I then placed the dirty bedspread on the floor so he could play without getting dirty again. There was also body hair on the sheets on one bed. I went to ACE at the front desk to discuss the matter and waited in line for 45 min. However, there was another couple there arguing with him about their reservation endlessly, and two more people in line behind them trying to check in. So — I gave up, tolerated the dirty room and will never be back. The carpet in the elevator is nasty, as well.

This was the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with! The lady from the front desk was up front smoking a cigarette with another lady telling me my room that was reserved was not ready because they only had one cleaning lady. And could not give me a time when it would be ready! I drove over 4 hours already and had waited already an hour and a half more for them to get it together and erica from the front desk was rude and just was like idk what to tell you we only have 1 cleaning lady! Like wow! For real?! How bout you not smoke where everyone has to walk in and help out. She was rolling her eyes and talking to me like she didn't care if we stayed or not. Kept telling me we could still cancel over and over. Till I finally got tired of her attitude and cancelled! I do not recommend this place at all! And if I could give no stars it would be that! This was supposed to be a nice get away and it started like this! 5 thumbs down for this place!

Well they ran my card several times n just tried to pull another $100 from my account. So now I'm down 6oo dollars! And they don't want to make it right! Service was horrible. Room was not cleaned all the way. Sheets were not changed u could tell it was just made up. Oh n the room smelled funny. Please don't go here.

I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the beds. I stay in quite a few hotels when traveling and beds are not always equal. The lobby and room was clean. Clerk was friendly. I have no complaints for the money spent.

Do not stay here. This was totally unacceptable. The toilet ran water ALL night. One towel bar FELL OFF THE WALL. This was a horrible shock, as I have stayed in other SLEEP INN locations, and everything was fine.

Great place to stay. The pillows are really nice and pet friendly. Like the breakfast and the espresso machine!

This was a great spot to strop for a night. It was priced right, clean and had everything we needed (laundry was a bonus! ). Andrew worked the desk when we were here and he was amazing :)

Breakfast Buffet, bacon, scrambled egg and potatoes. Waffles made right there. Highly recommended. We Only stayed one night in passing. The only bad thing is they charge $25 per pet.

Clean, huge California King size bed, A. C worked great, nice big TV on wall. Could not hear highway traffic. The shower was awesome ~a walk-in with small corner to where no shower curtain was needed. Would stay again.

Terrible. Rooms were never cleaned the entire stay. We reported this to hotel staff, and they did nothing. We reported to corporate, and they did nothing. Go stay at the brand new Holiday Inn across the street.

The people in the city was above never seen this before in a city very nice and friendly the food was great the room was wonderful if I had to do it again I'll go back to the same place customer service was excellent.

Although I haven't stayed there personally, I took a tour of the place and I loved it with nice clean place. I have booked 4 rooms for my party. The manager had an upbeat and extremely nice attitude. That's one of the reasons I wanted to book 4 rooms.

If guest must check out by 11… and rooms can't be cleaned by 2 for check in as indicated on the reservation, maybe the hotel needs to consider more staff. Not sure that would even help. Front desk doesn't seem to concerned about it. Happens every time I stay here. Next visit to Abilene will try a new place. 3 strikes and you're out! Update… checked us in… gave us the room key then said "Oh wait a minute… we need to double check that, NO not ready". Lobby full of aggregated people and really no answer to what the hold up is. Something not right in this establishment. They should be embarrassed but it doesn't seem to even phase them.

My wife stayed at this hotel and was treated poorly for asking for a clean room. The manager told her if she didn't like it she could go stay somewhere else. The room was then cleaned poorly and still smelled like urine and smoke. The entire staff seemed unpleasant with having to do their job. We recieved a charge for smoking in the room. I called to dispute the charge and was told my wife admitted to her brother smoking a cigarette that was found in the room. He smokes a pipe, smoked it outside, and no one else that came in the room smokes. The times the charges were discussed with my wife prior to my conversation with Cindy, the reason for the charge was ashes in the room. My wife never admitted to anything other than her brother smoking or trying to smoke his pipe outside. The manager obviously has a personal problem with my wife and is lying about what she said. This is the most unpleasant and outrageous situation I have ever experienced with a hotel. This is wrong and I don't expect the manager Cindy to do anything about this review. I don't need the hundred dollars but someone else may need it and no one should be treated this way. Please do not stay here because I would hate for someone to lose money they desperately need and if we are actually refunded the money we will be donating it to Samaritan's Purse.

Room very nice, clean, awesome tiled, walk-in shower with high ceiling. Pleasant pool with hot tub. The location is beside the highway, not very attractive on the outside, but quiet inside. More than meets the eye.

We came down to play lulac. Checked in at 3 in the morning. I played through most of the night, got there at 8 and asked for a late checkout due to no sleep. I basically paid $130 to shower because I was denied the late checkout. I wont be staying there anytime soon.

Absolutely great, wonderful, efficient service, super comfortable beds, great shower, and delicious breakfast. My only complaint was that we were told the pool (which looked lovely), wouldn't be open until 10 (which is really late for summer), and then still wasn't open then, meaning our 3 kids who were waiting to get in left without getting to go. If they fixed that, it would have been virtually perfect.

Hotel is clean and the room was fine. The problem I have is that when I made my reservation on priceline I checked pet friendly. When I checked in I told the clerk we had two very small dogs staying with us. I gave the clerk my debit card for incidentals and there was no mention of any pet fees. I even had to come back to the desk because my key wouldn't work, I had one dog with me at that time. I asked for extended check out because we arrived at the hotel at 430 am, but was told they couldn't do that. Upon checkout less than 7 hours later I was told I had to pay $25 dollars for each pet. This was never mentioned until check out. I was also told they had already tried to run the charge on my debit card but couldn't get it to work so they needed the actual card. Great just charge whatever you want without telling me anything about it. This is nothing but a scam. The room was $64 and they know if they told me there was a $50 pet fee upfront I would have found another hotel. These people can't be trusted and I wouldn't let them have access to any of my debit or credit cards again. I have stayed at other sleep inn hotels and the people at the one in Abilene are going to ruin it for all the others. I am disputing the charge with my bank and I have contacted priceline as well as sleep inn corporate.

Simply superb! Great accommodations, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff as well as helpful. Has a fitness room with modern equipment along with hot tub and pool. Near major highways. I definitely recommend for the entire family!

This places claims a 3 star but is far from it and it shows. I've been on the phone for 3 days now trying to get ahold of the owner to resolve my issue here I've even called corporate and still my issues are no where near resolved if your looking for a professional place with honest truth worthy folks don't stay here. This place even has a service charge of 100 dollars to smoke "weed " in their rooms, to my knowledge "Marijuana" is still illegal wow most places have special services but never seen a charge like that one. Also appearing after my complaints of their rats (manger / drug addict house keeper) that went into my room and there my bags actually damaging my items! With holiday inn and marriott so near no reason to waste your time here. Worst experience of a life time. Not to mention over hearing a guest state a gold bracelet went missing while they were down stair having breakfast. Hum.

Very clean and cozy rooms. Look new/newly renovated. Spacious too. Everything was working and looked well maintained. Parking lot was under construction. I'm a neat freak and a bargain hunter. I was pleased. By the way, we were traveling west and passed a huge cluster of hotels and restaurants on the right. This is a half mile further on the left all by itself which is probably why it's cheaper. I'm fine with that. Only a 5 minute drive to eat and the room was like $25 cheaper than the rest.

I have stayed at this sleep inn location three times now. If it wasn't clean I would not go back. They have a good breakfast that is well maintained. The area around this sleep in is growing fast (I am from this area). Another reason I stay here is that the area is safe.

By far the best hotel is have stayed in in a long time. I work on the road and spend most of my time in hotels. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is delicious. Stay here.

Close to the interstate. Very reasonable priced. Rooms were extremely clean and new. I felt like I was staying in a much more expensive hotel. Pet friendly as well! Breakfast was a real breakfast not just a couple muffins and cereal. I'd highly recommend and will stay again if I'm in the area.

The hotel is right off of interstate 20. It was a very nice hotel. Very well kept up. Nice staff. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good.

I stayed at the location in Abaline Texas. I was really impressed with the room size. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We will probably stay there again.

WORST HOTEL I have ever slept in. Front desk was very rude both the white woman and larger Mexican woman with glasses. Room had hair still in the sink and bathtub. Rings from leftover cups on the desk; it was absolutely horrid. Will NEVER stay here again and highly do not recommend this establishment to lay your head.

The hotel is very clean and modern. Staff is friendly. For a brand new hotel the sheets are wilted and super thin and poor quality. They don't fit the bed in the corners. The walls are super thin so the hallways become very loud as do the rooms next door. Carpet is clean and new and granite counters are nice.
