The upholstered chair is filthy. Mold at base of shower. It took nearly 3 minutes to get hot water in the shower. If I wasn't exhausted, I would have left.

I usually stay in the Hampton Inns due to the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel but this place is hands down the worst one I’ve ever stayed in!

Old run down could only stay one day before moving. If their is a maintenance guy he needs to be shot. The hotel looks great from the outside and in the lobby, but sadly that’s where it ends. The elevator is a nasty hand painted blue, only one was working.
I’m a gold member and still in a lot of Hilton’s as I use their app for the points. I was very disappointed with this Hilton family hotel.

Rooms were dirty! Dead crickets were everywhere when I moved the curtains and front desk lady was rude and disrespectful and housekeeping was nosey and walked in with out knocking while I was intimate with my bf. When I tried to resolve issue over phone receptionist hung up on me!

This hotel has gone above and beyond to comfort and care for my family during an extremely difficult time.
David Bond (the manager), Angela Whisenhunt, and their entire housekeeping staff have moved mountains to comfort us during our time of need. I have never been so thankful for the kindness of strangers. Not only have they provided us with food and shelter, but they have provided us with prayer, peace and love. This is a hotel that is doing stuff right. Covid19 has done nothing to hinder their customer relations — it has only let them shine their light brighter.
I have not only found my “go to” place when I stay at abilene, I have also found new friends.

After a long drive with the kids we were greeted and checked in by David Bond. He was so friendly, he immediately put us in a better mood. He was super helpful and accommodating! Hotel is a little dated compared to others we've stayed in but it seems cozy and clean.

They tell me on the day of my check out that they can’t accommodate my late check out request AFTER confirming previously that they could.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing! We were stopping for a few hours of sleep while moving. He was so kind to allow me to park my uhaul & vehicle under the covered entry area while we slept for three hours and got back on the road. The rooms are very nice. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Abilene. The lobby and eating area at very nice. Unfortunately we were gone before breakfast, they offer a wide range of food. The restroom near the lobby was a life saver after being on the road… most hotels don't have a restroom available near the lobby. Excellent customer service from that very kind man… wish I had his name (checked in at 1:45 AM on 9.12)

Stopped here on our cross country journey. The best service! The staff went out of their way to help the 3 of us with amenities, food and early breakfast. We left at 3am and the staff made fresh coffee, and secured breakfast bags for us. Everyone was friendly and provided remarkable service. As frequent road trippers… this is now a stop added to our route.

Very clean and comfortable beds. When I arrived at 3:30pm I wasnt planning on taken a nap but fell fast asleep when I laid on the bed. The staff of amazing and the people this place attracts are nice.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Very quiet. Excellent.

Location was conveniently located off the highway. Room was clean and staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast was typical but still tasty.

The staff at this hotel is absolutely fabulous! Would I stay here again? With this staff? Yes! Way to go, all of you! (And I’m sure they are surprised to receive this review from me) You deserve a 5+!

This hotel was very clean and was very comfortable to stay in. There's not much to do around the hotel but it's not far from downtown Abilene and from Abilene Christian University where you can see one of the most incredible art structures I've seen ever. It's definitely worth a visit to Jacob's dream.

Really large, clean, stylish, comfortable room. Super comfortable bed, pillows and comforter. Awesome breakfast. Friendly staff. Reasonable room rate. I will stay here regularly.

The Room I was in I was very disappointed in but the bed was new and so comfortable. I had the Suite and the main room was so weird having a bathtub in the living room. Was told at check out they are remodeling. Thank Goodness!

Really good place to stay. Bed was kinda hard. But it was a good night sleep.

Although currently being renovated, the hotel was nicely maintained. My suite was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! I'll definitely stay at the property in the future.

This is a very nice place to stay. It also has a great breakfast buffet.

Location it's very convenient. The staff is always kind this is a solid hotel in the staff is accommodating. I really like their breakfast area.

My family stayed here when they came to visit me, went to pick them up and the rooms were so nice! The staff greeted me warmly, and I got the chance to look around the facility while my cousin who was staying there. I had to take a work call while I was there, and a staff member saw that I needed a place quickly to set up my tablet and etc so she directed me to the business center and it was such a nice area! She even brought me a water a few moments later, she was just so nice I believe her name was Tasha or something, she said she was new. I was so impressed that I made a point to find her later and book the business center for a meeting I needed to have in a few weeks. Excited to visit this facility again.

3.5 stars. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. It was as good as we had expected. Close to gas stations and a restaurant, both in walking distance.

Great location right off I-20. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are typical for other properties. A few touch in the bathroom (exposed screws and dirty vent) need some TLC. Would stay here again.

Was disappointed in a couple features during my stay at this Hampton. However, after providing feedback, the manager called me and talked through all of it with me. He assures me they'll make changes and urged me to let them know next time so they can make adjustments quickly (change rooms). I'll give this place another shot and appreciated the quality customer service.

Nice hotel. But bathroom was dirty. Then the cleaning staff woke us up at 0900 to see if we had checked out. Which has never happened to me at other hotels. Then there was no water pressure or hot water in the shower. Completely ruined the beginning of my day. Front desk advised the manager would be calling us later to remedy the situation. Update: it's been almost two weeks and have not heard from a manager or anyone else. Most likely won't be staying there again.

Checked in with ease and we even got a room upgrade which was very spacious. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic with lots of choices both hot and cold. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel, decent coffee and breakfast, decent Wi-Fi. DirecTV in every room. Price was right can't complain too much.

Noise starts at 9am! Vacuuming by the door for 30 minutes now. So if you get into town late don't plan on sleeping in, these walls are paper thin. The rooms are very and I mean very small. These are the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in while staying with Hilton. No vending machines but that's ok I guess since thry sell things downstairs. Rooms are halfway decent when it comes to them being clean. We will not be staying here again.

What ever happen to Hamptom Inn with real coffee cups. Guess going back to Holiday Inn. I love real coffee cup for hot tea at night. No disposable bag for your unclean clothes. House keeping is not being supervised.

I have never been to a hotel with friendlier staff. There were so many personal touches in the lobby that it felt like a home. It made holiday travel fun. Nice folks.

Chris was awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable of area. He gave me a couple choices 4 getting food. Texas Cowboy Bbq was amazing.

Very courteous front staff. Helped us out with all requests. Breakfast was decent, coukd be better. But overall no complaints.

Great staff who was kind, respectful, and competent. Was disappointed downstairs as they were out of any aspirin or ibuprofen equivalent. Would stay again, and have.

We were at the hotel for a wedding shower, and the hostess fell and scraped her leg really bad in the parking lot. The desk clerk was super nice and brought all kinds of gauze and ointment and things to treat the bleeding scrape. The room for the shower was nice too.

Outstanding… we only stayed one night but I see this as a Hotel where we could certainly stay more. Upon check-in the staff were helpful, friendly and gave a great first impression. The rooms were spacious, modern and quiet… Parking was easy, internet was very good. The check-out 'travel pack' that the Hotel gives you upon check out was a lovely touch… (A muffin, bottle of water, fruit and a snack bar) …

Good location, great and friendly staff. Key cards had to be reprogrammed once every couple days. Other than that this is what I would expect from a Hilton brand.

The stay was beautiful, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and both indoor and outdoor was very clean. When we checked in on Friday the 24th, there was guy working at the desk named Chris and he did an awesome job, very helpful and makes you feel at home. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in Abilene to stay there at The Hampton Inn.

Best hotel experience I have had in a while. We arrived Friday night and it appeared to be a little hectic but they got me checked in and signed up for HHonors. The off duty clerk hung around and even offered a complimentary water for my wait. The breakfast was great and our housekeeper was sooo sweet. In short, it's a beautiful hotel with some amazing workers. We'll stay here again!

Stayed overnight on the 4th floor. Nice clean room and the staff was friendly and helpful. A group of about 15 people decided to get in the pool at midnight and made a ton of noise and the staff quickly took care of them. Would stay there again.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff seemed a little confused at times, but still friendly.

Glad you asked. I had called the hotel days before arriving and asked for a bottom floor, I was told they would put a note asking for that choice but couldn't guarantee anything — typical right. So ok, I arrive early, literally 2 cars in the parking lot, guess what — no rooms on the bottom floor available. So if they can't guarantee a floor and nobody's checked in who the heck has all these rooms? BS Then this evening I go down to the snack shack, (nothing on any floor except for the lobby) the same clerk I had at check in was trying without much success to check in someone, after waiting until my ice cream bar had melted, I put it back and left. I had decided to Hilton Honors another try, I have traveled for years — not any better than the last time I used them, sad thing is I have 3 more bookings lined up. Oh well, lots of hotels and employees out there, maybe better luck next time — right Too bad the quality of service is so sad, we just have to take what we get and be happy… where the heck did America go anyway.
