This place is wonderful! Building and rooms were the cleanest I have ever experienced in a hotel and I travel a lot. The front desk person was GREAT and Katie, the bartender, was amazing! I will stay here again!

We got an excellent rate here, and were more than comfortable in the rooms. Amazing sleep. Wonderful staff.

Very nice, modern hotel! Room is comfortable — desk, A/C, plenty of outlets. Breakfast buffet is good.

My husband is here working in Abilene so we came to visit the staff have been Amazing they have gone out of their way to help me set up a home cooked meal for my Husband who has been away from us for over a month. The hotel is clean with friendly staff. Definitely would stay here again! Thank you.

Do not stay at this hotel! I will post a picture of the manager of this establishment and she has the worst customer service! She doesn’t care about the customers who help to pay her paycheck. She spoke to me VERY disrespectfully, and I had to get with corporate 4 or 5 times to fix my issue! This is a beautiful hotel, but it is very unsanitary! Please be sure to check your linen on your bed before you stay there, because my daughter had an accident in one of the beds, so we stripped that bed and put all of the lined on the floor. The housekeeper put the urine soaked linen back on the bed. I spoke to Monica (manager) and she told me that she was out with her family and was calling me as a courtesy. Such a horrible person to represent a major chain.

My husband stayed here for work. The elevators were broken. The front desk employees were nice, but housekeeping stole from my husband. They stole around $10 worth of quarters, that my husband had for his laundry and a Nintendo DS was also stolen. Management didn't do anything about the staff stealing from him. So beware if you stay here, bring anything worth value with you when you leave the hotel.

I’ve stayed here a handful of times when passing through. This is my go-to hotel in Abilene. Check-in/Check-out is always fast. Rooms have always been comfortable and clean. And it’s conveniently located just off of I-20.

Stayed here a few times, brand new hotel. Nice lounge. Large parking lot. You can’t park a tractor trailer in the lot but there are a few places near by you can get creative and still see your truck out the window. Lots of food choices within walking distance. Fuzzy’s taco shop is my favorite spot nearby.

New and lovely but I had my toiletries, cologne, WEN shampoo, turquoise jewelry, scarf and even the bag stolen by housekeeping. I pushed for an investigation. I called to complain but nothing was found. After I mailed a letter, management helped me to locate the bag but… My items were never recovered but we were certain that an employee had taken it. If you take nothing of value, it is a beautiful establishment with friendly staff.

Website said 93 bucks for our members bit they told me that rate was only for military personnel, I was charged 104. We checked in and went out for awhile returned around 7pm. Direct TV didn't work after about 30 minutes they called back said they couldn't reach maintenance and offered to give is another room but my little boy was already asleep. Next morning we were charged for breakfast. We are usually pretty easygoing but this was too many issues to recommend or return to this hotel.

It was really nice with really friendly employees. Just wish I had more time to spend there.

Other than not having complimentary breakfast, it was a superb hotel. Very modern and up to date. They had a rolling desk, genius! Bar and grill in the lobby and great customer service. Super clean.

Renovations look great. I stay in HI weekly and this one I will not stay at again. I left a written message at the front desk when I checked out and would have thought a manager would have called. Generally, I will not complain but I had 5 different issues, 2 with safety. (Back door key scanner does not work and elevator has loud popping sound when on the move; I suggest taking the stairs) Stay on the west side of town if you choose HI.

To start off I have to say that I am a bit of a hotel snob, this place is so nice. It has a small bar, nice sofas on the first floor to lounge on, the breakfast was so yummy, and the bed… OMG was so comfy! Will be back for sure, everyone here is so nice! Thank you so much.

New clean spacious rooms. Great staff. Good eats in the restaurant.

I think this is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Dirty rooms that Have left over hair on pillow cases and smell like smoke even though it's all non smoking. Hair stuck on shower walls. Dirty carpet. Attitudes from front desk. No hot water ran it over 20 minutes then finally called the front desk and got A. T. T. I. T. U. D. E took a cold shower because they couldn't get it fixed. I wish I didn't have to give it 1 star the entire experience was ridiculous.

New Hotel. Staff was friendly & efficient. No problems with our stay. If they can keep the current standards as the hotel finds it's personality, this could be a terrific IHG location.

A good room and great rate. Room was warm due to the A/C not working, but an engineer was sent shortly after I informed the Front Desk, and made the repair quickly. The restaurant in the hotel has good food. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel is very clean and staff are great! Would absolutely come back again. The staff gave me a ride when I arrived at the wrong hotel and were very hospitable. The food was great and the beds are comfortable.

Check in was awful especially for an ihg member. Front desk associate (male) needs a refresher course in customer relations, left such a bad impression my family didn't want to stay her. No breakfast, you have to pay extra. There's a holiday inn express right down the road with the friendliest staff, check in was easy and quick, and they have breakfast! Cancelled all my future reservations at this holiday inn and booked at the Express. Doesn't matter how nice or new a hotel is, if the customer service is awful.

I did not have a good experience. Started off with front desk. Arrived around 11PM and the clerk seemed like she would have preferred to be anywhere else. Not one bit friendly. Then we get to our room. Yes newly remodeled, modern decor and lots of opportunities. We stayed room 336 and I don't know if the other rooms are off but this one was. The mini refrigerator does not fit under counter, so just blocks the walk way. Amazed I did not kill a toe in the night. They installed plugs that are blocked. Every picture if crooked. The dead bolt does not lock. Still can over look all that, it was late. Then get settled in and Direct TV does not work. Says call front desk. The friendly lady stated that was doing it last night too but she thought they fixed. She offered for us to change rooms but by then we were in bed. Quite disappointed by my whole stay. New and fresh but not the Holiday Inn experience I expected.

Nicest Holiday Inn I have been in. Nice rooms. Quiet stay. Has a bar and a small restaurant as well. The Market Salad was delicious!

Friendly front desk. Clean lobby and room. The hotel is newer and has a great feel. The room is quiet. And they have a bar!

Awesome! I have stayed in many hotels some fancy, resorts, touristy or easy to find and in many countries. THIS Holiday Inn is by far the BEST hotel I have ever been in. We are very picky about cleanliness of hotels we stay in and this one passed with honors. It is the first time I gave my child a bath in the tub without first cleaning it myself, awesome job house keeping staff. We are also extremely vigilant about the bed bug issues that are sweeping the country. We check each hotel we stay in online before stepping foot on the property. Once inside we conduct our own check of the rooms so we are certain we won't have any stow aways. Relief came when we saw the mattresses covered in protective plastic to prevent those critters. The restroom area was spacious and the shower offered so much room that we weren't fighting with the shower curtain grabbing us during our shower. This is the first time I slept 8 hours in years and didn't have a backache when I woke up. I am sitting here writing this as my family sleeps (never happens) so thankful we found this place so I could rest before our six hour drive back to Houston. I believe in rewarding product, service and staff when it is deserved and this place definitely does from management, front desk, cleaning crews, maintenance, to anyone that has a hand in this location. We will definitely be back, Thanks.

This new Holiday Inn is beautiful. The front desk staff are outstanding. The food in the grill is delicious. I've stayed in a lot of Holiday Inns in the past year and this one is number one clean and beautiful.

Nice new hotel. Still had a little construction items going on, but not to disturbing. Be aware that this hotel does not offer free breakfast.

Never stay here again! The check girl at the counter gave a key to my to someone that asked for it. Didn't ask for identification just made a key and gave it to someone that knew my name. Then tried to tell me that I didn't remember asking for another key. That's after I showed her both my keys. Luckily nothing was missing out of my room. Will never stay there again!

The hotel was easy to find The habitasiones was well organized I the service excellent.

Wow, what a wonderful new hotel! We we're just looking for a spot along the freeway during our road trip, easy on/off. Had enough points for 1-night stay, so we decided this was a good stop. But, wow! The room was spacious and the staff all so warm and friendly, from the fellow who checked us in to the dining room hostess and waitress, and we even had a lengthy chat with the chef (omelettes were so delicious) and the manager when we checked out. If you are in Abilene, make this the place that you stay! Unfortunately for us, no mor road trips this direction on the schedule…

Nice and new! So new that the phone didn't work unfortunately. Housekeeping also ignored the do not disturb sign and tried to come in and clean. Other than that it was great though.

I stay in alot of hotels, and this one deserves 5 stars. The staff is amazing! From the manager on down. I was booked at another hotel that was a disaster, I called and luckily they had a last minute cancellation. They got me in, they have beautiful rooms and a great bar with tvs. The next morning, I had a good breakfast. They turned a disaster into something great. Holiday Inn has really stepped it up. Thank you to everyone for being so nice.
