The 2 rooms I was assigned was full of mold… it needs to be shut down.

The Halls smell like smoke I asked for a non-smoking room soon as I come in the room you can smell the smoke pretty strong not a very clean motel there by the air conditioner under the window the drywall is all cracked look like somebody tried to replaster it never repainted it. Basically the motel is run down I stated Clarion because usually Clarion is one of choices top of the line motels but definitely not this one.

This place it TERRIBLE! Everything is run down and falling apart, the ceiling is literally falling down! The room is insanely gross, like I feel dirty just walking in. The bathroom counter is falling apart, the door have half their pant chipping off. The vents are COVERED in dust and filth. The first room we were given smelled so bad of pot we had to get a new room. That room smells awful of mold. I'm staying here tonight because it's late, but I'm almost scared to let my little kids sleep on the bed here! I'm getting out of here tomorrow and finding a better place! I took pics but can't load then : (

Disgusting. Mold everywhere, sticky carpet, unknown substances all over the night stand, no hot water, no towels after 3pm, ceiling falling down in the bathroom, hallways are nasty, cobwebs in corners. I've never stayed somewhere this nasty and hopefully, I never will again. If I could give this place negative stars, I would.

Several maintenance things, no hot water desk clerk said maintenance would look at it when they came in left with no shoer.

NASTY & STINKS! The number of young women barely dressed going in and out of the place was MIND NUMBING! The parking lot was full of trash and it looked like the carpets have never been cleaned! The bathroom had cracks and mold at the shower. The pool was padlocked shut because according tobthe front desk the "locals" abused the privelage? Do you charge the locals $120 also? Do NOT stay here!

When we got there at 6 pm we were assigned to a dirty room. When the couple yes an elderly man and woman came to clean it they were very rude. The elevators wouldn't work. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of order. I felt the room wasn't clean enough. We will not be staying here again.

Rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable.

I loved the comfortable beds, quality linens, location, and the amenities offered at this hotel. The only points of criticism that I could offer both come from breakfast. The first is the coffee was terrible (not the only guest to complain about this during my stay) and the actual meal tasted as if the entire thing was made in the microwave. This made it a hard pass for me and my family. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Friendly staff. You can tell that the building is a little dated. However, they have done a lot of fixing up. The water pressure was good for a hotel, which was nice. The room was spacious, but the TV small. I would recommend.

The room smelled damp and like cigarets which triggered an asthma attack. The air conditioner started making a loud buzzing noise at 2:30 am. Woke us so we shut it off. The neighbors had their TV on loud all night (couldn't hear it with AC). No one slept and we felt sick when we left. The photos on line are attractive and I believe there is an effort to improve this property. Took a chance.

I love this Hotel Quality service and the rooms are nice! I love the bar area! And breakfast is awesome! The breakfast lady is awesome too! Just booked for the weekend also.

The people are friendly and the bed was comfortable but the hotel itself is pretty run down. The refrigerator in our room the door would not close, the toilet paper holder didn't work and the room smelled musty. Breakfast was about average with eggs, waffles, sausage, etc. It you just need a place to crash for the night, it works, but I wouldn't stay more then one night and I would try someplace else in the area the next time I am through Knoxvile, TN.

Stunning lobby with bar & pool tables. Nice sized fitness center. Room is modern and decorated nicely. I was pleasantly surprised with the interior as opposed to it's rough exterior, don't judge a book on its cover. This hotel is really clean and beautiful on the inside.

My husband and I stayed at this Clarion in December 2017 on our way to FL for the winter pulling a 40’ 5th wheel. And we also stayed last night April 9, 2018. There was very ample parking for our trailer and bed was very comfortable for a good nights sleep. I would recommend Clarion to anyone needing a good nights sleep. There are ample restaurants surrounding the Clarion also. We will certainly stay here in this coming December’s travels also!

We were very pleasantly surprised. Very reasonable rates for a very well managed hotel. The staff could not have been better. Our room was very clean, well stocked and recently renovated. The pool was nice. The dining area and breakfast bar were excellent. Everything in the hotel was clean, well organized and functioning properly. Again, the staff was first class. We will look for the Clarion sign, when we travel again. Cheers to the manager of this Clarion hotel.

Nice room, late afternoon staff very friendly and helpful. Very little hot water for morning shower… Eventually gets a bit warm, then back to cold. Breakfast ends at 9… Even on weekends. I went down at 8:50, and the only thing available was cold cereal. Breakfast area was dirty and not very appealing. Breakfast area serves as as a bar in afternoons and evenings. Morning staff indifferent.

Very comfortable, clean beds and room. Polite and friendly staff. They have a hot breakfast every day, an indoor heated pool, a bar and business center. Newly remodeled. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and looked nice with the renovations. The pool and exercise room we're a plus. Breakfast was excellent with a big selection. I'll definitely stay here again.

If you love cold showers, then this is the place for you! At the end of January 2018, we had a 3 day stay with cold showers… no matter what the time of day was. Management claimed it was due to the fact that "everyone was showering at the same time"… not true. We attempted 8 showers at 8 different times. We were also told by maintenance worker that the pilot light kept blowing out. Quite a different answer! When we asked to move to a different room, we were told none were available. However, after the weekend, once I FINALLY got to speak to with the "not very friendly" manager, Nancy, I was told that there had been other rooms available. Not sure how it would have even helped as many, many guests were complaining about the shower situation. Sure the renovations were somewhat visually appealing, but even the fanciest of hotels would not be appealing if one cannot do something as simple as take a hot shower for 3 days. In addition, potential guests might like to know that the folks in the room 2 doors down from us smelled a dead animal in their room. "Yeah, there must be a dead mouse in here somewhere" was the employee response. In all fairness, they were moved to a different room. Funny though, we were told as I mentioned earlier that it was a fully booked weekend. Poor communication? Computer glitch? Unwillingness to accommodate? Not sure what is up at this hotel. I had called her several times with no response.

The location looked fairly decent from the photos online and the room that I stayed in was a decent size with enough space for possibly another form of seating but all that was available was the desk chair. I don’t understand how a hotel can only have a single chair within the room, which was the desk chair. Luckily I was the only one staying but if I had my family with me or anyone else for that matter there would’ve been no place for anyone else to sit other than on the bed, which isn’t always comfortable. I do a lot of traveling and every other hotel I stay in has a desk chair along with a club chair and possibly even an ottoman. In addition there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so the bathroom is also a steam room after a hot shower. There were plenty of outlets though, comfortable bed, and Wi-Fi seemed decent but when reviewing other’s negative reviews I noticed that the same canned response from the hotel management is replied to each negative review. Can’t wait to see the same canned response to my review.

The hotel has had renevations and looks newer. But, there was no hot water. Heard others complaining about no hot water, too. Was lied to by front desk. They told us hotel was sold out, just to be told latter their was another room available to try their shower… and yes the hot water worked in that room. But, the front desk agent kept acting like the water was fine, and we were just crazy. Also, the plugs in the bathrooms and another one in our room didn't work. Heard others complaining of this issue also. Breakfast ends at 9:30, which is too early and not much options for breakfast.

Nice place. Good breakfast. The rooms have been recently refurbished, so the beds are comfortable, the fixtures new and linens white. It start there again even though I didn't get a hot shower in the morning. Pool is nice and warm in January also.

Terrible room! The decor was falling off the walls and, in some cases, was literally held together with Scotch tape. Bathroom was frigid (despite turning the heat on) and warm water took several minutes to start flowing. The view from the window was of an interior maintenance hallway (this hotel has windows overlooking the inside of the building?! ), which was brightly lit 24/7 and housed machinery which ran through the night making it difficult to get to sleep. The curtains failed to close properly, so the bright light shined through the window. You couldn't pay me to stay at this hovel another night. I wish I could post photos of this garbage room in order to show rather than tell.

If you’re looking for a hot shower, this isn’t the place to go. They have a friendly staff and the rooms are okay. Seems like an old prison converted into a hotel. For the price, it works for the night. If you’re trying to impress a girlfriend or wife, look elsewhere.

It seems to been remodeled. The bed was comfortable. I can't complain. We did have a issue with water. We had hot water on both sides. Actually was hilarious, even the people at the front desk found it funny. For it was the first time they heard this. I would have to agree, most of the time you don't have hot enough water. We had plenty of hot water, no cold water. The room was clean and looks like they been modernizing the rooms.

I knew ahead that we may have faced problems, however, I read that the hotel staff was extra friendly. I didn’t experience this however. With no warning, I had to pay a $150 security deposit simply because I prepaid for my room and was also placed on the first floor near the lobby because they wanted to ensure that we would not have a party or loud visitors. That’s also the reason for the security deposit. I felt profiled. Also, when my boyfriend went to politely ask for towels since we had a do not disturb sign on the door, they said well if you would’ve never put up the sign, you would have your towels. That was rude. I keep DND on my doors now due to having personal items stolen in a recent hotel experience. Her statement was unnecessary. She could have simply given us new towels or better explained how that may have been an issue. Other than that, the room was clean. The air wasn’t the most favorable. It felt like an indoor swimming pool. The shower would not remain hot. The air also didn’t work very well but that may account to it being December.

Party central on Central This is a great place to party and stay to get away from everyday humdrum. The staff is friendly and cool, the renovated lobby and first floor areas are cheery and colorful, and most, maybe not all, of the rooms we have had have been more than pleasant and comfortable enough. My wife and I shared a room with a female couple the night of the recent packed swingers Halloween party there and it was every bit the hot bash it was advertised to be. There was an animated crowd that with a few exceptions just seemed to want to let loose and pretend the real world didn't exist for a few hours, and it was mission accomplished for us on that score. We met and got to know (wink) several fun stimulating people that we hope to bump into (winkwink) again at the New Years party. I don’t know where in the hotel the people had rooms who have experienced odor and plumbing, etc, types of problems that I read about in some reviews, but ours have been mostly fine so far and we just enjoy our time there too much to get torqued over every other little detail that might not meet our definition of perfect the way some people seem to get something out of stressing themselves about.

We arrived late with 150 high school marching band students and the front desk staff was courteous, efficient, and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. The next morning the staff was able to keep the breakfast bar stocked up and most importantly hot coffee available. I was very impressed with the professionalism.

This hotel is beautiful inside! We were able to bring our pet. Check in was so easy. The staff there are very helpful and nice. Room was clean. I love the booths just past the lobby where you can eat and work on your laptop. The free breakfast was great as well. I would stay here again.

I'm a local, but after a tree got struck by lightening in our yard and blew out our water and electricity, we chose this hotel to stay in. I called, spelled my name out and gave a credit card number to book the room. When we checked in a few hours later, the gentleman at the front desk couldn't find our reservation. Luckily he had a room open and got us booked and took my payment. The next day, an extra $100 charge was on my credit card. I spoke with the manager Nancy and told her about the issue. It apparently was a "no show" charge for the first reservation. The first employee I spoke with took the reservation down wrong, misspelling my name. After days of trying to get a manager to call me back, an employee by the name of Shane rudely tells me the manager decided not to refund me. All of this was at the fault of the employees and I'm supposed to pay an extra $100?! These people are insane. I wasn't a "no show" because my husband, 5 month old daughter and myself stayed there for two nights. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. I am now having to dispute this with my credit card company, all while caring for my child and piecing our lives back together after losing all of our electronics and a lot of money on hotel rooms. Oh, and the bathrooms are disgusting and the employees are completely unprofessional.

The restaurant/bar here is still getting up and running, but it looks fantastic and the food they have, which is very limited for right now, is excellent. In a couple of months, this place will be awesome!

We are staying in a suite. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. I loved all the art work posted throughout the hotel. You can feel the love of Knoxville and southern hospitality in the staff.

My family and I alson came with our 10 u and 12 u travel baseball, we didnt see any swingers or crazy things going on but the breakfast was decent and the room were clean. The olumming needs to be fixes in the hotel but for the most part the experience was good and the price was as well.

Did a lot of work on the place. Bed was comfy and price was great. Would say their again.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff is great. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast in the morning was perfect. I will stay here again.

I hate that I even need to leave a star, but just to say I was there with my friend. She had booked the room as we were traveling thru Knoxville to the beach and needless to say it was the worst decision we have made. First of all we walk into the lobby about the same time as what looked like a church group was arriving only to see the horror that was awaiting all of us. I didnt know if I had walked into my hotel or a rocky HORROR picture show. The outfits and conversations that were openly being made in front of all and for everyone to hear was sickening. I saw small children going and coming from the pool and women with body parts hanging out of clothes and men following behind them with their tongues hanging out as well as other things. I didnt want to see this and I can only imagine these kids parents also didnt want their kids seeing this. I dont have kids but if I did I would for sure be giving the management in this place an ear full. Although I did hear someone say something to another person he was with that they refused to refund them so they could leave and find another hotel. At breakfast I had the unfortunate experience of hearing about one couple, or whatever they were, overnight experiences. Honestly I do not care what people do privately but in a hotel lobby and hotel hallways and in front of kids this was out of line and out of hand and the management should not have allowed for this to occur in the open. I am still nauseated.

First off let me just say that the front desk manager was wonderful. Unfortunately everything else was not. This is the worst service and accommodations I have ever had to deal with. The room smelled like poop. We had to slam our shoulders against the room door just to get it to open. Housekeeping did not clean our room the second day. The whole hotel was extremely hot. You would sweat standing in the lobby. It was cooler outside! It was so hot in the indoor pool area that we either had to sweat like in a sauna or stand outside while our child was in the pool. There was mold on the ice machine. This place was just horrible and what's worse is the OWNER was notified by my husband of the issues and he ignored them. What's even worse than that is I complained to the front desk when I checked out and I still have yet to hear from the general manager. I am appalled by the service I received. I will never stay at your hotel again. I have made sure to tell everyone that my service was the worst. Our family was there with a whole soccer team and their families. I was the one who told our whole team to stay here and that's the service we received. Absolutely embarrassing! I'm sure I still will not receive a phone call. Do not waste your time or money staying at this hotel. Oh and if you happen to stay on a Saturday night expect to here loud music from the conference room all day until midnight!

They took some great pictures, rooms actually look this way. Here in lies the hitch lipstick on a pig. Lazy refurbishment spend the extra money for best Western plus.

The hotel is still being remodeled after taking over a former Days Inn. Front desk clerk "KP" was friendly & greeted us upon arrival. The room was clean, decorated nicely, towels in bathroom were soft & fluffy. However, there was no place to hang clothes, when asked we were told the rods had been ordered, but haven't arrived. The breakfast was typical hotel fare. No coffee in the lobby for guests. Roll of toilet paper continued to fall off the roll, so ended up placing it on the counter. The holders need to be replaced. This hotel has a lot of potential, but in our opinion they should have waited until all remodeling was completed. The outside area of the pool, needs updating with better lounge chairs.

We all had a awesome time here, Mr. Mike made us feel welcome the minute we got there. He took care of all of our needs. The rooms were great and the beds were comfortable as well. They were even great to the kids. Mrs. Inga in dinning area was great. She was so awesome she helped with all of needs in the dinning area too. She made it personal for us, she too was great. The overall experience was great and a great hotel. Oh the bed linings were very clean and also the rooms, family enjoyed it.

This Hotel is Very Nasty and I checked out 15 minutes after checking in, went to the room which was very dirty, pulled the bed sheet down and had bed bugs. I went down and checked out. I called Hotel Reservation's who I booked for and explained everything to them. No refund no nothing. By the looks of this place they won't last another year. This place looks like something crackheads rent by the week. I can not believe the Wyndham has their name attached to this place. The manager Nancy Pickle is a joke and can not believe she stands by saying that her hotel is clean. I will always stay with Holiday Inn Express because I have never had a bad experience with them. I may be out $86, but I took my kids to a nicer hotel and good staff. I hope customer care makes this situation right but from what I hear these are all owned by different people. I would not let my dog spend the night in this place. I feel bad for people who can not afford to book another room after checking in this hotel. I learned to make sure I find reviews and walk in to the hotel before doing so on line. Good luck to ever stays in this place. I wish I did not have to give a star to leave my comment!

Very disappointed with my stay. I thought at check in was going to be great and the desk clerk helpful but once checked in that wasn't the case. Beds in room made very poorly and room not clean. Bad odor entering hall. Tried three x to let her know Wi-Fi wasn't working but was rude and responded noody else has complained. It needed a simple reset but I don't guess that was an option. Seemed like the maintenance man was here to hang with her n neither to help guests. If I hadn't paid cash n Knew I wouldn't get a refund we would've left almost immediately. If your comig to sleep and leave may be fine but if you wanna use Wi-Fi or need help u can forget it. I stayed aplil 2nd 2016.

You could smell cigarette smoke in the hall. They were changing out mattresses which was nice.

The smell of roaches. Roachy ran across my night stand… O. O. Poorly vacuumed rooms, still crumbs and pieces of food on the ground from previous guests. Crooked broken beds, this hot water problem is inexcusable. My lamps closest to my bed were previously destroyed, thus only one works. Oh-my-gosh. Run.

Very friendly staff but this hotel was scary to say the least. We went to our room and didn't want to put our stuff down. It looked like an abandoned hotel. The dirt and grime in the sinks and on the floor was enough to make us leave. We went across the street to another hotel but it was booked. We ended up driving home. Hope I save someone time.

Terrible place! Seriously, do not spend your money there! Couldn't even shower because the shower curtain had mold all over it! No hot water! The people, guests and employees were very odd and loud! we weren't comfortable having our child there! I can't warn you enough to not stay there.

The security guy who thinks he's effin' Rambo, is actually a leprechaun with a huge chip on his shoulder. He wears no uniform but will call the cops on you for not calling him sir and kissing his ass,. BEWARE! I'm not exaggerating. He told me to park in front. I did so. And he called the cops on me anyway even though I'd complied. I guess because I didn't say, "Oh, thank you, you big strong heap of masculinity! " he got offended.

Broken appliances, entrance doors on the ends of the building that cannot be locked (stay unlocked 24/7 just for anyone to walk right in), not the cleanest place by far, ACTIVE FIRE STATION ACROSS STREET and sirens are clearly heard inside the poorly insulated building, daylight around room doors, can hear neighbors talking in next room, MANY THINGS NEED FIXED.

Hotel smelled, staff and or customers smoked in the non smoking areas making our non smoking room smell. Elevator has obvious issues, THEN they take our 4 towels out and replace with 1 towel. We called for housekeeping and the guy at the front counter said he was doing the best he could because he was the only person here and he had no housekeepers or clean towels. We had to embarassingly go and knock on strangers room doors to see if anyone had any extra towels until we came up with some. They also had no one last night either when we needed a sheet that fit. Mold in bathroom under sink and on walls. Bad experience, never again.

We stayed in the suite for a week while on business in Knoxville. The staff are great and the rooms where clean and they have a great breakfast selection for guests. Only bad is there is so much drug traffic in and out of this place and people just coming and going in the pool and the hotel. Need to be more strict on traffic.

I normally don't do reviews, but for this hotel I'll make an exception. Filthy, mold in the shower curtain, stinky linen, and to top it all off a roach was crawling on my bed. Stuck here because everywhere is sold out. If I weren't in a small loaner car I would go sleep in the car. This place is disgusting. Don't know how it got 2 and a half stars.

Not Worth it. I paid $91 and got no flat screen t. V. The A/c want stop making this loud nosie &I'm hot.

UNDER NEW RENOVATION! Getting Better and Enjoyed Our stayed there.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Please do not waste money. This place reeks of dirty cigarette smoke, even in non smoking rooms. I was shown 3 rooms and ALL OF THEM were filthy. My 8 month old son couldn't stop sneezing and our throats were all sore from being there for 100 minutes. We had to pay for the room even after explaining that we were physically feeling sick from being there. The only explanation we got from staff was that we must be allergic to something else. I am not exaggerating this place is HORRENDOUS. Had they offered to refund our money I would not of been so upset but they couldnt even do that.

Too many bad experiences over a 2 night stay. First, they lost my reservation which ended up charging me extra due to the fact that my advanced booking was $10 cheaper a night vs. The rate they got me with. Next, go to what in their computer was said to be a "clean room" wasn't even close to being clean. Get a different room everything is fine. Until the next morning where there is no hot water for a shower. Next day, go back to the room and we are locked out because didn't book us for 2 nights in the new clean room. Overall, staff was nice, but facilities were AWFUL. Breakfast was nothing special. And didn't try out the pool. I will not stay in this place again.

Find another hotel at this exit. This stay was just a break in our drive thru the State, we didn't need much. What we found was much worse than that. The window curtains were sagging in the middle due to being hung incorrectly. That was the first thing my wife saw when we entered the room. It was a smoking room so burn holes in the sheets are tacky but we were able to tolerate that. Both bedspreads were torn which is only acceptable in a room $50 less expensive. The 4 inch rip in the shower curtain is inexcusable at any price. The kleenex stuck in the door's peephole is inexcusable. The fingerprint smudges on the bathroom door and opposite wall are unsanitary and inexcusable. There was an internet connection, but I had to work in the lobby so I could connect; the signal on the 4th floor was too weak. The TV channel guide wasn't even close. Never again will we risk staying in a Days Inn for fear of similar findings.

The rooms are very comfortable. The service is good and they are very helpful. The breakfast is very simply they don't give much. Their rooms are clean.
