Absolutely amazing and stunning hotel … the fireplace and patio in our room was the best part!

I recently stayed in your hotel and would like to provide some feedback. The staff that greeted us on November 2nd, awesome. Very pleasant and accommodating. Tyler in particular was a gem. My sister and I didn't realize there were no elevators and both suffering knee injuries were daunted by the task at lugging our bags upstairs. Tyler popped up with no hesitation to help. He even offered to help with groceries when we returned. The room was just as expected. Great view, comfy bed, and mostly clean (aside from the stained toilet). I would suggest different furniture as the cabinets are terrible to try and open. We woke to an alarm around midnight on night two. Finally realized it was an alarm coming from the adjacent room. It must have been vacant since it was so loud it could wake the dead. I called the emergency number over and over again and just got “this number is not accepting calls. ” Completely unacceptable. The alarm went off for hours. I got no sleep and this could have been a true emergency. Second issue, when we returned with our groceries (hours later) we asked for help carrying them up. Tyler had left for the evening and the girl at the front desk called for Billy on the walkie several times. He finally responded after about 10 minutes. Had a very bad attitude and was not happy to help. He brought a case of water and 6 pack of soda up to our floor and dumped it a few feet from the door to the room.

This place is super cute & well done. Their Reno updates the rooms while keeping some of it’s quaint 1900’s vibe. Though there’s no elevator, the walk up (we’re on the fourth floor), offers architecture & finishes to look at as you go. There’s also a small balcony 1/2 way up with a water feature that faces the street. The room is comfortable & the bed was clean. Loved their choice of toiletries, very fitting for this area. The coffee could use some work… if I had to complain, very weak. Have not had much interaction with the staff but upon returning to our room, they did ask if we would like our room serviced later (we had the do not disturb placard on the door). We said no as we’re only here 2 nights & we want to do our part to conserve water. This Inn is centrally located & very easy to get to area shops/attractions. The view from our room is phenomenal & so relaxing to sit out in the balcony to watch the world go by. We have to return to California in December so I think we will come back here for the bulk of our stay.

Exceeded expectations! Friendly staff, tastefully decorated, and close to everything. Our private balcony provided us a pleasant view of the bay. We would definitely book here again.

The suite was great, the staff was very nice and helpful. Conveniently located near grocery store and walking distance from the waterfront. Rather creepy at night, it's like a ghost town out there.

Very rude and stuff and mean manager. Extremely strict check out policy. My credit card was forced to be charged for $50 for about just 1 min late check out and my friend already drop the key to the reception and I just back to get My jacket. By the time they called to room and let the house keeper gave me the phone to show that I was still inside the room. Plus, we've been calling for the whole night to ask for tooth paste but No one would never pick up the phone. I've been in more than 50 countries and thousands of hotels but never had such terrible experience. I don't even know why should I went to there celebrate my birthday！ sucks.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is kept up very well and is simply charming. The staff were very friendly. We had a great view of the water from our room on the 4th floor. There is no elevator, so if you can't manage stairs I'd ask for a room on the lower floors. My wife has been to Catalina multiple times and stated that this property was exceptional for the island.

The place is clean. It is well maintained old building. We stayed a small room with three beds in it. I can't expect too much on an island. Staff morals were low. That is why I rated it low.

Great little hotel! Stayed over night, they had breakfast muffins and coffee/tea. Hold your bags during the day while you adventure. So much fun!

We had a amazing stay here. The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a 1st floor room with king bed, gas fireplace, private outdoor space with 2 lounge chairs. It felt like a luxury romantic getaway! The only bummer was that there weren't any bikes/golf carts available through the hotel and they don't have a continental breakfast. We will definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay over Mother's Day weekend. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Great location for lots of walking adventures and the rooms where well-appointed and so comfortable. My kiddos appreciated the complimentary apples — they certainly had plenty of fiber during our stay! Highly recommend!

We were shocked when we walked into our room. Calling it tiny would be an understatement. The room was barely big enough to contain the full size bed. The bathroom was a toilet and a stand up shower in a closet. Given that, the room was clean, the staff was great, and the location couldn't be more central.

Stayed at their beachfront suite for a lovely pre-wedding vacation. Staff are nice and friendly, they allowed us to leave our baggages there before the check-in time so we were able to roam a bit first. Free coffee and tea at the lobby. Room was clean. Good value for money as well. Would love to stay here again!

Quite nice. Free fruit in abundance. Special, lower rates for travelers stranded by cancelled ferries. High ceilings. Acceptable view. A source of cookies and coffee is nearby. Few electrical outlets, but you should conserve power anyway.

It's alot nicer than I thought. Front desk was nice and welcoming. The room was a little small but it was really clean the beds were really comfortable. I would stay here again. It is also really close to everything.

King Suite, was clean and spacious. The private patio was a nice area to enjoy the outside air. Staff was helpful every step of the way. Would come back again!

Rooms were well kept and updated. Staff was very friendly and our room and view were exactly as described. We only stayed for one night, but I will definitely be coming back for future trips.

Pretty central location right off the main Street and right next to Vons. The rooms are tiny though so don't expect anything spacious. They were doing some construction so the lights were out for a while. The complimentary breakfast was pretty limited but the scones were tasty. Overall an average experience. Also we are like 95% sure our room was haunted.

Nice hotel, pictures do not match the rooms though, I️ would stay some place else next time.

Such a cute hotel! The rooms are small, but face it how much time are you spending in it? It is a short walk away from all the restaurants and shops, the rooms have amazing views of the harbor (can't speak for the rooms that do not face the harbor). The staff is very friendly. If you stay on the 3rd or 4th floors be prepared to climb the stairs, consider it a workout after a day eating and drinking! We would most definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again!

Very relaxing. Only stayed one night but we were able to see a lot since it was on a week night. We were here fifteen years earlier as part of a cruise ship excursion to get married. We didn't have time to really enjoy the island then but we arrived engaged and left married. The Catalina Island Inn had an easy check-in. The staff including Mark was very helpful. Our room was nice with a beautiful view of the cruise ship turning to leave. The bathroom was huge with a nice walk-in shower. We took a walk to the place on Clarissa street where we were married but we we unable to get to the top of the island where we exchanged our vows. We were ok with that. Maybe next time. We had dinner at Mi Casita and walked along the storefronts to enjoy the live music at Luau Larry's. We picked up some souvenirs before shops started closing and picked up some snacks from Vons. We even played the lottery there! (No winner). We returned to our room and had a good quiet night's sleep. I woke up early and went to walk to the port and back and was able to see more in the light than we missed the night before including an arcade and spa! I returned to our room. My wife and I prepared to leave but not before taking the bus for a ride to see how far it goes around the island. The bus stops right outside and we were able to take it for a loop to the Botanical garden and through the bottom part of the island to the dock.

Too bad they don't serve breakfast. Small place. No elevator. Quiet room unless you have someone above you walking on the creaking floor.

Love the new rooms with the fireplace and the ocean view rooms have a great breeze. Love the decor and staff. Great location too!

For Catalina I would rate this an average NO SMOKING hotel with a below average bed. The NO SMOKING room we stayed in (332) was small, clean and nicely decorated with a NO SMOKING balcony showing a partial NO SMOKING view to the harbor. Unfortunately Vons which is a NO SMOKING store is next door and you can hear the rooftop A/C NON SMOKING Freezer fan whirling away all day and night. The hotel has a lovely NO SMOKING terrace that overlooks Metropole St. Which was really nice. My biggest pet peeves for my value were the rubber mattress pad, a non supportive mattress for anyone weighting over 150Lbs. And the extraordinary lengths the hotel goes to declare NO SMOKING! I'm not even a smoker but the NO SMOKING signs posted literally everywhere you look and the AWKWARD NO SMOKING waiver clause you have to sign when you check in were complete overkill!

We had a wonderful experience here. It was expensive, but this place is very nice. We enjoyed the private patio to lounge in the afternoon. The bed was very comfortable. The room was extremely clean and well kept. The staff was very polite and helpful. They held our luggage after we checked out so we could roam freely until the boat came. I would definitely stay here again.

The Wi-Fi at this hotel is practically nonexistent (I didn't get signal unless I was at or directly above the lobby), and the rooms are fairly awkwardly set up (mine had the bathroom with an extremely cramped shower stall on one side, and a the sink on the complete opposite side of the room). On the bright side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and you could borrow beach towels from the lobby. The mattresses were very comfortable, the decor was fairly pleasing (though there was nowhere to sit comfortably in the room). I guess you take what you can get on this island. Even the simplest of necessities do not come cheap here.

EVERYTHING, is ridiculously overpriced. I realize that it costs more to ship products to the island, but this isn't Hawaii. I've overheard the locals on more than one occasion complaining about the, crowds, tourist, and of all things… the children. My advice… do Vegas, they get it right. I and my girlfriend, enjoyed each other, but I'm disappointed in Catalina Island, and won't be returning anytime soon.

We stayed here for my mom's 80th birthday party and had a total of 5 rooms — three queen rooms, the twin room and a king room. The King room was on the end so there was some road noise but nothing to prevent sleeping! The room was a nice size, comfortable and clean. We took total advantage of the community balcony out side and loved it. It was a great meeting place for the family before heading out to dinner. The queen rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The twin room is tiny, but perfect for the young cousins to bunk in! The staff is very accommodating and friendly! Location is walking distance to everything. We would stay here again.

The bathrooms are fairly decent here. They have been upgraded. However, the beds are atrocious. Lumpy and way too soft. Depending on the room, you may get a good view. Prices are a bit steep given what you receive. Concierge service is adequate but not great.

Room was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walls were a bit thin but it wasn't too noisy outside to be a problem. The location was right in the middle of town and there was plenty to do in walking distance. I had a great time.

This hotel is adorable! The staff is super friendly and everything is decorated lovely. We had a Harborview king room, while small, was still wonderful. Everything was very clean and looked new.

We decided to take a last minute weekend trip to Catalina so all the "nicest" hotels were already booked. We decided to try this hotels and were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in one of the suits downstairs, and loved it!

Came here for my birthday they gave a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolate. The room is amazing. Customer service is outstanding. Would recommend to all, perfect for any occasion.

I surprised my husband in December for his Birthday by flying us too Catalina & staying at this beautiful Inn. The Catalina Island Inn was darling & the staff was amazing! I chose a specific room off the pictures on-line. I was so pleased that the pictures were exactly right on & our room was the exact room I had chosen. Perfect location, perfect size room, perfect staff & perfect view! Thank you Catalina Island Inn for making our stay & my husband's first time to Catalina so memorable! We can't wait to come back & stay with you!
